The change of Psychological skills strategy and Self-management behavior according to the level of Resourcefulness of Fencing-Athlete (대학 펜싱선수들의 심리교육 효과: 자원동원성 수준에 따른 심리기술과 자기관리행동의 변화를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to change of Psychological skills strategy and Self-management behavior according to the level of Resourcefulness of collegiate fencing-athletes. Methods: This study was a single case for 12-week intervention. and it took about 60-90 minutes, once a week. Participants were 154 Student athletes and 20 fencing-athletes. The effect of this study was utilized a questionnaire. To analyze the responses of research, the paired t-test were used for finding the significances of mean differences(p<.05). After 12 week education session the results are as follows: Firstly, high group of Resourcefulness showed greater increase in Attention and Image. low group of Resourcefulness showed greater increase in Will power, Goal Setting, Confidence, Attention, Image. Secondly, high group of Resourcefulness showed greater increase in Physical management. low group of Resourcefulness showed greater increase in Training management. fencing-athletes were significantly increased of capacity for Performance and self-management according to the level of Resourcefulness, after 12-weeks. This study suggested useful information about sport psychological skills training and intervention of fencing-athletes.

Does Organizational Capacity Explain Fundraising Effectiveness in Nonprofit Social Service Organizations? (비영리 사회복지조직의 재정자원동원 효과성과 조직의 관리능력)

  • This study intended to analyze what factors affect fundraising effectiveness in nonprofit social service organizations. Focusing on organizational characteristics only, current studies did not address the importance of organizational capacity leading to organizational effectiveness. Based on the assumption of the relation between organizational capacity and effectiveness of nonprofit organizations, this study added factors indicating organizational capacity to the current model. After collecting data from 147 staffs involving in fundraising activities of nonprofit social service organizations, this study used a hierarchical regression analysis. The results showed that organizational capacity had a significant impact on the variance of fundraising effectiveness. Despite the limitations of the purposive sampling method, this study has implications to provide practical guideline for nonprofit managers and to develop a theoretical framework with a new perspective on organizational capacity.

  • 최근 국지성 집중호우 등 기상이변의 영향으로 침수피해의 위험성은 점차 증가하는 추세이고, 도시화로 인한 불투수면적의 증가, 녹지공간의 감소, 도시의 난개발 등 물순환 체계의 왜곡에 따른 침수로 인한 피해가 다수 발생하고 있다. 침수 발생 시 막대한 인적 및 물적 피해가 발생할 수 있기에 재난초기에 재난관리자원의 신속한 확보와 동원은 피해확산 방지에 매우 중요하고, 자원의 부족이나 동원의 지연으로 초기 대응이 늦어질 경우 피해가 확대될 수 있기에 침수발생 특성에 따른 필요 자원의 비축 및 동원이 필요하다. 하지만, 재난관리자원은 종류가 다양하고 요구되는 비축량이 많기에 모든 재난관리자원을 보유하고, 활용하기에는 어려움이 따른다. 따라서 침수피해재난을 중심으로 최적 자원 비축을 통한 효율적인 재난관리자원 운영 및 관리체계의 마련이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 과거 20년(2001년~2020년) 동안 발생한 침수피해 관련 재난(호우, 태풍, 풍랑)사례를 통해 재난발생 시 동원된 자원현황을 분석하였다. 재해연보, 관련 백서 및 보고서, 침수흔적도 등의 수집 및 분석을 통해 지자체 침수피해 현황을 분류하고, 침수재난과 관련된 자원의 비축 및 운용 사례 분석을 통해 장비 28종, 자재 6종을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 침수재난 발생 시 지자체별 침수피해 규모와 필요한 재난관리자원을 도출한 점에서 그 의미가 있으며, 향후 재난관리자원의 효율적인 비축 및 관리계획 수립에 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A Study of the stockpile and mobilization framework for the disaster management resources (재난관리자원 비축 및 동원 체계 연구)

  • It needs a framework to minimizing the damage using the just-time just-resources strategy. But it is not easy to put 'what kinds of resources', 'how many resources', 'from where institutions', and 'how much money for the reimbursement'. So most of the local government depends on the field manager. In this study, we analysed the conventional system and provides the efficient methodology to the stockpiling and mobilizing against to the disaster. The study does not provide the stockpile amount for the local governments, because the stockpile amounts must consider the local diverse situations.

Resourcefulness : A Concept Analysis (자원동원성 (Resourcefulness)의 개념 분석)

  • Resourcefulness was analyzed by Walker and Avant's method to make a theoretical framework for nursing. Also, the appropriate Korean terminology was identified.“Resourcefulness”means the ability to use internal and external resources to eliminate or to control stress. '자원동원성' is chosen to be the most appropriate term to reflect the concept of resourcefulness. Upon the concept analysis, availability, controllability, confidence, and self-instruction were identified as the defining characteristics of resourcefulness. Contrary to other work, "availability" means the ability to use the social resources as well as the internal cognitive-behavioral resources. “Controllability” means the ability to delay or control immediate gratification of one's needs or to divert one's own mood in order to solve problem. "Confidence" is the self-efficacy belief in one's control ability. "Self-instruction" is the cognitive ability to instruct oneself positively. Resourcefulness is learned by active experience, vicarious experience, and formal or informal instruction, and it is cued in the presence of a stressful situation or a need for change. As a result of the use of resourcefulness, the target behavior performed immediately and ultimately improve the quality of life or adaptation. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the instrument including the defining attributes identified in this study. Also, it is necessary to simultaneously analyze the related concepts of self-efficacy, self-control, and self-regulation for appropriate use.

