Analysis of Cafe Interior Design factors using Human Sensibility Ergonomics for Different Sex (성별에 따른 카페 인테리어 디자인 요소에 대한 감성공학적 분석)

  • The difference of sex has been an object of interest and argument in medical, psychological, social, and cognitive science fields. This study started from the question of to what extent does the difference of sex have effect on successful interior design. In strive of resolving this, an experimentation of preference in terms of cafe interior design was performed with methods of human sensibility ergonomics. As the result, the difference of sex in preference regarding calf interior design could be observed. Males have main interest in the intensity of luminance, i.e. the brightness, whereas females attach importance to both qualify of light and color. In addition, there is a tendency for males to see cafe as a public place while females recognize cafe as a place for entertainment. Taking the result of this study into consideration can lead to successful gender specific cafe interior design.

  • 환경디자인은 건축, 도시, 조경 등 서로 다른 분야의 전문가 및 대상 지역 거주하는 일반시민 등 많은 참여자를 가지는 특징이 있다. 이러한 협조설계 단계에서는, 시행착오를 최소화시키기 위해서 디자인 초기단계에서부터 각 분야의 전문가들이 계획에 관해서 협의하여 디자인 내용을 변경해 나갈 필요가 있다. 또한 대상지 지역을 누구보다 잘 이해하고 있으며 계획 후 이 지역에 살게 될 주민들의 참여도 환경디자인 단계에서 고려해야 할 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 여러 분야의 전문가 또는 비전문가들이 서로 커뮤니케이션하고 협조하기 위해서는 누구나가 쉽게 디자인 내용을 이해 할 수 있는 커뮤니케이션 툴이 필요하다. 이러한 필요성을 만족시키기 위해서는 빠른 구축속도, 대화형 기능, 빠른 표현속도, 사실적인 표현기술 등이 필수 조건이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 환경디자인 분야의 전 분야에서 의사결정을 지원하고 디자인 안을 검토할 수 있는 3D CG 시스템을 개발하고 이 시스템을 실제 프로젝트에 적용시켜서 활용하면서 개발된 시스템의 기능강화를 추진하며, 실제 프로젝트 적용을 통한 시스템의 평가를 진행하여 본 연구에서 개발한 시스템의 유용성을 증명하는 것을 본 연구의 목표로 한다.

Earth Construction Interior Applied to Healing Space : Focused on Biophilic Design Concept of Oriental Medical Clinic Interior (치유공간에 적용한 흙건축 인테리어 -한의원인테리어의 바이오필릭(Biophilic)디자인개념을 중심으로-)

  • The earth is a natural material that has natural healing power,,as a natural ingredient, it brings environmental friendliness, emotional. In this Research, for one of the methods to expand the benefits as a healing space, Construction of the Earth design and earth construction methods have been actively used for effectiveness of the Earth in the construction of the interior with the oriental medical clinic. By utilizing the concept of biophilic design as a healing environment design, symbolizing nature such as color, light, plants, flowers, and natural materials such as earth and wood was directed as oriental medicine interiors. In addition, the space was divided according to the movement of patients and used different Earth construction method to each of the space for the distinction and differentiation according to the characteristics of each space. At this time, the Earth was constructed with materials and finishing materials that meet the highest grade of HB (Healthy Building), an eco-friendly building material certification grade without additives, so that the interior and medical treatment concept can be done at the same time. By using Earth as the basis of elements in the construction, and the design of healing space, patient the concept of Biophillic as a healing environment design. This may serve as a technical, aesthetic, and cultural basis for constructing a healing space by Earth in the future-oriented alternative, it may lead to necessity of eco-friendly and ecological architecture, and it may be an opportunity to expand the application area of earth in architectural design.

