간호학생의 전문직사회화, 자아존중감 및 자기효능감에 대한 종단적 연구 (A Longitudinal Study on Professional Socialization, Self-esteem, and Self-efficacy in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to clarify longitudinally the professional socialization (PS), self-esteem (SE1), and self-efficacy (SE2) over time in nursing students. Methods: Using a structured questionnaire, data were collected from the same nursing students in 2008, 2009, and 2010 years. Descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA test with the SAS package were used for the data analysis. Results: The differences in the PS, SE1, and SE2 over time were not significant in nursing students. However, the differences in decision making over time were significant in nursing students. Conclusion: These results suggest that SE1 and SE2 continuously affected professional socialization over time. Therefore, it is necessary to devise a continuing and long-term strategy, which strengthens SE1 and SE2 in order to improve professional socialization.

간호학생이 지각한 전문직 사회화가 역할갈등 및 전문직 자아개념에 미치는 영향 (The Impacts of Professional Socialization Perceived by Nursing Students on Role Conflict and Professional Self-concept)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the impacts of professional socialization perceived by nursing students on role conflict and professional self-concept. Methods: Using a structured questionnaire, data were collected from 683 nursing students. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression were conducted using SAS program. Results: The mean score of total professional socialization was 3.74 followed by the scores of 'independence', 3.98, 'commitment', 3.80, 'decision making', 3.60, and 'maturity', 3.53. The mean score of total role conflict was 3.72, and professional self-concept was 2.75. Total professional socialization, commitment, and independence perceived by nursing students were positively related to role conflict. Also total professional socialization and total subcategories of professional socialization were positively related to professional self-concept. As a result of stepwise multiple regression analysis, the key determinants of role conflict were found to be 'independence', 'motivation with admission', 'sex', 'desire with working', 'grade' and 'decision making'. The key determinants of professional self-concept were 'decision making', 'commitment', 'satisfaction about nursing', and 'interpersonal relationship'. Conclusion: Through this results, it is necessary to improve professional socialization in order to increase professional self-concept among nursing students.

간호학 분야 조직사회화 연구에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 (A Systematic Review of the Studies on Organizational Socialization)

  • 본 연구는 국내 간호학 분야에서 수행된 조직사회화 관련 연구를 통합하고 분석하기 위해 수행된 체계적 문헌고찰 연구이다. 분석 대상 논문을 검색하게 위하여 '조직사회화' AND '간호'를 주제어로 하였고, 선정기준에 따라 총 26편이 분석에 사용되었다. 간호학 분야의 조직사회화 논문은 2016년부터 증가되기 시작하였고, 26편의 논문은 모두 양적 연구방법인 서술적 조사연구로 수행되었다. 조직사회화 관련 변인에 대한 연구 결과, 조직사회화에 영향을 미치는 변인으로는 회복탄력성, 직무스트레스, 지각된 공정성, 직장 내 괴롭힘, 전문직 자아개념, 조직분위기가 주로 이용되었으며, 조직사회화가 영향을 미치는 결과 변인으로는 이직의도, 재직의도, 회복탄력성, 조직몰입이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 간호학 분야에서 수행된 조직사회화 관련 연구의 체계적 문헌고찰을 통해 조직사회화 관련 중재연구의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

간호학생이 지각한 간호사 이미지가 전문직 사회화에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Image of Nurses on Professional Socialization Among Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: To exam image of nurses and factors on professional socialization of nursing students. Method: A descriptive study was performed and data was analysed with SPSS-PC Win(version 11.0). Image of nurses was measured by traditional-personal image and professional-social image(20 items, 5-Likert). Professional socialization was measured by revised Professional Socialization Scale(52 items, 5-Likert). A total of 135 students were participated. Result: Professional-social image showed stronger effect rather than traditional-personal image on Professional socialization. Commitment and Decision making were potent factors on traditional-personal image, and Commitment, Maturity, Independence and Decision making were statistically significant to explain professional-social image. Factors influenced positively professional socialization were job satisfaction and professional-social image. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that focus of nursing education have to shift in values and personality traits to professional-oriented value system. Results indicate the importance of encouraging professional socialization and cultivation of positive, personal self-esteem for nursing students through establishing nursing identity. Also, clinical role model was trained effectively.

