  • Studies on the intelligent vehicles that are fused with IT and intelligent vehicle technologies are currently under active discussion. And many new service models for them are being developed. As intelligent vehicles are being actively developed, a variety of wireless services are support. As such intelligent vehicles use wireless network, they are exposed to the diverse sources of security risk. This paper aims to examine the factors to threaten intelligent vehicle, which are usually intruded through network system and propose the security solution using biometric authentication technique. The proposed security system employs biometric authentication technique model that can distinguish the physical characteristics of user.

  • Studies on the intelligent vehicles that are converged with IT and vehicular technologies are currently under active discussion. A variety of communication technologies for safety intelligent vehicle services are support. As such intelligent vehicles use communication technologies, they are exposed to the diverse factors of security threats. To conduct intelligent vehicle security authentication solutions, there are some factors that can be adopted ownership, knowledge and biometrics[6,7]. This paper proposes to analyze the factors to threaten intelligent vehicle, which are usually intruded through communication network system and the security solution using biometric authentication scheme. This study proposed above user's biometrics information-based authentication scheme that can solve the anticipated problems with an intelligent vehicle, which requires a higher level of security than existing authentication solution.

  • 도시생활에서 가장 짜증스러운 것은 자동차 소음이다. 경제발전과 더불어 인구의 도시 집중과 급격한 차량증가는 교통량이 많은 간선도로변을 중심으로 도로교통 소음문제가 야기되고 있으며, 우리나라도 지난 '97. 7월 자동차 1000만대 보유국이 되었다. 도로교통 소음은 자동차에서 발생하는 소음과 차량의 통행량, 차량의 주행속도및 도로주변 조건등 각종 요인이 복합 된 것으로 저속운행이 일반적인 도시에서는 자동차에서 발생하는 소음 중 엔진에서 나는 소음이 대개 60% 이상을 점하게 된다. 이러한 문제점 등을 감안하고 쾌적한 생활 환경 조성을 위하여 환경부에서는 제작차 소음 허용기준을 정하여 제작차가 시판되기전 단계에서 제작차 소음 허용기준에 적합하게 제작되는지 여부를 관리하기 위하여 인증제도를 시행 중에 있으며, 인증 시험에 통과된 차량에 대해서만 제작 시판할 수 있도록 법제화하여 운영하고 있다. 인증에 필요한 시험은 자동차의 가속주행소음, 배기소음 및 경적소음 시험으로써 본 장에서는 제작차 인증시험과 평가방법 등을 소개하고, 아울러 도로교통 소음 진동에 대하여서도 기술하고자 한다.

  • With increase of electric vehicle in the road, the number of charging/discharging infrastructure for electric vehicle in public space is also increased rapidly. To charge or discharge the electric vehicle the user of electric vehicle and service provider should verify the each other's identity to minimize security vulnerability. This paper proposes mutual authentication scheme between electric vehicle and charging/discharging service provider with help of hash function and Message Authentication Code(MAC). Also efficient operating scheme for charging/discharging service system is proposed. The analysis shows that the system has robustness against security vulnerability. Also this system can keep the sensitive personal information of service user safely.

  • Self-authentication technology using electrocardiogram (ECG) signals is drawing attention as a self-authentication technology that can replace existing bio-authentication. A device that recognizes a digital electronic key can be mounted on a vehicle to wirelessly exchange data with a car, and a function that can lock or unlock a car door or start a car by using a smartphone can be controlled through a smartphone. However, smart keys are vulnerable to security, so smart keys applied with bio-authentication technology were studied to solve this problem and provide driver convenience. A personal authentication algorithm using electrocardiogram was mounted on a watch-type wearable device to authenticate bio, and when personal authentication was completed, it could function as a smart key of a car. The certification rate was 95 per cent achieved. Drivers do not need to have a smart key, and they propose a smart key as an alternative that can safely protect it from loss and hacking. Smart keys using personal authentication technology using electrocardiogram can be applied to various fields through personal authentication and will study methods that can be applied to identification devices using electrocardiogram in the future.

  • 현재 IT기술과 자동차기술을 융합한 지능형 자동차를 개발 중에 있다. 지능형자동차에 대한 개발이 활발하게 이루어지면서 무선 네트워크 데이터 통신이 가능하게 된 시점이다. 하지만 외부에서 네트워크에 침입하여 지능형자동차의 보안을 위협할 수 있어 그에 따른 지능형자동차 보안솔루션이 필요하다. 하지만 아직 미약한 수준의 단계에 있다. 이런 시점에서 지능형자동차개발에 문제가 되지 않도록 보안성이 높은 지능형자동차서비스를 위한 사용자 생체정보를 이용한 인증 기법을 제안하고자 한다.

  • Intellgent Vehles network capabilities can cause a lots of security issues such as data hacking, privacy violation, location tracking and so on. Some possibilities which raise a breakdown or accident by hacking vehicle operation data are on the increase. In this paper, we propose a security module which has user authentication and encryption functionalities and can be used for vehicle network system.

  • M2M has shown the advantages of better coverage and lower network deployment cost. Intelligent vehicle section shows severe changes in position between vehicles and has numerous large scales of networks in its components, therefore, it is required to provide safety by exchanging information between vehicles equipped with wireless communication function via biometric information in VANET(Vehicular Ad hoc Network). This thesis is to propose scheme that mutually authenticates between vehicles by composing vehicle movement as biometric information.

  • Smart grid can two-way communication using ICT(Information & Communication Technology). Also, smart grid can supply to dynamic power that grafted to electric vehicle can activate to electric vehicle charging infrastructure and used to storage battery of home. Storage battery of home can resale to power provider. These electric vehicle charging infrastructure locate fixed on home, apartment, building, etc charging infrastructure that used fluid on user. If don't authentication for user of fluid user use to charging infrastructure, electric charging service can occurred to illegal use, electric charges and leakgage of electric information. In this paper, we propose smartcard and dynamic ID based user authentication scheme for used secure to electric vehicle service in smart grid environment.

Study on Status of Barrier Free Certification & Improvement Strategies (여객자동차 터미널 이동편의시설 BF 실태 및 개선방안 연구)

  • This study is to investigate actual condition of passenger terminals, public facilities which are used by unspecified individuals, with high spread effect of certification system of Barrier Free introduced in 2007, evaluate possibility of the certification and prepare an effective way for certification in order to spread and settle the certification system. According to the investigation on the facilities' equipment level of 349 passenger terminals, which being nationally operated, 217 terminals could be certified and non-certified were 58. And, 29 was evaluated as the passenger terminals with high possibility to get Barrier Free certification by small scale of remodeling. The level of Barrier Free of investigated passenger terminals, according to the actual condition with certification index, were 40~55 percent. While the level of Barrier Free of internal facilities of the terminals was over 90percent, the level of sanitary facilities, information facilities, etc. fell short of 50 percents. In this study, pilot project of Barrier Free certification is proposed for enhance of passenger terminal facilities. Moreover, the selection of passenger terminals with high possibility of certification, local governments' strong will as the targets of pilot project for improvement of amenity level and Barrier Free certification and monitoring the project results are the way of the project.
