A Experimental Study on the Translation from Korean Digital Topographic Maps to Distributed Objects (수치지형도의 객체화 변환에 관한 연구)

  • This is an experimental study to translate the Korean digital topographic maps into distributable information-hide objects, which are designed with object-oriented development's key features ; encapsulation, polymorphism, inheritance, In order to achieve this goal , the characteristics of the data mode and inter-relationships of digital topographic maps are investigated . As a result, it is revealed that the current Korean digital topographic maps, which is organized into so many individual layers of mixed spatial and attributed data, have to explicit and concrete hierarchies in spatial data model and data definition . Due to this limitation , data layer stage and object class stage are integrated. And ISCO(the is-computer -of relationships) mechanism is mainly used to develop the objects of digital topogrpahic maps, which is implemented with spatial primitive classes. the designed objects are coded with JAVA and then testified in web interface.

  • Digital library in knowledge-information-based society of the 21st century should develop legally various digital information resources in order to provide information services to users. This study analyzes and examines in detail the related provisions of copyright law relating to the development of digital information resources(digitalized works, electronic books, electronic journals, electronic reserve materials etc.). This study also points out the problems of the current Copyright Act and proposed Copyright Act of Korea. And it suggests necessary measures and improved plans to promote the development of digital information resources.

  • This research compares and analyzes the legal deposit of national online electronic publishing and related laws that were recently amended in order to preserve the exponentially increasing number of electronic books(e-books). Based on the analysis, it also seeks ways to initiate a legal deposit system of e-books in South Korea. The research, therefore, defines the exact range and types of e-books. This research proposes three conditions to introduce the legal deposit system in order to preserve South Korean e-books. The first is to establish a clear definition and classification of e-books as data subject to legal deposit for preservation purposes. The second condition is to establish a legal system in order to deposit and collect network(online-exclusive) type e-books. The final condition is to reflect the opinion of publishers and to create security measures against any loss of the companies.

  • Problem Based Learning(PBL) is one of effective teaching-learning strategy for enhancing military students' motivation, comparing with the other study method. After monitoring military student classes, we conclude that PBL can enhance the effectiveness of learning in War history case study education and finds merits; PBL assists students to play a more active role in the class, induces students to solve problems independently, and makes the learning military situation real case study. The case study is common in social sciences and life sciences. Case studies may be descriptive or explanatory. It is good for War history education. The demerit of PBL is a costly method as students should spend more time and institutions should provide more manpower and materials. This study suggests that more empirical researches on alternative teaching methods, including PBL, to a lecture in War history education.

Understanding Purposes and Functions of Students' Drawing while on Geological Field Trips and during Modeling-Based Learning Cycle (야외지질답사 및 모델링 기반 순환 학습에서 학생들이 그린 그림의 목적과 기능에 대한 이해)

  • The purpose of this study was to qualitatively examine the meaning of students' drawings in outdoor classes and modeling-based learning cycles. Ten students were observed in a gifted education center in Seoul. Under the theme of the Hantan River, three outdoor classes and three modeling activities were conducted. Data were collected to document all student activities during field trips and classroom modeling activities using simultaneous video and audio recording and observation notes made by the researcher and students. Hatisaru (2020) Ddrawing typess were classified by modifying the representations in a learning context in geological field trips. We used deductive content analysis to describe the drawing characteristics, including students writing. The results suggest that students have symbolic images that consist of geologic concepts, visual images that describe topographical features, and affective images that express students' emotion domains. The characteristics were classified into explanation, generality, elaboration, evidence, coherence, and state-of-mind. The characteristics and drawing types are consecutive in the modeling-based learning cycle and reflect the students' positive attitude and cognitive scientific domain. Drawing is a useful tool for reflecting students' thoughts and opinions in both outdoor class and classroom modeling activities. This study provides implications for emphasizing the importance of drawing activities.

