간호학생을 위한 웹기반 수술간호 학습콘텐츠의 효과 (Effects of a Web-based Learning Contents in Operating Room Nursing for Nursing Students)

  • 최근 임상현장은 소비자의 질적 간호에 대한 요구로 인해 임상실무 중심의 간호교육을 목표로 교육현장의 변화가 일고 있다. 본 연구는 간호계의 변화에 발맞춰 임상실습 강화를 목표로 웹기반 수술간호 콘텐츠 학습을 실시하고, 그에 따른 수술실 관련 지식, 자기주도적 학습능력, 학습동기 측면의 효과성을 입증하고자 시행하였다. 본 프로그램은 대상자의 교육요구도를 바탕으로 6개 모듈로 구성하였고 4년제 간호학과를 대상으로 2년에 걸쳐 시행되었다. 그 결과 본 예비학습 프로그램이 수술실 임상실습 전 간호학생에게 수술실 관련 지식, 학습동기 측면에 도움을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

임상간호사의 간호근무환경과 긍정심리자본이 이직의도에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Nursing Practice Environment and Positive Psychological Capital in Clinical Nurses on Turnover Intention)

  • 본 연구는 임상간호사의 간호근무환경, 긍정심리자본, 이직의도와의 관련성을 파악하고, 임상실무현장에서 임상간호사의 이직의도에 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구의 대상자는 Y시에 소재하고 있는 3개 종합 병원에 근무하는 간호사를 대상으로 하였으며, 193부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-test 혹은 one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, 단계적 다중회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 단계적 다중회귀분석결과 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 간호근무환경, 긍정심리자본과 근무경력이었으며 이들의 설명력은 41.8%였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 임상간호사의 이직의도를 감소시키기 위한 간호근무환경 개선과 더불어 긍정심리자본을 강화시킬 수 있는 중재 프로그램 개발이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

벨트형 손소독제 활용의 효과 평가: 임상간호사의 손소독 수행 정도와 만족도를 중심으로 (The Evaluation of Effectiveness of Belt-type Hand Sanitizers in Clinical Nurses: Focusing on the performance of hand disinfection and the satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 임상간호사들의 벨트형 손소독제 활용에 대한 손소독 수행정도와 수행률, 손소독제 사용 만족도에 대한 효과를 파악하고자 수행된 연구이다. 연구수행을 위해 단일군 전후 유사실험 설계를 이용하였으며, 벨트형 손소독제 활용에 대한 효과평가는 손소독 수행 정도, 손소독 수행률, 손소독제 사용에 대한 만족도로 자가보고형 설문지를 이용하여 측정하였다. 연구 대상자는 일 지역의 종합병원 병동의 임상간호사 50명을 대상으로 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 벨트형 손소독제 사용 후의 손소독 수행 정도, 손소독 수행률, 손소독제 사용 만족도가 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 벨트형 손소독제는 손소독 수행정도와 손소독 수행률을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과적인 방법임을 확인하였다. 따라서 임상실무에서 벨트형 손소독제를 활용한다면, 손소독 수행 정도와 수행률 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

집중치료실 간호사의 진정요법 지식과 간호실무 역량요인의 상관성 분석 (Relationships between Sedation Knowledge and Nurse Practice Competences in Intensive Care Unit)

  • Purpose: For this study an examination was done of relationships between intensive care unit (ICU) nurses' knowledge related to sedation and their clinical competencies in sedation practice. Methods: Ninety one ICU nurses were recruited from two tertiary hospitals in South Korea. A self-report questionnaire was used to examine the levels of knowledge related to sedation and nursing practice competence based on Ajzen's theory of planned behavior. Descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlations were performed using the IBM SPSS 21.0 Results: ICU nurses are more knowledgeable about general information on sedation rather than up-to-date information. Continuing education on sedation was related to difference in knowledge levels. However, the levels of knowledge were not related to competence in sedation practice. Instead, a positive attitude toward sedation practice was significantly related to the subjective norms; orders and goals, perceived behavioral control, practice of sedation, and intention to use. Conclusion: The results of this study provide fundamental information on levels of knowledge related to sedation practices of Korean ICU nurses. Continuing education should emphasize up-to-date information on sedation practice and need for positive attitudes which influence all other competencies towards sedation practices to achieve optical care of sedation in the ICU.

