The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of social voluntary activity on the identity of women's college students. universities are functionally constituted by teaching, researching and social service. Data for analysis are collected 439 students at K women's college in other to examine research questions, t-test and regression test. The results of this analysis are as follows : First, There was any gap in self-esteem, morality and social welfare ideology between the college students who had ever experienced social voluntary activity and who had not. Second, The personal characteristics did not give an impact, but their satisfaction was under the influence of institutional support for supervision and altitude of themselves for social service, which were part of the institution characteristics. Third, The social service effectiveness was not affected by the personal characteristics, except influenced by the instituitional characteristits such as degree of compensation an influence on self-esteem. also social welfare and morality were not affected. Fourth, There was any gap in self-esteem, morality and social welfare ideology between the impact of service satisfaction on service effectiveness.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of youth voluntary on sense of citizenship, positive self-perception, and peer relations, which procedures was conducted by being comparison between middle school students and high school ones. This study also use the data given by 2st of the Seoul Education Longitudinal Study(SELS), which subjects were 7,593 youths(3,566 in middles school students and 4,027 in high school ones). The most significant variable for youth's peer relations was sense of citizenship both middle school and high school student, which indicates not only that it is encouraged by sense of citizenship but also that developing and leading the sense of citizenship for youth should be given by the school welfare policy. Positive self-perception in middle school youth influenced the second effect on their peer relations, but high school student's peer relation was impacted by the voluntary service into a secondary effect.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the activities of woman volunteers. The sample consisted of 626 woman volunteers working in 18 districts in Kangwon province. The questionnaires consists of three parts: The first part of the questionnaire addresses demographic information. The second part of the questionnaire asks the feelings of subjects concerning volunteer activities (15 items). The third part of the questionnaire was to explore their perspectives of volunteer activities. An SAS was used for frequency. F-test, and a Pearson Correlation. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Most of the subjects were in their 40's(37.7%) and 10.7% were under age 20. About two thirds(69.8%) were housewives, the Buddhists were the highest religious groups (34.9%). Most of the subjects(36.7%) worked at Red-Cross. 2. Most of the subjects(56.8%) have nuclear families. 3. The subjects worked most frequently was at the Social Welfare Center, followed by homes, and welfare centers. 4. The most frequently used direct service was conversation(38.2%) followed by assistance with the eating process. 5. About thirty-nine percent of the subjects had less than one year of experience, and the majority of subjects had volunteer service once per week. 6. There was a significant relationship among age, number of family, duration of volunteer service, and experience. Integrated service will be needed to connect home health nursing with welfare service.

Purpose: This study was attempted to investigate the relationship between the satisfaction of volunteering and the meaning in life of the elderly. Method: The subjects were 176 who had been volunteering in 7 general hospitals. in a metropolitan city, Korea. The data were gathered throughout August 2004. For measuring the satisfaction of volunteering, Kwon(1999) was modified and used, and for the meaning in life, Choi et al.(2003) was used. Result: Mean of the volunteering satisfaction was 3.00(Maximum, 4.00) and the highest domain was Social Contact and the lowest was Social Exchange. Mean of meaning in life was 3.02 (Maximum, 4.00) and the highest score was Family love and the lowest was Self Awareness & Self-Acceptance. Volunteering satisfaction was significantly different in age, religion, number of children and voluntary service time, and the meaning in life was different in religion, number of children, subjective health condition, subjective family relationship, and voluntary service time. Conclusion: There was positive correlation between volunteering satisfaction and meaning in life (r=.69 p=.000). According to the result, the satisfaction of volunteering could be make better meaning in life of the elderly. In order to increase the meaning in life and to improve volunteering satisfaction of the elderly, various social and personal efforts to participate in social service are would be adopted.

이 연구는 공공도서관에서 활용할 수 있는 기부의 구체적인 내용들을 이론적 측면에서 분석하여 검토하고, 대구광역시의 8개공공도서관(분관제외)을 중심으로 물질적 기부와 시간적 기부(자원봉사)로 나누어 그 실태를 조사하고 분석하였다. 대구지역 공공도서관의 기부를 활성화하기 위해서는 기부에 대한 체계적인 지침(manual)들이 문서화되어야 하며, 다양한 기부방법 등을 모색해야 할 것이다. 기부자의 지속적인 참여를 위해 개인과 단체에 대한 관리, 모집, 교육 및 훈련, 보상의 기준설정이 이루어져야 하며, 도서관장과 직원들의 기부에 대한 올바른 인식과 노력이 필요하다.

치위생학 학생의 노인에 관한 지식과 태도에 영향을 주는 요인을 파악하고자 한다. 2019년 5월 13일부터 5월 31일까지 치위생학과 학생을 대상으로 258부 시행하였다. 통계프로그램은 SPSS win 22.o을 이용하였다. 노인에 관한 지식의 전체 평균은 25점 만점 중에서 10.62점이었고, 노인에 관한 태도의 전제 평균은 3.15점으로 나타났다. 노인에 관한 태도에 영향을 주는 요인은 노인구강건강 문제 관심도 이였으며, 노인구강건강문제에 관심이 있는 경우에는 노인에 대한 지식이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 노인에 관한 태도에 영향을 주는 요인은 노인 자원봉사 경험이었으며, 자원봉사 경험이 있는 경우에는 노인에 관한 태도가 긍정적으로 나타났다. 따라서 치위생학과 학생들의 노인에 관한 지식과 태도에 관한 교육 및 프로그램이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

