Development of Rollable Smartpad for Management of the Sitting Behavior (착좌 행동 관리를 위한 롤러블 스마트패드 개발)

  • 본 연구에서는 현대인들의 하루 중 많은 시간을 차지하는 착좌 생활을 관리하기 위한 롤러블(rollable) 스마트패드를 개발하였다. 이를 위해 PVDF(polyvinylidene fluoride) 필름을 이용한 압전센서(piezoelectric sensor)를 제작하였으며, 센서에서 데이터를 획득하고 및 햅틱 피드백(haptic feedback)을 주기 위한 측정시스템을 개발하였다. 또한, 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 통해 착좌 자세에 대한 정보를 실시간으로 제공하도록 하였다. 제작된 시스템의 착좌 자세 구분 정확도는 10명의 피험자를 대상으로 평가되었으며, 4가지 자세(상체를 좌, 우, 앞, 뒤로 기울인 앉은 자세)에 대한 실험결과 제작된 시스템은 92.5%의 정확도로 제시한 4가지의 자세를 구분하였다.

A comparative study of guiding methods for natural head posture in cephalometrics (두부방사선규격사진 촬영 시 유도방법에 따른 자연두부자세의 차이 및 재현성에 관한 연구)

  • The Purpose of this study was to compare the degree of vortical head rotation and to evaluate the reproducibility of natural Head posture (NHP) according to two guiding methods, the head posture aligner (HPA) method and the solf balance posture (SBP) method. The subjects consisted of 30 adults. On the first day. lateral and frontal cephalometric radiographs were obtained through the two guiding methods. One mouth later. lateral and frontal cephalometric radiographs were obtained again through both guiding methods. The degrees of vertical head rotation of both guiding methods were compared and the reproducibility was evaluated for each guiding method. A comparison of the degrees of vortical head rotation for the two methods revealed that the vertical head posture was lower in the SBP method than in the HPA method by an average of $2.79^{\circ}$. All measurements obtained using the HPA and SBP methods with a time interval of one north did not show any significant difierence in lateral and frortal cephalometric radiographs. The results of the present study suggest that the SBP method may be used as an alternative to the HPA method in case the HPA method can not be applied.

Evaluation of the Efficiency of Use of Fixation Instruments in Computed Tomography-Guided Biopsy of Lung Lesions (전산화단층촬영 유도하 폐 병소의 생검시 고정기구 사용의 효용성 평가)

  • Minimizing patient movement during CT-guided lung biopsy is an important factor in the procedure. To minimize movement, a vacuum cushion was used to evaluate its effectiveness. The subjects of this study were 116 patients aged 40 years or older who had good coordination with postural fixation and breathing control. Posture measurements were performed in the supine position, prone position, oblique position, and lateral position according to each position of the lung lesion biopsy lesion. Measurement positions were measured in the anterior, posterior, right, and left positions based on the anatomical posture. In the prone position, the mean difference between the non-use and the use of the posterior was 1.7905, and t=2.913 (p<0.01), and the mean difference between the non-use/use was statistically significant. The difference between the unused and used averages of left was 2.4105, and the difference between the left averages was also significant with t=3.684 (p<0.01). The difference between the unused and used averages of the right was 2.3263, with t=3.791 (p<0.01). The mean difference between unused and used is statistically significant. As a result of statistical analysis, the biopsy of the lung lesion using a fixation device showed less movement in all postures. It is considered that it is meaningful in that it is possible to conduct a more accurate biopsy procedure and minimize the patient's posture movement by using a fixation device during the CT-guided biopsy of the lung lesion.

  • 3D 사람 자세 추정 기술은 다양한 응용 분야에서의 높은 활용성으로 인해 대량의 학습 데이터가 수집되어 딥러닝 모델 연구가 진행되어 온 반면, 동물 자세 추정의 경우 3D 동물 데이터의 부족으로 인해 관련 연구는 극히 미진하다. 본 연구는 동물 자세 추정을 위한 예비연구로서, 3D 학습 데이터가 없는 상황에서 단일 이미지로부터 3D 사람 자세를 추정하는 딥러닝 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 사전 훈련된 다중 시점 학습모델을 사용하여 2D 자세 데이터로부터 가상의 다중 시점 데이터를 생성하여 훈련하는 연역적 학습 기반 교사-학생 모델을 구성하였다. 또한, 키포인트 깊이 정보 대신 2D 이미지로부터 레이블링 된 순서 깊이 정보에 기반한 손실함수를 적용하였다. 제안된 모델이 동물데이터에서 적용 가능한지 평가하기 위해 실험은 사람 데이터를 사용하여 이루어졌다. 실험 결과는 제안된 방법이 기존 단안 이미지 기반 모델보다 3D 자세 추정의 성능을 개선함을 보여준다.

