  • Following the lead of Isaiah Berlin, many liberals favor a negative conception of liberty because it limits the amount of interference and coercion that the state has in individual's lives. Such moves leave individuals to place value on their life choices or step back and revise them if desired. It is one thing, however, to argue that modern republicanism characterized by liberty as non-domination contains an alternative conception of liberty.

  • Brushless DC(BLDC) motors are widely used as AC servo motors in factory automation fields because of their quick instantaneous mobility, good energy saving efficiency and easiness of design for control system comparing with induction motors. Recently, a Two-Degree-of-Freedom(2DOF) PI control law has been adopted to some application parts to accomplish an advanced speed control of BLDC motors. The method can treat the two conflicting performances, minimum tracking errors versus reference inputs without large overshoot and rejection of some disturbances including modeling errors, independently. However, the method can not design the optimal system which is able to minimize tracking errors and energy consumption simultaneously. In this paper, a 2DOF integral type optimal servo control method is investigated to promote the speed control performances of BLDC motors considering energy consumption. In order to applicate the method to the speed servo system of the BLDC motor, the motor is modeled in the state space using the vector control and decoupling technique. To verify the validity of the suggested method, some simulations and experiments are performed.

  • 최근 군산에 자유무역지역이 신규 지정되고 기존의 마산과 익산의 수출자유지역은 자유무역지역으로 이름이 바뀌었다. 새로 도입된 자유무역지역은 성격상 기존의 수출가공구적인 입장에서 탈피하여 제조, 물류, 금융 등이 동시에 가능한 복합적인 성격을 지향하며, 특히 대중국 수출전진기지로서의 군산자유무역지역의 성패가 서해안시대를 맞이한 국민경제 발전의 관건이 되고 있다. 본 연구는 기존의 자유무역지역의 경험과 외국의 자유무역지역의 제도, 군산자유무역지역의 현안문제 등을 종합적으로 검토하여 자유무역지역의 제도개선과 자유무역지역 통합관리시스템 도입방안을 모색하였다.

  • 본고에서는 기지국이 Full duplex를 지원하는 셀룰러 망의 자유도(Degrees of freedom) 에 관한 최근 연구 결과를 소개한다. 구체적으로 단말이 Half duplex로 동작하는 환경과 단말이 Full duplex로 동작하는 환경 각각의 경우에 대해 얻을 수 있는 최적의 자유도에 대해 살펴본다. 최근에 각각의 환경에 대해 최적의 자유도가 완벽히 규명되었다. 기지국이 Full duplex 동작을 지원할 경우, 단말의 수가 기지국의 안테나 수에 비해 충분히 많다면, 기지국이 Half duplex 로 동작하는 기존의 셀룰러 네트워크에 비해 최대 두 배 자유도 향상을 달성할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 새로운 형태의 혼합형 5자유도 마이크로 매니퓰레이터를 제안하고 개발하고자 한다. 제안된 기구는 평면형 2자유도 XY-stage와 공간형 3자유도 병렬 기구로 구성된다. 3자유도 병렬기구는 3개의 직렬체인으로 이루어져 있으며, 공간상에서 두 방향의 회전 움직임과 Z축 방향으로의 병진운동을 생성한다. 모의실험을 통하여 개발된 기구의 작업공간과 출력단에서의 정밀도 해석을 수행한다. 개발된 기구는 조작 대상 물체의 미세 위치제어를 필요로 하는 반도체 및 기계, 생물, 의료분야 등에 적용 될 수 있다.

Rousseauistic origin of Kant's theory of Freedom. (칸트 도덕철학의 자율적 자유 개념의 루소적 기원)

  • In this paper I will consider the Rousseauistic origin of Knat's theory of Freedom. Kant's autonomous freedom which is the main theme of the Critique of practical Reason have three characteristic elements, namely spontaneity, self-lawmaking and universal validity. Rousseau mentions three kinds of freedom in his works. Natural freedom which is treated in Discourse on the origin of inequality is freedom which a man in natural state have. I proved that natural freedom is the origin of Kant's theory of spontaneity that is a essential part of autonomous freedom. Social freedom which is treated in Social contract is deeply connected with general will. General will is the power of self-lawmaking. We can easily conclude that Rousseau's social freedom is the origin of Kant's theory of self-legislation which is another essential part of autonomous freedom. The last essential part of Kant's autonomous freedom is universality that is inseparably connected with Rousseau's moral freedom which is largely mentioned in Emlie.

