The Mechanism of Development of Cyclones in the Area of the Far East Asia (겨울철 극동 아세아의 저기압의 발달기구)

  • In the area of the Far East Asia, cyclones are observed 157ea in winter season during the years(1966-1974). Some of them are most difficult to be forecasted due to the extreme irregulalities, have carried out synoptic analysis. The rapid development of cyclones can be attributed to the descending of cold air mass surrounding the axis of the Jet Stream due to the cyclonic rotation, and the lowering of the Jet axis. The Relationships between upper trough line and max. (or min) axis of upper air temperature on the 700mb contributes to the development of the cyclones.

Output Characteristics of Small Wind Power Generator Applying Multi-Layered Blade (다층형 블레이드를 적용한 소형 풍력발전기의 출력특성)

  • Fuel depletion and environmental problems due to the use of fossil fuels have been worsening of late, and the development of alternative energy sources is urgently required to address these problems. Among the alternative energy sources, wind energy is attracting much attention as a clean energy source, because it can be used unlimitedly without any pollutant emissions. In wind power generation, wind energy is converted to kinetic energy through rotor blades and this kinetic energy is converted to electric energy through generators. The design and manufacturing of the blades, which are the major parts of wind power generators, are very important, but South Korea still lacks the requisite basic data and key technologies and, therefore, has to import the blades from overseas. In this study, multi-layered blades capable of generating power at low wind speeds were applied to a small wind power generator and the output characteristics of the generator according to the wind speed and the number of blades were analyzed. As a result, at the maximum wind speed of 8m/s, the application of three blades achieved up to 33% and 18% higher generator output voltage, up to 33% and 15% higher generator output current, and up to 23% and 13% higher generator RPM than the application of one or two blades, respectively. In this study, the application of multi-layered blades to a small wind power generator was shown to improve the output characteristics of the generator and make the collection of electric energy possible even at low wind speeds.

  • In this study, state of sea surface were analyzed comparatively for cases of low atmospheric pressure, which occurred in the middle area of China and moved eastward to the Korean Peninsula across the Yellow sea during April 9-12, 1999, and typhoons 'NEIL' May 1999 and 'OLGA' July 1999, which moved northward along the west coast of the Korean Peninsula. In cases of low pressure, wind speeds and phases were respectively stronger and faster in the center area than in the surrounding areas. The wave heights seem to a somewhat differing tendency from that of the wind speeds due to the influences of geometry. On the other hand, wave heights were lower under typhoon weather than under low pressures, except the instance of wave height over 5 m on Chilbal when typhoon Olga pass northward from the southern area. Storm surges also showed larger amplitudes under low pressures than under typhoons. The results suggest that wave sand storm surges may be larger for a slow passing synoptic low pressures than for a fast passing local typhoon.

  • 본 논문에서는 상호역회전 풍력발전기와 New Yaw System 실증시험에 대하여 제시한다. 상호역회전 풍력발전기는 공기의 유동을 가진 운동에너지의 공기역학적(aerodynamic) 특성을 이용하여 동일한 바람방향에 대해 상호 반대방향으로 회전하는 Front Blade와 Rear Blade를, Generator의 Rotor와 Stator에 각각 결합 형성한 것으로, Generator와 Dual Blade의 회전력이 원심력이 아닌 구심력으로 변환되어 무게중심이 균형을 이루게 한다. 이렇게 변환된 구심력은 회전구동부분의 편마모 현상, 소음발생 현상 및 불균형 톨크 발생 현상 감소효과가 공히 구현되도록 하여 풍력발전기의 구조적 안정성 및 발전효율 증대효과를 얻을 수 있도록 한 기술이다.

  • As the world-wide supply of fossil fuel sources decreases, the need for efficient energy conservation in addition to developing green energy technologies becomes critical. Wind energy is now regarded as one of the most rapidly expanding energy sources in the world. However, due to the high cost for the foundation of large turbines and the high wind speed (over 12 m/s) required, it is very difficult to establish inland wind power plants. In order to solve issues mentioned above, experiments were performed using the small wind power system operated in a low wind speed. In this research, inland wind condition was first analyzed, and 300 W and 1 kW small wind power generators were then installed on a roof and efficiencies of generating electricities were compared.

