The Effect of Syllable Frequency, Syllable Type and Final Consonant on Hangeul Word and Pseudo-word Lexical Decision: An Analysis of the Korean Lexicon Project Database (한글 두 글자 단어와 비단어의 어휘판단에 글자 빈도, 글자 유형, 받침이 미치는 영향: KLP 자료의 분석)

  • This study attempted to find out how lexical decision of two-syllable words or pseudo-words is affected by syllabic information, such as syllable frequency, syllable (i.e. vowel) type, and presence of final consonant (i.e. batchim), through the analysis of the Korean Lexicon Project Database (KLP-DB). Hierarchical regression of RT data showed that lexical decision of words was influenced by the frequency of the first syllable, the syllable type of the first and second syllables, batchim for the first and second syllables, and also by the interaction of the two syllable types and the interaction of syllable frequency and batchim of the second syllable. For pseudo-words lexical decision was influenced by the frequency of the first and second syllables, syllable type of the first syllable, and batchim for the first and second syllables, and also by the interaction of the two syllable frequencies, the interaction of the two syllable types, and the interaction of syllable frequency and batchim of the first syllable. Word frequency had a strong effect on lexical decision of words, while syllabic information had a stable effect on the lexical decision of pseudo-words. These results indicate that syllabic information should be seriously considered in constructing word and pseudo-word lists and interpreting lexical decision time. Understanding the effect of syllabic information will also contribute to the understanding of word recognition process.

  • 본 논문에서는 크기, 회전, 위치의 변환과 물체의 가리워짐, 복잡한 이미지에 대해서도 강인하게 동작하는 새로운 물체 인식 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 기하학적 해싱 알고리즘에서 착안한 정합 방식과, 새롭게 정의된 엔트로피 정합 측도를 도입함으로써, 노드 간의 대응 과정 없이도 물체의 전체 구조정보를 한꺼번에 정합에 이용 할 수 있게 하여, 기존의 노드 대응에 기반한 그래프 정합 기법이 가지고 있는 조합적 계산 복잡도를 개선하고, 동시에 노드 정보의 손실과 경험적으로 정해주어야 하는 변수들을 최소화 하였다. 속성 관계 그래프에 기반한 정합 기법과 제안 기법과의 성능 비교 실험 결과 정확도와 인식 속도 측면에서 제안 기법이 보다 좋은 성능을 보임을 확인 하였다.

Approaches to measurement system analysis in quality management (품질경영에서 측정시스템분석 방안)

  • There should be no problem in the measurement system for scientific quality management. In this paper, we want to correctly identify the factors that can affect the measurement results during the measurement process and identify what causes them when the measurement results cause problems in terms of location and variation. Variations in the measurement system are largely described in terms of location and dispersion. Location-related attributes are accuracy, stability, and linearity while dispersion-related attributes are reproducibility and repeatability. Analyzing the factors associated with dispersion is an R&R analysis, in which the size of repeatability and reproducibility is represented by a range of differences between multiple measurements and a range of differences between measurements, and 99% of dispersion is determined. Experimental design can also be used for measurement system analysis. Proper analysis is performed only when the factors causing the fluctuation, the worker and the product, are correctly identified as random or fixed factors.

  • In this paper, we proposed the relay node selection scheme using property of node such as velocity, direction in Delay Tolerant Networks. the existing selection scheme is caused the problem increasing the transmission delay and packet loss, if select the relay node for different mobile with destination. To overcome this problem, we proposed the relay node selection scheme using the property of mobile node. the proposed scheme represents and shares the property of mobile node. The proposed algorithm assumed the sketchy position of node from mobile node delivering property of destination. In addition, the propose algorithm recognizes and analyzes the context of mobile node to provide the relay node transferring the data efficiently. The simulation result provides the better result in terms of transmission delay and packet delivery ratio by selecting transmission by relay node according property of node.

