User Perception of Olfactory Information and Classification of Videos for Reality Improvement (영상실감을 위한 후각정보에 대한 사용자 지각과 영상분류)

  • 영상실감증대를 위한 시각, 청각정보의 제시방식에 대해서는 많은 진보가 이루어 졌다. 반면 후각은 정의하기 어렵고 다루기 까다롭기 때문에 관련연구를 찾아보기 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 후각정보를 통한 영상실감증대 연구의 첫걸음으로 후각정보에 대한 사용자 수용도를 조사한 후 이에 근거하여 다양한 영상을 분류하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 영상에 냄새가 존재하는지 (냄새존재여부), 영상과 함께 해당 냄새를 경험하고 싶은지 (냄새제시선호), 영상에 어울리는 냄새가 내가 좋아하는 냄새인지 (냄새자체선호), 그리고 영상에 어울리는 냄새가 얼마나 구체적인지 (냄새의 구체성)라는 네 가지 질문을 선정하였다. 각 질문들에 높은 혹은 낮은 점수를 받을 만한 다양한 장르의 영상 (51)개를 수집한 후, 참가자들에게 하나씩 영상을 시청하게 한 후 위의 네 가지 질문에 대해 7점 척도로 평정하게 하였다. 영상분류를 위해 두 질문씩 쌍으로 묶어 각 질문의 척도를 2차원 평면의 X, Y축으로 설정한 후 평정값을 이용하여 영상분류를 위한 산포도를 구성하였다. 2차원 평면의 서로 다른 사분면에 위치한 영상군집들은 영상실감증대를 위한 후각정보 제시에 중요한 시사점을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

  • 수사구조는 텍스트의 각 구성 성분이 맺고 있는 관계를 의미하며, 필자의 의도는 논리적인 구조를 통해서 독자에게 더 잘 전달될 수 있다. 따라서 독자의 인지적 효과를 극대화할 수 있도록 수사구조를 고려하여 단락과 문장 구조를 구성하는 것이 필요하다. 그럼에도 불구하고 지금까지 수사구조에 기초한 한국어 분류체계를 만들거나 주석 코퍼스를 설계하려는 시도가 없었다. 본 연구에서는 기존 수사구조 이론을 기반으로, 한국어 보도문 형식에 적합한 30개 유형의 분류체계를 정제하고 최소 담화 단위별로 태깅한 코퍼스를 구축하였다. 또한 구축한 코퍼스를 토대로 중심문장을 비롯한 문장 구조의 특징과 분포 비율, 신문기사의 장르적 특성 등을 살펴봄으로써 텍스트에서 응집성의 실현 양상과 구문상의 특징을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 한국어 담화 구문에 적합한 수사구조 분류체계를 설계하고 이를 이용한 주석 코퍼스를 최초로 구축하였다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

A Study on Montage and Expression Styles in Cut-scenes of Mobile Game (모바일 게임 컷신의 몽타주와 표현 양식 연구)

  • The background of this study is the trend in which the genres of mobile games are becoming diverse based on advanced smart devices. However, since cut-scenes are still being regarded as somewhat unnecessary elements in digital games, this study seeks to suggest the functions and range of uses of cut-scenes. The scope of this study is to make classifications for the range of uses of cut-scenes in commercialized mobile games according to the genre, and investigate the characteristics of visual expression to create a frame for communicative styles of mobile games. The result of study was that different styles were identified regarding the use of cut-scenes in mobile games just as in existing digital games, however diverse attempts are not yet being made as in early digital games. Future study needs to be carried out on communication styles that match the characteristics of mobile game platforms, in which a module that can be applied in the introduction of a new platform is required.

  • The development of information technology introduced digital contents and Social Network Services(SNS), and allowed the virtual transaction and communication between users called "the experience knowledge" advanced from "the objective knowledge." This paper will analyze interactive storytelling system creating different types of stories on narrative genre about family history, personal history and so on. Through analysis on narrative interviews, direct observations, documentations and visual records, contents about CEO story, corporate story, family story and especially family history will be categorized into sampleDB and informationDB. Accumulated contents will allow the user to increase the value and usage of the contents through interactive storytelling system by restructuring the contents on family history. This research has developed writing tool data model using different digital contents such as texts, images and pictures to encourage open communications between first generations and third generations in Korea. Furthermore, researched about connected system on interactive storytelling creation device using various genre of family story that has been data based.