The Influence of the Clinical Nurses' Emotional Labor and Resourcefulness on the Turnover Intention (병원간호사의 감정노동과 자원동원성이 이직 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This is predictive correlational study to identify the influence of emotional labor and resourcefulness on turnover intention among clinical nurses. The participants were 138 clinical nurses and the data were collected by an online survey using a self-administered questionnaire from 10th to 17th April, 2016.The collected data were analyzed using SPSS program through t-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffe's test and multiple linear regression. In the results, there were differences in emotional labor by age, marital status, job position, clinical career, shift work, in resourcefulness by gender, clinical career, and in turnover intention by age. As a result of multiple linear regression, emotional labor and resourcefulness were selected as significant related variables affecting nurse's turnover intentions. These factors accounted for 3.7% of turnover intention, which necessitates the consideration of a specific plan to reduce emotional labor and increase resourcefulness for decreasing clinical nurse's turnover intention.

  • The paper critically examines resource mobilization theories, frame theory, and new social movement theories, and proposes studies on the spatiality of the social movements as one potential to mitigate the limitation in these theories. The resource mobilization theories and the frame theory, the strategy-oriented approaches, lack contextual understandings of the origin of social movements. While new social movement theories provide macro-scale analysis and the structural explanations of the origins of social movements, they have covered limited geographical areas. The spatiality of social movements promotes deep understandings of local differences, and contexts in and through which grievances are constructed and collective actions are organized. Physical structures and symbolic representations of places are often created and utilized as social movement strategies. The spatiality of social movements can be a useful conceptual tool to explain the diversity and the dynamics of social movements.

Impact of Resourcefulness and Communication Style on Nursing Performance in Hospital Nurses (간호사의 자원동원성, 의사소통유형이 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the impact of resourcefulness and communication style on nursing performance in nurses working in hospitals. Method: Though a convenience sampling method 312 nurses were recruited between from July 4 and 17, 2011. Data were collected using a questionnaire, which included items on work related characteristics, resourcefulness, communication style, and nursing performance. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The major findings of this study were as follow; 1) There were significant relationships between nursing performance and resourcefulness ($p$<.001), informative communication style ($p$<.001), affiliativeness communication style ($p$<.001), and dominance communication style ($p$<.001). 2) The nursing performance was significantly associated with career in current department, resourcefulness, informative communication style, affiliativeness communication style, and dominance communication style in capability which explained 45.6% of variance in nursing performance. Conclusion: The results of this study demonstrate a relationship between resourcefulness, communication style, and nursing performance in hospital nurses indicating the need to use the study results to plan programs to prompt nurses in their use of resourcefulness and communication style in nursing care.

Factors Influencing Health Promoting Behavior among Hospital Registered Nurses - Mood States, Resourcefulness, and Health Perception - (일부 병원 간호사의 기분상태, 자원동원성 및 건강지각이 건강증진행위에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine the effects of mood state, resourcefulness, and health perception on health promoting behavior of hospital nurses. Methods: Convenience sampling was conducted for nurses working at three University hospital and 336 nurses were selected. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. Results: The results of the analysis showed that the score for nurses' mood state was $41.76{\pm}18.90$; for resourcefulness, $11.30{\pm}20.63$; for health perception, $3.32{\pm}.77$, and for health promoting behavior, $111.55{\pm}17.76$. Mood state, resourcefulness, and health perception were significantly correlated with health promoting behavior. The overall explanatory power of the effects of nurses' mood state, resourcefulness, and health perception on health promoting behavior was 27.8%. Conclusion: Study results indicate that better mood state, higher resourcefulness, and higher health perception result in more health promoting behavior.

Determination of AHP-based factor weights for quantification of regional mega-drought resilience (지역별 메가가뭄 복원력 정량화를 위한 AHP기반 인자 가중치 결정)

  • 가뭄의 경우 타 자연재난에 비해 발생경로, 피해범위, 발생기간 등이 매우 다양해 다각적인 측면에서의 대응책 마련이 필요하다. 따라서, 극한가뭄에 대비한 지자체별 가뭄 역량 평가를 수행하는 것은 재난관리에 있어서 최우선이라고 할 수 있다. 현재 국내외적으로 가뭄과 관련된 지역적 복원력을 평가한 사례는 매우 적다. 가뭄은 지진, 홍수 등과 같은 타 자연재난에 비하여 지속기간이 길고, 그 지속기간에 따라 피해의 영향 또한 파급력이 달라지므로 복원력 산정을 위한 항목, 복원력 곡선의 저하 형태 및 양상 역시 가뭄의 특성에 맞춰 도출되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 지자체별 극한가뭄에 대한 복원력 정량화를 위하여 가뭄과 관련된 내구성, 대체성, 신속성, 자원동원력의 세부인자를 정성인자와 정량인자로 구분하여 총 18개 항목으로 구성하였다. 구성된 18가지 항목이 정량인자 뿐만 아니라 정성인자로 구성됨에 따라, 모든 인자를 동일한 가중치로 평가할 경우 최종결과가 상대적 중요도의 미 고려로 인해 왜곡될 가능성이 존재한다. 따라서 계층적분석기법(AHP, Analytic Hierarchy Process)을 통해 내구성, 대체성, 신속성, 그리고 자원동원력에 대한 가중치와 내구성, 대체성, 그리고 신속성에 대한 세부 지표별 가중치를 도출하여 지역별 메가가뭄 복원력을 정량화 하였다. 분석결과를 동일한 가중치를 적용한 결과와 비교분석하였으며, 과거 가뭄사례를 통해 검토하였다.
