Optimization of Dispatching Strategies for Stacking Cranes Including Remarshaling Jobs (재정돈을 포함한 장치장 크레인의 작업 할당 전략 최적화)

  • In container terminals, stacking yard is the place where import and export containers are temporarily stored before being loaded onto or after being discharged from a ship. Since all the containers go through the stacking yard in their logistic flow, the productivity of the terminal critically depends on efficient operation of stacking yard, which again depends on how well the stacking locations of the incoming containers are determined. However, a good location for stacking an incoming container later can turn out to be a bad one when that container is to be fetched out of the stacking yard, especially if some rehandling is required. This means that good locations for the containers are changing over time. Therefore, in most container terminals, the so-called remarshaling is done to move the containers from bad location to good locations. Although there are many previous works on remarshaling, they all assume that the remarshaling can be done separately from the main jobs when the cranes are idle for rather a long period of time. However, in reality, cranes are hardly available for a period long enough for remarshaling. This paper proposes a crane dispatching strategy that allows remarshaling jobs to be mixed together with the main jobs whenever an opportunity is detected. Experimental results by simulation reveals that the proposed method effectively contributes to the improvement of terminal productivity.

SDINS Closed Loop Self-Alignment Algorithm using Pseudo Initial Position (가상의 초기위치를 이용한 SDINS 폐루프 자체 정렬 알고리즘)

  • Inertial Navigation System Alignment is the process to determine direction cosine matrix which is the transformation matrix between the INS body frame and navigation frame. INS initial position value is necessary to INS attitude calculation, so that user should wait until he get such value to start the INS alignment. To remove the waiting time, we propose an alignment algorithm that immediately starts after the INS power on by using pseudo initial position input and then is completed with attitude error compensation by entering true position later. We analyse effect of INS sensor error on attitude in process of time and verify the performance and usefulness of the close-loop alignment algorithm which corrects attitude error from the change of initial position.

CFD analysis of CO detecting device in household gas boiler (가정용 가스 보일러 CO발생 검지 장치 전산해석)

  • 본 연구는 가정용 가스 보일러의 배기가스 유동특성을 전산유체역학을 이용하여 정밀 분석하고 CO 검지 장치의 최적화 설계를 결정하는 것을 목적으로, CFD 상용코드 FLUENT 6.2를 이용하였다. 배기가스 포집위치에서 가스 유속의 균일성과 CO농도 검출기에서의 속도가 주요 성능 인자이며 포집기의 위치, 포집구멍의 크기 및 배기가스의 유량을 주요 변수로 선택하였다. 포집기의 위치는 배기부의 상부와 하부인 두가지의 경우이고 두 경우의 배관 높이 차이는 10 mm이다. 포집구멍의 직경 변화는 3 mm, 4 mm 및 5 mm인 세가지 경우이다. 마지막 변수인 배기가스의 유입속도는 20,000 kcal/hr용량의 k사 가스 보일러가 공기비 1.1일 경우에 정상 연소시 0.5 m/s임을 알았고 저부하와 고부하일 경우를 고려해서 0.3 m/s, 0.5 m/s 및 0.7 m/s의 세가지 경우를 변수로 결정하여 총 18가지 형태의 대상을 전산유체 역학을 통해서 분석하였다. 궁극적인 목표였던 배기가스의 균일성은 한가지 경우를 제외 하고는 만족할만한 결과를 얻었기 때문에 CO검지 장치가 위치할 곳에서의 속도 및 포집구멍의 크기가 CO농도 검출기 유속의 주요 인자라 할 수 있다. 결론적으로 포집구멍의 크기가 5 mm인 6가지 경우 중에서 두가지 경우는 검지장치의 유효속도를 초과하였고 포집구멍의 크기가 3 mm인 경우는 검지장치의 유입 속도가 상대적으로 작으므로 포집구멍의 크기는 4 mm가 적합한 것으로 판단하였다.

  • 3D 디스플레이 장치는 디스플레이 장치의 시점 수에 따라 다시점 디스플레이 장치 및 스테레오 디스플레이 장치로 구분할 수 있다. 스테레오 디스플레이 장치는 좌우 두 개의 영상을 디스플레이 방식에 따라 영상포맷을 변경하여 디스플레이에 보여지고 다시점 디스플레이는 두 개 이상의 영상 데이터를 포함하는 것으로 구분할 수 있다. 영상의 화질문제로 인하여 최근 3DTV는 스테레오 방식을 사용하고 있으며 대기업에서 양산하고 있는 기술이다. 스테레오 방식에서는 개인용 단말의 경우 사용자의 위치 및 눈의 위치에 따라 깊이감을 달리 보여주는 장치가 개발되고 있어 이에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 이와같은 기술의 흐름에 맞춰 3D 디스플레이 장치를 위한 눈 추적 알고리즘을 구현하였다. 본 논문에는 카메라에서 입력되는 영상에서 얼굴영역을 Haar training 방법을 통하여 추출하였으며 PCA 방법을 통하여 눈 영역을 추출하였다. 알고리즘의 복잡도로 인하여 연산량을 줄이기 위하여 Downsampling 방법을 활용하여 연산량을 약 26% 감소시켰다. 본 연구 결과를 통하여 얼굴 및 눈 추적 알고리즘 구현시 최적화를 위하여 필요한 프로세스를 예측할 수 있다.

