대전지부 소개 - 지부.연구회 소개

  • 대전지부는 대한전기학회 창립이후 1965년 5월 29일 선두로 발족한 이래 올해로 22년의 전통을 자랑하는 지부로써, 초대 배상환 지부장으로부터 유해경, 신지수, 임대철, 전승구, 강명식, 이은웅, 양재면, 남정일, 박상기, 노재화 지부장을 거쳐 백영기 지부장에 이르는 동안 회원의 수만도 350명이 넘는 큰 지부로 성장하게 되었다. 우리나라 최대의 연구단지인 대덕연구단지를 중심으로 충남권 전역에 걸쳐 15개가 넘는 대학, 기업체 부설연구소등 천혜의 연구조건을 갖춘 대전지부는 산.학.연 전문가들이 고루 분포되어 있어 대한전기학회 뿐만 아니라 대전.충남지역의 전기부문 기술발전과 인재양성에 크게 공헌하고 있다.

An Automatic Cut Detection Algorithm Using Median Filter And Neural Network (중간값 필터와 신경망 회로를 사용한 자동 컷 검출 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, an efficient method to find shot boundaries in the MPEG video stream data is proposed. For this purpose, we first assume that the histogram difference value(HDV) and pixel difference value(PDV) as an one dimensional signal and apply the median filter to these signals. The output of the median filter is subtracted from the original signal to produce the median filtered difference(MFD). The MFD is a criterion of shot boundary. In addition a neural network is employed and trained to find exactly cut boundary. The proposed algorithm shows that the cut boundaries are well extracted, especially in a dynamic video.

The Relationships of Chewing Frequency, Eating Rates, and Food Consumption with the Body Mass Index and Gender of College Students (남녀 대학생의 체질량지수에 따른 저작횟수와 식사속도 및 식품섭취량 비교)

  • In this study, we examined chewing frequency, eating rates, and food consumption volume according to the body mass index of male and female college students. Twenty-five male college students were divided into a normal weight male group (<23 body mass index, n=14) and an obese male group (${\geq}23$ body mass index, n=11). Twenty-five female college students were divided into a normal weight female group (<23 body mass index, n=21) and an obese female group (${\geq}23$ body mass index, n=4). Subjects were provided with abundant fried rice and allowed to consume it at their own pace. Chewing frequency, total mealtime, rate of eating, consumption volume, calorie intake, and the amount of one bite were measured. There were no significant differences in chewing frequency, total mealtime, rate of eating, consumption volume, calorie intake, and the amount of one bite between the normal and obese male groups. There were also no significant differences in chewing frequency, consumption volume, calorie intake, and the amount of one bite between the normal and obese female groups. However, the obese female group had a significantly shorter mealtime and significantly higher eating rate compared with the normal group. Thus, our study suggests that females who eat a meal for a longer time may reduce their food intake, consequently inducing body weight loss.

Comparison of Calorie Intake and Satiety Rate by Different Energy Density Level of Kimbab (에너지 밀도 차이에 따른 김밥의 섭취량 및 포만도 비교)

  • We attempted to determine whether energy density would influence calorie intake via cognitive cues, as reflected by satiety. This experiment was designed using two different energy density levels of Kimbab: normal Kimbab (1.6 kcal/g) vs low-density Kimbab (1.0 kcal/g). 26 female college students participated in this study. The subjects ate Kimbab in the lab once a week for 2 weeks. Each week at noon, they were served 24 units of either normal or low-density Kimbab, and we determined the units, grams, and calories of the real & cognitive intake of Kimbab, and also analyzed the satiety rate after eating Kimbab. Our results demonstrated that the real calorie intake from the low-density Kimbab was significantly lower than that of the normal Kimbab (290.3 kcal vs 474.4 kcal, p<0.001), but we noted no significant differences in the units and grams of real and cognitive intake between the normal and low-density Kimbab. However, despite consuming 39% lower caloric intake, the subjects reported similar levels of satiety rates with the two different density levels of Kimbab, as they did not perceive themselves to have eaten more normal Kimbab than low-density Kimbab. Thus, this study provides evidence that the energy density of food is a crucial determinant of caloric intake, and supports the notion that the consumption of low energy-dense foods may result in a reduction of caloric intake without altering satiety.

An Efficient Anchor Range Extracting Algorithm for The Unit Structuring of News Data (뉴스 정보의 단위 구조화를 위한 효율적인 앵커구간 추출 알고리즘)

  • This paper proposes an efficient algorithm extracting anchor ranges that exist in news video for the unit structuring of news. To this purpose, this paper uses anchors face in the frame rather than the cuts where the scene changes are occurred. In anchor range, we find the end position (frame) of anchor range with the FRFD(Face Region Frame Difference). On the other hand, in not-anchor range, we find the start position of anchor range by extracting anchors face. The process of extracting anchors face is consists of two parts to enhance the computation time for WPEG decoding. The first pact is to find candidates of anchors face through rough analysis with partial decoding MPEG and the second part is to verify candidates of anchors face with fully decoding. It is possible to use the result of this process in basic step of news analysis. Especially, the fast processing and the high recall rate of this process are suitable to apply for the real news service.