  • Aerodynamic performance and starting characteristic of wind turbine blade are important factors that determine the whole system as rated power, operating method, etc. Therefore, starting characteristic according to aerodynamic performance, wind speed and blade pitch angle should be examined while wind turbine blade is designed. In this study, the aerodynamic analysis program of 750㎾ class horizontal axis wind turbine blade was developed and to certify this program, the aerodynamic performance of the commercialized blade was analyzed with it. The analysis result was corresponding to the value presented from manufacturer. And the starting analysis program was developed on the basis of the developed aerodynamic analysis program and starting analysis was performed. As a result, it was confirmed that variable speed operation and variable pitch control are profitable to wind turbine used in low wind speed as our country.

  • the effect if atmosphere is more important in the West sea of Korea than in other seas because of shallow water and heat storage if the water. The serial oceanographic observation data and coastal station data from NFRID, and the atmosphere data from KMA were used in order to find out the relationship between them The highest water temperature, salinity and weather factor were recorded in Aug, and the lowest of them in Feb. As the water deepens, the maximum time leg in water temperature and the minimum time leg in salinity. Water temperature have the maximum in Oct, the minimum in Apr at 75m of the 311-07 station with 100m depth water temperature (WT)-air temperature, WT-precipitation (Preci.) and salinity (Sal)-wind speed (WS) were in direct proportion, but WT-WS, Sal-AT and Sal-Preci in inverse proportion Water temperature and salinity I-ave time leg at the same depth the maximum had more the delay of $2\~4$ months at a depth if 20 meters than at the surface in all stations except for salinity at 307-05.

  • 최근 일부 댐유역에서 게릴라성 집중호우와 태풍 등과 같은 특이 호우에 대하여 강우-유출분석을 실시한 결과 유출율이 $100\%$를 상회하는 경우가 발생함에 따라 효율적이고 안전한 치수 및 방재업무를 실시하는데 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구에서 일부 댐유역의 유출율이 $100\%$를 상회하는 원인으로 강우 관측자료의 신뢰성이 결여되어 나타나는 것으로 보았으며, 만일, 강우관측소에서 계측된 강우자료의 신뢰성이 결여 되어 있다면, 이로 인한 유역 강우의 추정오차는 제거될 수 없을 것이다. 일반적으로 강우관측소에서 발생하는 계측오차는 관측소의 고도, 지형적인 장애(산악영향, 지장물 등) 및 기상학적인 장애(기단의 이동방향, 호우의 발생원인, 돌풍 등) 등 외부적인 요인으로 인해 발생할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 강우관측소에서 발생하는 계측오차의 다른 여러 외부적 요인들 중 가장 큰 요인으로 돌풍과 같은 풍속에 의해 발생하는 것으로 판단하였고, 연구대상 유역인 임하댐 유역의 유출율과 치대 풍속간의 상관분석을 실시하였으며 분석결과 유출율은 최대 풍속에 커다란 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 결국, 유출율이 $100\%$를 상회하는 호우에서 강우관측소의 강우는 강우시 돌풍과 같은 외부적인 요인으로 인해 적게 관측된 것으로 추정되며 저평가된 강우자료로부터 산정된 면적평균강우의 추정오차로 인해 유출율이 $100\%$를 상회하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유출율과 풍속간의 관계로부터 강우보정계수 추정식을 산정하였으며, 추정된 보정계수를 이용하여 관측된 강우자료를 보정한 후 강우-유출분석을 실시한 결과 댐유입수문곡선을 보정전에 비해 보다 근사하게 모의하였다. 위해서는 대상유역에 적합한 선행 강우일수의 결정이 중요하리라 판단된다.인 분석을 수행하고, 배수갑문 개방에 의한 수질개선효과를 최대화하기 위한 환경관리 방안 제시에 중점을 두어 수행하였다.ncy), 환경성(environmental feasibility) 등을 정성적으로(qualitatively) 파악하여 실현가능한 대안을 선정하였다. 이렇게 선정된 대안들은 중유역별로 검토하여 효과가 있을 것으로 판단되는 대안들을 제시하는 예비타당성(Prefeasibility) 계획을 수립하였다. 이렇게 제시된 계획은 향후 과학적인 분석(세부평가방법)을 통해 대안을 평가하고 구체적인 타당성(feasibility) 계획을 수립하는데 토대가 될 것이다.{0.11R(mm)}(r^2=0.69)$로 나타났다. 이는 토양의 투수특성에 따라 강우량 증가에 비례하여 점증하는 침투수와 구분되는 현상이었다. 경사와 토양이 같은 조건에서 나지의 경우 역시 $Ro_{B10}(mm)=20.3e^{0.08R(mm)(r^2=0.84)$로 지수적으로 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 유거수량은 토성별로 양토를 1.0으로 기준할 때 사양토가 0.86으로 가장 작았고, 식양토 1.09, 식토 1.15로 평가되어 침투수에 비해 토성별 차이가 크게 나타났다. 이는 토성이 세립질일 수록 유거수의 저항이 작기 때문으로 생각된다. 경사에 따라서는 경사도가 증가할수록 증가하였으며 $10\% 경사일 때를 기준으로 $Ro(mm)=Ro_{10}{\times}0.797{\times}e^{-0.021s(\%)}$로 나타났다.천성 승모판 폐쇄 부전등을 초래하는 심각한 선천성 심질환이다. 그러나 진단 즉시 직접 좌관상동맥-대동맥 이식술로 수술적 교정을 해줌으로