  • The seismic isolation system reduces the seismic vibration that is transmitted from foundation to upper structure. This seismic isolation system can be classified into base isolation and mid-story isolation by the installation location. In this study, the seismic behavior of arch structure with mid-story isolation is analyzed to verify the effect of seismic isolation. Mid-story isolation is more effective than base isolation to reduce the seismic responses of roof structure. Also, this isolation would be excellent in structural characteristics and construction.

  • A compact ESP of two-stage type is widely used with positive corona discharge in working environment where the production of ozone is extreamly prohibited. Since there are few scientific reports on a compact ESP, we have investigated the fundamental characteristics of a two-stage ESP. A model two-stage ESP is made with simple structure in order to simplify theoretical analysis and the relative position of the ionizer and collector section can be changed. The experimental investigation revealed many interesting facts.: The electric field in the collector electrodes affects the corona discharge of the ionizer. The concentration of particles after collector remarkably varied in the region between the high voltage and grounded electrodes. The collection efficiency right behind the high voltage electrode is much greater than that behind the grounded one. The total collection efficiency, calculated by integrating the particle concentration in whole measuring region, is greater when the high voltage electrode of the collector is located behind the discharge electrode of ionizer. Thus, the relative position of the ionizer and collector electrodes affects the precipitation characteristics.

  • In this paper, the analysis results of synthetic resonance characteristics are described for the electrohydraulic thrust vector control actuation system. The synthetic resonance is induced by integration of position servo actuation system on the flexible launch vehicle mounting structure. The new resonance mode is synthesized due to composition of hydraulic resonance for electrohydraulic position servo system with inertia load condition and structural resonance for flexible mounting structure. This synthetic resonance can make stability of control system worse by feedback and amplification of control system. The exact nonlinear analysis model of this phenomenon is developed to predict and design a control algorithm for improvement characteristics. The DPF (Dynamic Pressure Feedback) control algorithm has been designed and has excellent resonance suppression capability.

  • Success or failure of the bi-directional pile load test for drilled shaft depends on point selection for loading cells, that is balanced location both uplift force and downward force. Methods to evaluate the ultimate unit side resistance in rockmass layer in both domestic and foreign are based on the uniaxial compression strength of rock core, which can hardly be obtained in domestic rockmass layers which are weathered rockmass layer and soft rockmass layer with very low RQD. Therefore, this study suggested the relation charts between the revised SPT N values and developed unit side resistance of each different layers, which were obtained from bi-directional pile load tests in various domestic sites. To evaluate the appropriateness of the relation charts, the developed unit side resistances from the relation charts were used to select the loading cell position and compared with the measured unit side resistances from field pile load test. Results showed that the developed side resistance from relation charts and the measured side resistance of weathered soil layer and weathered rock layer were very close. Average developed side resistance($1,325kN/m^2$), which are average of upper soft rock layer of loading device($1,151kN/m^2$) and lower($1,500kN/m^2$), was similar with the estimated value ($1,250kN/m^2$).

  • In this paper, we propose multiple location error compensation algorithm for GPS/INS fusion using kalman filter and introduce the way to reduce location error in 9-axis navigation devices for implementing inertial navigation technique. When evaluating location, there is an increase of location error. So navigation systems need robust algorithms to compensate location error in GPS/INS fusion. In order to improve robustness of 9-axis inertial sensor(mpu-9150) over its disturbance, we used tilt compensation method using compensation algorithm of acceleration sensor and Yaw angle compensation to have exact azimuth information of the object. And it shows improved location result using these methods combined with kalman filter.

  • The purpose of this paper is to provider an indoor location measuring method, apparatus and Service available for mobile wireless network. This paper introduces positioning technology such as Basic Technology Element and QoS(Quality of Service) etc. of WPS(WiFi Positioning System) for mobile wireless network. An apparatus for sectionalizing an indoor area for indoor location measurement includes several steps. For example, a sector number input step, a sectionalization calculating step, a storing unit step etc. Also, This paper show advance Indoor positioning result.
