Study on the Optimum Condition of Mechanical Sowing of a Garlic (마늘 기계 파종을 위한 최적조건 구명)

  • Garlic is an important crop, accounting for 1.1 trillion won out of 3.7 trillion won for the total production of seasoned vegetables in Korea. On the other hand, the cultivation area and production volume are decreasing continuously due to the shortage of an agricultural labor force, aging, and insufficient mechanization. In particular, the mechanization of garlic sowing is barely performed, resulting in large amounts of labor. Therefore, it is necessary to study the mechanization of planting garlic. Therefore, in this study, to determine the optimal working conditions for mechanical sowing of garlic, an experiment was conducted to compare the yield according to the sowing angle and depth of garlic during sowing. After sowing using a seeding machine set under optimal conditions, the conventional work and yield were compared. The results showed that it is most appropriate to sow garlic with a sowing angle of 45° or 90° and a depth of 2 cm to 4 cm, and there is no difference in the yield between sowing with a sowing machine and conventional work.

The Effect of the Milk Yield and Performance Analysis of Robot Milking System (로봇 착유시스템의 착유성능 및 착유량에 미치는 영향)

  • The authors of this study have developed a robot milking system composed of a multi-articular manipulator, a teat-cup attachment system, and an image processing system. In order to verify the efficacy of this system, we have conducted a performance analysis and measurement experiment of milk yield, using dairy cattle. It was concluded that teat recognition using the image processing system, teat-cup attachment, and detachment system did not binder milking. The milking yield of the robot milking system was analyzed based on a lactation curve. As a result, it was determined that the use of a robot milking system had no significant effects on milking yields. The robot milking system described in this study is designed specifically with a focus on teat-cup attachment and detachment performance, as well as the effect of these factors on milking yield. In the future, in-depth studies regarding the washing of the teats prior to milking, teat massage, pre-treatment and post-treatment processes after milking, and disinfection processes shall be conducted, in order to render this system feasible for use in an actual milking parlor.

Efficient Workload Distribution of Photomosaic Using OpenCL into a Heterogeneous Computing Environment (이기종 컴퓨팅 환경에서 OpenCL을 사용한 포토모자이크 응용의 효율적인 작업부하 분배)

  • Recently, parallel processing methods with accelerator have been introduced into a high performance computing and a mobile computing. The photomosaic application can be parallelized by using inherent data parallelism and accelerator. In this paper, we propose a way to distribute the workload of the photomosaic application into a CPU and GPU heterogeneous computing environment. That is, the photomosaic application is parallelized using both CPU and GPU resource with the asynchronous mode of OpenCL, and then the optimal workload distribution rate is estimated by measuring the execution time with CPU-only and GPU-only distribution rates. The proposed approach is simple but very effective, and can be applied to parallelize other applications on a CPU and GPU heterogeneous computing environment. Based on the experimental results, we confirm that the performance is improved by 141% into a heterogeneous computing environment with the optimal workload distribution compared with using GPU-only method.

Evaluations of Swaging Process for Rotor Core of Induction Motors II (유도전동기 회전자 제작시 압입작업 평가 II)

  • This study evaluated the displacements of a Cu bar in the Y-direction and the relationship between swaging pressures and total contact forces to increase the productivity of the rotor core swaging process. Elastic-plastic numerical analyses of four different Cu bar shapes were performed with a constant swaging pressure to evaluate the displacements of the Cu bar in the Y-direction and the contact force distributions at the contact surfaces during the swaging process. Based on the numerical analysis results, the following conclusions were obtained. First, a simplified 2-dimensional cyclic symmetric analysis model was developed for the numerical analysis of the rotor core swaging process. Second, the final displacements of the Cu bar in the Y-direction were nearly the same as the change of the Cu bar size at a constant swaging pressure. Third, a linear relationship between the swaging pressures and the total contact forces, the so called resistance forces, was suggested.

  • Looking at Korea's manufacturing industry, there are many old manufacturing plants. In fact, the manufacturing process of the product inventory management and the unit price of the product are all created by using Excel, and the factory is operated by using it. Also, the operator can not predict the failure of the equipment in order to produce the product at work. Problems related to this may result in the loss of the documents during the instruction and work process between the manager and the worker, and the communication between the manager and the worker can not be properly performed, There is appear a situation in which the operation is continued by using the equipment without recognizing in the failure. In this paper, we propose a method for upgrading the aging manufacturing plant to improve the productivity and productivity of the product by predicting the efficient inventory management, unit price management, production volume, and the operator's failure prediction.

