E-체계들을 위한 루트리-마이어 의미론

  • 이 논문에서 우리는 (축약 원리가 없는) 연관 체계 EW은 이웃 체계들을 다룬다. 구체적으로 우리는 확장 원리를 포함하지만 축약 원리를 포함하지 않는 E (Ee-W) 체계, 특수 주장 specialized assertion(sa) 원리를 포함하지 않는 Ee-W (Ee-Wsa) 체계, 자기 배분 self-distribution(sd) 원리를 포함하지 않는 Ee-W (Ee-Wsd) 체계, 그리고 체인chain(c) 원리와 축약 원리를 포함하는 Ee 체계들의 확장 Eec-Wsa, Eec-Wsd, Eec-W, Eec를 다룬다. 우리는 루트리 마이어 의미론을 사용해서 이 체계들을 위한 완전성을 보인다.

Impact of Student Assessment Activities on Claim and Evidence Formation in High School Argument-Based Inquiry (고등학교 논의기반 탐구 과학수업에서 학생 평가활동이 주장과 증거 형성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of student assessment activities on claim and evidence formation in argument-based inquiry (ABI) for high school students. The participants of the study were 166 grade 10 students from six different classes in the same high school. The experimental group (84 students) was taught Argument-Based Inquiry with students' self and peer assessment activities. The comparative group (82 students) was taught without the activities. Over one semester students participated in five ABI programs that we developed. According to the analysis of the claim and evidence from groups, the experimental group had a significantly higher mean score than the comparative group. The result of analysis of students' assessment in the experimental group, the frequency about accurate and sufficient evidence revealed to be high and students assessed whether peers' claims fit with the evidence and whether peers' explanations of the evidence's validity was sufficient. Students' answers in the survey and interviews showed that the students though they could improve the accuracy of their ideas, appropriateness of their evidence, and the method of presenting evidence based on the assessment results.

  • This essay interprets envy not as a form of conventional conflict between women but as a type of common response of self-preservation focused on envy represented in the American film, Single White Female, and the Korean film, Female Teacher. Although envy is traditionally classified as a feminine emotion, it is an innate human emotion regardless of gender identity. Especially in the competitive era of neo-liberalism, we recognize only its negative side while overlooking its positive side as envy originates from comparison with others. Hedy's mimicking of Allie in Single White Female is not the same as idealized identification because her envy is aggressive and a self-assertive response while transforming Allie's identity. Likewise, envy of a protagonist in Female Teacher triggers an action of self-preservation against irrational social and personal inequality. Accordingly, a type of resistant and critical power resides in envy between women in these films. Therefore, proper recognition of repressed envy is required in order to prevent its transition towards a violent outcome.

  • Now, Korea-U.S.A Free Trade Agreement talk is underway in Korea. In FTA talks, the issues on audio-visual sector including screen quota, opening of broadcasting and telecommunication to the U.S.A. are becoming a hot potato. Globalization has been speed up by mass media and telecommunications. Cultures are no longer bounded by specific place but, through the migration of persons and the electronic flows of information, ideas and images, transgress established boundaries. So issues and debates have to be focused on global culture and cultural imperialism. Some would argue global culture is the consequences of capitalist world-system, so dominance by the center should be criticized and vanished. Some would say that global culture would help recipient society's people with cultural diversify and improvement. The issues on culture and communication, particularly at international level call for our attention in light of cultural identity, homogenization and diversity. Although I criticize the cultural imperialism thesis, I suggest critical acceptance of cultural imperialism. That is the observation of complexity between internal and external dynamics. The process of cultural imperialism is not simple and unitary. It rather involves the various forces of internal dynamics along with external forces.

The Effects of Anxious Attachment on Depression among College Students: Mediation Effect of Self-Absorption (대학생의 애착불안이 우울에 미치는 영향: 자기몰입의 매개효과)

  • According to the notion that anxious attachment may not explain depression fully, there has been abundant studies investigating the mediating factors affecting the relationship between anxious attachment and depression. However, there was no previous study examining the mediating effect of self-absorption. Therefore, the present study examined the mediating effect of self-absorption on the relationships between adult anxious attachment and depression for 283 college students. To examine relationships among variables, structural equation modeling analysis was utilized. and the present study found a partial mediation effect of self-absorption in the relationship between anxious attachment and depression. This result suggests that anxious attachment influences attentional process and as a result, the maladoptive self-focused attention can precipitate depression. Current findings can contribute to the field by providing knowledge about risk factors and cognitive mediators affecting mental health of college students who are in "transitional period" in their life. Future studies can investigate interactions among risk, protective, and mediating factors affecting the relationship between anxious attachment and depression among college students.