  • The active use of motion graphic in the production of digital movies contents is a significant way to deliver the contents' messages clearly and intensely. The analysis of film expression characters of digital movies contents based on the motion effect provides a good tool to present an effective method for the production of films using motion graphic. Motion graphic, which can animate motionless movies and graphic images dynamically, is now used as an excellent tool in the editing of digital movies. So, this study aims to show systematically the expression characters of digital movies contents by using the production of films of motion graphic. It also aims to suggest an efficient production of films by analyzing major contents produced with motion graphic and after that examining their types and skills according to the genres and times.

  • Mobile music market is growing. However, services what are applied recently are inaccurate to recommend music that a user is worth to prefer. So, this paper suggests music recommend system. This system recommend music that users prefer analyzing music information and user's musical propensity and using collaborative filtering. This system classify genre and extract factors what can be get using STFT's ZCR, Spectral roll-off, Spectral flux. So similar musics are clustered by these factors. And then, after divide mood of music's lyric, it finally recommend music automatically using collaborative filtering.

  • 협업필터링 방법은 가장 일반적으로 사용되는 추천 시스템이다. 그런데 협업필터링 방법은 희박성, 확장성 그리고 투명성 등의 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 개인 성향 중 장르, 성격, 나이, 성별, 혈액형, 지역 등을 고려하여 희박성 문제를 개선한 영화 추천 시스템을 제시한다. 즉, 개인 성향 정보에 따라 가장 성향이 비슷한 사용자들을 분류하고, 그 분류된 정보를 이용하여 개인에게 가장 적합한 개선된 영화추천 기법을 제안한다.

Advanced Multistage Feature-based Classification Model (진보된 다단계 특징벡터 기반의 분류기 모델)

  • An advanced form of Multistage Feature-based Classification Model(AMFCM), called AMFCM, is proposed in this paper. AMFCM like MFCM does not use the concatenated form of available feature vectors extracted from original data to classify each data, but uses only groups related to each feature vector to classify separately. The prpposed AMFCM improves the contribution rate used in MFCM and proposes a confusion table for each local classifier using a specific feature vector group. The confusion table for each local classifier contains accuracy information of each local classifier on each class of data. The proposed AMFCM is applied to the problem of music genre classification on a set of music data. The results demonstrate that the proposed AMFCM outperforms MFCM by 8% - 15% on average in terms of classification accuracy depending on the grouping algorithms used for local classifiers and the number of clusters.

Emotion Transition Model based Music Classification Scheme for Music Recommendation (음악 추천을 위한 감정 전이 모델 기반의 음악 분류 기법)

  • So far, many researches have been done to retrieve music information using static classification descriptors such as genre and mood. Since static classification descriptors are based on diverse content-based musical features, they are effective in retrieving similar music in terms of such features. However, human emotion or mood transition triggered by music enables more effective and sophisticated query in music retrieval. So far, few works have been done to evaluate the effect of human mood transition by music. Using formal representation of such mood transitions, we can provide personalized service more effectively in the new applications such as music recommendation. In this paper, we first propose our Emotion State Transition Model (ESTM) for describing human mood transition by music and then describe a music classification and recommendation scheme based on the ESTM. In the experiment, diverse content-based features were extracted from music clips, dimensionally reduced by NMF (Non-negative Matrix Factorization, and classified by SVM (Support Vector Machine). In the performance analysis, we achieved average accuracy 67.54% and maximum accuracy 87.78%.

A Study on the Improvement and Application of KDC 6th ed. for Classifying the Children's Books (어린이도서 분류를 위한 KDC 6판 개선 및 적용 방안에 관한 연구)

  • This study was to suggest the improvement and the application of KDC 6 for classifying children's books by the literature review and survey. First, it was suggested to shorten the classification numbers by the divisions and subdivisions and to expand the classification numbers by sub-subdivisions according to the library-specific classification policy, using the subject statistics of the children's books held by 20 public libraries affiliated in Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and representative C libraries. Second, the knowledge picture books and the fairy tales were suggested to be classified according to its subject, and the fairy tales in each country were suggested to be classified by adding sub-subdivisions and genre subdivisions. Third, it was suggested to shelve by collection and location codes that were distinguished by the ages and the reading level for user, to prepare a standard guideline for shelving, and to implement the regular user education about the classification system. This study could contribute to the development of the KDC abridged version for children's books in the future.