  • The Azerbaijani Armed Forces(AAF) that carried out a drone blitzkrieg for a short time defeated the Armed Forces of Armenia in 2020. As a result, the AAF proved that drones aren't supplementary means, but major ones in combat. Simultaneously, the AAF demonstrated that middle powers can shortly implement the revolution in military affairs(RMA) if the organizational culture for deep change are backed up. Especially, the AAF's RMA is full of suggestions to the Repulic of Korea Army(ROKA) because the ROKA wants to prepare the dronbot combat system for the future. After this, the ROKA is able to visualize how to perform the korean style drone blitzkrieg achieving a intact victory if its comabt system and structure are developed at the same time.

  • Analysis technique of flight compatibility test results using instrumented pod for external store is studied. Raw data of sensors and MIL-STD-1553B acquired from instrumented pod are analyzed separately. Besides, tuning and synchronization of sensor data enable the analysis of those two type of data simultaneously. Evaluation of analysis result shows that the analyzed data represent maneuvers of the aircraft successfully and agree the values of the real flight tests.

Effects of Olfactory Bulbectomy on Catalepsy Induced by Haloperidol in Rats (흰쥐에서 할로페리돌에 의해서 유발된 강경증에 미치는 후구 적출의 영향)

  • We attempted to clarify the effect of bilateral olfactory bulbectomy on catalepsy induced by haloperidol in rats. The incidence of catalepsy induced by haloperidol remarkably increased after lesion of olfactory bulb, which was significantly inhibited by L-5-hydroxytryptophan, L-DOPA, and ginseng's total saponin but reserpine and ${\alpha}-methyl-p-tyrosine$ were ineffective. The dopamine content of brain was significantly decreased by olfactory bulbectomy, but this result was reversed by ginseng's total saponin.

Memory Transmission and the Phases of Trauma in Vietnam War novels (베트남전쟁 소설에 나타난 기억의 전승과 트라우마 양상)

  • In this paper, the transmission and the phases of the memories in the novels dealing with Vietnam War have been studied. As a research method, Aleida Assmann's memory theory which plays a role in culturoloy theory is utilized. This study shows firstly that the others' voices excluded from the official memories of Vietnam War have emerged. Vietnam War novels released after 1990s actively reflecting the others' voices transmitted fresh the cultural memories. As the stories of civilian massacre, defoliant victims, and children of mixed bloods, Lai Daihan excluded from the official memories have emerged as a main them in the Vietnam War novels, they have become resistant memories. Existence and Formality, a Vietnam War novel by Bang Hyeonsuk brings up how to remember Vietnam War. His another novel, Time to Eat Lobster shows that without the fundamental retrospect and introspection of Vietnam War, Korea can't help but have the identity of America. Secondly, this paper shows that the tragedy of Vietnam War remains as a trauma that human bodies remember. White War by Ahn Jeonghyo shows that the memory moves back to the past in the process of struggle. In the novel, Slow Bullet by Lee Daehwan the phases of demage from defoliants lead to the family's tragedy. The Red Ao Dai by O Hyeonmi shows how a Korean-Vietnamese overcomes negation of his father and win his identity. In A Sad Song in Saigon shows that a mixed blood, Sairang who suffered from the confusion of his identity and his story fell down to a romance novel because of the weakness of narrative.

Design of a 5.8 GHz Narrow Band-pass Filter with Harmonics Suppression (고조파가 억제된 5.8 GHz 협대역 대역통과 여파기)

  • In this paper, the flexible narrow bandpass filters (BPFs) with ${\lambda}$g/4 short and ${\lambda}$g/2 open stubs by microstrip line on duroid substrate are suggested. These BPFs with narrow bandwidth show flexible bandwidth with variation of the position of the stubs using the Qe (external quality factor) without changing the impedance value at microwave range. On the other hand, by replacing the series quarter-wavelength connecting lines with the equivalent T-shaped line of bandstop filter(BSF), the compact stub bandpass filter with harmonics suppression can be realized. The BPF with ${\lambda}$g/4 short stubs shows the insertion loss of 2.1 dB and the return loss of 18 dB and BPF with ${\lambda}$g/2 open stubs shows the insertion loss of 1.2 dB and the return loss of 21.9 dB at the center frequency of 5.8 GHz and the bandwidth of 10 %.
