P2P-based Regional Matchmaking Techniques for Distributing Redundant-works in Volunteer Computing Environments (자발적 컴퓨팅 환경에서 중복작업 분배를 위한 P2P 기반 지역적 매치메이킹 기법)

  • Volunteer computing is a computing paradigm in which the operations of a large-scale application are processed using idle resources of Internet-connected computers. The redundant-work distribution techniques used in the volunteer computing environment cause some problems like delay of the work completion time or inefficiency of the work execution due to continuous requests of the work redistribution because the techniques do not consider the characteristics of works and dynamic resources. To cope with such problems this paper suggests a P2P based regional matchmaking technique which can redistribute works in consideration of the characteristics of the works and the participant resources. The techniques consist of the profiles for works/resources, the module for monitoring the available resources spaces, the protocols for the matching request/reply, the module for match-ratio calculation, and so on.

  • 토론학습시 보다 자발적인 아동의 참여를 향상시킬 수 있는 웹토론시스템은 시간의 편의성을 제공하고 학습자간의 상호작용을 활발하게 한다. 그러나 기존 웹토론시스템은 능숙한 자판사용능력과 물리적인 교육적 환경을 요구한다. Wiki는 하와이어로 '빨리'라는 뜻으로 누구나 '자유롭게' 정보와 지식을 편집할 수 있는 동적 프로그래밍 도구이다. Wiki를 사용하여 기존의 웹토론시스템의 단점을 보안한 본 시스템의 목적은 학습자의 자발적인 토론참여와 토론학습에 대한 흥미를 유발하는 것이다. 본 시스템의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 시스템은 웹토론에 대한 학생들의 흥미를 높일수 있다. 즉 누구나 관리자가 될 수 있는 기능을 이용해서 학생들의 흥미를 유발하였기 때문이다. 둘째, Wiki 웹토론시스템은 기존의 웹토론시스템보다 사용이 편리하여 학생의 참여도를 향상시키고 토론학습에 대한 관심을 증대시킬 수 있다. 기존의 웹토론시스템은 회원가입을 해야하고 로그인을 해야만 토론학습에 참여할 수 있지만 본 시스템은 웹페이지접속만으로도 가능하게 하였다. 셋째, Wiki 웹토론시스템은 웹토론를 학습하는 과정을 공개하여 올려지는 자료나 다른 사람의 의견을 통해 지식공유를 가능하게 한다. 즉, 자신이 찾은 주장의 근거을 찾는 과정에서나 또 그 근거를 통해 새로운 지식을 알게 되고 본 시스템에서 의견을 개진하고 다른 사람의 의견의 근거를 살펴보면서 지식을 공유하게 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 가정의 전력 사용에 따라 실시간으로 전력요금을 알림으로써 사용자의 선택에 따라 자발적인 전력관리를 수행하는 수요반응 연동 홈 전력관리 시스템을 제안한다. 제안시스템은 수요반응 연동을 통한 사용자의 전력소비 패턴을 이용해 자발적인 전력관리를 하여 저 전력으로 유지되며 응답시간을 줄였다. 또한 에너지 소모와 사용자의 전력 관리 요청의 반응 속도에 대한 실험을 통해 우수성을 입증하였다.

Appropriate App Services and Acceptance for Contact Tracing: Survey Focusing on High-Risk Areas of COVID-19 in South Korea (코로나 19 동선 관리를 위한 적정 앱 서비스와 도입: 고위험 지역 설문 연구)

  • Purposes: Prompt evaluation of routes and contact tracing are very important for epidemiological investigations of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). To ensure better adoption of contact tracing apps, it is necessary to understand users' expectations, preferences, and concerns. This study aimed to identify main reasons why people use the apps, appropriate services, and basis for voluntary app services that can improve app participation rates and data sharing. Methodology/Approach: This study conducted an online survey from November 11 to December 6, 2020, and received a total of 1,048 survey responses. This study analyzed the questionnaire survey findings of 883 respondents in areas with many confirmed cases of COVID-19. This study used a multiple regression analysis. Findings: Respondents who had experience of using related apps showed a high intention to use contact-tracing apps. Participants wished for the contact tracking apps to be provided by the government or public health centers (74%) and preferred free apps (93.88%). The factors affecting the participants' intention to use these apps were their preventive value, performance expectancy, perceived risk, facilitative ability, and effort expectancy. The results highlighted the need to ensure voluntary participation to address participants' concerns regarding privacy protection and personal information exposure. Practical Implications: The results can be used to accurately identify user needs and appropriate services and thereby improve the development of contact tracking apps. The findings provide the basis for voluntary app that can enhance app participation rates and data sharing. The results will also serve as the basis for developing trusted apps that can facilitate epidemiological investigations.

  • 국제항로표지협회에서는 일정 규모이상의 해양의 양식장에는 (등)부표를 의무적으로 설치할 것을 권고하고 있다. 현재 사용되는 철제와 프라스틱 부표는 제작비용이 너무 고가로서 자발적인 설치가 어려운 실정이다. 그러므로 기존 부표보다 훨씬 저렴하면서도, 친환경적이면서도 내구성이나 기능이 뛰어난 부표를 개발하여 어민들에게 보급할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 가벼우면서도 견고한 EPS(발포폴리스티렌, 고밀도 스티로폼)를 내부재료로 사용하고, 외부에 폴리우레아를 충분한 두께로 도포한 등부표에 관한 연구를 하였다.

