본 고에서는 도서관의 문헌제공 서비스 차원에서 연구되고 있는 프로젝트와 전자 문헌전달 시스템의 프로토타입을 조사, 분석하였다. 전자 문헌전달 시스템이란 출판사나 도서관에서 기존의 인쇄물 출판 및 배포를 낭가하는 전자적인 방법, 즉 비디오텍스, 전자우편, 온라인 네트워크 및 CD-ROM 등을 통해 이용자에게 필요한 정보를 전달하는 시스템을 뜻한다. 현재 활용가능한 전자 문헌전달 시스템을 중심으로 그 이용 및 접속방법, 제공가능한 문헌의 형태, 서비스 제공에 필요한 기술적 장비와 네트워크에 관련된 요구사항 그리고 주제분야 및 비용 등에 관한 사항들을 중점적으로 조사하였다.

"전자지불산업의 성장은 전체 인터넷 업계와 매우 밀접한 관계가 있습니다. 전자지불업체 혼자 성공할 수 없습니다. 전자지불업체는 인터넷기업의 성공이 선행되어야만 하는 공생의 관계인 셈입니다. 최근 일부 정보통신 기업과 인터넷 기업의 부정한 사업형태가 IT 시장의 물을 흐리긴 했지만 여전히 IT산업은 미래를 거는 성장 산업임에 틀림없습니다." 이니시스 김도균 사장은 전자지불업계 전망에 대해서 아직 샴페인을 터뜨리기에는 시기상조지만, 무한한 성장가능성을 보여주고 있다고 말했다. 이니시스가 전자지불서비스를 시작한 1988년도는 국내 전자상거래 시장이 아직 활성화되지 못한 초기시장으로써 국내에서는 전자지불서비스라는 개념도 아직 형성되지 않은 시기였다. 이니시스는 전자지불서비스라는 새로운 분야의 시장영역을 만들어 가면서 비즈니스를 창출한 선도자 역할을 수행해왔다고 할 수 있다.

상거래의 본질은 어떤 특정 상품이나 서비스의 제공과 이에 상응하는 경제적 가치의 교환이라 볼 수 있으며 따라서 전자상거래의 경우에도 제공받는 서비스나 재화에 상응하는 경제적 가치를 전자적으로 제공할 수 있는 전자지불/결제시스템의 구축은 전자상거래의 중요한 하부구조 중의 하나라 볼 수 있다.

본 논문은 개방형 IPTV 서비스를 위한 서비스 생성도구에 대한 것으로, 웹 서비스 기반의 컴포넌트를 기본단위로 GUI(Graphic User Interface) 상에서 각각의 컴포넌트를 조합하여 IPTV 융합 서비스를 생성하는 서비스 생성환경 제공방법에 대해 소개한다. 개방형 IPTV 플랫폼에서는 방송제어, 통신제어, 웹 콘텐츠 제어, 정보 제어 기능 등을 웹 서비스 기반의 Open API 로 제공하고 있으며, 서비스 생성도구는 개방형 IPTV 플랫폼에서 제공하는 Open API 를 컴포넌트로 하여 컴포넌트들을 조합하고 연결하기 위한 GUI 환경인 그래픽 에디터, 그래픽 에디터에서 완성한 서비스 로직에 대한 서비스 프로그램 코드를 생성하기 위한 코드 생성기, 서비스 프로그램을 컴파일하고, 컴파일이 완료된 서비스 프로그램을 디플로이하는 서비스 디플로이어로 구성된다.