A Study on the Effect of Presence and Flow in VR Advertising: Focused Memory Information and Attitude toward Advertising (가상현실 광고에서 프레즌슨(Presence)과 플로우(Flow)에 대한 영향 연구 : 기억정보와 광고태도에 대한 효과를 중심으로)

  • This study presence in VR advertising into three types presence. Further, through an experiment, the study empirically verifies the kind of recalled information depending on the flow which forms users' attitudes towards the content. The experiment was conducted with a factor design between 3X2 subjects. Hyundai Motor's Ioniq VR video was conducted, and a questionnaire of 143 subjects was used for the study. The results revealed that positive attitudes were formed towards the advertisement used in the experiment when the level of emotional presence was the highest. In addition, higher flow levels established positive attitudes towards the advertisement. and Cognitive presence's effects on memory, ARM such as product-attribute information was found to increase when the flow level is high; however, GRM such as overall product evaluation was found to increase when the flow level is low.

Investigating the Impact of Affective Factors on Self-disclosure

  • One of the important research streams in the privacy literature for the past decade has been to discover factors affecting the decision-making process related to self-disclosure, called the cost-benefit analysis. However, although human behavior is greatly influenced by affective as well as cognitive factors, most of the factors found in previous studies are those with cognitive properties. Based on the awareness of this imbalanced situation, the study examines the role of affective factors on self-dislosure decision-making, especially SNS enjoyment and SNS fatigue. As a result of data analysis, the study finds that the influence of these affective factors is significant, and the influence of SNS enjoyment is greater than that of SNS fatigue. As for the relationship between the affective factors and the decision-making factors, the study finds that the positive affect(enjoyment) relates to only the positive evaluation factor(benefit) and the negative affect(fatigue) relates only the negative evaluation factor(cost), which demonstrate the congruent effect mechanism. Based on the result, the study discusses meaningful implications and suggestions for future studies.

  • 디지털 테크놀로지의 비약적인 발전으로 우리는 연령과 계층을 막론하고 실생활 측면에서 사용자 환경의 변화, 디자인 시각의 변화 등 많은 변화의 사례들을 인지할 수 있다. 그 중에서도 최근 유아들의 전유물이었던 완구 시장이 학생, 성인들 대상으로 마케팅이 확장되면서 기존에 없었던 보다 지능적인 시스템과 다양한 콘텐츠를 보유하고 혁신적인 인터페이스를 갖춘 디지털 인텔리전트 브릭(Digital Intelligent Brick)완구가 시장을 빠르게 확대해 나가고 있다. 이처럼 아날로그 브릭에서 디지털 브릭으로의 새로운 변화를 주도한 대표적인 예로는 MIT와 공동연구로 개발된 로보틱스 인벤션 시스템(Robotics Invention System)인 레고(Lego)의 '마인드스톰'을 들 수 있다. 인텔리전트 브릭 시스템 완구는 Stud와 Tube의 Elements로 이루어진 기본적이고 반복적인 재료의 속성에서 시스템의 무한한 가변성과 사용자의 다양한 조건에 맞춘 인터페이스를 적용함으로써 창의적 결과물로의 확장성을 나타내고 있다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 테크놀로지를 기반으로 한 사용자중심 콘텐츠 속성을 지닌 인텔리전트 브릭 시스템에서의 시스템 구조 가변성 및 인터페이스 디자인의 확장성, 그리고 사용자 인터랙션 측면에 관하여 분석해 보고자 한다. 이를 토대로 인텔리전트 브릭 시스템이 향후 디지털 디자인 산업의 다양한 측면에서 보다 적극적으로 활용될 수 있는 기초를 제시하는 데 본 연구의 목적이 있다고 할 것이다.

