A Study on the Effect of Inter-departmental Dynamics on Relationship Commitment and Performance in International Freight Forwarder (국제물류주선업체의 부서 간 역학관계가 관계몰입과 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Because of rapid changes in business environment and fierce competition, firms are facing a more competitive environment and a more serious global competition. Many of the previous literatures have indicated that a business which increases its market orientation will improve its market performance. Numerous authors have argued the interdepartmental dynamics as prior factor to market orientation, and relationship commitment are an essential part of successful long-term relationships. Based on previous literatures, this study proposes the structure about interdepartmental dynamics, market orientation, relationship commitment and performance. The purpose of this paper is to find the impact of market orientation and relationship commitment on customer performance. In addition, this suggests interdepartmental dynamics as prior factor to market orientation. Results indicate that interdepartmental connections can reduce interdepartmental conflict, and lower conflict is a key factor of market orientation. Furthermore, this paper finds evidences that support the mediating effects of the relationship commitment between market orientation and customer performance.

The Effect of Message Framing on Personal Relevance and Social Value Orientation - Focusing on Privatization - (개인 관련성과 사회적 가치 지향성이 광고 메시지 프레이밍에 미치는 효과 - 공기업 민영화를 중심으로 -)

  • This research presented the privatization of pubic corporations in terms of communication dimension rather than political and ideological dimension. Concretely, we examined how the message framing of privatization affects consumer's advertising attitude. At the same time, this study also examined the moderating factors which make a difference of the message framing, such as personal relevance(high/low) and social value orientation(proself/prosocial). The results showed that the interaction effect between type of message framing and personal relevance. Positive message framing showed a higher effect than negative message in the case of low personal relevance. Also, There was the interaction effect between type of message framing and social value orientation. Positive message framing showed a higher effect than negative message in the case of proself. However, there was no difference in message framing effect when there was high personal relevance and prosocial. Lastly, the implications of this study was presented. First, this study expanded the scope of research related to message framing. Second, the use of moderating variables such as personal relevance and social value orientation increased the possibility of practical application. In addition, limitation and further study directions was discussed.

The Role of Integrating Mediators Between Market Orientation and Performance of Hotels (호텔의 시장지향성과 사업성과간 통합적 매개변수의 역할)

  • 본 연구는 시장지향성이 사업성과에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 시장지향성의 관점에서 사업성과와의 관계를 조명 해보고, 시장지향성과 사업성과간의 관계 연구에서 통합적 매개변수들의 역할을 연구하였다. 기존 선행연구에서 매개변수로 사용한 종업원 만족, 차별화 전략, 벤치마킹, 혁신, 경쟁전략, 시장지향성, 직무만족, 조직몰입, 조직간 정보공유 둥을 통합하여 변수들의 중복을 피하고, 상호 독립성이 유지되는 변수들만을 채택하여 종업원만족, 혁신, 경쟁전략의 선택과 실행 등 3개의 변수를 도출하였으며, 여기에다 국내 선행연구에선 아직 사용하지 않은 조직학습을 신규 매개변수로 추가하여 기업역량변수로 설정하였다. 또한 고객만족, 서비스품질, 서비스충성도(애호도), 서비스이미지, 기업이미지, 등을 통합하여 고객만족, 서비스품질, 충성도 등 3개의 변수로 도출하였으며 신규 매개변수로써 기업과 고객간 정보공유를 채택하여 고객반응으로 명명하였다. 여기에서, 각각 4개씩 도출된 변수들은 각각 하나의 차원으로 통합하였으며, 두 차원의 통합적 매개변수들이 어떠한 인과적 역할을 하는지 보다 깊이 연구하였다. 연구가설은 6개의 가설 중 시장지향성과 사업성과 간 기업역량과 고객반응의 통합적 매개변수들의 간접효과가 지지되어 4개의 가설이 채택되었다. 그러나, 시장지향성과 사업성과 간의 직접효과와 기업역량과 고객반응의 중복매개는 기각되었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 이론적 실무적 공헌을 제안하였으며, 끝으로 본 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구방향을 제언하였다.

기업지원 정보서비스의 품질과 조직특성 요인이 서비스 활용과 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

  • 이 연구에서는 "민간기업의 정보화에 소요되는 자원을 제공하여 수혜기업의 경영성과와 이를 통한 연관산업의 경쟁력 증대를 도모하는 정보화 분야의 정책적인 기업지원서비스"를 "기업지원 정보 서비스"로 정의하고, 기존 공급자 중심의 사업목표 달성여부의 평가를 위한 평가지표 개발연구에서 벗어나, 중장기적 관점에서 기업지원 정보서비스 활용요인과 성과에 대해 연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 서비스 활용요인을 기업지원서비스 품질(정보, 서비스, 시스템)과 조직특성(정보기술자원의 성숙도, 조직문화)차원으로, 기업성과 차원을 정보 지향성(Information Orientation)개념과 경영성과 요인으로 구성하여 기업지원 정보서비스의 활용과 기업 성과의 영향관계 살펴보고자 하였다. 실증연구는 산업정보지원센터의 서비스를 활용하고 있는 186개의 기업체 표본을 수집하여, 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석한 결과 설정한 모든 경로가 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 특히 서비스 품질과 조직문화가 활용수준에 큰 효과를 보이고 있으며, 정보지향성이 경영성과를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과는 정보화 분야의 기업지원 서비스 정책 수립 방향과 개별기업의 전략적 정보 기술 활용을 위한 주요한 시사점을 주고 있다.

