현재 선천적인 청각장애인이나 언어 장애가 있는 사람은 다른 사람과의 대화에 많은 불편을 겪고 있다. 매장을 이용하기 어려움은 물론 언어전달 능력이 떨어지기 때문에 간단한 의사소통을 통한 서로 간의 교류 또한 불편함을 감수해야 한다. 현재는 따로 디스플레이가 내장된 장치를 이용하여 지정된 장소에서 수화를 번역해야 하는 불편함을 해당 문제 해결을 위해 본 연구에서는 딥러닝을 적용하여 수화를 인식하고 번역하여 디스플레이에 텍스트를 출력해주는 시스템을 개발하였다. AI 프레임워크 MediaPipe와 SVM 알고리즘을 라즈베리파이에 적용하여 구현하였다. 개발한 시스템은 제스처에 대한 번역 결과를 제공한다. 기존의 지정된 장소가 아닌 대화가 필요한 모든 장소에서 번역이 가능하도록 개선하여 청각장애인과 언어장애가 있는 사람들과 소통의 불편함을 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대할 수 있다.

Statement of problem: In spite of increasing dental treatment for the disabled, there was no collected data on prosthodontic treatment status and dentists' perceptions in Korea. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to research the dentists' perceptions about current prosthodontic treatment status for the disabled in Korea and to suggest public health policies for the disabled. Material and methods: Total of 68 dentists who have regularly treated the disabled were asked to fill questionnaires regarding prosthodontic treatment for the disabled. Results: 1. 45.6% of dentists felt the necessity of an esthetic prosthesis for the disabled. However, 54.3% of dentists reported the improvement of access to implant,orthodontic and esthetic treatment is needed. 2. Most (79.4%) of the dentists thought it is imperative for the government to support the disabled to maintain adequate oral health by providing at least 50% of charge in their prosthesis. Conclusion: Through this research, 97.1% of dentists answered that the current prosthodontic treatment status for the disabled in Korea is poor. This indicated the necessity of the financial support from the government for the disabled.

본 논문에서는 시각장애인의 안내견을 위한 인공지능을 활용한 객체 인식 기반 과속 탐지 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이는 안내견이 도로 상에서 이동용 장치를 인식하는 것을 도와줌으로써 위험 요소 탐지 능력을 향상시킬 수 있고, 시각장애인의 안전을 보장할 수 있다. 인식 시스템은 Yolov5를 활용하여 사물 학습 과정을 진행하였고, 이동용 물체의 인식 과정을 통해 속도 측정 및 주변 위험 요소를 구분하여 판단하게 하였다. 판단된 정보는 안내견에게 교육된 신호로 전달되고, 시각장애인을 안전하게 인솔하여 도로상의 사고를 사전에 예방할 것으로 기대된다.

This study was performed to utilize for foundation data of research related nursing communication and developing nursing intervention by examining the relationship between nurses' perception of the elderly and communication. This study is a descriptive research using a set of questionnaires that examines the relationship between nurses who provide care to the elderly by confirming their perception of the elderly, communication difficulties with the elderly, communication behavior, and satisfaction with communication. After IRB approval, data were collected either face-to-face survey or by online survey. A total of 292 nurses participated in this study. The collected data were analyzed as descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA, Duncan test and Pearson's Correlation Coefficients, Multiple Regression Analysis by using SPSS/WIN 26 program. As a result, a significant correlation was identified between perception of the elderly and communication disorders, communication behavior, and communication satisfaction. We found that nurses who had more positive perceptions about the elderly had less communication disorders, better communication behaviors, and higher communication satisfaction with the elderly. From this result, we suggest that nurses caring for the elderly should receive education on communication methods with elderly to improve their perception. Furthermore, we suggest future studies to improve nurse's perception of the elderly and communication.

