아동이 지각한 일상적 스트레스가 아동의 적응에 미치는 영향 : 사회적 지지의 중재효과 (The Effects of Perceived Daily Stress on the Adjustment of Elementary School Children: The Moderating Effects of Social Support)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of perceived daily stress on the adjustment of children and to examine whether social support has a moderating effect on the relationship between daily stress and adjustment. The results are summarized as follows. First, it was found that stress caused by school, family environments and friends had significant effects on the self-concept of children. In addition, it was found that stress caused by teachers/school and family environments had significant effects on achievement motivation and social behavior. Second, the interaction between daily stress and support from family and friends affected self-concept. Furthermore, achievement motivation was positively affected by the interactions between daily stress and family support, between daily stress and teacher support and between daily stress and friend support.

학령기 남녀 아동의 일상적 생활 스트레스에 미치는 내현적 자기애적 성향과 자기통제의 영향 (The Influence of Covert Narcissism and Self Control on the Daily Stresses of School-age Boys and Girls)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of covert narcissism and self control on the daily stresses encountered by school-age boys and girls. The subjects were 517 children who attended in elementary schools in Daegu and Gyeongbuk Province. Self reporting questionnaires were used to investigate covert narcissism, self control and daily stresses. The data thus collected were analyzed by means of Pearson's correlation, multiple regression, using SPSS Win 19.0. The results are as follows. (1) In term of daily stresses, the regression findings indicated the main effect of covert narcissism and self control. Daily stresses increased as school-age boys' and girls' covert narcissism increased or their self control decreased. (2) Covert narcissism influenced more on daily stresses than self control did for both boys and girls. (3) There were significant interactions between school-age girls' covert narcissism and self control in term of daily stresses.

청소년 초기 일상생활활동 경험의 특성화 스트레스 수준 (Daily Life Activity Experiences and their Relations to Stress in Early adolescence)

  • This study investigated characteristics of daily life activity experiences and their relations to stress in early adolescence. A sample of 134 8th graders carried electronic watches programmed to signal 7 times a day for a week at random times and reported their daily life activity experiences when signaled. Boys spent 33% of their waking hours in schoolwork, 46% in leisure, and 21% in maintenance activities. Girls spent 32% in schoolwork, 43% in leisure, and the other 25% in maintenance. Both boys and girls experienced more positive affect, cognitive, and motivation during leisure, whereas more negative psychological states during schoolwork. The major stress was schoolwork-related. The stress was significantly related to objective and subjective experiences of daily life activity.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore potential correlation between the amount of time children spent in child care centers and their daily stress levels. The subjects of this study were 165 children (aged 2~5) who attended a child care center in Seoul. Children were interviewed individually, and tested using 23 picture cards which describe a range of stressful situations. The results of this study were as follows: the children's age led to significant differences in their stress level. The age at which the children first entered the child care center had no significant impact on their stress level. However, the times spent in child care centers showed a significant correlation with stress. The longer time the child spent in the center, the higher the degree of stress they encountered.

  • The objective of this research was to investigate whether emotional experience and change in depression and stress in the regional children center was affected by participating in the recreation program. For the objective of research, pre-post test control group design was carried on to 21 primary school pupils and middle school students who participated in the regional children center after school. Children's emotional experience, depression and stress that children experienced while they stayed in regional children center were measured. The experimental group showed low negative emotion and high positive emotion after participating the recreation program. It can be concluded that the recreation activity in the regional children center is effective in diminishing the children's depression and stress.

  • This study investigated relationships between the after-school extracurricular activities of kindergarten children and their daily stress. The subjects were 380 kindergarten children; they were interviewed regarding the degree of their daily stress. Their mothers completed questionnaires on the children's extracurricular after-school activities. Statistical analysis of the data showed that kindergarteners who participated in extracurricular after-school activities showed a higher degree of daily stress than children who did not. It was concluded that developmental appropriateness of extracurricular activities should be considered, and educational curricular and strategies to help children cope with daily stress due to excessive extracurricular activities should be prepared. Further research on this subject is recommended.

유아의 일상적 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 미시체계 변인 탐색 (An Analysis of Microsystem Variables Affecting Children's Daily Hassles)

  • The daily hassles of 5-year-old children were explored and analyzed as microsystems in order to discover the relative importance of ecological factors in children's daily hassles. The subjects were 322 children, their mothers and 34 teachers recruited from 5 kindergartens and 15 child-care centers in Seoul and Kyonggido province. Children were interviewed individually with pictures showing certain stressful situations. Questionnaires were administered to mothers and teachers. The findings indicated that the microsystem variables of Kindergartens and child-care centers were the most significant factors explaining children's daily hassles. Therefore, it was suggested that the policies and regulations on child-care facilities be carefully developed and strictly regulated.

관절염 노인의 IADL과 Stress, 건강생활동기에 대한 연구 (A Study on IADL, Stress and Motivation on Healthy Lifestyle among Elderly People with Arthritis)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 관절염 노인을 대상으로 스트레스, 건강생활동기, 도구적 일상생활 수행능력에 대한 연구를 통해 관절염 노인의 활동을 연구하기 위함이다. 자료수집은 65세 이상의 관절염 노인 117명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지로 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 12.0을 이용하여 independent t-test, Pearson Correlation Coefficients, Stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구대상자의 스트레스와 도구적 일상생활 수행능력간에 유의한 역상관관계, 건강생활동기와 도구적 일상생활 수행능력 간에 유의한 순상관관계가 있었다. 대상자의 도구적 일상생활 수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 스트레스 하위영역 중 신체적 요인(${\beta}=-0.354$, p<.001), 건강생활동기 하위영역 중 자기효능감(${\beta}=0.250$, p<.001)이 도구적 일상생활 수행능력에 영향요인으로 나타났으며, 총 설명력은 18.5%였다. 본 연구를 통하여, 관절염 노인의 도구적 일상생활 수행능력에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인을 파악하고 효율적인 건강생활을 증진할 수 있는 교육프로그램개발이 필요하다.

  • 트라우마(trauma)는 외상 후 스트레스 장애다. 극단적인 트라우마의 기억은 그 당시에 경험했던 생생한 감정이나 신체 감각의 잔재가 뇌 안의 신경 회로에 그대로 남아 있다가 일상생활에서 사소한 자극에 의해 그대로 폭발 되어 나온다.