Analysis of Climatic Factors during Growing Period of High-Quality Oak Mushroom(Lentinus edodes(Berk) Sing) (고품질 표고 생산 지역의 버섯 생산기간중 기후 분석)

  • Oak mushroom(Lentinus edoes(Berk) Sing) is one of the most important edible mushrooms, and its production has been rapidly increased due to nutritional and medicinal effects. In this study, climatic factors during the growing period of high-quality oak mushroom were analyzed and environmental factors affecting the quality of oak mushroom were discussed. Three places(Changheung, Puyo and Wonj) as mass producing areas of high-quality oak mushrooms and the 15 days of the growing period in 1997-1998 were selected. Major climatic factors for analysis were average air temperature, average relative humidity, ranges of daily air temperature, relative humidity, and wind speed. During the period, th daily average air temperature was $7~20^{\circ}C$ with the diurnal air temperature($7~20^{\circ}C$) and nocturnal air temperature($0~-2^{\circ}C$). The relative humidity ranged between 50 and 70% with the range of daily relative humidity(40~60%). Wind velocity was 1~4m.$s^{-1}$, From the results, it is concluded that the growing environmental conditions for high-quality oak mushroom differed from the optimum conditions for the high productivity of oak mushroom; environmental conditions such as wide ranges of air temperature and relative humidity, low humidity and wind speed might affect the emergence of high-quality oak mushroom.

합성섬유를 증발매체로한 저농도 방사성액체폐기물 처리

  • 저농도 방사성 액체폐기물의 최종 처리를 목적으로 본 연구에서는 면 35%와 Polyester 65%가 함유된 합성섬유를 증발매체로 하여 자연상태의 공기를 강제 송풍시키는 자연증발처리시설에서 증발에 영향을 미치는 주요 변수에 따라 증발 단위 면적당 Cs-137, Co-60을 함유한 방사성 폐액의 증발량측정 및 제염계수를 조사하였다. 증발효과는 유입공기의 습도가 낮고, 공기의 유속과 공급액의 유량이 증가하고 유입공기 및 폐액의 온도가 높아질수록 증발량이 증가하였다. 실험결과 유입된 공기는 1$0^{\circ}C$ 이상, 습도는 80% 이하, 공급폐액의 유량이 3.4 $\ell$/hr $m^2$ 이상, 공기유속은 1.14~l.47 m/sec 범위가 조업조건이며 이때 제염계수는 5.1 $\times$ $10^3$, 배출공기의 방사능 농도는 4.7$\times$$10^{-13}$ $\mu$Ci/$m\ell$ air로 측정되었다. 공급유량이 4.6$\ell$/hr.$m^2$와 공기유속이 1.47 m,/sec일때 최대 증발조건으로 나타났으며, 이때 증발량은 총 증발면적 11,250$m^2$ 에서 1.2 ㎥/hr로 측정되었으며 대기의 온.습도 및 풍속에 따른 실험을 통하여 달톤형 증발식의 Wind Factor [Eh = (0.0168 + 0.0141V)$\Delta$H]를 도출하였다.
