Almost domestic cycleways have been established without characteristic of land uses. These cycleways can always not provide optimal condition for safety and convenience not to speak of efficiency. This research having a purpose to accomplish more safety and convenience has tried to classify cycleways detail and to analyze cycleways types by land uses. It verified the difference among the characteristic of traffic on the land uses using the Chi-square test, and found the land use that had the strongest characteristic. Finally, it has proposed the suitable cycleway types to land uses.

Recently, Interest in the riding of bicycles increased, but existing researches on the effect of bicycle facilities and the supply analysis and evaluation bike analysis of the importance of the item is most fulfilling. Those do not reflect characteristics of the region and the current satisfaction on the riding of bicycles. Therefore, this research will classify Gu Dong of Busan into good region, possible region and difficult region on the riding of bicycles to reflect characteristics of bicycles with the non-power and characteristics of riders with the main purpose of the exercise. Maintenance of bicycles classified according to the region will be decided to the Line-to-Line maintenance as to connect the main point of regions and to the Point-to-Point as to link the main point within region. Then, step-by-step bicycles activation of Busan differentiated by region offers. Also, Survey on Gangseo-Gu, Sasang-Gu, Gijang-Gun with good bicycle conditions and Busan-Jin-Gu with the best maintenance effect will be about the bicycle. The structure model of consciousness-based on the use of bicycles will be made by using Survey results and considering the region characteristics. This structure model will show a correlation of the current satisfaction, the bicycle-related facilities maintenance policy needs, region characteristics and the next intends to riding the bicycle.

In this research, the usage status and characteristics of user big data of Mobike, a dockless bike sharing service introduced in Suwon city, were analyzed, and multiple regression analysis was performed to identify factors influencing the demand for dockless bike sharing service. For analysis, usage data of bike sharing system in Suwon city in 2019 were obtained, and they were organized by areas. As a result of analyzing the characteristics of the influencing factors selected for each area, it was found that the extension of bicycle roads shows high in areas with high demand for bicycles or adjacent areas. Also, the population of 10-30's shows high in areas with high demand for bicycles or adjacent areas. In addition, it was analyzed that the use of bike sharing system is high in areas with high maintenance rate of bicycle roads and large-scale residential and commercial facilities near residential districts and adjacent areas. As a result of the multiple regression analysis, it is analyzed that length of bicycle·pedestrian roads (non-separated), population of 10-30's, number of railway stations, number of schools, number of commercial facilities, number of industrial facilities factors were significant. It is expected that it may be possible to create an environment in which citizens want to use dockless bike sharing service by identifying factors affecting the number of stationless shared bicycles. Also, the results of data analysis are considered to be contributing to policy data to promote the use of dockless bike sharing.

자전거 운전은 본질적인 불안정한 시스템으로 자전거의 안전한 운전을 위해서는 지속적인 운전자의 상호작용으로 인하여 자전거의 안전성을 확보할 수 있다. 그것은 자전거의 운전이 운전자의 운동과 매우 밀접한 연관이 있다는 것을 알 수 있으며, 현재 자전거의 특성뿐 아니라 운전자의 운전에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있지만 정확한 자전거의 주행 안정성에 대하여 연구는 계속적으로 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 자전거 운전자의 몸무게와 신장과 같은 사람의 인체 정보를 이용하여 적절한 안장 높이와 자전거 바퀴 사이의 거리 및 핸들의 높이를 조절할 수 있는 맞춤형 자전거 관리 시스템을 제시하고자 한다. 또한, 운전자 맞춤형 자전거의 설계는 실제 자전거 운전데이터와 영상데이터를 이용하여 적합한 자전거 모델을 제시하고 추출된 데이터를 통하여 분석된 결과를 제시하고자 한다.

This study analyzed the bicycle traffic patterns and identified the influence factors for each traffic purpose using the household traffic conditions survey for Seoul. The results are summarized as follows. First, as a result of surveying the bicycle traffic ratios according to the administrative dongs, there was a difference of 14.2% by region. Second, various personal characteristic variables, such as age, gender, income, occupation, and housing type, affect the bicycle mode choice, and bicycle passage increases when using facilities in residential areas. Third, among the neighborhood environments, the bicycle traffic for commuting purposes appeared to increase more in the areas of higher land use mix and lower crime rates. In addition, the bicycle road density and the inclination of the area commonly affect bicycle travel for commuting, shopping, exercising, and leisure.

