  • This study aims to determine whether ESG performance positively affects foreign ownership for listed firms that publish sustainability reports. Furthermore, we test whether the disclosure of environmental information in the sustainability report in accordance with the TCFD recommendations moderates the relationship between ESG performance and foreign ownership. The results of the empirical analysis are as follows. First, there is a positive correlation between ESG performance in a given year and foreign ownership in the following year, i.e., the higher a firm's ESG performance, the higher its foreign ownership. Second, the presence of environmental disclosure in accordance with the TCFD recommendations positively moderates the relationship between ESG performance and foreign ownership, i.e., environmental disclosure in accordance with the TCFD recommendations strengthens the positive relationship between ESG performance and foreign ownership. In conclusion, this study shows that foreign investors invest more in companies with better ESG performance, and the effect is stronger for companies that disclose environmental information in accordance with TCFD recommendations.

It was tested with sample of responses to the questionnaires for 156 entrepreneurs of venture businesses which are under 3 years since they were founded. Findings of this study are as follows: First, the entrepreneur's self-efficacy was shown to have a significant effect on networking and entrepreneurial performance. Second, patience with ambiguity was shown not to have a significant effect on networking and entrepreneurial performance. Third, networking was shown to have an effect on entrepreneurial performance, and among the components of networking activity, network frequency and reliability were shown to significantly influence entrepreneurial performance, while network range was shown not to have a significant effect on it. Therefore, for performance improvement of start-up enterprises, rather self-efficacy of the entrepreneur's cognitive characteristic than the psychological characteristic seems more important. Also, with a practical suggestion that for the networking activity of entrepreneurs of venture businesses, network frequency and reliability may have a more critical effect rather on entrepreneurial performance than network range, the limitation and direction of this study are presented.

  • Robot technology has become a crucial part of today's business operation. In fact, more manufacturing firms have been utilizing robot technology in order to increase operational efficiency and productivity. Thus, this study develops the research model investigating firms; behavior for process innovation with intelligent robot. Three categories - Technical, Entrepreneur, and Environmental characteristic - are proposed in the research model as determinants of process innovation. These three characteristics include six variables(Perceived Direct Usefulness, Perceived Indirect Usefulness, Innovation, Risk Senstivity, Perceived Industry Pressure, and Perceived Government Pressure) as influencing factors on process innovation. The data from 77 employee at manufacturing firms were analyzed to test proposed hypotheses. The results reveal that all variables with exception of Perceived Government Pressure have a significant influence on process innovation. Based on the study results, theoretical and practical implications for process innovation with intelligent robot technology are discussed.
