Estimation of Aggregate Matching Function in Korea (한국의 구인·구직 매칭함수 추정)

  • The aggregate matching function is estimated to explain dynamics among job seekers, vacancies and new hires in Korea. Due to measurement errors inherent in vacancies data, I introduce a latent variable for job openings and use the instrumental variables to correct its endogeneity. Matching efficiency is also estimated using some explanatory variables like job seekers' characteristics and public employment services. The result shows that Korea's matching function also exhibits a constant returns to scale.

  • 본 연구는 은퇴 후 신체적 건강이 시간이 지남에 따라 어떤 변화양상을 나타내는지, 은퇴 후 신체적 건강에 영향을 주는 것으로 알려진 은퇴 특성(은퇴시점, 은퇴자발성 여부) 변인이 은퇴 후 신체적 건강의 궤적에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고자 하는 목적으로 실시되었다. 분석 자료는 국민노후보장패널 3차시(2009년), 4차시(2011년), 5차시(2013년) 종단자료이며, 2,857명을 대상으로 잠재성장모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 중 고령은퇴자의 신체적 건강은 시간의 흐름의 변화를 알아보기 위해 무조건부 모형을 통해 확인한 결과, 중 고령은퇴자들은 시간이 지남에 따라 더 높은 수준의 ADL 값을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중 고령은퇴자의 신체적 건강변화와 관련이 있는 은퇴특성은 무엇인지 조건부 모형을 통해 알아본 결과, 은퇴 특성 변수로는 조기은퇴자일 때, 은퇴가 비자발적일 때, 건강상 이유로 은퇴했을 때 더 높은 ADL 초기값을 보였다. 또한 변화궤적 영향요인을 살펴본 결과, 은퇴특성에서는 어떤 변수도 유의성을 보이지 않았고, 인구사회학적 변수 중에서는 연령이 높을수록, 소득이 높을수록 ADL의 증가속도가 더욱 가파른 것으로 나타났다.

  • 최근 우리나라는 가계신용의 급신장과 신용불량의 급증 등으로 개인 신용부문이 금융기관의 건전성 유지에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 이러한 잠재적 문제를 사전에 방지하기 위해 금융기관 등에서는 개인 신용평가에 대한 수요가 커지고 있는 실정이다. 주어진 데이터로부터의 반복적인 학습 과정을 거쳐 패턴을 분류하고 또한 모델과 학습 방법에 따라 입력변수와 목적변수의 속성이 연속형이나 이산형인 경우를 모두 다룰 수 있는 신경망 모델은 개개인의 다양하고 복잡한 데이터를 입력변수로 받아서 신용등급을 나누는데 우수한 능력을 보여줄 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 신경망 모델을 이용해 개인의 신용등급을 객관적이고 일률적으로 평가해서 등급을 나누어주는 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다.

  • 최근 첨단기술의 발달로 인해 기존의 생산업들보다 고 부가 가치를 이끌어 낼 수 있는 아이디어의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 이러한 점에서 창업은 참신한 아이디어로 고 부가 가치를 이끌어 낼 수 있다는 점에서 중요하다 할 수 있고 국가의 정책적으로도 많은 창업을 이끌어 내려는 노력이 이어지고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 창업 중 스포츠 창업의 분야에서 체육동호인의 개인적 특성 요인이 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하며, 이러한 관계에 창업에 대한 자기효능감 요인의 조절효과 영향에 대하여 밝히고자 한다. 창업의지의 결정 요인으로서 개인적 특성 요인과 네트워크 요인, 창업지원 인식 요인이 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였으며, 이 요인들은 창업효능감의 조절로 인하여 더욱 활동력이 강화될 것으로 보고 창업효능감의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 독립변수로 잠재적 창업자의 개인적 특성 요인(성취욕구, 위험감수성향, 혁신성), 네트워크 요인(온라인 교류, 오프라인교류), 창업지원 인식 요인(동호회 창업지원 인식, 정부 창업지원 인식), 조절변수로는 창업효능감, 종속변수로는 창업의지의 내용으로 연구모형을 구성하였다.

  • 기존의 하천개수사업 치수경제성분석에서는 홍수피해경감편익 산정시 계획홍수위 이하의 홍수에 대해서 제방이 완벽히 방어한다는 가정 하에 제방으로 인한 피해경감액을 편익으로 산정하고 있다. 그러나 전통적 빈도해석 방법 및 수리수문 모형에 내재된 매개변수 불확실성으로 인하여 특정 하천구간에서 산정된 계획빈도 이하의 홍수위가 제방고에 해당하는 임계사상을 초과할 수도, 반대로 계획빈도 이상의 홍수위가 임계사상을 초과하지 않을 가능성도 있다. 이러한 불확실성은 수공구조물의 붕괴에 대한 잠재성을 가진 중요한 요인으로도 작용한다. 본 연구는 이러한 잠재적 위험도를 제방 월류위험도로 정의하고 이를 Bayesian MCMC에 의해 산정하는 방법을 제시하였다. 제시된 방법론은 4대강살리기사업 전 후에 대해 적용하였으며, 계획홍수위 저하에 따른 잠재적 홍수위험 감소 효과를 정량적으로 나타낼 수 있었다. 월류 위험도는 빈도별 홍수피해액의 피해발생 확률로서도 적용될 수 있으며, 이는 물리적 침수구역 설정의 어려움에 따른 홍수피해액 과다산정 문제 해결의 대안으로서도 의미가 있다.