6년제 약학대학에서의 필수실무실습 현황과 평가 - 병원약국실무실습 중심으로 - (Construction and Evaluation of the Student Practice Program in the Hospital under the 6-year College of Pharmacy Curriculum)

  • Background: 6-year College of Pharmacy curriculum had started in Korea, and the students in college of pharmacy are supposed to have student practice in the hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy, pharmaceutical company and administration to experience the role of pharmacists in advance. However, despite Korean Association of Pharmacy Education provided its own teaching plan, most Pharmacy Schools and the hospital pharmacy have difficulty in performing the desirable student practice program because they seldom experienced it. So, we reported the student practice program in the hospital pharmacy conducted by Yonsei University College of Pharmacy prior to the other numerous universities and the evaluation of survey on the student pharmacy practice program. Method: Severance Hospital, Gangnam Severance Hospital and National Health Insurance Service Ilsan Hospital took part in the student pharmacy practice program of Yonsei University. Students took 8-week pharmacy practice in Severance Hospital or Gangnam Severance Hospital plus 4-week pharmacy practice in National Health Insurance Service Ilsan Hospital. Also, students had once-a-week presentation class at school. A survey was conducted to evaluate the student practice program. Results: The presentation class was considerably helpful to share their own experiences at different practice sites in different hospitals, but there were some disadvantages that students could not experience the specific pharmacy practice site on the day of once-a-week presentation at school and so on. The results of the survey on the student practice program reported that students were satisfied with the overall practice program and presentation class at school. Also, they answered that the student practice program in the hospital pharmacy was significantly helpful for planning of the future career. Conclusion: Through the performance of the student practice program in Yonsei University, the adjustment of the student practice program in the hospital is planned to provide better experience of practice to the students and the results will be helpful for the student practice in the hospital of the other colleges of pharmacy.

국내 근거기반 임상간호실무지침 주제의 우선순위 결정 (A Prioritizing for the Evidence-Based Nursing Practice Guidelines Development)

  • Purpose: Thisstudy was conducted with an aim to get a kind of prioritiesin developing the evidence-based nursing practice guidelines in fields. Methods: This study utilized a two-round Delphi surveys from November to December, 2010 with self-administered questionnaires which had a scale ranged from 0 to 9. A total of 95 head nurses working at the forty different general hospitals was asked to evaluate the priorities in four criteria; patient coverage, certainty, improvement in patient outcome and in nursing practice (first round) and 65 head nurses were asked to decide the importance of the criteria afterwards (second round). Results: The relative importance of 4 criteria was 22.3% in patient coverage, 26.5% in certainty, 23.5% in improvement of patient outcome, and 27.7% in improvement of nursing practice as the results of the 1st round and 20.6%, 26.6%, 24.8%, and 28.0% for the 2nd round, respectively. Top five nursing practices showed high scores after considering the relative importances of the 4 criteria were medication, intravenous therapy, checking vital sign, pain management, and diagnostic test or procedures care. Conclusion: It is recommended to take into account of the priorities that were found in this study when someone intends to develop a evidence-based nursing practice guideline.

요양병원 간호사와 간호조무사의 암성 통증관리에 대한 지식 및 수행 (Knowledge and Performance of Cancer Pain Management of Nurses and Nurses' aides in Long-term Care Hospitals)

  • 최근 급증하고 있는 요양병원 간호사와 간호조무사의 암성 통증관리에 대한 지식과 수행 정도를 평가하고자 본 연구는 실시되었다. 광주와 전라남도의 7곳의 요양병원에서 간호사 84명과 간호조무사 72명을 표출하여 자료를 수집하였다. SPSS/WIN 21.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계, 독립 t-검정, one-way ANOVA, 피어슨 상관 계수, 단계적 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 대상자의 지식은 30점 만점에 16.84점으로 나타났고, 수행의 평균평점은 4점 만점에 2.88점이었다. 대상자들의 지식은 교육 수준, 직업, 암성 통증관리지침 존재 여부 인식에 따라 차이가 있었다. 수행에서는 교육 수준, 직종, 병상 수, 암성 통증관리지침 존재 여부 인식, 암성통증 임상실무지침서 비치 여부에 따라 차이가 관찰되었다. 지식은 수행과 정적 상관관계를 보였으며, 수행에 영향을 미치는 요인은 지식, 병상 수, 암성통증 임상실무지침서 비치 여부였다. 향후 요양병원 간호사와 간호조무사의 암성 통증관리에 대한 교육 프로그램을 실시할 때 이러한 변수들을 고려해야 할 것이다.