간호학생과 간호사의 전문직 사회화 (Professional Socialization in Student Nurses and Nurses)

  • Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to identify and compare professional socialization in student nurses and nurses. Method: The participants were 70 student nurses in the first semester of their senior year, 27 new nurses, and 28 experienced nurses. Professional socialization was measured using the instrument developed by Du Toit(1995). Results: There was a significant difference in scores for total professional socialization among the 3 groups (F=3.650, p=.029) and the score for senior students was higher than that of new nurses. Of the 52 items, there were 10 items which had high scores (over 4) including 'Nurses should act in a professional manner'. 3 items which had low scores (under 3) including 'Nurses are innovative'. Nine items including 'Medical profession recognizes nursing as an autonomous profession' showed significant differences among the 3 groups. Conclusion: The findings suggest that socialization in the professional view of the job and professional role is needed in not only schools but also the clinical fields.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship among image of nurses, self esteem and professional socialization in nursing students. Method: Using a structured questionnaire, data were collected from 342 nursing students. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, ANOVA, and $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test with SAS package were used for data analysis. Results: The mean score of total image of nurses was 3.74, with scores for subcategories as follows: professional image 4.04, traditional image 3.77, personal image 3.65, social image 3.47. And the mean score of self esteem 3.58 and professional socialization was 3.73. Total image of nurses and total subcategories of image of nurses were positively related to self esteem and professional socialization. Also total professional socialization and total subcategories of professional socialization were positively related to self esteem. Conclusion: Through this results, the educational program for improvement of professional socialization is needed for nursing students.

일부지역 임상치과위생사의 전문직 자아개념과 조직사회화의 상관관계 (Correlation between the self-concept of clinical dental hygiene professionals and organizational socialization)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to review the correlation between self-concept and organization of socialization in professional settings among dental hygienists. Methods: Statistical analysis was carried out on the collected data to identify any correlation between frequency and percentages. Cronbach's alpha value and one-way ANOVA were conducted. SPSS 12.0 was used to conduct a correlation analysis on self-concept and socialization in professional settings. Validity of the research tools was also confirmed. Results: There was a correlation between the identity and job satisfaction, with the figures showing great variance. Satisfaction was correlated with the nature of the corporation and job performance. In addition, communication had a negative correlation between job characteristics and identities, job performance, while, organizational commitment and positive correlation showed a statistically significant difference. Conclusions: The study reviewed the impact on organizational socialization. The dental hygienist is believed to be on going research into developing more effective and systematic training programs so that they can be effectively socialized society organizations to improve the professional self-concept.

국내 간호전문직관 연구 주제 동향: 텍스트네트워크분석과 토픽모델링의 융합 (Trends in the Study of Nursing Professionals in Korea: A Convergence Study of Text Network Analysis and Topic Modeling)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내에서 발표된 간호전문직관 연구 주제 동향을 양적 내용분석을 통해 탐색하는 것이다. 연구방법은 학술논문수집, 단어 정제 및 추출, 자료 분석의 절차를 수행하였다. 351편의 논문을 수집하여 영문초록에서 단어를 추출하여 텍스트네트워크를 개발하였고, 네트워크분석과 토픽모델링을 융합하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 핵심 주제는 간호사, 간호전문직관, 간호학생, 간호, 전문직자아개념, 보건의료인, 만족, 임상역량, 자기효능감 등이었다. 토픽모델링을 통해 간호사 전문직관, 간호학생 전문직관, 간호전문직 정체성, 간호역량의 토픽그룹을 파악하였다. 시간이 흘러도 핵심 주제는 변화가 없었지만, 1990년대 역할갈등, 윤리적 가치, 2000년대 셀프리더십, 사회화, 2010년대 임상실습스트레스, 지지체계와 같은 주제들이 부상하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통해 국내에서 임상간호사와 간호학생의 간호전문직관과 이에 영향을 미치는 요소들에 대한 연구가 활발하게 발표되고 있었으나, 간호전문직관 형성 및 향상에 효과적인 다차원적인 중재 전략을 모색한 연구는 부족하였음을 알 수 있었다.

비정규직 임상연구 간호사의 근무경험 (Work Experience of Irregular Clinical Research Nurses)

  • 지방 종합병원 임상 시험센터에서 근무하는 임상연구 간호사로서의 근무경험의 의미와 본질이 무엇인지를 심층적으로 탐색하기 위함이다. "비정규직 임상연구 간호사로서의 근무경험은 어떠한가?" 임상연구 간호사의 업무 역할 경험을 사회문화적 맥락에서 해석하고 그 의미를 밝히기 위해 Spradley의 문화기술지 연구방법을 이용하였다. 연구를 통하여 도출된 주제는 다음과 같다. 임상연구 간호사로서의 업무 역할 경험에 있어 기존 간호업무와 관련하여 '임상연구 간호사로서의 사회화 되어 가는 과정', '연구 대상자들을 통한 애환'이었다. 임상연구 업무전문성은 전문교육부재', '연구 총 기획자의 역할'이었다. 근무환경 측면은 '자신만의 공간', '여유와 배려 속에서 주도적인 근무 환경'이었다. 복지 측면은 '비정규직만이 가진 고충'이었다. 비정규직 임상연구 간호사로서 근무경험은 간호사 역할 확대와 더불어 사회화 학습과정을 통하여 자신의 업무과정을 원활하게 수행하려는 경험을 하고 있었다. 결론은 간호사의 역할 확대에 따른 간호 전문직론에 임상연구 간호사의 직무분석과 역할이 추가로 구성될 필요가 있다. 사회적으로 비정규직 임상연구 간호사의 근로조건 개선에 기초적인 자료가 될 것이다.
