제7차 교육과정은 재량활동을 확대 ${\cdot}$ 신설하여 학교와 지역의 여건에 따라 선택적으로 편성 ${\cdot}$ 운영하도록 하고 있다. 그러나 일선 학교에서는 수학교과 재량활동에 대한 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습 활동의 내용이나 지도자료 등이 명확히 제시되지 않았기 때문에 많은 어려움이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 일선 중학교에서 현재 실시하고 있는 수학교과 재량활동의 운영 실태와 문제점을 조사하고 중등수학교과 재량활동 학습 과정안을 개발 ${\cdot}$ 적용하여 그 성과를 분석함으로써 수학교과 재량활동 교육의 목적을 달성하고 다른 학교에 편성 ${\cdot}$ 운영의 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic information for the development of Creative Discretionary Activity Program to Home Economics teachers. The need scales were developed based on the development characteristics of adolescence and data was collected from 521 middle school students in the seoul. The results are as fallows. 1. Among the seven areas self-understanding and career explorations showed the highest degree of demand. and the area of family relationship and friendship and maladjustment of adolescents followed, knowledge about sex and manner awareness took the lowest position. 2. Finding potential ability, understanding aptitude and personality. understanding IQ and EQ, solution of character showed the highest degree of demand. and solution of stress, interest identification. changing society and new career followed. 3. Demands for Creative Discretionary Activity showed significant difference according to socio-demographic variables such sex, family types and economic levels.

2009년부터 초등학교 1, 2학년에 적용된 '2007 개정교육과정'의 재량활동 컴퓨터교육이 필수에서 선택으로 바뀌고, 범교과 차원의 독서교육, 환경교육, 통일교육, 보건교육 등이 재량활동에서 비중을 차지하게 됨에 따라 컴퓨터교육이 어려움을 맞게 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 충청북도 초등학교 교사 360명을 대상으로 컴퓨터교육 실태를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 개정교육과정에서 바뀐 컴퓨터교육과정에 대한 교사들의 올바른 이해가 필요하며, 컴퓨터전담교사 배치 및 교사 연수가 필요하다는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 재량활동을 통한 컴퓨터교육은 반드시 필요하고 정보통신 윤리교육에 대한 체계적인 교육이 필요하다는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

초등학교에서 재량활동인 컴퓨터 교재의 내용은 ICT 소양교육을 중점으로 기능 교육(한글, 파워포인트, 윈도우, 통신 등)에 대한 내용이 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 특히 초등학생들은 이미 생활에서 쉽게 접하는 정보화 시스템에 익숙하여 컴퓨터를 다루는 기능은 교재의 수준을 상당히 갖추고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 현재 초등학교에서 사용하고 있는 초등컴퓨터 재량활동 교재의 내용에 변화가 필요함을 나타내기 위하여, 부산광역시교육청의 초등컴퓨터 재량활동 교재인 '즐거운 컴퓨터'의 내용과 부산광역시 4, 5, 6학년 초등학생들의 ICT 활용기능을 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과를 통하여 초등학생의 ICT 기술능력이 컴퓨터 교재의 내용을 앞서고 있음을 보이고 향후 교재내용의 변화가 있어야함을 보인다

Refer ta the current state of optional curriculums and information related classes in elementary schools, the number of schools and classes, which is related in information education, is constantly reducing in recent 3 years. It is anticipated that the status of information education in school will get lower, because the extra-curricular activity is planned ta be changed with creative experience activity in revised education curriculum 2009, which is published by the ministry of education, science and technology. Moreover, the current state of information education in schools cannot actively handle the social changes and requirements but keep the old curriculums. This study explains the effectiveness and the examples of creative personality and fluency using educational robot in creative experience activity. We also tried ta find the probability of robot utilizing education as an expanded information education area in elementary school.

