  • As the safety of unmanned vehicles continues to improve, their usage in urban environments, which are full of obstacles such as buildings, is expected to increase. When numerous unmanned vehicles are operated in such environments, an algorithm that takes into account mutual collision avoidance, as well as static and dynamic obstacle avoidance, is necessary. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that handles task assignment and path planning. To efficiently plan paths, we construct a grid-based map and derive the paths from it. To enable quick re-planning in dynamic environments, we focus on reducing computational time. Through simulation, we explain obstacle avoidance and mutual collision avoidance in small-scale problems and confirm their performance by observing the entire mission completion time (Makespan) in large-scale problems.

  • Teachers should actively maintain and improve their ICT competency in today's ever changing information society. A standardized system should now be developed to assist educators when choosing courses to improve their ICT competency. Previous ICT competency studies have only measured one's current ICT abilities rather than analyzing the skills necessary for educators to be successful in the educational system. This study developed an assessment tool to measure the ICT competency levels of CEOs who have the potential to be the decision makers in ICT education. In order to accomplish this, the jobs, duties, and tasks of educational CEOs were analyzed against the ICT Skills Standards for Teachers to determine which ICT skills are required by educational CEOs. Sixty-three questions were extracted from this analysis, guiding educational CEOs in the determination of their own ICT skills level.

  • Need for agile satellite increases for performing various mission due to increase of satellite image applications and users. In high resolution satellite TDI (time delay and integration) method is adopted in order to improve SNR. But image quality can be degraded by satellite maneuver. In this paper requirements for remote sensing in high resolution satellite with agility are extracted and an approach to operate the agile satellite to perform the missions are proposed. The proposed approach in this paper will be applicable to system level design and analysis.

  • Purpose: The fields manuals which is managed by the each disaster types are the integrated guideline. When the disaster occurred, all kinds of SOPs which are described in the manual does not need. Therefore, the person in charge is confused which SOP is executed. In this study, we propose the disaster response process model based on the specific disaster situation case. Method: Firstly, we define the disaster situation cases which is mentioned in the field manual, and then, we develop the disaster response process model including indispensible SOPs for the specific disaster situation case. As a verification and feedback process, we apply the model to Safety Korea Exercise scenario. Result: We developed SOP model and disaster response process model reflecting the concept of the disaster situation case. Conclusion: Safety Kore Exercise scenario reflecting the developed model may continuously upgrade the field manual.

  • A combat system performs a given mission enduring various threats. It is important to analyze the reliability of combat systems in order to increase their ability to perform a given mission. Most of studies considered no threat or on threat and didn't analyze all the dependent relationships among the components. In this paper, we analyze the loss probability of the function of the combat system and use it to analyze the reliability. The proposed method is divided into two layers, A lower layer and a upper layer. In lower layer, the failure probability of each components is derived by using FTA to consider various threats. In the upper layer, The loss probability of function is analyzed using the failure probability of the component derived from lower layer and BBN in order to consider the dependent relationships among the components. Using the proposed method, it is possible to analyze considering various threats and the dependency between components.

  • This study is to develop a job model through job analysis on port security operation using a DACUM Method. Total 8 duties and 59 tasks are drawn through job analysis on port security operation. DACUM committee evaluated the degree of importance, difficulty and frequency of execution by each work with ABC rankings. In dosing so, job analysis model on port security operation by completing a DACUM research chart including job, duty and task in the field of port security operation is concluded. Such a Job model development could be used as a basic data and information for developing a short and long-run education programme in the field of port security operation.

  • The following study, as the importance of military role in a national disaster is emerging as a part of comprehensive security, there has been a number of elements of social disaster-related support in support of each type of national disaster aimed to improve the military's role towards comprehensive security but there has been no regular study of this topic. The point of this study is to analyze various aspects and hardships during the mission and improve the effectiveness of future support missions by observing and interviewing the military personnel which substituted the role of train drivers in the Seoul Metro in 2016, when the Korean Railroad Corporation [KORAIL] Workers Union was on strike [72 days] which is the longest period of a national disaster requiring military assistance.

  • This study evaluated a novel method of defining the automatic flight path of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for search and rescue missions in a VR environment. The developed VR content reserves miniature digital twins of a building in the fire and a steep mountain terrain site. The users drow the UAV's scanning path using hand gestures on the surface of digital twins, and then the UAV make an automatic flight along the defined path. According to human-in-the-loop simulation tests comparing the novel method with a conventional manual flight task with 19 participants, the novel method did not improve the mission performance but participants felt a lower mental workload. The designer may need to consider the automation support on the vulnerable points of the SAR mission environment while maintaining experts' mapping capability.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the duties and tasks of pre-service health education teacher in elementary school using DACUM method. DACUM workshop was conducted for the fourth year nursing students located in J province who completed a health teacher teaching course and performed practical training course in elementary school. By carrying out DACUM workshop duties, tasks, task-specific importance, difficulty and frequency were analyzed, and were derived with the knowledges, skills, attitudes, tools, and future prospects on job requirements and characteristics. The derived job analysis information was verified the content validity from 6 field experts in school and 2 professors of education. Based on the result, DACUM chart was developed. DACUM chart was consisted of 6 duties and 24 tasks, knowledges, skills, and attitudes for job performance were derived. The result of study showed that health care in elementary pre-school health education teacher practicum was listed as the most important duty. Teaching and writing skills were presented to practice basically. Because the importance and role of the health teachers in school are considered necessary, it is considered to increase institutional support for the development of health education program and the improvement of educational environment.
