Analyzing financial time series data using the GARCH model (일반 자기회귀 이분산 모형을 이용한 시계열 자료 분석)

  • In this paper we introduced a class of nonlinear time series models to analyse KOSPI data. We introduce the Generalized Power-Transformation TGARCH (GPT-TGARCH) model and the model includes Zakoian (1993) and Li and Li (1996) models as the special cases. We showed the effectiveness and efficiency of the new model based on KOSPI data.

The Relationship Among Domain-General Creativity, Linguistic Intelligence, Korean Language Grade and Linguistic Creativity of Elementary School Student (초등학생의 일반창의성, 언어지능, 국어성적과 언어창의성 간의 관계연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among domain-general creativity, linguistic intelligence, Korean language grade and linguistic creativity of elementary school student. And to confirm the relative predictive power of domain-general creativity variables in predicting elementary school students' linguistic creativity. The instruments used in this study were 'TTCT', 'Essay writing' and 'Linguistic intelligence ' and school grade of Korean language. Self-reported response data on these instruments from 338, 4th grade elementary school students in Seoul were analyzed. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson correlations, multiple stepwise regression analysis and ANOVA by using SPSS 18.0. The major results of this study were as follows; First, the correlations among domain-general creativity, Korean language grade and linguistic creativity were significant. Second, Abstractness of title were the best predictor of linguistic creativity in elementary school students.

Management Planning of Gondola Cars through Efficiency Analysis (효율성 분석을 통한 무개차 운용 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the demand for rail freight has gradually decreased. In particular, the demand in Korea for open freight cars, which classification includes gondola cars, hopper cars and gravel cars has been significantly reduced. The role of gondola cars in the rail transportation market shrank to 14.5% in 2010 from 23.3% in 2001. The transportation demand of gondola cars in the long term is expected to be reduced further. Because some gondola cars have been converted to container cars and various containers are being developed to transport bulk cargo by container cars. However, gondola cars still play an important role in rail freight transport. Therefore, the management planning of gondola cars is needed in order to prepare for the long-term declining demand. In this study, we propose a future direction for the management planning of gondola cars through the effectiveness analysis of gondola cars operation.

  • 오래도록 생산성향상곡선 (또는 학습곡선), 생산함수, 그리고 대체곡선 등은, 서로 관련이 없는 별개의, 그리고 순전히 경험적인 (empirical) 현상들인 것들로서 이해되어 왔었다. 그러나 1980년대 중반에 발표된 Muth 교수의 탐색이론 (Search Theory)의 생산성향상곡선에서 관찰된 제반현상들을 모두 설명함으로써 이들 현상은 하나의 통합이론체계에 의하여 일관되게 설명되게 되었다. 이 이론의 초기형태는 그 보편성을 구속하는 네 가지 가설 위에 설립되었었으나 점차적으로 이들 가설들이 완화되면서 (relaxed) 이 이론은 또한 해독 력에서 뿐만 아니라 일반성에 있어서도 계속 강화되어 왔다. 본 논문의 목적은, 이들 네 가지 가설들 중 유일하게 아직 완화되지 못하고 있는, 실제 현상과 다분히 유리된, 두 번째 가설, 즉$\ulcorner$생산성향상을 위한 탐색과정에서 새로이 발견된 개량 신기술 (또는 생산방식) 은 즉각적으로 채택될 것$\lrcorner$이라는 가설을 완화함으로써, 보다 현실에 대한 해석력과 일반성 면에서 개선된 모델을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 제시된 모델은 Muth 교수의 탐색이론모델에 두가지 변수를 더함으로써 확장하여 만든 모델이다. 이 두 변수는 신기술의 채택 (또는 획득)을 위하여 지불하여야 하는 투자비변수와 탐색과정을 통하여 발견은 되었으나 아직 채택은 되지 않은, 유보상태 신기술의 운영비용 변수(또는 수익성변수)등이다. 이 모델의 내용은, 생산성향상은 신기술이 구현된 (embodied) 장비 (equipment)를 사용함으로써 실현되며, 따라서 창의적 활동의 이득은 이들 장비에 대한 투자행위로서 실현된다는 것이다. 이 모델은 보다 나은 신기술이 또 발견될 것이라는 기대 하에, 현재 발견된 최신기술을 채택하지 않는 투자지연현상을 예측.설명해 주며 따라서 이로 인한 기술적 비효율성의 존재이유를 제시한다. 또한 이 모델은 생산성 향상곡선의 초기굴곡현상, 정체현상, 그리고 도약현상 등을 모두 설명해 준다.

Analysis of Relative Efficiency in Domestic Bank (국내 일반은행의 상대적 효율성 분석)

  • 본 연구는 DEA를 이용하여 국내 일반은행(13개)의 상대적 효율성을 분석하였다. 분석결과, CCR모형에 의한 기술효율성이 '1'인 은행은 5개, BCC모형에 의한 순수기술효율성이 '1'인 은행은 9개였으며, 규모효율성이 '1'인 은행은 5개였다. 시중은행과 지방은행의 효율성 평균 차이 분석에서는 기술효율성과 순수기술효율성에서는 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 규모효율성에서만 p<0.1에서 지방은행이 시중은행 보다 다소 높은 효율성을 보였다.

