  • 본 연구는 미국의 사서직 구인광고에 실린 임용자격요건을 분석함으로써 대학도서관 참고사서의 역할과 자격요건을 알아보고 이를 토대로 국내의 참고사서의 역할과 자격요건을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 실무업무가 가장 현실적으로 반영되는 미국의 구인광고분석을 통해 참고사서의 역할과 자격요건을 토대로 국내의 참고사서의 자격요건을 위한 기초 자료를 제시함으로써, 전문적인 참고사서의 양성과 그에 따른 교육과정의 준비, 도서관인력관리, 계속교육에 활용될 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

정보보안경영 전문가 자격요건 국제 표준화

  • 적절한 능력을 보유한 정보보안경영 전문가를 확보하는 것은 전세계적으로 많은 조직의 관심사가 되고 있다. 정보보안경영체계 관련 표준을 다루는 ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 27/WG 1에서는 이러한 요구를 다루기 위하여 2014년 10월 ISO/IEC 27021 정보보안경영 전문가 자격 요건에 대한 국제표준을 개시하였으며 3년에 걸친 노력 끝에 FDIS 투표가 성공적으로 완료되어 국제 표준 발표를 앞두고 있다. 정보보안경영 전문가 자격 요건은 크게 업무 경영 자격과 정보보안 자격의 2개의 범주 나누어지며 각각의 범주에 12개의 자격(능력)을 포함하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 24개의 자격(능력)의 내용을 소개하고 그 함의와 향후의 전망을 논한다.

  • 정보통신 기술의 발달은 도서관에 많은 영향을 끼치고 있으며 도서관의 많은 업무중에서 정보조직 또는 정보처리로 지칭되는 분류 및 목록 업무는 계속해서 변화하고 있다. 그러므로 목록 업무를 담당하는 목록 사서의 역할이 달라지고 목록사서로서 적합한 자격요건도 변하는 것이 마땅하며 그러한 자격을 갖출 수 있도록 목록 교육도 변해야만다. 본 연구는 1996년부터 11999년도 5월까지 American Libraries의 사서직 구인광고에서 목록사서직의 지원자격을 필수적인 요건과 바람직한 요건으로 나누어 내용 분석을 하였다. 또한 가장 중요하게 비중을 두고 있는 요건과 새롭게 강조되고 있는 요건을 목록 교육의 내용 및 방향과 연관하여 제시하였다.

Inference about Skills and Requirements for Logisticians from Job Advertisements by Content Analysis (물류업계의 채용공고 내용분석을 통한 물류인력의 자격요건 파악에 관한 연구)

  • This paper provides a comparison and analysis of job requirements in logistics industry. Over 300 job advertisements were collected from online job sites and companies' homepage, and analysed to explore the skills that employers want from job seekers by conducting content analysis. A comprehensive requirements and skills containing 11 main categories and 36 subcategories emerged from 332 job advertisements related logistics. From the analyses we identify that top three requirements for logisticians are more or less the same for industry employers regardless of industry sector. The findings of this study are also valuable for developing a new and up-to-date logistics curriculum.

  • Compared with the Certification Requirements for Professional Engineer in other country, those of Korean are not satisfactory. This is due to a few facts such as no relation with accreditation of engineering education and no separation of technical field and engineering field. Eventually, this problem makes it impossible to ensure the international mobility of Korean professional engineers. This research reviews the international trends regarding the professional engineer certification requirements, compares the requirements of Korea and other countries, proposes three alternatives for improvement, and suggests two implementation plans for the alternatives.

