Recently there are many researches about analyzing the interaction between entities by social network analysis in various fields. In this paper, we are going to analyze the author's interests area at the biography section in Journal of the Korea Institute of Information and Communication Engineering by social network analysis. The results show that many authors in that journal are mainly focusing on embedded, security, image processing, wireless network, big data, USN, network, RFID.

The purpose of this study is to study library marketing research trends in Korea and other countries through the analysis of author keyword network of peer-reviewed journal articles. The author keyword was collected from four major LIS journals in Korea and Scopus academic database for other countries'. The data was analyzed using NetMiner4 software. The results of the study were as follows: 1) In Korea, lots of library marketing studies focused on public libraries. However, there was a range of library marketing researches focused on academic libraries in other countries, 2) In Korea, there was not a variety of subjects of library marketing studies and the studies were mainly led by a few scholars, 3) In other countries, many scholars paid attention to digital library marketing through social media and/or web, and 4) there little library marketing studies focused on school libraries both in Korea and other countries.

최근 학제간 연구에 대한 관심이 커지면서 자연스럽게 연구자들 간의 협력관계, 특히 학술적 협력관계에 대한 관심 역시 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 공저 네트워크 자체의 속성에 대한 연구 뿐만 아니라 공저 분석 기법을 통해 특정 학문 분야의 지적 구조를 해석하려는 연구들이 꾸준히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 공저 네트워크 분석을 통해 국외 학제적 저널의 공저 현황과 소속기관 유형을 살펴보고 매개 중심성과 연결정도 중심성을 통해 학술지별 주요 소속기관과 저자들의 위치, 그리고 그들간의 협력 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다.

연구개발 활동을 지원하는 웹서비스 ScienceON은 논문, 특허, 연구보고서, 정책동향 정보뿐만 아니라 연구에 필요한 다양한 기능과 인프라를 통합적으로 제공하고 있다. 하지만 개인 데스크톱에서 활용이 용이한 검색 중심의 웹서비스는 언제 어디서나 쉽게 학술정보를 활용하고자 하는 사용자 요구를 충족시키기 어려운 문제가 있다. 연구자가 모바일 환경에서 쉽게 학술정보를 이용할 수 있는 환경을 제공하기 위해 본 논문에서는 검색 중심이 아닌, 개인의 관심정보와 논문 저자 식별 기반의 논문 피딩(feeding) 프로세스를 제안한다. 관심 분야 및 키워드 기반의 최신논문과 인기논문을 실시간으로 제공하고, 공저자 네트워크 및 저자 식별정보를 활용하여 최적화된 추천 논문을 제공한다. 또한 논문 중심의 커뮤니티를 제공하여 연구 활동 및 논문에 관한 다양한 의견 교환 채널로도 활용될 수 있다.

Recently, most firms have difficulties in predicting business context due to uncontrollable factors such as natural disasters, terrorism, social and political interests, as well as market factors such as rapid technological change, diversification of customer needs, and intensification of competition with competitors, thereby increasing the importance of risk management. The purpose of this study is to analyze trends of the risk management field concentrating on SCM, which is increasingly interested, and to identify key researches in this field and provide useful academic information. This study collected the information of the articles published in journals using the Scopus database, and analyzed both the network generated by keywords proposed in the articles and the network generated by the information for citations and co-authorship.

The purpose of this study is to see the intellectual structure in the field of veterinary sciences in Korea, using author profiling analysis(APA), a bibliometric approach. Three journals are selected on the basis of citation data, exchanging most citations with Korean Journal of Veterinary. And then, 50 authors who published most articles at selected journals during the given period of time were chosen. The analysis of similarity and dissimilarity among authors by comparing co-word appearance patterns from article title, abstracts, and keywords was made. Authors can be grouped 11 minor clusters under 4 major clusters, depending on their interests in the area of veterinary sciences in Korea. The subjects for each cluster at the veterinary sciences are decided by the matching the keyword, representing author's research interest. As a result, it is possible to figure out the current research trends and the researcher network in the field of veterinary sciences.

The purpose of this study is to study digital divide research trends of LIS fields and other social science fields through the analysis of author keyword network of peer-reviewed journal articles using NetMiner4 software. The author keyword was collected from KCI database. The results of the study were as follows: 1) the digital divide studies were focused on information services provision for information disadvantaged group by the public libraries in LIS fields. However, the studies of other social science fields were focused on the unique characteristics of information society and a new phenomenon of digital divide in the smart era, 2) compared with the other social science fields, there were a few researches about the old among the underprivileged, 3)there was little interest in other types of libraries except public libraries in LIS fields, 4)there is a need to study new types of digital divide in the smart era by LIS scholars.

Recent research on information and communication technology and Internet-of-Things indicates that convergence and integration facilitate the development of various technologies. Similarly, related academic theories and technologies have also gained attention. This paradigm shift facilitated the convergence and integration of academic disciplines. In particular, information systems have become initiators of change. However, only a limited number of studies have been conducted on information systems. To address this gap, this study explores the future direction of information systems based on the core concepts and results of the comparative analysis conducted on research trends. We considered 48,102 data obtained from international top journals from 1980 to 2015. We analyzed journal titles, authors, abstracts, and keywords. We conducted the network analysis on existing collaborative studies and performed comparative analysis to visualize the results. The results provide an in-depth understanding of information systems and provides directions for future research on this area.

Collaborative research has been actively done on the basis of academic relationships among various study area. The importance of collaboration has also been increased. Collaborative researchers can reduce time, cost, and research risk to maximize research productivity. This study aims to develop a framework for understanding the behavior of professional groups through network characteristics. To achieve the goal, we collected data of the co-authored network and that of the reviewer network from from 2006 to 2012. Total 230 submitted papers were analyzed on the views of research performance and productivity. Various analytical methods such as centrality analysis, sub-group analysis, correlation, and regression were conducted for assuring the reliability and validity of our research. The results shows that the productivity of the co-authored network was increased and the efficiency of the reviewer network was also identified through several network indexes.

Through a wide variety of disciplines, practices on data access and re-use have been increased recently. In fact, there has been an emerging phenomenon that researchers tend to use the data sets produced by other researchers and give scholarly credit as citation. With respect to this practice, in 2012, Thomson Reuters launched Data Citation Index (DCI). With the DCI, citation to research data published by researchers are collected and analyzed in a similar way for citation to journal articles. The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics and intellectual structure of sociology field based on research data, which is one of actively data-citing fields. To accomplish this purpose, two data sets were collected and analyzed. First, from DCI, a total of 8,365 data were collected in the field of sociology. Second, a total of 12,132 data were collected from Web of Science with a topic search with 'Sociology'. As a result of the co-word analysis of author provided-keywords for both data sets, the intellectual structure of research data-based sociology was composed of two areas and 15 clusters and that of article-based sociology was composed with three areas and 17 clusters. More importantly, medical science area was found to be actively studied in research data-based sociology and public health and psychology are identified to be central areas from data citation.
