  • 컴포넌트 레파지토리는 생성된 컴포넌트를 저장하고 컴포넌트 사용자가 필요한 컴포넌트를 찾아 재사용을 쉽게 할 수 있도록 제안되어 왔으나 대부분의 컴포넌트 레파지토리는 사용자가 찾으려는 컴포넌트의 존재를 쉽게 알 수 없어 컴포넌트 재사용에 중요한 장애가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트에 대한 성능 측정 결과를 이용한 레파지토리를 구축한다. 이 컴포넌트 레파지토리는 사용자가 관심 갖는 컴포넌트에 대해 비교할만한 기능과 성능을 갖는 컴포넌트들을 자동으로 추출하여 제공한다. 대형 컴포넌트 레파지토리에서 컴포넌트를 손쉽게 찾지 못하는 경우가 빈번한 점에 비해 본 논문에서는 자동화된 방법에 따라 재사용 컴포넌트를 보다 쉽게 식별할 수 있는 방법을 제공한다.

Regrasp Planner Using Look-up Table (참조표를 이용한 재파지 계획기)

  • A pick-and-place operation in 3-dimensional environment is basic operation for human and multi-purpose manipulators. However, there may be a difficult problem for such manipulators. Especially, if the object cannot be moved with a single grasp, regrasping, which can be a time-consuming process, should be carried out. Regrasping, given initial and final pose of the target object, is a construction of sequential transition of object poses that are compatible with two poses in the point of grasp configuration. This paper presents a novel approach for solving regrasp problem. The approach consists of a preprocessing and a planning stage. Preprocessing, which is done only once for a given robot, generates a look-up table which has information of kinematically feasible task space of end-effector through all the workspace. Then, using the table planning automatically determines possible intermediate location, pose and regrasp sequence leading from the pick-up to put-down grasp. Experiments show that the presented is complete in the total workspace. The regrasp planner was combined with existing path.

Applicability Investigation of E.coli, RNA and DNA Bacteriophages for Possible Indicator Microorganisms Based on the Inactivation Effectiveness by UV (UV 불활성화 효과에 의거한 E.coli, RNA 및 DNA 박테리오파지의 대체 지표 미생물로서의 적용성 검토)

  • This study compared UV and UV/$H_2O_2$ inactivation of E.coli, a possible indicator microorganism for fecal contamination of water, and $Q{\ss}$ phage, an indicator for pathogenic viruses. UV inactivation of $Q{\ss}$, T4 and lambda phages in actual secondary effluent was investigated, too. As a result, similar inactivation efficiency between $Q{\ss}$ phage and E.coli was observed during UV treatment, while $Q{\ss}$ phage showed higher resistance to UV/$H_2O_2$ than E.coli. $Q{\ss}$ phage resistance to UV or UV/$H_2O_2$ does not reflect those of all pathogenic viruses. However, the result tells that the use of E.coli inactivation efficiency in evaluating microbiological safety of water could not always ensure the sufficient safety from pathogenic viruses. Meanwhile, $Q{\ss}$ phage showed less resistance to UV than T4 and lambda phages, indicating that the use of $Q{\ss}$ phage as an indicator virus may bring insufficient disinfection effectiveness by causing the introduction of lower UV dose than required. Consequently, it can be thought that T4 or lambda phages would be more desirable indicators in ensuring the sufficient disinfection effectiveness for various pathogenic viruses.

Identification of a Transferrin Receptor-binding Peptide from a Phage-displayed Peptide Library (파지-펩타이드 문고로부터 트랜스페린 수용체에 결합하는 펩타이드 탐색)

  • Using a phage peptide library approach, we have isolated a peptide ligand that binds to transferrin receptor on the surface of human melanoma cell, B16F10. The library was first screened twice by recovering internalized phages and was further screened three times by competitively eluting transferrin receptor-specific phages with human transferrin among the phages bound to the cell surface. The peptides displayed by the selected phages were fused to translocation and catalytic domain of Pseudomonas exotoxin to prepare recombinant toxins. After estimating cytotoxicity of each recombinant toxin toward B16F10 cell, seven clones were selected. Sequence analysis revealed that one of the clones displayed a peptide which had a significant sequence homology with human transferrin. The peptide was chemically synthesized and was shown to be functional in delivering cytotoxic agents into B16F10 cell via interaction with transferrin receptor.

  • In general, whey obtained from various cheese batches is being reused, so as to improve the texture and to increase the yield and the nutrient value of the various final milk-based products. In fact, re-usage of whey proteins, including whey cream, is a common and routine procedure. Unfortunately, most bacteriophages can survive heat treatments such as pasteurization. Hence, there is a high risk of an increase in the bacteriophage population during the cheese-making process. Whey samples contaminated with bacteriophages can cause serious problems in the cheese industry. In particular, the process of whey separation frequently leads to aerosol-borne bacteriophages and thus to a contaminated environment in the dairy production plant. In addition, whey proteins and whey cream reused in a cheese matrix can be infected by bacteriophages with thermal resistance. Therefore, to completely abolish the various risks of fermentation failure during re-usage of whey, a whey treatment that effectively decreases the bacteriophage population is urgently needed and indispensable. Hence, the purpose of this review is to introduce various newly developed methods and state-of-the-art technologies for removing bacteriophages from contaminated whey and whey products.