  • 본 연구에서는 한국 주식시장에서의 주가결정과정에 비합리적인 요소가 내포되어 있는지의 여부를 정가하기 위하여 Fama-French(1988)의 검증방법론을 이용하여 한국종합주가지수, 자본금규모별 주가지수, 산업 별 주가지수, 그리고 한경다우지수 등을 대상으로 실증분석을 실시하였다. 주가의 평균회귀과정(mean-reverting process)이 주식수익률들간의 음의 자기상관관계를 유발한다는 관찰에서 출발한 본 연구는 미국에서의 실증분석 결과와는 판이하게 주식수익률들이 2년까지의 수익률계산기간(return horizon)에서 지속적인 양의 자기 상관을 갖고 있음을 발견하였다. 본 연구에서 발견된 실증분식결과는 대상주가지수에 관계없이 일관성있는 패턴을 유지하고 있는데, 이는 Fama-French(1988)의 결과에 정면으로 배치된다. 따라서 본 연구에서의 실증분석 결과는 우리나라 주식시장의 경우 주가에 비합리적인 평균회귀요소(mean-reverting components)가 포함되어 있다는 가설을 지지하지 않는 것으로 해석 될 수 있을 것이다. 물론, 이것이 반드시 우리 주식 시장에서의 주가결정이 합리적으로 이루어진다는 것을 의미하지는 않으며, 단지 본 연구에서 주장되고 있는 것은 우리 주식시장에서의 주가결정과정을 랜덤웍과 평균회귀과정의 합성 혹은 평균회귀과정 그 자체로 모형화하려는 시도는 실증적 증거에 뿌리를 두고 있지 않다는

  • Social commerce is a term derived from the fusion of social media and e-commerce. This study aims to classify social commerce benefits as social benefits, confidentiality benefits, economic benefits, and customization benefits based on previous research claims. We also examine the effect of social commerce relationship benefits on trust and flow, and the effect of trust and flow on customer loyalty. Also, we examine how the relationship between trust and customer loyalty, and commitment and customer loyalty varies with self determination. The following are main results of this study. First, social benefits, confidentiality benefits, economic benefits, and customization benefits have significant effects on trust and flow. Second, social commerce trust and flow have a positive effect on customer loyalty. Third, the relationship of social commerce trust, flow, customer loyalty is differ depending on self determination. This study suggests the necessity of differential approach according to self-determination.

Examination of the Learning Motivational Process Models Based on Self-determination theory (자기결정이론을 토대로 한 학습동기 경로 모형 검증)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine learning motivational process models, based on Self-Determination Theory(SDT) in academic settings. I examined if SDT's assumptions would fit for Korean adolescents, using a learning motivation scale(LMS), Basic Needs-autonomy, competence, and relatedness-Satisfaction Scale(BNSS), academic grades and life-quality scales, and also tried to search for the adequate motivational process models for Korean adolescents through regression analysis and structural equation model analysis. The results of this study are as follows. Basic needs satisfaction influences positively on the development of self-determinative motivation, which influences positively on academic achievement. But academic achievement and self-determinative motivation doesn't always influence on subjective well-being positively. And Korean adolescents who study autonomously or achieve good grades, are not better in a dimension of subjective well-being than others. Basic needs satisfaction while growing is more important than any other variables to improve adolescents' autonomous motivation, academic achievement and subjective life qualities.

  • This paper recommends the use of information processing models for student's information literacy education. The author mantions that the proper use of an information processing model help enhance students' self-study, creativity, and academic attainment as psychological tools. An information processing model helps also students reach the Information literacy standards set by AASL and AECT. The author attempts to show the important linkage between the practical application of information technologies during the use of an information processing model and the attainment of the Information literacy standards.