최근 IT기술의 비약적인 발전과 더불어 사용자의 편의성을 극대화 시키는 웨어러블 컴퓨팅 기술이 주목을 받고 있다. 이러한 기술은 일반인뿐만 아니라 장애인들의 일상생활의 보조 도구에 활용되어 큰 도움이 될 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 시각 및 청각장애인을 위해 개발된 착용형 단말기들을 소개하고자 한다. 시각 장애인용 단말기인 SmartWand는 시각장애인용 지팡이에 부착하거나 손에 휴대할 수 있는 장치로, 시작장애인을 위한 보행 보조 및 색상과 명암 정보 인식 보조 기능을 갖춘 장치이다. SmarWand는 시각장애인이 보행 시 이용하는 기존의 지팡이로는 감지할 수 없는 전방의 장애물을 초음파 센서를 통해 탐지하여 촉각이나 음성으로 경고해주고, 물체의 색깔이나 주변의 밝기 정도를 측정하여 시각장애인에게 알려준다. 청각 장애인용 단말기인 SmarWatch는 손목에 착용하는 장치로서 아기 울음소리, 노크나 초인종 소리, 물 끓는 소리, 화재 경보 등 가정에서 발생하는 일상적인 소리를 인식할 수 있도록 해준다. SmartWatch는 입력 모듈의 마이크로 입력된 소리를 문선통신을 통해 컴퓨터로 전송한 후에 소리의 종류를 인식하고 적절한 제어신호를 다시 무선통신을 통해 전송받아 감지된 소리의 종류를 해당하는 진동과 시각정보로 표시해준다. 이런 착용형 단말기들을 통해 시각 및 청각 장애인의 일상 생활의 안정성과 편의성이 증대 되기를 기대한다.

현대인에게 있어서 피할 수 없는 스트레스. 이 스트레스로 인해 현대인들은 신체적인 건강뿐만 아니라 우울증 등의 정신건강까지 위협을 받고 있으나 정신과라는 좋지 않은 인식으로 인해 정신건강은 제대로 치료되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 하지만 양극성 장애(조울증)를 앓고 있다면 이야기가 좀 달라져야 한다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect the disability prevention program by spinal cord injury lecturer for elementary school students. 1,167 students participated and data were analyzed using Wilcoxon signed-rank test by SPSS 22.0 program and qualitative analysis. The disability prevention program was a 40minutes, program composed of cause of disability, watching cases of accidents, story of disabled lecturer. The result showed that there were significant improvements in self-efficacy(Z=-26.109, p<.01) and awareness for the disabled. This study suggests that the disability prevention program by disabled lecturer had a positive effect on elementary school students. So the program should be expanded for children.

This study aimed to understand the child rearing burden of mothers of youth with developmental disabilities and mothers' inner growth through their rearing experiences. The researchers conducted focus group interviews using the 'photovoice' method and individual interviews with a mothers' group of an orchestra whose members are youth with developmental disabilities. The data were qualitatively analyzed applying systematic content analysis. The results revealed that the lives of mothers of children with developmental disabilities were framed as 'keeping walking, even it's invisible', and their experiences were summed up by the phrase 'coming together and growing with their children.' Although the mothers of children with developmental disabilities experienced distress and difficulties, they also experienced joy and growth while parenting their children. Their children's participation in the orchestra were associated with changes in the mothers' perceptions of their children as well as their self-perceptions as caregivers, and the relationships with the support systems. Based on these findings, the implications of this study for social welfare practice were discussed.

The purpose of this study was to identify perception of mental health recovery of mentally disordered offenders hospitalized at the national forensic psychiatric hospital. The participants were 91 mentally disordered offenders hospitalized at the national forensic psychiatric hospital in C province. The participants were provided with a written questionnaire about mental health recovery so that they could freely describe it, and collected data were analyzed by two researchers according to Krippendorff's content analysis method. As a result, meaning of mental health recovery were derived from 4 categories and 17 themes, and four categories were 'liberate from psychiatric symptoms', 'stable daily and social life is possible', 'living a hopeful and meaningful life' and 'life without crime after discharge'. mental health recovery facilitators and barriers were derived from 4 categories and 14 themes, 'treatment factors', 'personal factors', 'interpersonal factors' and 'environmental factors'. The results of this study can be used as basic data for education and intervention development for mental health recovery of mentally disordered offenders at the national forensic psychiatric hospital.

As the number and diversity of educational services increases rapidly on the Internet, we are faced with some service availability problems including persistent service monitoring and fault tolerancy. In this paper, we implemented a service monitoring & fault management system to enhance this availability and reduce administration cost of WBI system. In order to validate our system, we also illustrated an effective real-time monitoring and automatic fault announcement & recovery from our experiences in a real world WBI environment.