백상지 공정의 폐쇄화에 따른 초지계내 전분 축적현상에 대한 시뮬레이션 연구

  • 국내의 백상지 공정은 공정에 투입되는 청수의 양을 줄이면서 동시에 폐수 배출 양을 감 소시키기 위해 많은 노력을 하고 있다. 공정으로 유입되는 청수의 양과 처리된 폐수의 양을 줄이기 위한 방법으로 PDFCpolydisk filter)를 도입하여 백수를 여과하여 showertf sealing 에 재사용하고 있으며 공정수 재활용에 따른 유기 물질과 무기물질의 계 내로의 축적을 방 지하기 위한 효과적인 폐수 처리방법을 모색하고 있다. 일반적으로 청수를 백수로 대체할 경우 공정 백수 내에 TDSCtotal dissolved solid), T TSSCtotal suspended solid), CODCchemical oxygen demand), 전기 전도도와 칼숨 경 도 등이 증가되며 음이온성 저해 물질Canionic trash)이 증가하여 보류 및 지력증강용 첨가제의 효율 을 떨어뜨릴 뿐만 아니라 마모, 슬라엄, 펠트 막힘 등의 문제를 유발하게 된다고 알려져 있다. 청수를 백수로 대체함에 따라 생기는 이러한 문제를 해결하면서 효율적인 청수 절약 방안 을 세우기 위해서는 무엇보다도 문제를 유발하는 원인 물질의 축적 양을 예측하는 것이 중 요하다고 판단된다. 본 연구는 백상지 공정의 폐쇄화 수준이 높아짐에 따른 공정 백수 내의 유기물질의 축적 현상을 분석하는 것올 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 산화전분을 유기물질의 대표하는 물질로 설정하였다. 이는 백상파지와 함께 초지계 내로 유업되는 산화전분은 파지의 4%를 차지할 정도로 유입량이 많을 뿐만 아니라 음이온성을 띄고 있어서 지료에 홉착율이 낮고 양이온성 고분자의 효율을 저해하며 슬라임의 원인이 되기도 하는 물질이기 때문이다. 산화전분의 축적 현상을 분석하기 위하여 pilot 설비 상세 설계도를 참고하여 하루 생산량 이 16 T/D이고 백상파지만이 파지로 유입되는 백상지 생산 공정을 모델로하였으며, 산화전 분의 홉착과 용출 모델을 만들어 상용 시율레이터를 이용하여 시율레이션 프로그램을 작성 하였다. 시률레이션 프로그램에서는 장섬유 미세섬유, 충전제를 지료 구성 성분으로 설정하였고 O Orccotoma 등이 사용한 일과 보류도 모델을 응용하여 보류도 모델올 만들었다. 산화전분은 백상파지에 포함된 형태로만 초지계 내로 유입되며 백상파지가 해리되는 과정에서 완전히 백수에 용출되었다가 지료 구성 성분에 홉착되는 것으로 가정하였다. 지료 홉착된 산화전분 의 양은 용존 산화전분 총량에 비례하는 것으로 가정하였으며, 이 때 이 비례상수를 전분 홉착율이라 정의하였다. 시율레이션 결과, 공정 폐쇄화가 진행됨에 따라 백수 내의 산화 전분 농도는 증가하게 되 며, 폐쇄화 수준이 높아질수록 백수 내 전분 농도의 증가량은 더 높아졌다. 백수 내의 전분 농도의 증가량은 백상파지 첨가량이 증가할수록, 표면 사이징 양이 증가할수록 커졌다.

Regulation of UVB-induced DRAM1-Autophagy protein in HDF Cells by the Vitexin (Vitexin에 의한 HDF 세포에서 UVB 유도 DRAM1-오토파지 단백질)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the Fagopyrum esculentum (F. esculentum) extracts and vitexin are as the results of microarray, cell proliferation, cell wound recovery, cell cycle, microphage pattern and protein analysis for damage improvement caused by UVB-induced damage. Microarray results showed that UVB-induced increase in DRAM1, Atg2a and Atg13 genes was reduced in F. esculentum ethanol extract and vitexin. Cell proliferation, wound repair, cell cycle, and microphage patterns were improved in F. esculentum ethanol extract and vitexin, while buckwheat ethanol extract and vitexin decreased in both DRAM1, Beclin-1, and LC3 I/II in the vitexin treatment group and p-mTOR and survivin were all increased in protein analysis. It is thought that it can recover to normal and control autophagy, one of the causes of cell aging caused by UVB, to inhibit and regenerate cell death. F. esculentum ethanol extract and vitexin can be used as a functional cosmetic ingredient.

Development of Variable Stiffness Soft Robot Hand for Improving Gripping Performance (그리핑 성능 향상을 위한 가변강성 소프트 로봇 핸드 개발)

  • Various types of robotic arms are being used for industrial purposes, particularly with the small production of multi-products, and the importance of the gripper, which can be used in industrial fields, is increasing. This study evaluated a variable stiffness mechanism gripper that can change the stiffness using the nonlinearity of a flexible material. A prototype of the gripper was fabricated and examined to confirm the change in stiffness. The previous gripper was unable to grip objects in some situations with three variable stiffness mechanism. In addition, these mechanisms were not balanced and rarely rotated when the object was gripped. Therefore, a new type of gripper was needed to solve this problem. Inspired by the movements of the human palm and Venus Flytrap, a new type of a variable stiffness soft robot hand was designed. The possibility of grasping could be increased by interlocking the palm folding mechanism by pulling the tendon attached to the variable stiffness mechanism. The soft robotic hand was used to grasp objects of various shapes and weights more stably than the previous variable stiffness mechanism gripper. This new variable stiffness soft robot hand can be used selectively depending on the application and environment to be used.