The Relationship between Subjective Socioeconomic Status, Age and Perception of Justice: Focusing on the Moderation Effect of Age (주관적 사회경제적 지위, 연령, 공정성 인식 간의 관계: 연령의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The study investigated the relationship between subjective socioeconomic status (SES) of 508 Korean adults and their perception of justice (distributive and procedural justice for self and general others), and verified whether there is a moderating effect of age (20s versus 30s and over). A self-report survey on SES and perception of justice was conducted. Then, using the SPSS 27 and PROCESS Macro 4.0 program, a correlation analysis looking into the relationship among the study variables was performed along with the ANOVAs comparing the mean differences of study across age-groups to support the group division criteria. Next, a moderation analysis was conducted. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the participants' SES showed a positive relationship with all sub-factors of justice perception and a negative relationship with age. Second, age had a inverse relationship on distributive justice for self and general others, and procedural justice for self, but a non significant relationship on procedural justice for general others. Third, when looking into the mean differences of the research variables according to age, the 20s had different characteristics compared to the 30s and over. In comparison, there were no significant differences within the 30s and over group. Fourth, the moderating effect of age in the relationship between subjective SES and perception of justice was positively significant in the case of distributive justice for self and procedural justice for general others. In the case of distributive justice for self, the positive slope of the graph in which subjective SES predicts distributive fairness for self was steeper in the 30s and older group compared to the 20s. Regarding the procedural justice for general others, subjective SES was not a significant predictor in the 20s group. However, SES positively predicted procedural justice in the 30s and older group. This study is meaningful since it suggested age differences in subjective SES and perceptions of justice by revealing the different relationship patterns of subjective SES and perception of justice according to age.

Comparison on the Vocational Values and the Science Career Orientation between Middle School Scientifically Gifted Students and Non-Gifted Students (중학교 과학영재 학생과 일반학생의 직업가치관과 과학 진로지향도 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the differences of the vocational values and the career orientation of science between middle school scientifically gifted students and non-gifted students. The subjects were 85 middle school scientifically gifted students and 139 middle school non-gifted students. For this purpose, the questionnaires about vocational values and science career orientation were administered. The results of this study were as follows: First, the vocational values between two groups were significantly different in 'diversity', 'reward', 'social recognition' and 'autonomy' among all 11 domains. 'Diversity' and 'autonomy' showed the highest scores for scientifically gifted students. On the other hand, for the non-gifted students, 'reward' and 'social recognition' showed the highest scores. Second, the grand mean of the science career orientation between two groups showed significant differences. The average of scientifically gifted students was significantly higher than that of the non-gifted students in all four sub-domains. Third, the main effect of the vocational values according to gender did not exist, but there were main effects, including diversity, reward, stability, social recognition and autonomy, between two groups. There was no interaction effect between group and gender in the vocational values. Fourth, there were interaction effects between group and gender in the science career orientation. The main effects existed in four sub-domains of science career orientation. However, according to gender, the main effect existed in the sub-domain 'job preference for science' between the male students and the female students.

일본 - 사업장의 위험성평가 표준모델

  • 얼마 전부터 안전보건경영체제의 시행여부와 관련하여 최근 위험성 평가(Risk Assessme nt)가 각 방면에서 주목을 받고 있다. 우리나라에서는 위험성 평가가 96년부터 공정안전관리(PSM : Process Safety Management nt)가 시행되면서 특히 화학업종을 중심으로 해당 사업장에 적용되어 실시해왔으나 안전보건경영체제에서는 일반업종에도 위험성 평가를 요구하고 있다. 이러한 위험성 쳥가에 관한 국제적인 표준이 ISO 14121 등 여러 가지가 있는데 일본에서는 이미 위험성 평가에 대한 표준 모델을 발표하고 있다. 본 자료에서는 일반 기계기구업종에서의 위험성 평가에 대한 표준모델로서 영국규격 BS8800 부속서D를 일본에서 발표된 모델을 소개 하고자 한다.

Differences in sexual experiences between general and multi-cultural adolescents: verifying regulation effects of fathers' education and sex education (일반 청소년들과 다문화 청소년들의 성 관련 경험 차이: 아버지의 학력과 성교육의 조절효과 검증)

  • This investigation analyzed differences in sexual experiences between general and multi-cultural adolescents using the 7th data of youth health behavior online survey and examined effects of fathers' education and sex education on these differences. Specifically, sexual experiences were assigned as dependent variable, multi-cultural background as independent variable, and fathers' education and sex education as moderating variable. Effects of independent and moderating variables were examined using SPSS 20.0 to perform GLM (General Linear Model). As a result, a main effect of multi-cultural background was verified along with the regulation effects of fathers' education and sex education. Specifically, multi-cultural adolescents had more sexual experiences than general adolescents and the effects of fathers' education and sex education were more significant with multi-cultural adolescents than those with general adolescents. While fathers' education and sex education of general adolescents did not make a big difference in sexual experiences, multi-cultural adolescents whose fathers' education levels were low and those who were not taught sex education had more sexual experiences.
