The coronavirus infection-19 (hereinafter referred to as Corona 19) that occurred last year has not been ended until now. There have also been major changes in the library environment. This study focuses on changes in the library environment due to prolonged infectious diseases. In addition, it aims to derive implications for library services in the New Normal era by analyzing changes in user needs over time. For this purpose, we have comprehensively summarized the response activities of libraries due to the spread of Corona 19 in 2020, and analyzed changes in user needs that appeared on social media. Key terms were selected by collecting 496,741 tweets related to libraries in 2019 and 2020, and analysis by year and period by operation type was conducted. Through the analysis, the needs of library users in 2020 were classified into four issues, and the implications for each issue were derived.

먼 미래의 기술로만 여겨졌던 홀로그래피 기술이 모두의 기대보다 빨리 현실로 도래할지 모른다는 전망이 종종 등장하고 있으나 우리의 기술적 현실에는 아직 해결해야 할 어려운 숙제들이 산적해 있다. 그러나 응용 분야의 특성과 디지털 홀로그래피 기술의 특성을 고려하여 우선 상용화 추진이 가능한 유망 분야를 도출한다면 디지털 홀로그래피로의 진화를 용이하게 할 것이다. 본고에서는 홀로그래피 기술의 현 주소를 짚어보고 1) 상용화를 위해 고려해야 할 사항, 2) 상용화 유망 분야, 3) 상용화 가능 시기를 도출하되, 홀로그래피 기술을 개발해온 전문가와 잠재적 이용자를 대상으로 심층 면접을 통해 정성적으로 다양한 가능성을 도출해 보고자 하였다. 또한 이들 집단 간의 의견을 비교함으로써 시사점을 도출해 보고자 하였다.

Real-time bus arrival information within the Bus Information System (BIS) is an invaluable resource for users that demand accurate and up-to-date bus headway information while waiting at a bus stop. The associated benefits of such a system come in two folds, that is to 1) resolve the psychological uncertainty caused by the lack of real-time bus arrival information and 2) empower the user waiting at bus stops with the ability to reliably coordinate various tasks and errands, such as a quick trip into a convenience store or restroom without fear of missing a bus pick-up. This paper discusses the appropriate methodology with which to measure the economic value of reliable bus arrival information, with particular emphasis on the psychological uncertainty in users associated with the lack of real-time headway information at bus stops. Data regarding bus transit users' willingness to pay for such a service is obtained through questionnaire surveys, and the Contingent Valuation Method is used to analyze and derive the associated economic value. Our findings indicate the monetary value associated with a real-time bus arrival information system is approximately 132.5 won/min at the 0.3 significance level.

Tables and figures in academic literature contain important and valuable information. Tables and figures represent the essence of the refined study, which is the closest to the raw dataset. If so, can researchers easily access and utilize these image data through the search system? In this study, we try to identify user perceptions and needs for image data through user and case studies. Through this study we also explore expected effects and utilizations of image search systems. It was found that the majority of researchers prefer a system that combines table and figure indexing functions with traditional search functions. They valued the provision of an advanced search function that would allow them to limit their searches to specific object types (pictures and tables). Overall, researchers discovered many potential uses of the system for indexing tables and figures. It has been shown to be helpful in finding special types of information for teaching, presentation, research and learning. It should be also noticed that the usefulness of these systems is highest when features are integrated into existing systems, seamlessly link to fulltexts, and include high-quality images with full captions. Expected effects and utilizations for user-centered image search systems are also discussed.

