하드디스크드라이브(Hard Disk Drive)의 트랙 탐색에서의 초기 조건을 고려한 시간 최적화 문제에 대한 해를 보인다. 이에 대한 유도에서는 전류, 전압, 저크뿐만이 아니라 액추에이터의 동역학식 또한 고려한다. 이렇게 구한 시간 최적화 문제의 해는 3차 상태 변수의 피드백 형태로 나타난다. 초기 조건을 고려함으로써 0이 아닌 임의의 초기 조건에 대해서도 시간 최적화 경로를 산출할 수 있다. 따라서 하드디스 크드라이브의 암이 정지 상태가 아닌 상황에서도 목표 위치 수정이 가능하므로 기존의 목표 위치와 다른 새로운 목표 위치에 대한 입력에 대해서도 빠른 응답을 기대할 수 있다.

시청률은 각 방송사의 주요 수입원인 광고비 책정의 중요한 변수이다. 따라서 프로그램 편성자(Program Planner)는 경쟁 방송사의 편성을 고려한 시청률 최대화 전략을 수립하려 하며, 시청률 예측 모델을 사용하여 그 목적을 달성할 수 있다. 나아가 시청률 예측모델이 정확할수록 현재의 임의적인 광고비 책정 방식보다 정확한 광고비의 가격 책정이 가능해져 보다 합리적인 광고 및 미디어 시장 환경을 성립할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근의 국내 TV 시청률 자료를 이용하여 국내 공중파 방송에 대한 시청률 예측 모델을 성립하고, 이를 이용한 시청률 최대화 전략을 제시한다.

최근 입체 콘텐츠 및 디스플레이의 지속적인 발전과 관심도가 증가하고 있고, 입체 변환에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단일 카메라로부터 획득한 다수의 영상을 이용하여 최적의 입체영상을 선택하는 방법에 대하여 제안한다. 이러한 방식은, 스테레오 카메라를 이용하여 입체를 제작하는 방식과 단일 영상의 깊이 정보를 이용하여 입체로 변환하는 방식의 단점을 없애고 장점을 가져올 수 있다. N 장의 영상을 획득한 후, 에지의 방향성을 계산하여 주각을 구한다. 또한 임의의 두 장을 선택한 후 두 영상에 대한 프로젝션 데이터를 구하여 상관관계를 계산한 후, 이를 이용하여 이동벡터를 구한다. 이 두 가지 변수를 이용하여 최적의 입체영상을 선택하고, 입체로 시청 가능하도록 보정한 후 입체영상으로 제작한다. 실험에서는 분석을 수행하여 성능을 평가한다.

A new local model for impact ionization coefficients is proposed to account for a non-local effect. New model uses an effective electric field which comes from the path integral of a tangent electric field at an arbitrary point. The model consists of local variables, such as doping concentration, carrier concentration and gradient of the field, and can be easily applied to a conventional drift-diffusion device simulator. By comparing the results with Monte Carlo simulation, it is confirmed that new model explains the non-local effect fairly well.

건설도면 CAD자료와 GIS자료를 연계하기 위해서는 임의의 좌표체계와 축척으로 표현된 건설도면 CAD 자료를 GIS 자료의 지도좌표로 변환하기 위한 과정 이 수행되어 야 한다. 본 연구에서는 준공과정에서 제출되는 건축물 CAD배치도상의 인접대지경계선 폴리곤과의 연속지적도상의 개별 필지 경계선의 형상 정합과정을 수행함으로써 좌표변환에 필요한 변수를 도출해 보았다. 이렇게 도출된 변환함수를 배치도면상의 건물경계선과 같은 다른 객체에 적용함으로써 개별 CAD자료를 GIS 자료에 연계할 수 있는 실좌표 부여 방법을 적용하고 평가해 보았다.

This paper addresses the output feedback consensus problem for high-order integrators under a directed network with a communication delay. In order to solve this problem, the dynamic output feedback controller is proposed. Also, by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, it is shown that the existence of the proposed consensus controller can always be guaranteed even in the presence of an arbitrarily large communication delay.

얼굴 검출은 디지털화된 임의의 정지 영상 혹은 연속된 영상으로부터 얼굴 존재 유무를 판단하고, 얼굴이 존재할 경우 영상 내 얼굴의 위치, 방향, 크기 둥을 알아내는 기술로 정의된다. 이러한 얼굴 검출은 얼굴 인식이나 표정인식, 헤드 재스쳐 등의 기초 기술로서 해당 시스템의 성능에 매우 중요한 변수 중에 하나이다. 그러나 영상내의 얼굴은 표정, 포즈, 크기, 빛의 방향 및 밝기, 안경, 수염 둥의 환경적 변화로 인해 얼굴 모양이 다양해지므로 정확하고 빠른 검출이 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 피셔의 선형 판별 분석을 이용하여 몇 가지 환경적 조건을 극복한 정확하고 빠른 얼굴 검출 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 포즈와, 배경에 무관하게 얼굴을 검출하면서도 빠른 검출이 가능하다. 이를 위해 계층적인 방법으로 얼굴 검출을 수행하며, 휴리스틱한 방법, 피셔의 판별 분석을 이용하여 얼굴 검출을 수행하고 검색 영역의 축소와 선형 결정의 계산 시간의 단축으로 검출 응답 시간을 빠르게 하였다 추출된 얼굴 영상에서 포즈를 추정하고 눈 영역을 검출함으로써 얼굴 정보의 사용에 있어 보다 많은 정보를 추출할 수 있도록 하였다.

This paper presented a method of extracting algorithm for Edge Multiple-Valued Decision Diagrams(EMVDD), a new data structure, from Binary Decision Diagram(BDD) which is resently used in constructing the digital logic systems based on the graph theory. And we discussed the function minimization method of the n-variables multiple-valued functions. The proposed method has the visible, schematical and regular properties.

The effects of involved parameters to the voltages induced at both ends of an angled two-wire transmission line are investigated for the incidence of an arbitrary plane wave. The minimum level of the induced voltages is found in case that both ends of the transmission line are terminated by the ma- tching loads and the azimuth angle of the incident wave is equal to the elevation angle. A graphical technique is also developed to estimate the induced voltages at the change of the wire radius or tilt angle between two wires.

This paper describes the emergency situation which occurs in Drilling Rig power system. Especially, we focused on power system transient characteristics on propulsion motor load and generator elimination situation in Drilling Rig operation. We performed numerical simulation and analyzed the result for power system transient stability characteristics on each condition for excitation system and governor control system using ETAP (Electrical Transient Analysis Program).