Effect of Tuberculosis Prevention Campaign Message: Focused on message orientation and message presentation style (결핵 예방 광고 메시지의 효과: 메시지의 지향성과 메시지 제시방법을 중심으로)

  • This study analyzed the effective message strategy for the TB prevention campaign. This study examined the differences in the perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, and behavior intention according to the message orientation(individual-social) and the message presentation style(statistical-narrative). The results showed that individual message is more effective than social message in terms of perceived susceptibility and perceived severity. There was no significant difference between statistical and narrative messages. Finally, in the case of individual message, narrative messages were more effective than statistical messages; and in the case of social message, social messages were more effective than narrative messages. Based on these results, theoretical implications were discussed and a practical strategy for TB prevention campaign were proposed.

A study on the effect of managers' innovation orientation, technological innovation capability and organizational capability on corporate innovation behavior (중소기업의 전략적지향성, 기술혁신역량, 조직역량이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Although Companies are forming cooperation and networks with various companies such as technology and R&D, but it is urgently necessary to secure multiple competencies of companies that can effectively adapt. This study investigated the effects of corporate strategic orientation, technological innovation capability, and organizational capability on corporate performance targeting SMEs located in the Daegu area. The survey was conducted from September 1 to November 30, 2021 for employees of Daegu companies, and a total of 183 cases were used for the final analysis. Looking at the results of the analysis, as a result of multiple regression analysis on Daegu companies, it was found that the strategic orientation, technological innovation capability, and organizational capability of managers, all independent variables, had a significant positive (+) effect on corporate performance. It can be seen that efforts should be made to improve education and R&D according to various competency bases and innovations because of the large impact on the manager's mind, the company's core technical competency, and the company's organizational performance. This study aimed to understand the importance of corporate strategic orientation, technological innovation capability, and organizational capability on corporate performance targeting relevant SMEs that can have a significant impact on national and regional economies.

  • 안전한 생화환경에 대한 국민수요 급증 및 사회변화에 따른 장기적 관점의 재난관리체계가 필요하고 우리나라의 경제성장이 거듭됨에 따라 고도화된 기술문명 사회로 급속히 발전한 결과 과거와는 달리 지하철 사고, 가스폭발사고, 화학물질 분출사고 등 사회재난의 유형이 다양화되고 있을 뿐만 아니라 그 피해의 양상이 복잡화 되고 있어 이에 대한 전략적인 대응이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사회재난 사고유형 및 대응사례 분석을 통한 재난대응 시나리오를 개발하고, 관련 법제도 검토를 통해 법개정 방안을 수립하여 시범사업 기반 구축의 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

The Analysis of Relationships among Self-Handicapping Tendency, Goal Orientation, Self-Efficacy and Learning Strategies in Chemistry Education (화학교과에서 자아핸디캡경향, 목표지향성, 자기효능감 및 학습전략 사이의 관계분석)

  • The structural equation modeling techniques were used to assess a model of chemistry learning strategy based on self-handicapping tendency and goal orientation. Data were collected during chemistry lessons in two high schools. In the optimal model II-2 of this research, the self-handicapping tendency was negatively related to the use of self-efficacy. The learning goal was positively related to the use of self-efficacy and to learning strategy. The performance- approach goal was positively related to self-efficacy but presented an negative relationship to learning strategy. The performance-avoidance goal was negatively related to self-efficacy but presented an positive relationship to learning strategy. Besides affecting the learning strategy through self-efficacy indirectly, the learning goal, performance-approach goal, and performance-avoidance goal affected learning strategy directly. The self-handicapping tendency and performance- avoidance goal were a negative predictors of self-efficacy, but the learning goal and performance-approach goal were a positive predictors. And the self-efficacy affected learning strategy positively. The implications of these findings for learning strategy in chemistry are discussed. Although the paths model of relationships of the motivations to learn and learning strategies in chemistry education as mentioned above is established, the more systematic search for the higher self-efficacy and learning strategy in different courses and curriculums may be needed.

The Effects of Service-Orientation Perceived by Customers(Patients) of Small & Medium-Sized Hospitals on Relationship Commitment and Prosocial Behavior (중소병원 고객(환자)이 지각하는 서비스 지향성이 관계결속과 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this study is to understand the effects of service-orientation perceived by customers(patients) on relationship commitment and prosocial behavior, in order to suggest the direction necessary to establish the management strategies of small & medium-sized hospitals. The elements of service-orientation were composed of customer treatment, service failure recovery, and service standard suitable for the characteristics of small & medium-sized hospitals. In order to verify if the effects of three sub-factors of service-orientation on relationship commitment would cause prosocial behavior, the path analysis through AMOS was conducted. In the results of study, all the sub-factors of service orientation showed significant results, and also the relationship commitment and prosocial behavior showed significant effects. Based on such results, the implications and future research were suggested.

The influence of entrepreneurial orientation and absorptive capacity on SME's NPD (기업가적 지향성과 흡수역량이 중소기업의 신제품개발에 미치는 영향)

  • New product development(NPD) is imperative management activity for growth and survival of the firm. In the context of the small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs), the firm became further dependent upon NPD with the increasing turbulence in environments. This research suggests the role of entrepreneurship orientation(EO) and absorptive capacity(ACAP) that affect the success rate of NPD in SMEs. Although each of them has been highlighted as critical resources in the aspect of the sustainable competitive advantage, the relationship and the effect between EO and ACAP have received scant attention. Based on the sample of 261 Korean SMEs, this study examines the direct/indirect effect of EO and ACAP on NPD performance. While innovativeness of EO has the direct effect on NPD performance, both risk-taking and proactiveness of EO show no significance. While realized ACAP has the positive influence on NPD performance, potential ACAP shows no significant influence. In addition, we found that the impact of innovativeness on NPD performance was being partially mediated by ACAP whereas the relationship between proactiveness and NPD performance being fully mediated by ACAP. These findings would provide generic insights that both exploration and exploitation regarding knowledge and resources in SMEs are necessary in order to increase NPD performance and two activities have to align with EO.