본 연구에서는 VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language)을 이용하여 월드 와이드 웹(World Wide Web; WWW) 상에서의 3차원 디렉토리 서비스인 "3D 한마당"을 구현하였다. 현재 WWW 상에서는 많은 2차원 디렉 토리 서비스가 존재하나 3차원검색 서비스에 비해 사용자를 위한 가상 현실감이 부족한 단점이 있다. 또한 3차원 검색 서비스는 그 잠재적 수요가 점차 증가함에도 불구하고 아직 적은 편이며, 또한 중오성이 차츰 커 지는 전자 상거래를 위해 특화된 디렉토리 서비스도 그 요구에 비해 많지 않다. 3차원으로 디렉토리 서비스의 기능을 수행할 수 있는 3D 한마당은 HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language)에 의해 기술되는 2차원 전자 거래용 디 렉토리 서비스인 "한마당"을 보조하기 위해 제작된 것으로, VRML 1.0 사양에 맞추어서 만들어졌다. 3D 한마당 을 위한 VRML 월드를 만들기 위해, Pentium PC에서 3-D MAX 소프트웨어로 각 구성 객체들을 저작한 후, 이를 조합하여 VRML 1.0 사양을 따라 월드로 변환하는 방법을 사용하였다. 이렇게 완성된 3D 한마당은 기존의 2차원 전자 거래용 디렉토리 서비스인 한마당에서 하이퍼링크로 바로 접근할 수 있으며, 또한 월드 안의 객체에서 그 객체에 대한 2차원 테이블로도 연결이 가능하게 하였다. 이러한 3차원 가상상점 디렉토리 서비스는 전자 거래에 특화된 특성 때문에 정해진 개수의 객체들만 요구되어 구현이 쉬운 이점이 있고, 보다 인간에게 자연스러운 인테 페이스로 정보 검색을 지원하게 해줄 수 있다.정보 검색을 지원하게 해줄 수 있다.

Electronic reference service was defined as reference service designed for remote users and identified by a specific link from a library' website. This study examined whether academic libraries deliver web-based electronic reference services to remote users. Particularly, four types of electronic bulletin board services, free bulletin board, FAQ, Q＆A and reference question-response service were measured in terms of 8 types of questions and 12 contents of questions. The result showed that there was few differences among 4 services. Guidelines for effective use of electronic bulletin board services in academic libraries were suggested: standardization of service names, easy access to menu services, definition of each menu, search function for contents and standard web forms.

This study suggests a scheme to activate an e-book service through the analysis on the cause of low usage of the services in academic libraries. The data analysis of e-book circulation records was performed for the purpose of preparing the scheme. Frequency analysis and descriptive statistics were used for basic data analysis. Also, t-test, ANOVA, non-parametric chi-square, and correlation analysis were used to examine whether there are any significant differences between treatment groups divided by gender and major.

XML is a global standard for the Internet and e-business, and its use is growing in proportion to the spreading speed of e-Commerce. Thus, a policy for providing more safe security service for exchanging e-documents within e-Commerce is necessary. XKMS, one of XML security specification, defines the protocol for distributing and registering public keys for verifying electronic signatures and enciphering e-documents of e-Commerce applications with various and complicate functions. In this paper, we propose X-KISS service reference model and implement service component based on standard specification. Also describes the analysis and security of XML key information service for safe e-Commerce, paying attention to the features of XML based security service. This reference model supported include public key location by given identifier information, the binding of such keys to identifier information. The client service component controls the number of locate threads and validate threads to analyze the minimum requirements of real-time key retrievals. This service modeling offers the security construction guideline for future domestic e-business frameworks.

The purpose of this study is to provide background information for the improvement of e-Book service task in academic libraries through the task analysis of e-Book service librarians. The semi-structured interviews with 9 participants were analyzed using Activity Theory. The study results showed that participants have used various tools and interacted with diverse people to attain the goals of e-Book services. In addition, the division of labor and rules related to e-Book services were observable. However, there exist some problems in task performance, such as lack of budget, inconvenience of use due to unstandardized e-Book production, and disagreements of opinions. Furthermore, based on participants' responses, the ways of improvement of e-Book services in academic libraries were suggested in the aspects of content, system, and policy.

현재 새로운 형태의 방송 통신 융합 서비스라 할 수 있는 TV 포털 서비스의 전개가 시작되고 있다. TV 포털 서비스는 인터넷 포털 및 디지털 방송을 사용자에게 보다 편리한 인터페이스를 통해 거실의 TV에서 제공하는 서비스이며, 고화질 미디어, 양방향 데이터, 게임, 교육 등의 서비스를 제공하므로 멀티미디어 저작, 전자상거래, 가전, 콘텐츠 공급자 등의 다양한 산업 분야에 새로운 시장을 형성할 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 전망된다. 본 동향분석에서는 이의 개념 및 현황을 조사 분석한 내용을 기술하였다.