  • 초음파탐상검사는 그 검사결과가 여타 비파괴검사법에 비해 검사자, 검사장비, 절차서 등 검사 시스템에의 의존도가 높으며, 이중에서도 특히 검사자의 능력과 숙련도에 크게 좌우된다. 따라서 검사결과의 신뢰도를 높이기 위해서는 무엇보다도 검사자에 대해 엄격한 자격인정(Qualification)이 필요하다. 초음파탐상검사는 원자력 발전소 기기의 가동전중검사시 가장 많이 적용하는 체적검사법으로써, 결함검출 및 평가의 신뢰도를 확보하기 위하여 최근 관련 기술기준에서는 검사자에 대해 보다 엄격한 자격인정을 요구함과 아울러 초음파탐상검사 시스템(검사자, 장비, 절차서)에 대한 기량검증(Performance Demonstration)까지를 요구하고 있다. 위의 두 가지 요건을 성공적으로 충족시킬 수 있다면, 초음파탐상기술의 신뢰도는 크게 향상될 것이다. 본고에서는 최근 보다 강화된 원전 가동전중검사 초음파탐상검사 요원의 자격인정요건에 대해 자세히 알아봄으로써 관련 국내 기술기준의 제정과 앞으로 국내 원전 초음파탐상 검사요원에 대한 본 자격인정요건의 적용에 대비코자 하였다. 한편, "초음파탐상검사 시스템에 대한 기량검증 요건"은 초음파탐상 검사요원의 자격인정 요건과 밀접한 관계가 있으므로 다음에 별도로 기술코자 한다.

An Empirical Assessment of Competency Requirements for Logistics Managers of Freight Forwarding Companies (복합운송주선업 물류관리자의 자격요건에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of this research is to identify the competencies required by freight forwarding company logistics managers or supply chain managers. And this research also attempts to show their relative importance and key knowledge areas that require improvement. Using a survey questionnaire, data was collected against forty three logistics and supply chain management skills or competencies, which were then grouped into four categories and analysed. The Analysis revealed that supply chain awareness, ability to make decisions, analytical skill, communication skill, supply chain cost, people skill, and integration of internal or external information flow which belong to logistics planning group are considered the most important competencies for effective and efficient logistics functioning. On the other hand, reverse logistics and IATA regulations from environmental awareness group show little influence on logistics managers for improving their logistics performances. The results have implications for a variety of parties including prospective logisticians, students, teachers and companies considering expanding their business to Chinese market. For example, the results permit companies to employ appropriate logistics managers who are qualified with sufficient skills and competencies suggested in this research. In the case of practitioners, the results provide a benchmark for comparison with their current level of abilities and suggested competencies.

A Study on Analyzing Demands for Professional Librarians in Domestic and Foreign Countries (국내.외 전문사서 수요분석 연구)

  • This study aims to deane prototypes of professional librarians as well as their job requirements by analyzing international demands for librarianship. Demands analysis starts with examining librarian job posting websites in the US, UK and Canada, followed by inquiring incumbent librarians in Korea. As for the job requirements. the study parallels definitions by IFLA and ALA with job announcements by hiring institutions. As a result, we identified 21 professional librarian prototypes by subject(7), task(12) and object(2), and defined the job requirements as 1) MLS or equivalent school knowledge with undergraduate degree of library science, and/or at least six years of relevant business experience, or 2) at least nine-rear experience as a second-level full-time librarian with two-rear experience and/or professional training in the job relevant field.

  • This paper investigats the state of the art of the school library media specialist(SLMS)'s certification in the United States. The content includes development of the SLMS certification, certification requirements, titles, preparatory education programs especially accredited by ALA and NCATE, personnel standards and regulations of states. The basic certification requirements are teacher certification and/or MLIS(MLS), but varying from state to state. Personnel standards are regulated by the Education Department of states, otherwise regional associations of colleges and schools. Nineteen states have the standards and three regional associations among six have very specified ones. The paper also analyzes NBPTS for Library Media and discussions on '65% Solution' which is an education reform movement affecting school library seriously.

  • The purpose of this study is to find changing trends in roles and qualifications of catalogers by comparing and analyzing job advertisements from 1990 to 1997 and to suggest a direction of cataloging education based upon the trends. During the past years, the development of the information technology has influenced upon the duties of the catalogers and the requirements of the positions. Based upon the knowledg of traditional tools for classifying and cataloging, increasing needs for computer skills, networks, supervisiory skills, managerial skills, communication skills, research activities, and ability to adapt the changing environment were required for the catalogers. If s time to prepare a new cataloging education that produce excellent catalogers for the future.
