Investigation of Safety Standards for Motorcycle Stand, Rear Registration Plate and Anti-tampering Measures (이륜자동차 스탠드/번호판/튜닝금지 안전기준에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, many drivers of two-wheeled motorcycles in leisure and express delivery industries etc. brought increasing issues for the motorcycle safety. This paper has studied the structural safety of two-wheeled motorcycles considering the regulations for stand, rear registration plate and anti-tampering measures. The authors have investigated and compared a variety of international and domestic regulations and specifications for structural safety of those components. Detailed experimental procedures of stand, mounting for rear registration plate and anti-tampering measures are proposed to secure the two-wheeled motorcycle safety and the outcomes of this study can be used to confirm the Korean motor vehicle safety standards.

Auto Tuning of PID for RO System Using Immune Algorithm (면역 알고리즘을 이용한 RO 공정 PID 제어기의 자동 튜닝)

  • In this paper, the control of a membrane used in reverse osmosis desalination plant by using immune algorithm(IA) is addressed. The proposed algorithm IA of auto tuning method can find optimal gains and compared with conventional Ziegler-Nichols tuning method. The results of computer simulation represent that the proposed IA shows a good control performances better than Ziegler-Nichols tuning method.

A Design of Voltage-controlled frequency Tunable Integrator (전압조절 주파수 가변 적분기 설계)

  • In this paper, a new voltage-controlled tunable integrator for low-voltage applications is proposed. The proposed active element is composed of the CMOS complementary cascode circuit which can extend transconductance of an element. Therefore, the unity gain frequency which is determined transcon-ductance is increased than that of the conventional element. And then these results are verified by the $0.25{\mu}m$ CMOS n-well parameter HSPICE simulation. As a result, the gain and the unity gain frequency are 42dB and 200MHz respectively in the element on 2V supply voltage. And power dissipation of the designed circuit is 0.32mW.

  • In this paper, the authors propose a method of stepwise tuning a controller with unknown process properties through! its step response. A fuzzy controller is chosen to achieve this aim. The main object of this paper is to give knowledge for the improvement of the response, under the limited prop erties obtained from the step response of the process. We obtained the adequate tuning method through simulations of many control objects. And the method of selecting optimal sampling period is also shown.

A Study on the Assessment Factors for Car Audio Sound Quaility (자동차용 오디오의 실내음질 평가인자에 관한 연구)

  • It is getting higher the demand on a good sound in a car. Like some other sensory qualities, achieving a good sound is still treated as a black-box followed by the individual taste of tuning engineers. This study aims to define the attributes of a good car audio sound and the assessment factors affecting the sound quality. With a variety of surveys on professional listening groups and car audio installers, 26 most frequently used vocabularies are selected as typical presentations of car audio sound quality. After repetitions of listening tests with deliberately selected test CD, pre-recorded 15 different digital car-recordings, headphones replay system, and three different listening groups, it is proved that there are at least 5 different assessment factors which significantly affect the car audio sound quality. They are high fidelity, spectral balance, tonal accuracy, sound stage and acoustic fault.

  • Braking system is directly related to the safety of a vehicle and the brake discs are essential part of the braking system. Due to the repeated frictional forces and torque during braking, brake discs are always works at high temperature and high pressure. Furthermore, the brake disc is one of major tuning components in aftermarket, the braking performance of the brake disc should be evaluated for establishing the certification standards of tuning components. This paper proposes the test method to evaluate the performance of tuning brake discs.

  • Discrete-time controller design is proposed using feedback system identification in frequency domain. System Stability imposed by a new controller is checked in the function of a conventional closed-loop system, instead of a poorly modeled plant due to non-linearity and disturbance as well as unstable components, etc. The stability of the system is evaluated in view of Popov criterion. All the equations are formulated in the framework of the discrete-time system. Simulation results are shown on the plant with input saturation components, DC disturbance and a pure integration.

  • 산업용 발전기의 경우 시판되고 있는 발전기의 용량이 다양하다. 각 용량에 따라 내부 임피던스가 틀려, 하나의 제어기로 각기 다른 용량을 제어를 하는데 어려움이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 여자기의 내부 임피던스를 자동으로 계산하여 하나의 제어기로 각기 다양한 용량을 가진 발전기의 여자기의 전류를 제어하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • 1990년대에 이 전 건설된 발전소 및 기타 플랜트 자동제어시스템으로 거의 아날로그 연산방식 시스템이 적용되었다. 이제 장기간 사용으로 인한 수명감소와 고장률이 증가하는 추세에 있으므로, 기존 아날로그 제어시스템을 디지털 제어시스템으로 개조하는 사업이 추진되고 있다. 아날로그 제어시스템에 설정되어 있는 주요 파라미터들은 플랜트의 운전특성을 장기간 반영하여 이루어진 것이므로, 개조에 사용될 새로운 디지털제어시스템의 초기 파라미터 설정에 그대로 적용하면 개조후 시운전이 원활하고 튜닝 기간을 단축할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 진행하고 있는 급수펌프 구동터빈 제어시스템 개조 프로젝트에서 제어 파라미터를 구하는 과정 및 디지털 시스템에 구현할 내용들을 제시하였다.
