Effect of Perceived Service Quality on Service Value and Satisfaction in College Students (전문대학 체육전공자의 인지된 교육서비스품질이 서비스가치 및 학생만족에 미치는 영향)

  • The study aims to figure the effect quality of perceived education service on service value of student' satisfaction major in physical education students' of college. The subjects of the study are students enrolled in Junior colleges located in Seoul and five major cities (Busan, Daejeon, Incheon, Ulsan and Gwangju) as of May 2008. It adopted purposeful sampling method to sample 443 students, and 409 effective samples were used in the study. SPSS 12.0 was used to conduct factor, reliability, frequent analysis, correlation and regression analyses, and the study reached the following conclusions. First, the tangibles and responsiveness of the quality of education service had positive effected on the value of service. Second, the tangibles, reliability, responsiveness and irritability had positive effected on students' satisfaction. Third, the value of service had positive effected on students' satisfaction.

The Influences of Cognitive Authority of Online Information Sources on Information Quality Evaluation (온라인 정보원의 인지적 권위에 대한 인식이 정보의 품질 평가에 미치는 영향)

  • Due to the fact that cognitive authority influences an individual's thoughts so that a given information is perceived as appropriate, people evaluate information based on their cognitive authority. The purpose of the present study is to examine the perception of the cognitive authority of online information sources used by college students to carry out their academic tasks, and to determine whether such perceptions affect the quality assessment of information sources, such as webpages, e-journals, and Wikipedia,. Specifically, we measured how cognitive authority, which were formed by the author, the surface, and the content of an information source influenced its accuracy, usefulness, completeness, and expertise. For this purpose, online surveys were conducted with college students, and 172 valid responses were obtained. Findings indicated that all the characteristics that formed the cognitive authority of an information source had significant impacts on its accuracy, usefulness, completeness, and expertise. The study suggests academic implications that confirm the associations between cognitive authority and credibility of information in the context of online information sources. Furthermore, the study provides practical implications that system developers or operators of information sources need to consider diverse factors that affect their cognitive authority to promote users' trust on the information that they deliver.

An Adaptive Resource Allocation Scheme in Cognitive Radio Network Assisted Satellite (무선 인지 네트워크에서 위성을 이용한 적응적인 자원 할당 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose our design of adaptive resource allocation in the cognitive radio network assisted by satellite to improve the performance of Cognitive Radio user. Most of today’s telecommunication network operates in a fixed, licensed frequency band using a specific spectrum access network. However, the spectrum is not always used all the time, all the band. It causes the inefficiency in the spectrum usage. Thus, cognitive radio network is proposed to solve these spectrum inefficiency problems. The cognitive radio users (secondary users) are coexistent with primary users (PUs) who are licensed. That cognitive radio network is considered as lower priority comparing with primary user. So, the operation of the cognitive radio network is limited to interference constraints. Especially, when the number of secondary users increases, CCI among SUs will increase as well as interference to PU. That motivates our objective to improve the performance even if cognitive radio users increase. To solve this problem, we suggest an adaptive resource allocation scheme to improve the performance of cognitive radio network assisted by satellite. Through this algorithm, we can improve the cognitive radio network performance. And the simulation results confirm the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm.

  • This study defined the influence of the quality of job information websites and of user characteristic factors on the user satisfaction and on the intention of the use thereof based on the technical acceptance model to activate research on job information or job information websites in the category of Library and Information Science, amid studies on the Fourth Industrial Revolution in various disciplines emerging. 230 users experienced in job information websites were surveyed. The surveyed data were analyzed by applying the structural equation model. The results are as follows. Accuracy, security, self-efficacy, the perceived easiness of use had a positive effect on the perceived usefulness. Up-to-dateness, self-efficacy, individual innovation had a significant effect on the perceived easiness of use. The perceived usefulness and the perceived easiness of use had a positive effect on user satisfaction, and the user satisfaction had a significant effect on the intention of use.

  • This paper proposes a neural net based-predictive connection admission control (CAC) scheme for multiclass users in wireless cognitive radio networks. We classifies cognitive users(cu) into real and non real time services, and then permit only real time services to reserve the demanded resource for spectrum handoff in guard channel for provisioning the desired QoS. Neural net is employed to predict primary user's arrival on time and demanded channels. Resource scheduling scheme is based on $C_IA$(cognitive user I complete access) shown in this paper. For keeping primary users from interference, the CAC is performed on only cognitive user not primary user. Simulation results show that our schemes can guarantee the desired QoS by cognitive real time services.

  • More manufacturing companies tend to outsource their logistics functions to logistics service providers to ensure their own competitiveness than before. This paper investigates the differences between customer perceptions and expectations on three key logistics outsourcing decisions. For testing logistics service qualities, a research model which employs a SERVQUAL model was developed and a survey targeting manufacturing companies has been conducted. The average difference of logistics service level between customer perceptions and expectations was derived as 8% from a result of gap analyses. The findings here reveal the level of service quality of Korean logistics service providers as well as suggest core capabilities for them in order for gaining a competitive edge on the competitors and improving their performances.

  • Recently, as the healthcare market is globalized, the importance of the information on the Internet has been recognized. In this study, the analysis by research model with hypothesis that benefit sought factors of health tourism have a positive effect on behavioral intention of destination selection through tourism brand equity by internet information was carried out. As a result of analysis, benefit sought factors like as health and beauty did not have a positive effect on brand cognition and perceived quality but benefit sought factors like as service and nature had a positive effect on brand cognition and perceived quality. However, benefit sought like as experience did not have a positive effect on brand cognition and perceived quality. And brand equity like as brand cognition and perceived quality had a positive effect on behavioral intention. Thus, according to the results of these hypotheses, policies that foster health tourism in Jeju region will be followed based on product development that considering the importance of the existing service and cognition.

Analysis of the Influence of Domestic Open Banking Quality Factors on Intention to Use (국내 오픈뱅킹 품질요소가 사용자 이용의도에 미치는 영향분석)

  • The main channels of the financial industry are rapidly changing to mobile. In this environment, banks are focusing on information and communication technology to secure their competitiveness, and rapid innovation is being pursued especially in the payment settlement sector. In October 2019, Korea also introduced open banking services to accelerate the financial innovation, such as the open conversion of financial settlement networks and the expansion of the use of simple payments. In this paper, an empirical study was conducted on the effect of domestic open banking quality factors on usage intention. The service quality factors for open banking were classified into interface design, innovation, security, and data sharing, and the technology acceptance model (TAM) was used to verify whether it has a significant effect on perceived convenience, usefulness and intention to use. According to the analysis results, while innovation and security did not have a significant effect on convenience and usefulness, interface design and data sharing were found to have an effect on perceived convenience. The results would provide implications for some quality issues for companies seeking to introduce open banking services as well as for the related academic arena.