재량 활동을 위한 완벽한 자료의 개발을 기대하기는 어렵지만, 자료 개발의 바람직한 방향을 제시할 수 있는 자료의 개발과 보급이 절실하다. 이를 위하여 현직 교사들을 자료의 주 개발자로 하여 10개 학년별 수학 교육과정 6개 영역별 통합교과적 소재의 프로젝트 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습 활동 자료를 개발하였다. 수학 교과 재량 활동 자료의 개발 과정에서 발견된 시사점과 개발된 자료의 특징을 살펴봄으로써 그 바람직한 활용 방안을 찾도록 한다.

독서 교육은 종래의 종이책 위주의 독서에서 종이책과 인터넷의 멀티미디어를 병행한 방향으로 나아가고 있으며 재량활동 시간에 독서관련 활동을 선택하는 학급이 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 또한, 각 분야에서 이와 관련된 웹을 활용한 독서지도프로그램이 많이 연구되고, 제안되고 있다. 위인전이나 동화, 영어이야기 등의 분야는 웹을 활용한 여러가지 활동들이 제공되고 있지만 초등학생을 위한 동시를 즐길 수 있는 내용들은 많이 부족한 실정이다. 종래의 동시지도는 주로 교사와 텍스트 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. 본 연구에서는 학습자 중심의 수업활동을 통해 학습자 스스로 사고하고 연상함으로써 동시를 학습(국어과 교육과정을 분석하여 재량활동에 사용)할 수 있도록 웹을 기반으로 하는 동시학습 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

7차교육과정에서의 초등 컴퓨터교육은 재량활동시간 또는 특별활동시간에 단순한 응용프로그램(워드프로세서, 엑셀, 파워포인트 등)을 활용하거나 인터넷을 이용한 정보검색 수준이다. 따라서, 문제해결 능력이나 논리적 사고력을 향상시키는데는 미흡하다. 인지능력이 뛰어난 초등학교 5, 6학년에는 이러한 컴퓨터 활용방법 교육보다 컴퓨터 기초원리 또는 프로그래밍교육이 필요하다. 본 논문은 프로그래밍교육을 재량 특별활동 시간에 학년별(5, 6학년) 또는 통합학년으로 학습할 수 있게 프로그래밍교육과정 60차시 분을 개발하여 제안하였다. 개발한 교육과정은 교수 및 학습자의 요구사항을 최대한 반영하기 위해 설문조사 등을 통해 얻은 기초자료를 참조하였다. 제안한 교육과정이 초등학교 5, 6학년에 적합하고 우수한지를 검토하기 위해 일부 차시의 교육과정으로 5, 6학년을 대상으로 재량활동시간에 직접 교수 학습한 후 자기평가, 설문조사를 실시하였다. 결과로 제안한 교육과정이 적합성과 우수성이 있다고 판단되었다.

초등학교 시기가 올바른 식습관 형성에 중요한 시기임에도 불구하고 체계적인 영양교육을 실시하지 못하는 현실에서 2006년부터 시행되는 영양교사화에 큰 관심이 집중되고 있다. 그러나 현장에서 적극적인 영양교육을 행하기 위해서는 수업확보도 중요한 문제이지만 적절한 교재 및 매체의 개발이 필요하다. 초등학교에 제7차 교육과정이 도입되면서 가장 두드러진 특징 중 하나가 재량활동의 신설 및 확대일 것이다. 그러나 아직 학생들과 학부모의 호응을 얻을 수 있는 다양한 활동으로 구성, 운영되지 못하고 있고, 교재 또한 개발되어 있지 않아 일관된 교육을 제공하기 어려운 실정이다.(중략)

The current 7th Curriculum require elementary students to participate in an independent computer education class one time per week through means of discretion activity. However a national standard of this educational process has yet to be established, which has made regional provincial and city offices of education to choose textbooks for this purpose by discretion, that showed difference in quality, in operating education curriculums related to computer education for each classes in school such as continuing the repetitive contents without any rank or system. Also informatization education, which is one of national policies, might develop educational unbalance to young children who are to become the main characters in the future information society, due to excessive emphasis on aspect of using computer, which develops education mainly based on learning functions of applicable software. Therefore, we are proposing a discretion activity education curriculum model for utilization of computer education in elementary school which is showing regional difference based on former studies. This study will be helpful in substantiating of computer education in elementary schools in the future.