  • 포장도로의 노화로 인해 도로 표면의 평탄성이 높아지면 차량 주행 시 연료소모량이 증가하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 소형/중형/대형의 3개 승용차량에 대해 3가지 평탄도의 도로에서 40~100km/h 의 정속주행 연료소모량을 측정하여 도로 평탄성의 변화에 따른 연료소모량의 변화율을 계산할 수 있었다. 시험결과, 평탄성 증가에 따라 연료소모량이 직선적으로 증가하였으며, 평탄성에 대한 l차 직선방정식으로 연료소모량을 표현할 수 있었다. 평탄성 1m/km 증가 시 연료소모량은 약 80mL/100km 정도의 비율로 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 추후 본 시험의 결과를 이용하여 도로 노화에 따른 연료소모량 증가의 정도를 추정하여 다양한 도로 복구 작업 등에 이용하여 도로에서 발생할 수 있는 사고 예방 등에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 인간의 사고 및 행동능력은 환경부하, 작업의 내용 등 외부환경에 큰 영향을 받는다. 선박운항 시, 인간-기계시스템 환경에서 항해사의 일정한 수준 이상의 판단 및 조선능력은 안전운항을 위해 매우 중요한 요소이다. 특히 협수로 항해시, 선박통항량이 많은 해역을 항해할 경우 선교에서의 작업부하가 커지고 그로 인한 피로 및 긴장에 의한 심신 기능이 저하되어, 항해사의 조선(操船)능력에 영향을 미치게 될 것이다. 그러나 선박운항 또는 입출항 시 항해사의 생리적, 심리적 스트레스를 측정하여 계량화한 연구는 미비하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 웨어러블 심박수 측정장치를 이용하여 항해사의 심박수 변화를 측정 분석하고, 항해사의 선박 운항작업 시 발생하는 스트레스를 계량화하여 모델을 개발하기 위한 기초연구를 수행하였다.

The Worker Scheduling Scheme for Maximum Work Efficiency with Workloads Balancing Consideration (작업효율을 만족하고 작업량 평준화를 고려한 작업자할당 방법에 관한 연구)

  • The problem addressed in this paper is to minimize the deviations of workloads assigned to worker and to maximize the total utilizations(degree of skill) between workers and machines simultaneously. Each worker can handle the set of machines with the different degree of skill and each machine has the workloads needed to be processed. Also, each worker has to be assigned to at least one machine with the minimum workload deviation. This problem can be formulated as a preemptive goal programming with generalized assignment constraints. The proposed algorithm consists of two phases. First, a capacitated circulation network is constructed to assign the workers to machines with the maximum total utilizations while considering workloads balance. Then, a refinement process is applied to the split machines to satisfy the feasibility condition. The real industrial application in a plastic extrusion manufacturer is included along with several computational experiments.

  • 본 연구는 폐쇄형 대기행렬망(CQN:Closed Network of Queue)으로 표시되는 FMS 시스템의 최적 성능을 산정하는 방법과 각 작업장의 작업 부하 (Workload)를 최적화하기 위한 방법에 관한 연구이다. FMS 생산 시스템의 성능 (Performance)을 기존의 생산률(Production Rate)외에 기대생산률 (Expected Production Rate), 평균 대기작업량(Mean Queueue Length), 및 기대 투자이용률(Expected Investment Utilization Rate)과 이들 각각의 분산 (Variance)들을 고려하였다. 이러한 성과측정 문제를 수리 모델링하고 이를 이용하여 각 작업장에서의 가공 장비의 그룹(Machine Group)별 최적 작업배 분(Workload) 조건을 보였다. 또한 위의 과정을 최근의 FMS 전용 Simulator인 FACTOR/AIM을 이용한 분석 결과와 비교하여 보였다.

The Workload Assignment Problem in consideration of the Worker Pairing and the Workload Balancing (작업조 구성과 작업량 평준화를 고려한 작업할당문제에 관한 연구)

  • This research deals with a task assignment problem to worker group which consists of one master and one assistant. Each task must be assigned to only one worker group and it is possible to make a pair of each master and each assistant to organize a worker group. A worker group may have more than one task assigned to it, but the workloads of each worker group must be balanced within the allowable range. This problem can be formulated mathematically using the Mixed Integer Programming(MIP), where the objective function is to minimize the total assignment cost. A two phase heuristic algorithm is suggested in order to find approximate solutions. The first phase is to obtain an initial solution, where the initial assignment is performed to follow the workload adjustment. In the second phase, the solution is improved through the repeated process of the exchange and the assignment adjustment. Numerical experiments have been performed to evaluate the performance of the heuristic algorithm.
