전하펌프 역률개선 회로를 적용한 양방향성 AC-DC Converter 설계 (Design of a Bidirectional AC-DC Converter using Charge Pump Power Factor Correction Circuit)

  • This paper deals with a bidirectional ac-dc converter used in ups system application. We propose a Voltage-Source-Charge-Pump-Power-Factor-Correction(VS-CPPFC) ac-dc converters. First of all, we propose a charge pump power-factor-correction converter. Secondly, we derive and analyse a unity power factor condition. The proposed topology is based on a half-bridge for the primary and a current-fed push pull for the secondary side of a high frequency isolation transformer. The advantage of bidirectional flow of power achieved by using the same power components is that the circuit is simple and efficient. And the galvanically isolated topology is specially attractive in battery charge/discharge circuits in ups system. We design equivalent model for the steady-state circuit and analyse operation waveforms for each mode. We show that the proposed model can be applied to ups system by simulation processes.

의료용 펌프의 리니어 모터 설계 및 해석 (Design and Analysis of Linear Motor for Medical Appliance Pump)

  • In this paper, it has been investigated that the design and simulation of linear motor for medical appliances. Vacuum pump consists of unified plunger and piston part, coils, inlet valve and outlet valve. Operating principal of vacuum pump show that air is to flow to go inside through the inlet valve, when the magnetic force (16N) is exerted, whereas, air is to flow to go outside through outlet valve, when spring force (14.8N) is exerted. The results of simulation, it was turned out that magnetic force was loaded with 16 Newton, displacement of actuator was about 8mm.

  • A simulator had been developed and will be used for reliability verification on turbine control programs for boiler feed pump in power plant prior to its actual operation in field. A mathematical model on thermal dynamics pertaining to prime mover steam turbine and pump was realized and included in this simulator. Also, many design and operating data acquired from fields were utilized in order to decide mechanical and thermal dynamic characteristics such as friction loss windage loss and inertia. A user can decide closing or opening velocity of steam stop valves and steam regulation valves. This simulator is able to generate steam pressure, turbine speed, pump power.

  • This paper deals with a method or a residual generation for fault isolation in a centrifugal pump with a water circulation system, driven by a speed controlled dc motor. It is based on parity relations derived from the moving-average model of the system and is used to identify sensor faults and two possible brush and impeller faults, where the former is dealt with additive faults, while the latter characterized as discrepancies between the nominal and actual plant parameters of the system is modelled by multiplicative faults. We will represent the propagation of this uncertainty to the model matrices by the approximate handling of partial derivatives of polynomials. With multiplicative faults, the transformation matrix implemented in the residual generator are calculated on-line. The simulation studies demonstrate that small changes of the system can be detected and diagnosed by using the method.

  • The annular induction electromagnetic pump with maximum flowrate of $60{\ell}/min$ for the sodium coolant system of liquid metal fast breeder reacters has been designed using the equivalent circuit method. The final optimum values of geometrical and electromagnetic parameters were obtained for an annular induction pump from the relation of the electrical variables giving the developing force to the fluid and the pressure drops between both sides of the pump. The physical properties of the core, coil condoctor materials in the high temperature and pump cooling systems under operation have been taken into account in the design of the pump. The structural material were also selected considering the reaction with sodium and the magnetic field distortion.

  • This paper proposed a hydraulic pump system which uses a variable SR drive and constant capacity pump. The base and maximum speed, torque are determined from displacement capacity of the pump and maximum pressure. The drive system is set to have a minimum power consumption having hydraulic preset pressure, which is operated within a maximum capacity and maximum preset pressure. This is achieved by controlling motor speed and power with feedback signal of pressure of the hydraulic pump. A 2.2kw, 12/8-pole SR motor and DSP based digital controller are designed and prototype drive system is manufactured. The proposed variable speed SR drive system is simulated and tested with experimental set-up. The test results show that the system has some good features such as high efficiency and high response characteristics.

  • Magnetic Fluid Linear Pump(MFLP)는 자성유체의 자기적 성질과 유체의 성질을 이용하여 일반적인 펌프의 기어 대신 자성유체를 이용하여 기계적 진동이나 소음을 최소화한 시스템이다. MFLP는 구조가 간단하고 동작전류에 의해 쉽게 조절할 수 있다. MFLP의 동작전류에 의해 발생한 자기장의 정도에 따라 유연하면서 펌핑력이 높은 동작이 가능하다. 따라서 MFLP를 운전하는데 있어 동작전류의 패턴과 크기, 중첩정도에 따른 펌핑력이 변하게 되며, 이에 따른 자기장과 관내의 자성유체의 형상을 해석하여 유연하고 펌핑력이 높은 MFLP의 운전방식을 개발하고자 하였다.

LED 구동 IC를 위한 레벨 시프터 방식의 전하펌프 회로 설계 (Design of a Charge Pump Circuit Using Level Shifter for LED Driver IC)

  • In this paper, we designed a charge pump circuit using level shifter for LED driver IC. The designed circuit makes the 15 V output voltage from the 5 V input in condition of 50 kHz switching frequency. The prototype chip which include the proposed charge pump circuit and its several internal sub-blocks such as oscillator, level shifter was fabricated using a 0.35 um 20 V BCD process technology. The size of the fabricated prototype chip is 2,350 um ${\times}$ 2,350 um. We examined performances of the fabricated chip and compared its measured results with SPICE simulation data.

위상 고정 루프의 기준 스퍼를 감소시키기 위한 이중 보상 방식 전하 펌프 (A Dual-compensated Charge Pump for Reducing the Reference Spurs of a Phase Locked Loop)

  • The charge pump in a phase-locked loop is a key block in determining reference spurs of the VCO output signal. To reduce reference spurs, the current mismatch in the charge pump must be minimized. This paper presents a dual compensation method to reduce the current mismatch. The proposed charge pump and PLL were realized in a $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process. Measured current matching characteristics were achieved with less than 1.4% difference and with the current variation of 3.8% in the pump current over the charge pump output voltage range of 0.35-1.35V at 1.8V. The reference spur of the PLL based on the proposed charge pump was measured to be -71dBc.

  • At present, there are unnecessary electrical consumes and a lot of fuel-losses by the vaporized gas due to the rising of fuel temperature because the fuel pump of the fuel supply system rotates regularly regardless to the driving condition. In this paper, we designed the multi-step controller for controlling fuel pump to supply fuel according to RPM of each moment by measuring the real time RPM of the engine at ECU of the vehicle. Also, it can judge the existence or nonexistence of disorder by measuring the pressure of the fuel supply line, in case of abnormal state, it can supply the fuel intelligently by changing the mode to self-compensation mode.