목적: 본 연구는 한국 호스피스의 실천 현장에서 자원봉사자들의 세밀한 봉사활동 경험과 호스피스 팀 활동에 따른 상호작용에 대한 깊이 있는 이해를 도모하고자 시행되었다. 보다 구체적으로, 호스피스 정책 입안자들과 행정가들 그리고 관리자들에게 호스피스 자원봉사자의 의미와 자원봉사자 역할의 중요성에 대한 인식을 제고함으로써 향후 한국 호스피스의 발전을 위한 정책적 기여를 행하고자 한다. 방법: 한국 호스피스의 제도화된 4가지 유형(분산형 가정형 병동형 독립형)에 대해 심층 인터뷰와 참여관찰을 시행하였다. 질적 접근의 엄격한 연구방법 중 하나인 "사례 분석"과 관련해서, 연구 참여자들을 선정한 후 심층 인터뷰를 행하였고, 인터뷰 결과는 '사례 내분석'과 '사례 간 분석'으로 정리하였다. 결과: 분석 결과, 호스피스 자원봉사자들은 '종교적 신앙심'에 의해 이 일을 시작하였고, 그토록 힘든 봉사활동을 지속시키는 힘 또한 '신앙심'이라고 했다. 따라서 호스피스 자원봉사자 활동 경험의 본질은 "종교적 신앙심에 의한 일 나를 위한 일"로 분석되었다. 또한 이들의 봉사활동 경험의 특성은 "아무런 대가 없이 행하는 진정한 봉사 아무나 할 수 없는 전문적인 봉사"로 나타났다. 덧붙여서, 호스피스 자원봉사 활동을 통해 스스로가 달라진 점으로는 "내적 성장 - '좋은 죽음'의 의미에 대한 자기 성찰 -과 영적 다양성 존중의 중요성인식"이라고 했다. 결론: 본 연구는 한국 호스피스의 실천가들과 정책 전문가들에게 호스피스 팀의 일원으로서 호스피스 자원봉사자의 의미와 그 중요성에 대한 인식 제고를 위해 시행되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로, 한국 호스피스의 성공과 한국인들의 좋은 죽음 성취를 위한 실천적 제언을 하고자 한다.

본 연구의 목적은 의용소방대원들의 재난에 대한 인식이 자원봉사활동 지속성에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위하여 강원도 시 군에 거주하고 의용소방대원으로 활동하고 있는 의용소방대원 남녀 163명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 Windows용 20.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 상관관계 및 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 모든 통계분석은 유의수준 p<.05로 설정하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 의용소방대원들의 재난에 대한 인식, 만족, 자원봉사활동 지속성 간의 상관관계는 재난대책과 만족 및 참여정도에서 부적 상관을 보였고, 재난훈련, 재난준비, 지역재난, 지속시간, 지속의지 등은 정적 상관관계를 나타났다. 둘째, 의용소방대원들의 재난에 대한 인식도에서는 재난대책을 부분적으로 알고 있다고 가장 많이 답했으며, 재난훈련 교육경험 및 중증도 분류에 질문에 대체적으로 있었음으로 가장 높았다. 또한, 재난 시 비상연락체계 및 비상근무시간표에 대한 질문에 대체적으로 잘 알고 있는 것으로 나타났고, 인적 재난발생에 대한 질문에 대체적으로 보통이 가장 높았다. 셋째, 의용소방대들의 만족도가 자원봉사활동 지속성에 미치는 영향으로 만족도의 하위요인인 중 경험욕구, 사회접촉, 사회인정이 지속시간에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 지속의지에는 사회접촉, 성취욕구, 지속정도에는 경험욕구 및 성취욕구만 영향이 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to develop field programs to activate family volunteering and thereby promote healthy family life. The programs were based on a review of family ecological theories of family volunteering activities. A focus group interview was conducted about satisfaction of the program with five volunteers who were experiencing the same family life cycle. The results of study showed that growing sprouts, which are environmentally friendly activities in family, and family volunteer activities lead to family leisure, table, community sharing cultures and cooperation culture between the family and the community. These effects can ultimately contribute to the creation of a healthy family culture.

전남 고흥의 소록도는 그 섬의 아름다움보다, 한센병 환자들의 집단 거주지로서 더 유명하다. 1916년부터 이곳은 국내 한센병 환자들의 역사와 함께하였기 때문이다. 따라서, 그들에 대한 오해와 편견, 그리고 관심의 흔적들이 이 섬에는 그대로 남아있다. 2001년 11월 자원봉사자들의 숙식과 교육을 위한 센터가 완공되었으며, 무영건축은 설계와 감리를 담당하였다. 대규모 설계사무소에서는 좀처럼 진행하기 힘든 외딴 섬에 위치한 연면적 1,300㎡의 작은 건물이었지만, 자원봉사자들을 위한 건물을 만드는 일은 한센병 환자들에게 봉사하는 건축가의 사회적 역할이었다. 건축가의 작업은 마쳤으나 이제는 그들에 대한 이해와 관심을 모으는 일이 남아있으며, 이 글을 통하여 한센병과 소록도에 대한 이해를 도모하고 자원봉사센터의 건립과정을 소개하고자 한다.
