  • 무선 센서 네트워크에는 한정된 배터리 자원과 네트워크의 라이프타임(lifetime)으로 인해 멀티레벨 커버리지 문제가 이슈가 되어 왔다. 하지만, 대부분의 연구에서는 멀티레벨 커버리지 문제를 해결할 때 센싱 범위는 고정적이며 변경할 수 없음을 가정하고 있으며, 이로 인해 센싱 범위와 커버리지 범위와의 관계에 대해서 고려하고 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 센싱 범위와 커버리지 범위와의 관계를 이용하여 유동 센싱 범위(DSR, Dynamic Sensing Range) 배치에 대하여 연구하였다.

  • The globalization of business is making it more important than ever to understand how international human resource can be utilized more competitively. This study explores how the international human resource strategies between global integration and local responsiveness affects the company's competitive advantage. The findings for global integration strategy suggest that when a subsidiary is highly dependent on the parent company's resources and the findings for local responsiveness suggest that when a subsidiary is highly dependant on the host country's resources and institution. This study proposes competitive advantage by the global integration strategy and local responsiveness strategy. The effects of IHRM to create value for company's core competence was analyzed. Two IHRM strategic choices will affect the different competences such as integration and localization abilities. This paper also suggests the two kinds of core competences of IHRM strategies how impact on company's performance.

  • 현재 우리나라의 경제 환경을 볼 때, 외부적으로는 석유를 비롯한 원자재 가격이 급등, 미국과 일본이 경제둔화, 거대 경제국가인 중국이 경제성장을 조정하고 있다. 국내에서는 수출증가에도 불구하고 기업들의 설비투자 부진, 실업률 상승 및 내수시장 침체 등으로 경제적 회복이 지연되고 있는 매우 어려운 상태에 직면해 있다. 이와 같이 급격하게 변화하는 경영 환경에서 생존하기 위해서는 인적자원 재개발 및 학습능력의 배양이 어느 때보다 중요하게 부각되고 있다. 인적자원의 능력을 파악하여 인원 선발이나 적재적소에 배치한다면 그 보다 더 나은 조직은 없을 것이다. 역동적 경영 환경 내에서 성공을 추구하는 각 기업은 끊임없는 변화에 적극 대응하여 새로운 변화를 창출해 나가는 인적자원의 능력배양을 기업성공의 중요한 요소로 보고 있다. 따라서 역동적 변화 속에 있는 기업은 변화에 효과적 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 유연한 조직을 개발하여 고객만족 극대화, 종업원 만족 극대화, 인적자원 활용 극대화를 통하여 기업경쟁력 향상을 이룩할 수 있어야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 기업 중 4조 2교대 근무 시스템을 도입하여 지식 근로자를 양성함으로써 큰 성공을 거둔 유한킴벌리의 고성과 근무 시스템의 도입부터 적용, 적용에 따른 성과까지의 전 과정을 심층 연구하여 이 시스템이 기업의 경쟁력을 향상 시키는 중요한 도구로 사용 된 수 있도록 연구 하고자 한다.

  • Test scheduling of SoC (System-on-a-chip) is very important because it is one of the prime methods to minimize the testing time under limited power consumption of SoC. In this paper, a heuristic algorithm, in which test resources are selected for groups and arranged based on the size of product of power dissipation and test time together with total power consumption in core-based SoC is proposed. We select test resource groups which has maximum power consumption but does not exceed the constrained power consumption and make the testing time slot of resources in the test resource group to be aligned at the initial position in test space to minimize the idling test time of test resources. The efficiency of proposed algorithm is confirmed by experiment using ITC02 benchmarks.

  • 최근의 소프트웨어들이 다양한 기능을 갖추어가면서 점차 복잡도가 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 오류로부터의 복구도 어려워져 가고 있다. 이러한 변화는 소프트웨어의 자가 치유 연구에 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 하지만 자가 치유 방법론에서 중요한 요소 중에 하나인 모니터는 아직까지 개발자가 일일이 작성해야 하는 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 외부 자원으로 인한 오류를 탐지하는 모니터 모듈의 생성을 자동화하는 방법론을 제시하고, 이것을 적용한 소프트웨어 아키텍처를 제안한다. 본 방법론은 1) UML의 배치 다이어그램으로부터 소프트웨어와 하드웨어간의 연결을 분석하고, 2) 기술된 제약사항을 이용하여 모니터링 모듈을 자동으로 생성한다. 3) 이후 생성된 모듈을 소프트웨어 사양에 맞게 수정한 후 컴포넌트에 추가한다. 이러한 제안 방법론을 통해 기존에 수동으로 만들어야 했던 외부 자원 모니터를 자동화하는 것이 가능해 진다. 본 논문에서는 평가를 위해 제안 방법론을 비디오 회의 시스템의 클라이언트에 적용하여, 외부 자원의 오류를 올바르게 탐지해내는지 확인한다.