Analysis of the Convergence Pulmonary Function in the 20s Men of Mild Intellectual Disabilities according to Multiple Lying Positions (경도의 지적장애를 가진 20대 대학생의 다양한 누운 자세별 복합적 폐활량에 대한 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine whether changes of multiple lying position might effect the convergence pulmonary function of the 20s men of mild intellectual disabilities. Twenty subjects of mild intellectual disabilities were participated in the experiment. Subjects were assessed for vital capacity by using Fit mate according to the multiple lying position changes(supine position, right sidelying position, left sidelying position, prone position). One-way repeated ANOVA analyzed each region data of vital capacity of subjects according to their multiple lying position. The result of the experiment showed that the 20s men of mild intellectual disabilities have more higher vital capacity to right sidelying position than another lying position. This study suggests that the pulmonary functional data of 20s men of mild intellectual disabilities in this experiment can be used as a basic respiratory one for the bed exercise programs in the area of the physical activities.

The Effects of the Action Observation and Visual Feedback Convergence Exercise on the Alignment, Pain and Function of Forward Head Posture and Round Shoulder Posture (동작관찰과 시각적 되먹임 융합 운동이 머리전방자세와 둥근어깨의 정렬, 통증과 기능에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study was to determine the effects of the action observation and visual feedback on the alignment, pain and function of forward head posture(FHP) and round shoulder(RS). A total of 24 participants with FHP and RSP were randomly assigned to general exercise(GE, n=8), action observation(AO, n=8), and visual feedback(VF, n=8). All subjects were exercised three times a week for four weeks. The groups were assessed for craniovertebral angle(CVA), round shoulder posture(RSP), visual analog scale(VAS), and neck disability index(NDI) before and after exercise, There was a significant difference in CVA in the GE, AO and RSP, VAS and NDI were significantly different in all groups. AO was more effective than GE, VF for VAS. The results of this study suggest that action observation may be effective to improve the FHP and RS.

Effect of Postural Support with a Custom Seating System on Upper Extremity Access to Mouse for Children with Cerebral Palsy: a Single Subject Research (맞춤형 착석장치를 통한 자세지지가 뇌성마비 아동의 상지 마우스 사용에 미치는 영향: 단일대상연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of custom seating system on upper extremity access to mouse for a child with cerebral palsy. A single-subject ABAB design was used with one 13years old participant. The measurements were response time and accuracy of mouse click in the participant's typical position and in an intervention position. The intervention position was taken by using current clinical guideline and research on promoting upper extremity movement. The intervention position was achieved through hands-on postural support to the participant's typical seating. The results of this study were as follow: first, response time was decreased in the intervention position compared with the typical seating. Second, accuracy of mouse click was highly in every phases. So further analyses were not conducted on these data. The results of this study provide empirical evidence of the positive effects of functional seating on access to mouse for children with cerebral palsy. Further research is required to confirm the positive effect of the custom seating system across other disabilities type and more subjects.

  • The purpose of this study is to assess the ability of balance control in moving surround using head mount device and force platform and to examine the clinical usefulness of COP parameters. Fifteen patients with stroke and healthy persons were participated. COP parameters were obtained as total path distance, frequency of anterior-posterior and medial-lateral component by FFT analysis, weight-spectrum analysis in the two different conditions; (1) in comfortable standing with opened or closed eyes, (2) in virtual moving surround delivered using HMD to four different moving pattern. In virtual moving surround setting, moving pattern was composed of close-far, superior-inferior tilting(pitch), right-left tilting(roll) and horizontal rotation(yaw) movement. In all parameters, the reliebility of COP analysis system was significantly high.   • 오늘날 자동차는 자동차 자체에 대한 기능적 측면뿐만 아니라 운전자 및 탑승자에게 적절한 거주 공간을 제공하여야 한다는 인간공학적 측면을 동시에 만족시켜야 한다. 특히 부적절한 거주 공간에서 비롯된 좋지 않은 운전 자세는 운전시 신체 각 부위에 과다한 피로를 유발시키고 운전 성능에도 영향 을 미칠 수 있기 때문에 안전 측면에서도 매우 중요하다. 거주 공간의 설계시 출발점이 되는 것은 SgRP(Seating Reference Point)이며 이의 설정은 운전 자세에 직접적인 영향을 미치므로 운전자의 불편도 (Discomfort)를 최소로 하며 운전성능을 높일 수 있도록 설정되어야한다. 본 연구에서는 Driving Simulator 를 이용하여 운전자가 취할 수 있는 Seat의 전후, 상하 위치에 따른 여러 운전 자세에서 운전자가 느끼는 불편도 및 각종 Control의 조작성등의 주관적인 Measure와 운전시의 운전성능을 나타내는 객관적 Measure를 측정, 평가하였다. Seat의 위치는 Whole Body Discomfort, Steering Wheel, Gear, Pedal의 조작성 등의 주관적 종속 변수에는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 객관적 종속변수에는 유의한 영향이 나타 나지 않았다. 실험 결과를 바탕으로 Regression식을 도출하였으며 이를 바탕으로 Isocomfort Surface를 제시 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 한국인에 적합한 SgRP 및 Seat Track 설정의 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대 된다.