Motion Style Transfer using Variational Autoencoder (변형 자동 인코더를 활용한 모션 스타일 이전)

  • In this paper, we propose a framework that transfers the information of style motions to content motions based on a variational autoencoder network combined with a style encoding in the latent space. Because we transfer a style to a content motion that is sampled from a variational autoencoder, we can increase the diversity of existing motion data. In addition, we can improve the unnatural motions caused by decoding a new latent variable from style transfer. That improvement was achieved by additionally using the velocity information of motions when generating next frames.

Assessment of Potential Distribution Possibility of the Warm-Temperate Woody Plants of East Asia in Korea (한국에서 동아시아 난대 목본식물의 잠재분포 가능성 평가)

  • The prediction of changes regarding the distribution of vegetation and plant species according to climate changes is important for ecosystem management. In this study, we attempted to develop an assessment method to evaluate the possibility of the potential distribution of warm-temperate woody plant species of East Asia in Korea. To begin with, a list of warm-temperate woody plants distributed in China and Japan, but not in Korea, was prepared, and a database consisting their global distribution and bioclimatic variables was constructed. In addition, the warm-temperate vegetation zone in Korea was delineated using the coldness index and relevant bioclimatic data were collected. After the exclusion of multicollinearity among bioclimatic variables using correlation analysis, mean temperature of the coldest quarter, mean temperature diurnal range, and annual precipitation were selected as the major variables that influence the distribution of warm-temperate plants. A multivariate environment similarity surfaces (MESS) analysis was conducted to calculate the similarity scores between the distribution of these three bioclimatic variables in the global distribution sites of the East Asian warm-temperate woody plants and the Korean warm-temperate vegetation zone. Finally, using stepwise variable-selection regression, the mean temperature of the coldest quarter and annual precipitation were selected as the main bioclimatic variables that affect the MESS similarity index. The mean temperature of the coldest quarter accounted for 88% of the total variance. For a total of 319 East Asian warm-temperate woody plant species, the possibility of their potential distribution in Korea was evaluated by applying the constructed multivariate regression model that calculates the MESS similarity index.

A Study on Attitudes and Acceptance of Port Digital Transformation (항만 디지털 전환에 대한 수용태도와 수용성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to derive factors that affect the acceptance of digital transformation in ports and empirically analyze the impact of these factors on the acceptance of digital transformation through a survey of port workers. Additionally, we test whether acceptance attitude plays a mediating role in the relationship between these factors and digital transformation acceptance. The variables used in this study are as follows. First, knowledge, self-efficacy, and involvement were included as variables related to individual characteristics, relative advantages, complexity, observability were included as variables related to innovation characteristics, and government regulations and competitor pressure were included as variables relate to environmental characteristics, so that a total of eight latent variables were selected. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, two variables among individual characteristics, self-efficacy and involvement, were able to confirm a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation, and knowledge initially expected a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation, but the result was a negative(-) causal relationship, so that the hypothesis was rejected. Second, among the characteristics of innovation, complexity has a negative(-) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation, and relative advantages and technological innovation have a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation. Finally, among the environmental characteristics, government regulations and competitor pressure, confirmed a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation. In addition, it was found that the attitude of accepting digital transformation had a positive(+) causal relationship with personal acceptance and social acceptance of digital transformation.

Effects on Entrepreneurial Intention by Start-up Environment and Self-efficacy Mediated by Fear of Business Failure (창업 환경 및 인식이 사업실패부담감을 매개로 창업의지에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is firstly, to find out the factors of entrepreneurial intention in potential entrepreneurs, and secondly to examine the relationship between objective start-up environment and subjective recognition of start-up environment, and entrepreneurial intention. For this study, investigation has been done to find out if fear of business failure, that is notoriously high among Koreans, acts as an influential factor between objective start-up environment/subjective recognition of start-up environment and entrepreneurial intention. The data is collected from 335 respondents comprised of college students and adults who are interested in starting their own businesses. The results of this study are as follows : (1) Objective start-up environment and subjective recognition of start-up environment, which is self-efficacy, have a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. (2) Fear of business failure mediates the relationship between objective start-up environment/subjective recognition of start-up environment, and entrepreneurial intention (3) Child-care system, as an explain variable in the objective start-up environment in this study, is an important factor in the process of entrepreneurial commitment.

Organizational Justice as the Antecedent of Career Satisfaction: Building a Conceptual Model from an Integrative Literature Review (경력만족의 선행변인으로서의 조직공정성: 통합적 문헌연구를 통한 개념적 모델 도출)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore organizational justice (distributive, procedural, and interactional justice) as the antecedent of and career satisfaction by conducting an integrative literature review. In addition, this study aimed to identify organizational support for career development (i.e., organizational sponsorship) as the potential mediating variable between organizational justice and career satisfaction. Based on an integrative literature review of previous research, this study proposed the conceptual model on the relationship between organizational justice and career satisfaction along with organizational support for career development. According to the conceptual model, organizational justice can add to the pool of important antecedents of career satisfaction, and organizational support for career development could mediate the relationship between organizational justice and career satisfaction. This study contributed to the human resource development (HRD) field through investigating the relationship between organizational justice and career satisfaction in a career development context in the workplace. Further, this study provided additional theoretical backgrounds to conduct organizational justice related research on diverse factors, such as potential mediating variables, influencing career satisfaction.