A Study on the Optimal Site Selection by Constraint Mapping and Park Optimization for Offshore Wind Farm in the Southwest Coastal Area (서남해 연안 해상풍력 발전단지 지리적 적합지 선정 및 최적배치에 관한 연구)

  • In order to effectively secure site suitability for the development of large-scale offshore wind farms, it is essential to minimize the environmental impact of development and analyze the conflicts of benefit between social, ecological, and economic core values. In addition, a preliminary review of site adequacy must be preceded in order not to collide with other used areas in the marine spatial plan. In addition, it is necessary to conduct local meteorological characteristics analysis including wind resources near Jeollanam-do area before project feasibility study. Therefore, wind resource analysis was performed using the observation data of the meteorological mast installed in Wangdeungnyeo near Anmado, Yeonggwang, and the optimal site was selected after excluding geographical constraints related to the location of the offshore wind farm. In addition, the annual energy production was calculated by deriving the optimal wind farm arrangement results suitable for the local wind resources characteristics based on WindSim SW, and it is intended to be used as basic research data for site discovery and selection of suitable sites for future offshore wind farm projects.

Pre-Packing, Early Fixation, and Multi-Layer Density Analysis in Analytic Placement for FPGAs (FPGA를 위한 분석적 배치에서 사전 패킹, 조기 배치 고정 및 밀도 분석 다층화)

  • Previous academic research on FPGA tools has relied on simple imaginary models for the targeting architecture. As the first step to overcome such restriction, the issues on analytic placement and legalization which are applied to commercial FPGAs have been brought up, and several techniques to remedy them are presented, and evaluated. First of all, the center of gravity of the placed cells may be far displaced from the center of the chip during analytic placement. A function is proposed to be added to the objective function for minimizing this displacement. And then, the density map is expanded into multiple layers to accurately calculate the density distribution for each of the cell types. Early fixation is also proposed for the memory blocks which can be placed at limited sites in small numbers. Since two flip-flops share control pins in a slice, a compatibility constraint is introduced during legalization. Pre-packing compatible flip-flops is proposed as a proactive step. The proposed techniques are implemented on the K-FPGA fabric evaluation framework in which commercial architectures can be precisely modeled, and modified for enhancement, and validated on twelve industrial strength examples. The placement results show that the proposed techniques have reduced the wire length by 22%, and the slice usage by 5% on average. This research is expected to be a development basis of the optimization CAD tools for new as well as the state-of-the-art FPGA architectures.

  • Workflow is defined as the automation of a business process, and consists of interrelated workflow tasks. Because many modem business processes nay involve activities that are geographically distributed between different departments or organizations, workflow inherently has the characteristics of distribution. In distributed workflow systems, each workflow task performs its assigned role by utilizing information resources placed at some hosts, and then transmits workflow execution control to the next tasks in a workflow definition. Hence, it is very important to appropriately allocate workflow tasks to hosts for high performance workflow processing. In this paper, we propose a multilevel workflow graph partitioning scheme for efficient placement of workflow tasks. This method can improve the performance of workflow processing by minimizing the remote communication costs occurred during workflow execution.

  • Unnecessary transportation of resources are one of the major causes that adversely affect construction site work productivity. Therefore, layout related studies have been conducted with efforts to develop management technologies and techniques to minimize the resource transportation made at site-level. However, although the necessity for floor-level layout planning studies has been increasing as buildings have become larger and floors have become more complicated, studies to optimize the transportation of materials inside buildings are currently not being actively conducted. Therefore, in this study, a model was developed using genetic algorithms(GA) that will enable the optimization of the locations of finishing materials on the work-floor. With the established model, the arrangement of diverse materials on complicated floors can be planned and the optimized material layout planning derived from the model can minimize the total material transportation time spent by laborers during their working day. In addition, to calculate travel distances between work sites and materials realistically, the concept of actual travel distances was applied. To identify the applicability of the developed model and compare it with existing methodologies and analyze it, the model was applied to actual high-rise residential complexes.

Optimal Landing Location and Skid Trail Network Selection in Timber Harvesting Area (목재수확작업지의 적정 집재장 선정 및 작업로 배치)

  • Forest in the our country is in the age that needs positive operation in order to foster economical forest. Multiple operations for making valuable forest should be conducted steadily and timely from afforestation to harvesting. In order to execute these kinds of forest operations, the construction of skid trail network that can be effectively used as a pathway for forestry machine and working space is necessary. To investigate facility effect of skid trail network, we executed the location of skid trail network through centroid method by GIS for 50ha of harvesting workplace in mechanized model forest located in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province. As a result of this research, skid trail density in this area changed from 79m/ha with current method to 42m/ha with improved method. It appeared that skid trail density with improved method is nearly half of current method even though the cutting area is the same as the current cutting area. Also, skidding distance changed from 117m with current method to 57m with improved method. It appears that skidding distance with improved method is nearly half of current method even though cutting area was enlarged in adjacent tending cutting area.