일개 약학대학 실무실습교육 후 학생의 실무교육기관 및 프리셉터 평가 (The Students' Evaluation of Practice Sites and Preceptors in Pharmacy Experiential Education)

  • Objective: This study was conducted to assess the current status of experiential education, by analyzing pharmacy students' satisfaction and evaluation for practice sites and preceptors for 3 years from 2014 through 2016. Methods: Students evaluated the practice sites and preceptors using a 5-point and a 4-point Likert scale, respectively. Analysis was performed based on the types of curriculums and practice sites. In addition, sub-analysis was conducted based on the types of health-system pharmacy and the community pharmacy. Results: Total 203 students responded to the survey questionnaires. The 3-year average score of students' satisfaction with practice sites was 4.25. In the sub-analysis conducted based on the types of health-system pharmacy, the score was higher in the tertiary hospital pharmacies than that of the general hospital pharmacies (4.49 vs. 4.06, P<0.001). For community pharmacy, the difference in the score of the 3-year analysis was not significant, depending on the types (4.51 vs. 4.33, P=0.054). The average score of students' evaluation on the preceptors was 3.37 in the 3-year analysis. The score was significantly higher for the preceptors of tertiary hospital pharmacies than those of general hospital pharmacies (3.61 vs. 3.25, P<0.001). For community pharmacy, no significant differences were found, depending on the types of pharmacy (3.53 vs. 3.43, P=0.309). Conclusion: The students' satisfaction with practice sites and preceptors in pharmacy experiential education was high. However, it varied greatly depending on the types of educational institutions. Mutual effort between university and educational institutions is required, to narrow the gap in the degree of students' satisfaction.

신규간호사의 임상실무수행을 위해 필요한 기본간호내용 분석 (Analysis on Basic Nursing Content Required for the Clinical Performance by Novice Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify nurses' perceptions of the importance of concrete items as a basis for nursing practice. A total of 179 concrete items for basic nursing, which clinical nurses must know in order to practice appropriately, were identified. Method: The participants in this study were 225 nurses who had worked for two to five years in university hospitals. The nurses were asked to rate the importance of the 179 items (in 39 middle range categories) on a 5 point scale. Result: The mean age of the nurses was 26 and about 54% were university graduates. Of the 39 middle range categories those rated as the top ten were transfusion (4.682), IV injection (4.492), po medication (4.476), surgery (4.469), infection control (4.438), IM injection (4.413), safety (4.388), oxygenation (4.376), diagnostic test (4.366), and fluid & electrolyte balance (4.359). The categories that had the lowest scores were sexuality (3.449), conceptual nursing (3.465), spirituality (3.527) and personal hygiene (3.548). Conclusion: The results of this study show that most nurses evaluate items which they use frequently in their practice as important.

일개 대학병원 임상간호사의 근거기반 간호실무 신념, 역량, 조직의 지원에 관한 조사 (Nurses' Evidence-Based Practice Beliefs and Competencies, and Organizational Supports)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess nurses' evidence-based practice (EBP) beliefs and competencies, and organizational supports to develop EBP. Methods: A descriptive study was conducted using a survey of clinical nurses at a tertiary hospital in South Korea. Results: The survey was distributed to a total of 1,413 nurses and was completed by 1,318 nurses. There were significant differences in the EBP beliefs and competencies, and the perception of organizational supports among nurses at different educational levels. The EBP beliefs, EBP competencies, and organizational supports had a positive correlation with each other. EBP competencies were the highest in nurses with less than 3-years of clinical experience, and the perception of organization supports were the highest in nurses with more than 10-years of clinical experience. Conclusion: The findings suggest that educational programs, training, and organizational supports are recommended for facilitating successful EBP among nurses.