The purpose of this study was to propose a policy direction to improve the service of public bicycles in Seoul by identifying the physical characteristics that affect the satisfaction level in the Seoul Metropolitan Government's public bicycle use environment. To this end, a survey was conducted on users regarding their experiences using public bicycles in Seoul, and the responses of 567 people were analyzed. IPA analysis and ordinal logistic analysis were used. An analysis of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's public bicycle IPA showed that the satisfaction level was lower than that of importance in all categories. Among them, the most urgent need for improvement was the installation of bicycle roads, improved connectivity of bicycle roads, improved road management, classification of roads and bicycle roads, improved safety during night driving, and low satisfaction levels. Second, an analysis of the factors affecting the satisfaction in the public bicycle use environment showed that the model's explanatory power increased significantly from 0.062 to 0.437 after incorporating perceived variables, confirming that the perceived neighborhood environment characteristics are an important variable for determining the satisfaction level in the public bicycle use environment, among the perceived neighborhood environmental characteristics, accessibility, convenience, manageability.

Recently active policies of bicycle in many municipalities have been selected as the main policies. And a bike-related research is a difference in the direction of research according to socially active atmosphere on a bike using. Recent the research of approaches to enable bike use according to regional characteristics focused on Busan has been conducted is differentiated. But A different approach should be considered on the small town smaller than Metropolitan. Because of the relatively small city-size bicycle can be a variety of purposes. Therefore, this study to research awareness assessment methods of these local residents on the bike use inquires to the awareness of local residents in addition to the physical condition of facilities and policies target for the dong unit of small towns with 300,000~500,000 people. Awareness assessment methods of these local residents for the revitalization of bicycle using enable the local and regional conditions of bicycle using to compare very easily and the conception on the revitalization of bicycles using will make it possible considering the regional differences in the conditions of dong unit. Therefore, this process will be important references to be considered a differentiated analysis and approaches to enable bike use of the conditions of small towns on the bicycle using.

In recent years, the interest of environmental-friendly transportation modes has been growing. This is because of social and environmental problems such as increasing gas price and climate change. In Europe, bike-sharing service, one of the environmental-friendly transportation modes, has been already operated. Bike-sharing service named "Tashu" has been operated in Daejeon city since 2009. This study is a fundamental research to increase utilization efficiency of bike-sharing service and to decide optimal locations of bike stations. In addition this study examines characteristics of bike usage and analyzes factors affecting to demands using multiple regression model. Based on the result of examining of characteristics of bike usage, the rate of bike usage is higher compared with installation rate of public bike stations near parks in Daejeon. In addition demands of bike usage in weekend is higher than in weekday. It reveals that the main purpose of bike usage could be recreational activities. The return rate at the same location with rental station is comparatively high. Moreover, bike usage pattern is biased in specific areas (Dunsan and Yuseong) because bike-sharing stations are not equally located. As a result of multiple regression model, the factors affecting to demands are number of passengers in buses, length of bike lanes, parks, distance to waterfront, and rate of young people. A statistical significance of factors (r-square) is 0.748, which has strong relationship.

Automobile-oriented urban transport system, continued from the past in Korea, is giving rise to inefficiency and social costs in transport sector. With revitalizing usage of bicycle, human-powered transport mode, it is possible to enhance sustainable green growth, improvement of the city-competitiveness, and the quality of life. In this study, the possibility of bicycle usage promotion in Korean cities is examined at 7 points of views. As a result, though the bicycle usage is low now, we figured that there are many positive signs to increase bicycle usage in Korea. Also, we draw a diverse key policies for building green urban transport system that bicycle have a most important role on transport system. So policies to promote bicycle usage are reviewed to analyze on bicycle-oriented 5 cities, in which have high bicycle mode share. By this review, this study could draw 41 key effective policies to 3 aspects (bicycle infrastructure, safety and promotion, and policy sustainability). In addition to, importance of 21 key effective policies about bicycle infrastructure is suggested as considering city's characteristics.

In the last five years, Korea has supplied many more bicycle facilities than in the last several decades combined. However, have bicyclists increased in proportion to investment? If bicyclists are avoiding existing bicycle related facilities, including off-road bicycle facilities, it could be because suppliers did not consider bicyclists' preferences in their planning process. In this paper, the authors tried to understand the bicyclists' behavioral and route choice characteristics using stated preference surveys and a logit model, using commuting time in Daejeon Metropolitan City, Korea. The results show that nine factors affect the route choice behavior of bicyclists. In particular, bicyclists preferred sub-arterial roads to off-road, dedicated bicycle facilities in residential area. It means that bicyclists like a seamless bicycle route and that a buffer zone between car lanes and bicycle lanes or 50 km/h speed limits for cars are necessary for bicycle lanes that are not physical separated.