Estimation of future climate change factor based on CMIP6 data (CMIP6 자료 기반 미래 기후변화 할증률 산정)

  • 자연재해대책법 제 16조 6에 따라 기후변화로 인한 방재성능목표의 영향을 고려하기 위해 방재성능가이드라인을 설정하여 운영하고 있다. 2017년 공표된 기후변화를 고려한 방재성능목표 강우량의 단기 할증률은 CMIP5 자료를 기반으로 기본 5%, 관심 8%, 주의 10%의 할증률로 구분되어 적용되고 있다. 그러나, 미래 기후변화 시나리오에 따르면 확률강우량이 늘어나는 지역도 있지만, 감소될 것으로 예상되는 지역도 존재한다. 따라서, 모든 지역을 3개의 구간으로 나누어 증가 할증률을 적용하는 것에 대한 검토가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 CMIP6 기후변화 자료를 시단위로 다운스케일링한 시계열을 이용하여 미래 기후변화로 인한 방재성능목표의 할증률을 산정하고, 각 할증률에 기반한 구간을 상세화하고자 한다. 구체적으로, 현재 기상청에서 제공하는 일단위 기후변화 데이터베이스와, CMIP6에서 제공하는 일단위 기후변화 자료를 구축하고, 분석하였다. 이후 구축된 일단위 자료를 시단위 자료로 Downscaling한 후, 각 이산화탄소 배출 시나리오인 SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0, SSP5-8.5에 대해 앙상블 시계열을 생성하고, 다양한 기후변화의 불확실성을 적절하게 정량화 할 예정이다. 그중에서 방재성능목표와 가장 밀접하다고 생각되는 변수들(연강우량, 8월강우량, 연최대강우량, 30년빈도 확률강우량 등)을 CCF(Cross Correlation Function), ACC(Auto Correlation Function)방법 등을 통해 분석하여 최적의 변수들을 찾고, 그 값들의 앙상블 평균을 통해 안정된 방재성능목표 기후변화 할증률 값을 산정할 예정이다. 169개 지역의 시·군 단위의 티센망과, 238개 지역의 시·군·구 단위의 티센망을 구축하고, 기상청 ASOS(Automated Synoptic Observing System)의 69개 기상관측소 강우관측자료와 AWS(Automatic Weather System)의 419개 기상관측소를 활용하여 지역별 미래 기후변화를 고려한 비선형적 할증률를 제시할 것이다.

Development and application of mathematical activities for gifted students (수학 영재교육 자료의 개발과 적용 사례 연구)

  • This study intends to develope and apply mathematical activities for gifted students. According to the Polya's research and Krutetskii's study, mathematical activities were developed and observed. The activities were aimed at discovery of Euler's theorem through exploration of soccer ball at first. After the repeated application and reflection, the aim and the main activities were changed to the exploration of soccer ball itself and about related mathematical facts. All the students actively participated in the activities, proposed questions need to be proved, disproved by counter examples during the fourth program. Also observation, conjectures, inductive arguments played a prominent role.

  • The purpose of this study is to maximize the development and utilization of digital innovation. First, analyzed the status of industrial development and digital innovation. Second, examined emotion and experience, looked into their types and properties. Third, attempted to develop a more creative and innovative user experience. The results of this study were presented as a theoretical basis, specification of research direction and research scope, and design analysis direction. It is expected to be used as a basic data that can help how to approach and interpret human emotions and behaviors in order to provide differentiated experiences by he essential concepts of emotions, experiences in various fields in the future.

의학교육입문검사의 의미와 구조에 대한 연구

  • 본 연구의 목적은 의학교육입문검사의 개념의 틀을 형성하는데 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 구체적으로 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구는 의학교육입문검사라는 의학 적성측정도구를 개념화 하기위하여 지금까지의 일반적인 적성 검사와는 달리 의학적 인지능력 정의적 심리 구인과 의학관련 배경지식과 사고라는 의학적 적성 스펙트럼을 만들고자 한다. 한국 상황에서 적용가능하고 21세기에 요구하는 의학교육입문검사를 개념화하여 이론적 틀을 만들고자 했다. 둘째, 이 연구는 의학교육입문검사의 개념의 틀 위에서 각 개념을 양화를 통한 측정도구의 가능성을 열었다. 셋째, 본 연구는 본 검사를 통하여 의학대학과 의학전문대학원 지원 하고자하는 사람들에게 다양한 개인의 정보를 부여할 뿐만 아니라, 대학과 대학원에서의 학생 선발의 타당성을 높일 수 있는 실제적 자료를 제공해 입시사정에 유용한 자료를 얻을 수 있다는 의미에서 실제적 가치를 갖고 있다.