  • 자동차 부품은 주행 중 전후, 좌우, 상하방향의 병진 운동과 각 축에 대한 회전 운동 등 6자유도의 운동을 받는다. 이와 같은 운동에 따라 자동차에 탑재되는 운전석(cockpit), 의자(seat), 연료탱크, 라디에이터, FEM(front end module) 등의 부품 및 모듈 등은 6자유도 운동을 받으면서 각 부품의 기능을 수행하고 있다. 따라서 이들 부품을 짧은 시간 내에 개발하기 위해서는 가속내구시험평가가 필수적인데 이를 위해 유압식 6자유도 가진 테이블을 이용한 기술이 활용되고 있다. 본 해설에서는 자동차 부품 및 모듈의 내구성능 평가 과정과 함께 유압식 6자유도 가진 테이블을 보유하고 관련 부품의 진동내구성능을 평가하고 있는 군산대학교 자동차부품기술혁신센터(KATIC)의 시험 평가장비 및 사례를 기술하였다. 이와 같은 자동차 부품 내구성능평가 방법과 6자유도 가진 테이블을 이용한 시험은 향후 자동차부품 및 일반기계부품 개발업체에서 내구성능향상을 위하여 활용도가 더욱 증대될 것이다.

A Didactical Analysis on the Degree of Freedom (자유도의 교수학적 분석)

  • This study analyzes the degree of freedom with three aspects: as academic knowledge, in the curriculum focused on textbooks, and students' understanding of the degree of freedom. The results provide five critical points. First, we need discussions on whether to include the degree of freedom in the curriculum. Second, we need to reconsider the current way textbooks are described. Third, there should be a didactical analysis to advance students' understanding of the concept of the degree of freedom. Fourth, there are limitations in learning the concept of the degree of freedom in the current textbook learning environment. Fifth, a didactical check of sampling distribution such as sample mean, sample variance, and sample standard deviation is required. The implications were drawn that the emphasis on statistical reasoning education in the curriculum and careful consideration of introducing the t-distribution curriculum was required.

  • In this paper I will undertake three tasks: first, to identify the difference between John Rawls's liberal conception of liberty and Will Kymlicka's; second, to briefly examine the problems with liberal conception of liberty; finally, to propose a certain alternative that will be able to make liberal conception of liberty more meaningful In Kymlicka's view, Rawls seems to fail to make the best defence of freedom of choice because he wants to explain of individual freedom on the basis of Kant's moral theory about liberty. Kymlicka thinks that it is not a desirable way of defending liberal conception of liberty. According to his liberal theory, Rawls's defence of freedom of choice might make us think that we should have our freedom of choice for its own sake because freedom is the most valuable in the world. So Kymlicka wants to provide stronger argument to defend freedom of choice in liberalism. He insists that it is our projects and tasks that are most important things in our lives. Furthermore, he argues that we should conceive our freedom of choice as a precondition for pursuing those projects and practices that are valued for our good lives. Now I want to look at two concepts of liberty in liberalism with Rawls's theory and Kymlicaka's. In this paper, I shall look at criticisms of the liberal account of freedom of choice. These would give us a certain chance for understanding true freedom.

Freedom Achieved in Mathematics Education (수학에서 구현하는 자유)

  • The topic in this thesis stems from the current education situation that represses learners' freedom by excessive instruction and compulsory institution, in spite of the education helping learners free from inner prejudice as one of its chief aims. In this thesis, to discuss with an educational aspect, I call the learners' freedom in the learning process 'freedom-in-process' and the learners' freedom as the result of learning 'freedom-as-result'. Through this discussion, the conclusions are as follows; First, learners who enjoy freedom-in-process get to obtain freedom-as-result in mathematics education. Second, freedom-in-process and freedom-as-result appear repeatedly in the process of looking for and gaining structures. Freedom-in-process and freedom-as-result are both faces of coin, like seed and fruit which are related mutually and fertilized each other. For this purpose, Mathematics teacher must have awareness of the value of freedom, cherish the freedom, and enjoy it with his students.
