AMBA-based LCD controller design and implementation (AMBA기반의 LCD 컨트롤러 설계)

  • In this paper, we have designed an LCD controller based on AMBA. Normally display systems using the LCD are adopted independent bus architecture for high speed data access. Proposed LCD controller complies with AMBA data format and has an image scaler that executes interpolation for full screen display. This image scaler employs FOI for horizontal scaling and H-Shape pseudomedian filter for vertical scaling. It has been designed with VHDL and verified on prototype board using Xilinx FPGA and LCD panel.

  • 근래에 무인 자동화기술의 발달과 마이크로프로세서 기술의 혁신적인 성장에 힘입어 일반산업현장에서 사용되고 있는 로봇은 복잡하고 다양한 작업이 요구되는 비제조업분야로 그 적용분야가 확장되고 있다. 그 대표적인 분야를 들자면 방사능 지역과 같은 위험한 환경에서의 작업, 우주공간이나 심해에서의 작업, 활선 작업과 같이 사람이 접근하기 어려운 곳에서 인간을 대신하는 작업 등이 있다. 이와 같이 사람이 접근하기 어려운 지역에서 인간을 대신하여 작업을 수행할 수 있는 원격작업 로봇시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 로봇은 6 자유도를 갖는 수평다관절 유압구동형 조작기로써 로봇의 운반 및 설치가 용이하도록 제 1 링크의 분리가 가능하도록 설계하였다. 로봇의 제어기는 전체 제어기를 통괄하는 1 개의 마스터 CPU 및 3 개의 제어보드로 구성되며 이들은 VME 버스를 이용하여 데이터를 전송한다. 로봇의 관리제어시스템은 그래픽워크스테이션을 이용하여 구성하였으며 로봇의 작업상황을 실시간으로 애니메이션하여 작업자에게 원격현장감을 제공하고 작업효율의 향상시켰다.

Identifying Key Factors to Affect Bus Headway Deviation using Hierarchical Linear Model (Seoul Case Study) (HLM을 이용한 버스차두간격 편차에 미치는 요인분석 (서울시사례를 중심으로))

  • It has been known that bus route and company related characteristics have influences on punctuality, but fewer research have been conducted. Independent variables used in this study were selected using correlation analysis, and OLS(Ordinary Least Square) and HLM(Hierarchical Linear Model) were employed to identify factors affecting bus punctuality(headway deviation). The results showed that ICC(intraclass Correlation Coefficient) is 0.10, indicating that hierarchical linear models are more adequate for these data because there is effective variation in the subjects between companies. Punctuality was found to be negatively associated with the number of vehicles, the number of persons per vehicle, and total travel time. On the other hand, average headway and company size have a positive relationship with punctuality. Therefore, the number of vehicles per route, average headway, and the number of vehicles managed by a company should be considered for more accurately evaluating the management of piunctuality.

  • 한국천문연구원에서는 한국우주전파관측망(Korean VLBI Network; KVN)에서 사용할 관측 시스템 중에서 소규모 자료획득시스템(DAS) 구축을 위하여 기가비트 고속샘플러, PC-VSI 보드, 소프트웨어 상관기를 도입하였다. 고속샘플러는 기가비트급 ADS1000, PC-VSI 보드는 VSI-H(VLBI Standard Interface Hardware) 표준을 따른 PCI 버스를 채택하고 있어 일반 컴퓨터에 설치하여 동작되며, 이 규격을 갖춘 시스템과의 데이터 입출력이 가능하다. 소프트웨어 상관기는 일본 NILT와의 연구협력을 통하여 본 연구원에서도 사용할 수 있게 되었으며, FX와 XF 형 2가지를 모두 갖추고 있다. 하지만 현재 구현된 소프트웨어 상관기는 측지 VLBI 관측을 위해 설계되어 있어, 향후 KVN의 하드웨어 상관기와 함께 천문 VLBI 관측을 위한 3기선 분의 소프트웨어 상관기로 개량하려고 한다. 이상에서 소개한 시스템을 좁은 의미로 K5 시스템이라고도 한다. 본 논문에서는 PC-VSI 보드에 대해 간략히 소개하고, K5 시스템을 이용하여 관측한 결과를 빨리 관측자가 원하는 정보를 얻을 수 있는 소프트웨어 상관기의 구조에 대해서도 소개하고자 한다.

  • In this paper proposes an idea for using NFC(Near Field Communication) on smalt mobile devices, you can easily control the electric wheelchair system. In this system with previous researches controlled a power wheelchair in a mobile device using Bluetooth communication, the board communicates with the integrated control of the wheelchair. With smart mobile devices, the wheelchair control board integrating the signal generated by checking real time so that the user can easily monitor the state of the wheelchair. Users are using smalt mobile devices, the wheelchair can be controlled easily, and the setting at any time according to the state of the individual and can be used. HEX format control is directly in hardware, allowing analysis was read, the user settings are typically used to match cards which support NFC technology such as bus card for registration, storing the selected information and enable read and were applicable. By applying this system, wheelchairs oriented aids disabled and older people able to access to provide with stability.