The purpose of this study is to classify the quality attributes of service quality for the elderly in public libraries, derive satisfaction coefficients and dissatisfaction coefficients, and present the priority improvement of service quality. To this end, a survey was organized with 22 questions from LibQUAL+ for elderly users who use library in uiseong-gun, gyeongsangbuk-do. Quality factors for service were classified into three areas of LibQUAL+ based on the kano model, and the satisfaction index and dissatisfaction index felt by users for each service quality were calculated through timko's customer satisfaction coefficient. Based on this, a Potential Customer Satisfaction Improvement index (PCSI index) was obtained to determine how much user satisfaction can be improved when actual requirements are met. As a result of classification of quality attributes of service quality, it was classified into 9 attractive quality, 7 one-dimensional quality, 1 indifference quality, and 5 must-be quality. In the improvement ranking for service, the first place was 'making electronic resources accessible from my home or office', the second place was 'print and/or electronic journal collections I require for my work' and the third place was 'a library web site enabling me to locate information on my'. It is expected that the study results can be used to present quality factors that should be managed and improved first when providing services for the elderly.

The records and archives center provide a variety of archival information services in an effort to get closer to the public. However, there are still some problems with regard to the lack of awareness of records and archives. In order to activate the use of archives, it is necessary to understand the users of archives. Given the problems, this study aims to investigate the awareness of records and archives in university students who are potential users of archives as well as to suggest methods to activate the use of records and archives reflecting the characteristics of university students' awareness. As such, this study surveyed 182 university students at J university. The questionnaire items referred to Market & Opinion Research International (MORI) (2003) as a part of the projects conducted by the Museums Libraries Archives Council (MLA) and Cho's study (2008). The questionnaire items consisted of four major areas: awareness of records and archives, experience with records and archives or reasons of not using them, requirements for the use of archives by potential users, and efficient method of promoting archives. As a result of the survey, most of the university students are indifferent to records. However, they recognized that it is highly important to manage records that are related to historical values and archives that are relevant to information values. In addition, they showed a positive intention to use the archives in the future; thus, it is highly likely for them to be converted into active users through appropriate services. Based on the results, this study proposed important considerations for activating the use of the archives to university students, and suggested methods to activate the archives in terms of user education, program development, and user segmentation.

As Korea enters into an aging society, the problem of information literacy against senior citizens is becoming a socioeconomic issue in Korea. Since most of the public libraries in Korea are already equipped with infrastructures for information dissemination, they may be able to solve this problem most effectively among public organizations. In this study in order to investigate senior citizen's general understanding of public library, cognizance of the programs for them. their information request levels, preferred contents, information seeking behavior, etc., 176 participants in educational programs at two senior citizens' welfare center were interviewed and surveyed with structured questionnaires. The statistical analysis of the surveyed data has shown that the senior citizen's general understanding of public library was very poor and that those under 75 years old preferred educational programs and those over 75 preferred recreational ones. Recommendations were made based on the results of the analysis.

In most of mobility enhancing plans for the transportation disabled, decisions for the investment priorities are firstly made by the facilities that have lower installation rate or lower satisfaction rate; the decisions are made without analyzing the importance factor (path loading factor) between the facility installation rate and the satisfaction rate together. In this study, a novel method of finding causality between the exogenous latent variables and the endogenous latent variables is provided by using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results show that the most influential facilities for the transportation disabled are bus stops, crosswalks and sidewalks in order. Also, a curb height around bus stops, a smoothness of sidewalks and installation of crosswalks traffic light are identified as an important facilities for the Transportation disabled.

Social TV users and content are increasing day by day. The main purpose was to study the motivation for social television users, but I felt the need to analyze the potential psychological impact of users in various content. This study analyzed the impact on psychological well-being due to the interaction and viewing satisfaction by the object relations theory factors of social TV user in Korea. A survey was conducted on students of N university, ordinary university, and ordinary people who have experience using social TV to prove the observations or experiments of empirical facts in this study. Research result, First, Nonalienation have been have a positive effect on interaction and viewing satisfaction. Second, stable attachment have been have a positive effect on interaction. Third, social competence have been have a positive effect on interaction. Fourth, interaction have been have a positive effect on viewing satisfaction and psychological well-being. Fifth viewing satisfaction have been have a positive effect on Psychological well-being. Through this, This will contribute to the development of subdivided content and user-customized services for social television, and it is necessary to reconfigure and study various events that may occur between users in the future.