Design and Evaluation of Role-based Personalized Menu in Enterprise Portal (엔터프라이즈 포털에서 업무맞춤메뉴의 설계 및 평가)

  • 본 논문에서는 업무맞춤메뉴를 설계하여 기존의 연구지원포털에 구현하였고 사용로그를 분석하여 맞춤메뉴 사용비율과 설정유형의 2가지 측면에서 효과를 평가하였다. 사용비율은 연구지원포털의 트리구조메뉴 대비 업무맞춤메뉴의 사용횟수를 비교한 것인데 트리구조메뉴의 메뉴항목수 대비 업무맞춤메뉴의 항목수는 10%에 불과하지만 업무맞춤 메뉴를 사용한 비율은 43%로서 업무맞춤메뉴의 사용비율이 상대적으로 대단히 높은 것으로 나타났다. 설정유형으로는 (1) 사용자별로 사용빈도가 높은 메뉴를 종합하여 모아둔 유형, (2) 담당업무에 자주 사용하는 메뉴를 종합해서 모아둔 유형, (3) 동일업무를 자주 반복하다 보면 메뉴사용순서가 자연스럽게 정해지므로 사용순서 기반으로 메뉴를 설정한 유형의 3종류를 식별할 수 있었다. 이것은 사용자들이 자신의 필요성에 맞추어 적절하게 맞춤메뉴를 설정사용하고 있다는 것을 보여주는 것으로 해석된다. 분석결과로부터 사용편의성 측면에서 업무맞춤메뉴의 도입효과가 뛰어나고 사용자들의 자발적인 설정사용을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 사용빈도가 낮은 메뉴항목까지 맞춤메뉴화 할 필요는 없으므로 트리구조메뉴와 병행하여 맞춤메뉴를 도입하는 것이 바람직하다는 점도 알게 되었다.

Dynamic Behavior Study Using Videomicroscopy in Systems Containing Polar Oils and Nonionic Surfactant (극성 오일, 비이온성 계면활성제를 포함한 계에서의 Videomicroscopy를 이용한 동적 거동에 관한 연구)

  • Enhanced videomicroscopy was used to observe the dynamic behavior which occurred when water containing pure nonionic surfactant was carefully contacted with equal volumes of polar oils such as oleyl alcohol and oleic acid at various temperatures. A key component of the system is a vertical-stage microscope which provides for stable interfaces by locating the oil above the denser aqueous phase. This arrangement allowed intermediate phases formed at the surface of contact to be clearly observed, as well as any spontaneous emulsification which developed. Contacting experiments with $C_{12}E_5$ as the surfactant and with pure oleyl alcohol and oleic acid soils showed little activity below the cloud point but vigorous activity at higher temperatures including formation of an intermediate lamellar liquid crystalline phase. Diffusion path theory, which allows prediction of spontaneous emulsification resulting from diffusion and of intermediate phase formation during contacting processes, was used to understand the dynamic behavior seen during contacting experiments. Tentative diffusion paths for the contacting experiments with pure oleyl alcohol were presented with the aid of a partial phase diagram of the oleyl alcohol-water-$C_{12}E_5$ system.

A Study on the Typology of Social Insurance Policy Instruments in Korea (우리나라 사회보험 정책수단의 유형에 관한 연구)

  • This study tries to find the policy instruments that have used in the process of social insurance policy implementation. The results can be summarized as follows: First, in case of compulsory policy instrument, the government uses the regulation, public enterprise and government insurance in the process of implementing of all the social insurance policy. Second, in the case of mixed policy instrument, the government use the user' contribution in the process of implementing of all the social insurance policy but the subsidy was used in the process of implementing of the medical, pension, unemployment and long-term care insurance for the aged policy. Also, the information and discipline was used in the process of implementing of unemployment insurance policy and the partnership was used in the process of implementing of long-term care insurance for the aged policy. Third, in case of voluntary policy instrument, the government uses the family and community in the process of implementing of almost the whole social insurance policy.

A Study on the Infusion of Public Administrative Information Systems: Focusing on the Social Security Information System (공공행정 정보시스템의 내재화에 관한 연구: 사회보장정보시스템을 중심으로)

  • This research explores the factors affecting infusion of public administrative information systems(IS) and analyzes its impact on work performance. For this purpose, the factors affecting the infusion of IS are classified into voluntary and involuntary motivations based on the self-determination theory that explains individual motivations. As factors for voluntary motivation, performance expectancy, personal innovativeness, and organizational citizenship behavior are proposed, while government influence, competitor influence, and the top-level management influence are proposed as factors for involuntary motivation. The analysis shows the voluntary motivation factors-performance expectancy, personal innovativeness, and organizational citizenship behavior-do affect infusion of IS, whereas the involuntary motivation factors-government influence, competitor influence, and the top-level management influence-have no statistically significant impact on the infusion of IS. The relationship between infusion of IS and work performance is found significant. While individuals are unable to decide on the adoption of IS in an involuntary environment such as in the case of using the public administrative IS, the results show that the factors related to individual autonomy have an important role in extended, active usage of IS beyond the mandatory level.

  • Due to the educational ecosystem in South Korea, there is a significant need to explore a new balance for students who pursue sports rehabilitation education based on their academic performance, in order to help them adapt to their majors, find career paths, and foster motivation for employment. There is a lack of related research in this crucial phase. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the impact of sports rehabilitation education on career aspirations and employment motivation through psychological reactions. The research methodology involved conducting an online survey from December 11th to December 28th, 2023, targeting university students undergoing sports rehabilitation education, with a final collection of 212 survey responses used for analysis. The research findings indicate: firstly, that the knowledge of sports rehabilitation educators has a positive influence on voluntary psychology. Secondly, the competence of sports rehabilitation educators has a positive impact on voluntary psychology. Thirdly, the attitude of sports rehabilitation educators negatively affects involuntary psychology. Fourthly, voluntary psychology positively influences career aspirations. Finally, voluntary psychology positively influences employment motivation, while conversely, involuntary psychology negatively affects employment motivation. These research results are expected to contribute to the development of sports rehabilitation education that influences career paths and employment motivation through psychological reactions.