  • The current global spread of communal residential culture and the trend of continuing increase of newly built apartment environment are increasing the demand of home network products for each residential space and among households. The continuing advancement of ubiquitous and the introduction and development of home network system are promoting the demand for the product design. The residential culture change and the apartment interior design change are having mutual effects on the lifestyle of residents and the product design and demand new product design. Coordination with interior products, interior style and products, product and fashion design and reconstruction and fusion between the products and their element factors are the core element of this design study. Based on this, integrated design strategy and concept research and analysis were studied for the design process, and have been expressed in three dimension design through which the design functionality and the external aesthetical design can correspond to each other. It's because the aspect of the future development prospect can be predicted in detail by presenting practical design plan.

  • 시트 커버 직물은 철도차량 내부 인테리어와 실내를 구성하며, 시각적으로 커버 직물의 디자인 요소 중 패턴과 쾌적한 커버지가 철도차량에 대한 전체적인 이미지를 형성하게 된다. 본 연구는 한국인의 감성에 따른 시트 패던 디자인과 쾌적한 시트 커버 직물의 요건을 제시하고자 한다. 디자인 분석체계는 패턴 디자인의 최소단위를 Pattern Primitive(PP), 최소 반복 단위를 Repealed Pattern Unit(RPU)로 개념화하여 분류하여 파악한다. 또한 쾌적하고 안락한 시트를 위해서 착석 상태에서의 열수분 전달특성과 직물의 발수도, 일광견뢰도, 마찰견뢰도, Q-max, 공기투과도, 마찰대전압 등 물리적 특성을 비교한다.

  • Present age are embossing importance and role of tourism industry according to increase of tourists number by internationalization gradually. Susan is necessity to ready our unique cultural special quality that is correct to this because is intending international sightseeing city in APEC, PIFF etc. Specially, the hotel does the mediation deposit role which provides the place it will be able to experience our specific culture in the tourists. The Comodo-Hotel situated in Jung-gu, Susan has elements the Korean traditional culture, but there is problem that these elements is not applied to room interior. Therefore, hotel room remodeling applied to Aesthetic Attributes of the Korea Traditional does so that tourists do it so that may experience our culture familiarly and advances continuously and preserves and inherits our culture together and become universal culture. Target hotel room chooses by Standard-double, Deluxe-twin, Semi-Suite-ondol three type and applies modernity and Traditional characteristics of Korean culture variously and proposes interior remodeling.

디지털 디자인 및 패브리케이션 통합 스튜디오 교육 사례 소개 -조지아텍 디지털빌딩랩에서의 인테리어패널 제작

  • 본 글을 통해 학생들과 함께 수행한 다양한 디지털 디자인 모델을 기반으로 5가지의 디지털 패브리케이션 방식을 적용하여 여러 실제 인테리어패널의 제작 과정 및 그 결과물들을 요약적으로 소개하였다. 해당 과정은 기존의 분리된 설계와 제작 및 시공이 아닌, 설계-제작 통합적인 접근방법을 활용함으로써 학생들로 하여금 디지털 디자인과 패브리케이션의 효과를 극대화 할 수 있음을 체득하도록 하였다. 패브리케이션 기기 및 재료 등의 차이점에 따라 실제 구현된 모델과 원래의 디지털 모델과의 형상적인 차이점은 아직까지 한계점으로 남을 수 있지만, 비정형적으로 생성된 디지털 디자인의 형상이 직접적으로 실현이 가능하다는 점에서 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다. 또한 패러매트릭 모델링 기법이나 실제 제작 경험이 거의 없는 학생들을 대상으로 개별적인 교육이 아닌 설계-제작 통합적인 교육을 실시함으로써 각 요소들이 어떻게 유기적으로 관련되어 디지털 디자인 과정이나 패브리케이션과정에서 상호 보완적으로 중요한지 직접 체득할 수 있도록 하였다는데 의의가 있다. 본 글에서 소개한 재료를 깎는 등의 방식인 "마이너스"의 방식이 아닌 3D프린팅과 같이 재료를 이용해 만들어가는 "플러스"적인 방식 또한 해당 사례에서 수행되었으며 마찬가지로 다양한 특성을 지니고 있으나, 본 글에서는 전자의 방식에 대해 주로 논하였다. 본 글에서 다룬 제작기법뿐만 아니라 3D프린팅 기술의 발전과 보급에 따라 디지털 패브리케이션 역시 다양하게 진보하고 있으며, 팹랩 등을 통한 학교에서의 건축설계 교육도 다양하게 진화하고 있다. 본 사례 및 기타 실험적인 교육과 선도적인 여러 시도를 통해서, 디지털 디자인과 패브리케이션 영역을 확장시켜나가고 해당 기술의 발전에 적극적으로 보조할 수 있는 교육과정을 수립하고 이행하는데 일조 할 수 있기를 희망한다.

