The purpose of this study was to identify the facility adaptation characteristics, and the relationship between facility adaptation and the potential affective factors; ADL, self-efficacy, and quality of care facility, and to identify the affective factors on facility adaptation for elders in long-term care facility. Data were collected from 177 none dementia elders over 65 in 9 long-term care facilities from Jan.2, 2011 to March 15, 2011. The data were analysed through t/F test, correlation coefficient, and multiple regression (stepwise). The major findings of this study were as follow; Facility adaptation shows significant difference from admission decision maker(p=.004), religion(p=.027), and motive of admission(p=.009). And facility adaptation has weakly correlated with ADL and quality of care facility. The affective adaptation factors were decision maker, motive of admission, personal interview, religion, and perceived health status, but showed 22.8% of explanation. Thus the findings from this study could be used as bases for nursing intervention supporting elders' care facility adaptation.

Contents adaptation is a technology which converts one content to another content used in various devices. Specially, synchronization of inter-media which are included in a document is needed. There are various proposals and solutions for synchronization of inter-media. In the paper, I present "TATS : Temporal Aggregate Tree Strategy" model, which is used for specifying the temporal relationship among media in series of time. In the TATS model, aggregate tree, a sort of a binary tree, is generated from the execution time of those media. Using this aggregate tree, I implemented the inter-media synchronizations.

Introduction : This study presents a case report of a child with sensory integration dysfunction(mixed sensory modulation disorder and dyspraxia), and describes strategy of the sensory integration intervention to encourage child's inner drive and the change of adaptive response. Main Subject : The subject was a boy, age 5 years and 10 months, who participated in short-term intensive sensory integration therapy program which was provided in a 2008 sensory integration treatment course. Based on results of assessment to the child, This study identifies the treatment goals, contents of treatment and analyze adaptive response' change of four therapy sessions. Conclusion : This case report demonstrates improvement of the adaptive response by sensory integration intervention and impotent to encourage the child's inner drive. However, subjective date, which is sensory integration may produce an effect that is evident during treatment sessions and in home environment have suggested.

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of social support perceived by multicultural youth on learning adaptation and to identify the indirect effects of self-esteem and achievement motivation in this relationship. In order to analyze these relationships through structural equation model analysis, panel data were used for the seventh year of multicultural youth (2017). As a result of the analysis, first, the social support, self-esteem and achievement motivation perceived by multicultural youth had a significant influence on learning adaptation. Second, self-esteem of multicultural youths had a significant effect on social support. Third, the influence of social support perceived by multicultural youth on learning adaptation was found to have indirect effects through self-esteem and achievement motivation as well as direct effects. Based on these findings, this study suggested practical intervention plans to improve social support and learning adaptation of multicultural youths.

적응적 웹기반 기법에서 학습자의 반응이나, 탐색 행동의 근본적인 원인이 되는 학습 동기, 지각 등에 대한 판단을 정확히 할 수 없기 때문에, 학습자에게 완전히 적응적인 수업 환경을 조성해 주는 데는 한계가 있다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위한 대안으로 학습자간 상호작용이나 협동 학습을 지원하는 웹기반 교수 시스템이 제안되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹기반 환경에서 학습자들간의 협동학습을 효과적으로 지원하는 적응형 교수 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템은 협동학습 공간에서 주어진 과제를 수행하기 위해 발생되는 학습자들의 대화와 서로간의 상호작용을 분석하여 적절한 조언을 제공함으로서 협동학습이 효과적으로 이루어 질 수 있도록 지원한다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of Career Education Program(CEP) on freshmen of nursing department. A non-equivalent pre-post test of quasi-experimental design was used. 44 freshmen were assigned to an intervention group and 36 freshmen to a control group. The intervention program was composed of introduction, self-navigation, explore the world of work, career design and termination during 12 weeks from March to June, 2014. Data were collected before-and after program, and analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 program. There were significant increases in learning motivation (t=8.92, p<.001) and college life adaptation (t=3.51, p<.001) in the experimental group compared to the control group. This study suggests that CEP would be an efficient way to adapt to school and take learning motivation for nursing students. It is necessary to develop a systematic and tailored career education program for nursing students from a freshmen to a senior.

The subjects of this study were 258 Korean-Chinese parent-child dyads of an elementary school in Yanbian Province, northeastern China. Research questions covered relationships among children's school adjustment and ecological factors, significance of factors within ecological levels, and direct and indirect effects in causal relationships. Results showed significant effects within each ecological level. Achievement motivation of the individual system, home environment and social support of the microsystem, and mother's job satisfaction in the exosystem had significant relationships with children's school adjustment. Mother's education and job satisfaction influenced school adjustment through home environment; the causal relationship between social support and school adjustment was mediated by achievement motivation. Personal and general factors from each ecological level were more significant than ethnic related factors in explaining children's school adjustment.

통신망의 발전과 컴퓨터를 통한 멀티미디어 처리 기술의 발달로 인해 사용자들은 보다 나은 서비스를 원하게 되었다. 이로 인해 컴퓨터 통신망에서 다양한 분산 멀티미디어 응용을 실현하기 위한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있으며, 그 대표적인 응용으로 화상회의가 있다. 그러나 멀티미디어 데이터를 다루는 응용들은 몇 가지 어려운 문제가 있으며 그 중의 하나가 멀티미디어 데이터의 동기화(synchronization) 문제이다. 멀티미디어 동기화의 관련된 기존의 연구들은 특정 조건하에서는 잘 수행되지만 다른 환경에서는 한계를 나타내는 문제점을 보이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 응용의 동기화 요구사항과 사용자의 인지적 특성에 의해 유연한 동기화 서비스를 제공하는 새로운 동기화 기법을 제안한다. 본 기법은 유동적인 망환경의 변화에 적응적이고 시계속도 차이가 있는 시스템 환경에서도 영향을 받지 않는 동기화방식이다.

Recently a lot of informations is interchanged among many users through the network such as Internet. In this situation. multimedia data transfer has some problems. that are jitter, the difference of delay in arriving packets, and loss of data due to the various delay between sender and receiver. The arriving data packets are not synchronized because of those problems. Especially, an efficient method is needed to revise the sudden large changes of the delay, called spike-like delay. which is occured in explosive growth of networking. We propose efficient synchronization algorithm which controls synchronization interval and adjusts to sudden changes in networks. The algorithm, a receiver-driven adaptive synchronization method, is to synchronize the arriving data packets against spike-like delay and decrease the loss of them. In addition, another method is proposed in this paper. The method uses the probabilistic features of delay distribution appearing in general network. It is evaluated for the loss of data packets and the delay times.

In this paper, an adaptive multimedia synchronization scheme for VOD (Video On Demand) services in internet environments is proposed. This scheme considers the characteristics of MPEG (Moving Picture Expert Group) system stream. Consequently, the intra-synchronization is handled at the pack layer, and the inter-synchronization is handled at the packet layer. The proposed scheme can cope adaptively with variation of packet loss, jitter and client's playback capacity. If there are variations of the packet loss or client's playback capacity, the server will change the transmission rate by selective picture skip. The client can then adjust and control the playback time according to the variation of the network jitter. Our experimental results show that the proposed scheme can quickly adapt to the network condition, and can guarantee a better quality of service than the other existing schemes.