Low-Latency Programmable Look-Up Table Routing Engine for Parallel Computers (병렬 컴퓨터를 위한 저지연 프로그램형 조견표 경로지정 엔진)

  • Since no single routing-switching combination performs the best under various different types of applications, a flexible network is required to support a range of polices. This paper introduces an implementation of a look-up table routing engine offering flexible routing and switching polices without performance degradation unlike those based on microprocessors. By deciding contents of look-up tables, the engine can implement wormhole routing, virtual cut-through routing, and packet switching, as well as hybrid switching, under a variety of routing algorithms. Since the routing engine has a piplelined look-up table architecture, the routing delay is as small as one flit, and thus it can overlap multiple routing actions without performance degradation in comparison with hardwired routers dedicated to a specific policy. Because four pipeline stages do not induce a hazard, expensive forwarding logic is not required. The routing engine can accommodate four physical links with a time shared cut-through bus or single link with a cross-bar switch. It is implemented using Xilinx 4000 series FPGA.

Signal Timing Calculation Model of Transit Signal Priority using Shockwave Theory (충격파 이론을 이용한 대중교통 우선신호의 신호시간 산정모형)

  • This research suggested the traffic signal calculation model of active transit signal priority using a shockwave model. Using this signal priority timing optimization model, the shockwave area is computed under the condition of Early Green and Green Extension among active transit signal priority techniques. This study suggested the speed estimation method of backward shockwave using average travel time and intersection passing time. A shockwave area change is calculated according to signal timing change of transit signal priority. Moreover, this signal timing calculation model could determine the optimal signal priority timings to minimize intersection delay of general vehicles. A micro simulation analysis using VISSIM and its user application model ComInterface was applied. This study checked that this model could calculate the signal timings to minimize intersection delay considering saturation condition of traffic flow. In case studies using an isolated intersection, this study checked that this model could improve general vehicle delay of more over ten percentage as compared with equality reduction strategy of non-priority phases. Recently, transit priority facilities are spreading such as tram, BRT and median bus lane in Korea. This research has an important significance in that the proposed priority model is a new methodology that improve operation efficiency of signal intersection.

  • The purpose of this study was to strengthen the practicality of preliminary teachers in preparation for future education, to respond to structural changes in the teacher training system due to a decrease in the school-age population, and to seek a future-oriented direction for the curriculum of teacher training institutions. To this end, we analyzed the competency diagnosis items of the teacher training institutes in the 5th cycle from 2019 to 2020, and based on the proposal for the development plan for the teacher training system announced by the Ministry of Education in July 2021 and the contents of the 4 discussions, content was presented. The results were as follows. First, to nurture creative and convergence-type talents, teacher training institutions need to develop multi-curricular competency and reorganize the curriculum into a future-oriented curriculum. Second, in order to foster the competence of teachers and preliminary teachers in teacher training institutions, it is essential to strengthen the competence of teachers through the introduction of the metaverse, general teaching methods, and ICT-using teaching methods. Third, teachers' training institutions will introduce and strengthen the 'education practice teacher homeroom system' to strengthen school field-oriented practical competencies, 'dedicated mentor-mentee' centered on seniors and juniors, 'monitoring system' led by university professors, and 'probationary teacher system'

  • Recently, the ubiquitous is handled by maximum topic. New knowledge information and ubiquitous computing evolution have promoted new paradigm transfer and grand change. Also, need technology as powerful engineering approached fairly system and educational guidance side examination necessarily to overcome u-Learning base situation and studying obstacle situations. This treatise embodied handiness examination about attention shortage and excess obstacle (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, low ADHD) who must solve so as to be square and level being increase trend in primary school using USB (Universal Serial Bus) terminal system that allow fetters to OSGi (Open Service Gateway Initiative). That OSGi base USB terminal system is easy preservation of information, safety of network, cost-cutting and maintenance by various ubiquitous system that server that load many USB terminals and OSGi uses an USB bus of high speed and construct network, there is advantage of concentration elevation and so on of week and ADHD handled in this treatise because early diagnosis and treatment are serious. The confirmed system application that can supplement paper and pens examination's shortcoming and could solve examination's problem which use computer, and help in student guidance through ADHD simpleexamination who utilize OSGi base USB terminal system. Is available by game system that system for human nature examination or intelligence test and general exam explaining and level studying, order style question investigation program, studying system for disabled person, majority that enforce in public in school this study finding does together.