Concept Analysis of Frail Elderly based on Walker and Avant's Method (Walker와 Avant 방법에 근거한 허약 노인 개념 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the concept of the frail elderly and to obtain theoretical evidence. The research method was conducted using the basic principles for conceptual analysis of Walker and Avant(2005). As a Result of a review of the literature about how to utilize the concept of a frail elderly, frail elderly might be in the intermediate state of health and disease. They can be defined as physically vulnerable in the sarcopenia, inflammation, insulin resistance, and preceding advanced disease, lead to hospitalization, falls, disability, and death. The attributes were physiological, psychological, and socio-environmental and economic factors, so they had multidimensional factors. They were required the assist daily living of another person. Also, their attributes had decreased the amount of recovery time and degree, and exhaustion. The attributes of frail elderly consisted of these facts: dynamic process, multidimensional factors, dependency, vulnerability. The frail elderly was a dynamic process that involves the possibility of change to health and disease, and include physical, mental, cognitive, and social environmental factors. In addition, the frail elderly was difficulty in daily life, physical vulnerability and difficulty in adaption. In conclusion, frail elderly as defined by the results of this study will contribute to the foundation of health care systems, including community visiting nursing to understand the level of frail elderly and systemic management to do not go into long term care.

  • 화장품은 그 어떤 제품보다도 소비자가 사용 시 느끼는 관능특성 및 그에 대한 만족도가 중요한 제품이다. 자연스러우면서도 가벼운 메이컵이 유행함에 따라 페이스 파우더를 사용하는 소비자의 비중이 높아지고 그에 따라 다양한 관능특성을 가진 페이스 파우더들이 개발되고 있다. 사전 조사에 따르면 페이스 파우더 사용자들의 사용이유는 자연스러운 화장 및 가벼운 화장, 화사해 보임(블루밍 효과) 등이 주를 이루며 페이스 파우더 사용 시에 주요하게 느끼는 관능특성으로는 파우더 입자에 관한 사항과 화장상태에 관한 사항이 동시에 고려되는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 평상시에 페이스파우더를 주로 사용하는 여성들을 대상으로 다양한 페이스파우더들을 실제 화장단계에 따라 사용하면서 인지되는 페이스 파우더의 관능특성들을 도출하게 한 결과 중 19가지 관능특성 평가 용어가 도출되었으며 이 용어들은 다시 입자 및 도포 요인/촉촉함 및 매트함 요인/색상 및 블루밍 요인의 세가지 요인으로 분류되었다. 이러한 페이스파우더의 주요 관능특징요인과 소비자들이 중요하게 생각하는 관능특성을 적절히 조합하여 각각의 소비자군들이 선호하는 관능속성의 제품을 설계하고 평가할 수 있는 평가방법을 개발하였고 주후 제품개발에 활용하고자 한다.

A Study on the Cognition Distance of Separately Shelved Items by Multi-dimensional Scaling Analysis in Children's Libraries (다차원척도법을 이용한 어린이도서관 별치 자료에 대한 인지 거리 연구)

  • This study conducted a survey to measure recognition distance between the materials which are located separately in a children's library targeting 200 elementary school lower grade students, higher grade students, and school parents(adults). And compared recognition distance between the elements of materials of individual visitor group with multidimensional scaling and K-mean group analysis. Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) is a technique for projecting the cognitive state in space by evaluating the similarity or attribute of the analysis target. Even though it is mainly used for market diagnosis in marketing, It can also be applied to present an ideal physical layout plan by analyzing the distance. As a result of analysis, the main discoveries are as follows. First, elementary school students cognize child, baby and computer materials should be adjacent as a same group. But recognition of adults(school parents) is reflected by differing from elementary school students vastly. They cognize that computer materials should be formed as a special group separated from child and baby's materials. Second, elementary school higher graders and adults(school parents) groups also want to separate their main reading materials from baby's book, therefore They both want to secure silent reading space separating from baby. Third, as a result to confirming how this recognition distance system of materials is reflected in a real children's library through three children's libraries in Y-gu, Incheon, there is no library with structure according perfectly with a recognition system of a particular class, but a recognition system of adults and elementary school students is partially reflected because baby, child and computer materials, and baby and child materials are commonly separated and placed. It is difficult to insist that a recognition system of a visitor group, especially a recognition system of children is absolute consideration conditions in material placement of a children's library. However, understanding cognition of the user groups can be an important evidentiary factors to offer differentiated service space according to visitors and effective placement of the elements of library resources.