A Study on the Development of Interior Design Service for Autonomous Vehicles - Focusing on STEEP analysis Techniques - (자율주행차 인테리어 디자인서비스 개발연구 - STEEP 분석 기법을 적용한 사례 중심으로 -)

  • This study focused on indoor spaces and convenience devices among vehicle interior designs suitable for the autonomous driving era, and presented an interior design model for future automobiles by applying the STEEP analysis method. The service design methodology is applied to deal with changes in display devices installed for the purpose of rearranging layouts and providing driver-centered information. Changes in types and installation locations of displays for various purposes such as connected and infotainment are expected. In particular, through this analysis, trends and experiences through indoor interior research in future self-driving cars will be studied, and subsequent studies will be used as basic data for actual development and application. Key drivers were extracted after deriving future trends linking the research project conducted in five stages to STEEP and consulting experts through FGI. Through this, it was later presented as a direction for indoor design. Through user-centered participatory design methods, emotional keyword derivation methods were used, summarized the derived drivers in five major trends in the future society, and each derived drivers were grouped to consider the relevant technology fields, and added elements to the autonomous driving level. This is an indoor ray viewed from the perspective of various social issues as well as personal tendencies in the future self-driving car industry.

Analysis of Interior Design Elements in Food and Beverage Applying the Psychological Process of Purchasing(AIDMA) Model (구매심리과정(AIDMA)모델을 적용한 식음공간의 실내디자인요소 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental data that can improve added value of commercial space strategically using the identification of relationship between the process of consumers' purchasing psychology (AIDMA : Attention, Interest, Desire, Memory, Action) and elements of interior design. For this purpose, case study and survey were carried out on food and beverage spaces, where they were doing business for more than two years, were selected from the ones appeared in the interior journal "A." Based on the study, basic details including a ground plan, design summary and representative image were identified through preliminary research, and a researcher visited the target spaces and carried out a research and analysis on interior design elements. Three spaces among targets of the case study were selected to identify the relation between design elements and AIDMA items which consumers feel, and the survey was conducted on the customers of the selected food and beverage spaces. Results of the case study on the 18 food and beverage spaces showed that features of the each of AIDMA items in material and color elements were most well expressed. As a result of survey conducted on visitors of each food and beverage space, features of each item were expressed in overall design elements. In particular, space elements and color elements in "Space 1," space elements and lighting elements in "Space 2" and space elements, furniture & objet elements in "Space 3" were most well expressed in each space. There were slight differences depending on individual characteristics such as design concept, location and business operation of target food and beverage spaces but attributes of AIDMA items were remarkably recognized in common in the space elements.

Extraction of Representative Emotions for Evaluations of Tactile Impressions in a Car Interior (자동차 인테리어의 촉감 평가를 위한 대표감성 추출)

  • There are few that evaluate tactile emotion as it pertains to car interior parts, while studies on visual evaluations of car interiors as well as usability tests in a visual sense are numerous. The purpose of this study is to determine typical in-vehicle tactile emotions so that they can be used to evaluate tactile impressions of car interior parts. 52 words related to tactile impressions of car interiors were gathered from a survey in conjunction with an in-vehicle test, interviews with the car salespersons, and an analysis of car reviews. After a factor analysis with 52 words, 10 categories of major tactile emotions were clustered. These were roughness, toughness, friction, comfortability, stiffness, softness, temperature, sleekness, familiarity, and flexibility. These representative tactile emotions regarding a car interior can be used to evaluate tactile impressions of surfaces such as leather, plastic, metal and wood when used as parts in car interiors.
