In reflection of the current trend of times requiring the harmonization of nature, human being and scientific technologies, science museum has become more and more familiar to public and demand on it is also increasing. Information on the culture of science and technology is an engine for exploiting the future, particularly in the industrialized, informationalized and specialized society. Thus the science museum, the function of which is to convey such information, should be planned with the purpose of active and progressive communication. This purpose of planning can be achieved through well established process of the exhibition space production. This study focuses on the importance of the exhibition space production in the design of the science museum and proceeds as follows. 1. The concept of the exhibition space production is established following the review of function and the role of science museum. 2. The methods and the media used in the exhibition space production are suggested and the case study is made. 3. The scenarios for the exhibition space production planning are suggested and the effect and importance of the space production is enlightened. The result of this study shows that the space production increases the effectiveness of the exhibition in the science museum and that space production process should be reflected in planning the project.

The purpose of this research is to develop subject of up-to-date scientific technology, according with science museum, and to deviate from the old style, simply-seeing display, and the passive display which simply support narrative styles by one-way action. In addition, for motivating audience to take part in the display, this study is to analyze displaying technique, key marks of an exhibit and then to create the way which science museum should follow in order to plan interactive scenario and display technique. By analysis and consideration of museums, which I took for a sample, this study will work out display scenario, based on interactive concept, and experience display technique. Moreover, this study will suggest alternatives and basis in order to develop display technique of up-to-date science in science museum.

This paper compares presentation methods which are characteristic among museums of natural history in Korea. The different medium for exhibitions are divided into Specimen, Model or Panel Type Displays, Video Presentations, Sound, and Tactile Exhibits, and further classified as Fixed (A Type), Observable (B Type), or Performance Art (C Type) Displays. The museums we studied were the Seodaemun Museum of Natural History, Ewha Womans University Museum of Natural History, Seoul National Science Museum, Gyeryongsan Natural History Museum, the National Science Museum, Mokpo Natural History Museum, and the JejuDo Folklore and Natural History Museum. A study of these museums' approaches to display composition, and exhibition methods according to their exhibit types and contents, revealed the following results: The museums of natural history rely more on Fixed type displays to show information, with appropriate uses of the Observable and the Performance Art type exhibitions. Better utilization of appropriate medium is desired for display contents of Astronomy Space Earth, Minerals Rocks Geology, Animals, Plants, Insects, Prehistoric Organisms Environment, and Anthropology.

Recently, digital signage is various changes and converging media. It is common to exhibit and guide focusing on information transfer by using the display. Such a method can not express variously changing digital signage. Therefore, we have to find a way to solve the problem of place and structure. In this paper, we experimented the new direction technique. Finally, we are going to propose acoustic direction technique using a microphone to maximize digital signage and intention of delivery by adding an sound reinforcement method to the visual representation.

A museum represents a country's history, culture and life. With the development of science and technology, museum is no longer simply a space that concentrates on display and management of the collection but a space for education that visitors can directly experience and feel interest. The purpose of the present study is firstly through theoretical approach and research to grasp the status quo of the exhibition of the National First Level museums located in Beijing, which is the capital city of the People's Republic of China. Secondly, by analyzing the themes of exhibition and the exhibition presentation methods, it is aimed at finding out the problems of the status of museums in China so as to seek the requirements and the direction of improvements. Through this research, it is confirmed that in order to induce more active exhibition participation, the museums should expand the number of direct experience style exhibition presentation methods. Also, the museums in China need technical introduction of new cutting-edge exhibition medium so as to meet emotional demands of spectators and make the most ideal experience environment. Furthermore, it is confirmed that the development of new exhibition themes and the improvement of the museums in aspect of management and operation are necessary.

The article surveys the technique and characteristics of contemporary fashion exhibitions in terms of fashion museography and fashion curation. The article reviewed both a literature study on the history of fashion exhibition focused on the display technique as well as a case study of domestic and international contemporary fashion exhibitions. The results of the article is as follows. Fashion brand exhibitions are about building competitive business advantage by planning differentiated contents. It gives viewers a brand fantasy and increases brand loyalty. This type mainly displays the latest collections on the commercial purpose as well as uses diverse mediums and high technology to make a spectacular space that provides an immersive experience to the viewer. Second, the museum fashion exhibition focuses on the roles of fashion in terms of social, cultural and artistic aspects that also focus on public education. The presentation technique emphasizes careful collection conservation rather than celebrate fashion business. The article is to encourage a further scholar discourse of fashion curatorial practice and theory.

This paper aims to maximize the exhibition effect and to emphasize the efficiency of sample information transfer by using the surrealism dephase network technique and beam projection mapping by aesthetically approaching the arrangement of the existing exhibition specimens in the science museum using natural history contents. It presents the limitations of the existing analog natural history sample information transmission in digital form to give viewers interesting and fun and suggests the direction of using digital diorama for sample exhibition.

공간디자인의 확장을 통한 영상디자인에 감각적이고 생명력을 부여하여 시각적이고 기술적 요소를 가미한 유기적 아름다움과 감성의 경계와 확장에 대한 영상으로 접근하고 서로 다른 환경에서의 구조적이며, 공간적, 그리고 시간적인 개념들이 쌓이면서 다양한 오브제들에 환경에 맞는 의미들을 부여하고, 실험적 영상을 스크린뿐만 아니라 다양한 매체들을 통해서 효과적인 정보전달체계와 메시지를 전달하여 새로운 감각을 확장한다. 도시경관이나 공원, 건축물등 다양한 공공환경을 개선하기 위한 효과적인 영상연출과 가상공간에서의 현실적 느낌들을 부여하고 니즈들의 상호관계를 극복하여 전시기법과 패턴 여러 복합적인 요소들을 활용하여 영상디자인에 있어서의 효과적인 방법들을 여러사례 분석과 실험들을 통하여 연구한다.
