Data citation remains in its infancy, although providing the citation to a journal article is a typical norm in an academic community. This study examines the need for data citation, its principles and guidelines for improving the issue. In addition, the study investigates cases that established data citation mechanism, including DataCite, Dataverse Network and Data Citation Index that define elements of data citation and provide relevant services. At the end, it explores the current state of data citation in Korea through the analysis of citations to dataset from Korean General Social Survey.

The purpose of this study is to investigate interdisciplinary changes in the field of Archives and Records Management in Korea. For this purpose, this study analyzed disciplinary attributes of citing and cited references appeared in the Journal of the Korean Society of Archives and Records Management during the period, 2001-2011. One hundred and ninty five research articles and two thousands nine hundreds ninty seven cited references were analyzed to find the degree of interdisciplinarity by using direct citation and Brillouin index. Finally, the interdisciplinary changes of source literature and cited references in Korean archival science during the period were suggested.

2010년 국가인원위원회에서는 시각장애인을 위한 점자 보안카드 발급과 관련하여 금융위원회 위원장과 금융감독원 원장에게 권고하였으며, 이에 따라 시중 은행 및 금융기관에서는 시각장애인 용 점자 보안카드 및 OTP등을 보급하였다. 하지만 제공된 점자 보안카드 및 OTP의 문제점가 발생하고 있으며, 2014년 기준 금융기관의 장애인 편의성 제공 지침 준수율이 스마트금융의 경우, 68%, ATM의 경우, 50%로 현저히 낮은 상황이다. 본 논문은 현재 시각 장애인용 금융 보안 및 키보드 등의 동향과 앞으로의 전망을 살펴보고자 한다.

Inappropriate applications of bibliometric approach and misinterpretation on the analysis in research evaluation have been found and recognized nationally and internationally as the use of the approach has been rapidly adopted in various sectors in research evaluation systems and research funding agencies. The flood of misuse led to several numbers of declarations and statements on appropriate research evaluation, including Leiden Manifesto, DORA, IEEE Statement, etc. The similar recommendations from five different declarations, Leiden Manifest, IEEE Statement, DORA, Institut de France, and Thomson Reuters White paper were reviewed and meta-analyzed in this study and it is revealed that most of them emphasize evaluation on quality in various aspects with multiple indicators. Research evaluation with assessing multiple aspects of individual research based on the understandings of its purpose and pertinent subject area was revealed as being mostly advised in the declarations, and this recommendation can be regarded as being mostly requested in national research evaluation system. For future study, interviews with relevant stakeholders of national research evaluation system in order to explore its application are needed to confirm the findings of this review.

국립수의과학검역원에서는 다음의 3가지 목적을 가지고 매년 전국의 양계농가 혹은 양계관련회사, 수의사로부터 질병진단을 위하여 가검물을 의뢰 받고 있다. 이 사업은 1966년에 처음으로 시작하여 2000년 올해까지 35년이 되었다. 가. 가금질병의 국내 발생 동향 및 추세파악으로 방역지침자료 확보 나. 새로운 질병의 조기검색 및 연구자료 제공으로 질병 신속방제 다. 양계농가에 대한 질병 치료, 예방 및 위생기술 지도 지금부터 이야기하고자 하는 2000년도 질병분석은 1월부터 10월까지 국립수의과학검역원에 의뢰된 가검물을 기본으로 하였으며 이 자료에 대한 인용은 양계관련잡지, 업체, 개인 누구나 가능하다. 또한, 이 자료는 작성을 한 후 각 전문잡지에 공통으로 투고를 했기 때문에 본문내용이 모두 똑같은 점을 이해해 주었으면 한다. 2000년도 12월 31일까지 분석한 최종자료는 2001년 3월에 발간되는 국립수의과학검역원 정보지에 실릴 예정이다.

The assistive devices for disabled people are being highlighted even in industrial aspects through the policy and support for disabled people, enactment of regulation for the improvement of accessibility of disabled, technological innovation and product development. Recently, internet access with the sense of touch and hearing and utilizing electronic publishing contents and e-mailing are being convenient through the product of ICT development such as screen reader for visually impaired people, braille display, screen enlarger, text converter and others. Even so, in rapidly changing digital media smart era, the accessibility of visually impaired people is still poor and assistive devices and alternative formats are in need of improvement. Therefore, in aspect of the research and development innovation, this study proposes the implementation directions for improvement of accessibility by analyzing the current situation and structure of alternative formats and assistive devices for visually impaired people. As a result, in the future, various types of digital information are expected to be converted into a customized and realistic forms and distributed through a dedicated disability products or smart devices.

Personal mobility (PM) can increase the mobility of individual, so that the elderly can be set as the target group for using PM because of relatively low walking ability to normal. In this study, we design PM device for elderly that can be used safely in the walking environment such as sidewalk. There are various obstacles in the walking environment, so the device must have mechanical performance to overcome all of them. In this study, we survey the status and level of obstacle factors in walking environment to determine the dynamic performance of the PM device for elderly. We check up several guidelines about walking facilities to define obstacle points for the device, establish field survey methodologies, and conduct field survey for some specific road sections. Based on the survey results, we confirm the possible problems that could arise when the dynamic performance of the device is selected based on the facility-related criteria. We also define the performance requirements for the device based on the requirements for electric wheelchair.

Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is rapidly spreading across various industries. Accordingly, interest in ethical issues arising from the use of AI is also increasing. This is particularly true in the healthcare sector, where AI-related ethical issues are a significant topic due to its focus on health and life. Hence, this issue aims to examine the ethical concerns when using AI tools during research and publication processes. One of the key concerns is the potential for unintended plagiarism when researchers use AI tools for tasks such as translation, citation, and editing. Currently, as AI is not given authorship, the researcher is held accountable for any ethical problems arising from using AI tools. Researchers are advised to specify which AI tools were used and how they were employed in their research papers. As more cases of ethical issues related to AI tools accumulate, it is expected that various guidelines will be developed. Therefore, researchers should stay informed about global consensus and guidelines regarding the use of AI tools in the research and publication process.

선박충돌사고 원인의 제공 정도를 밝혀 해양사고를 재발방지를 목적으로 1999년 2월 "선박충돌사고 원인제공비율 산정제도"를 마련하였으며, 2007년 1월 원인제공비율 산정지침을 제정하여 시행해 오고 있다. 이 제도의 또 다른 도입목적은 해양안전심판원의 원인제공비율을 민사재판에서 사법부가 적극 인용함으로써 해양사고관련자들 간의 신속한 분쟁해결과 경제적 부담 감송 등에 기여함에 있다. 그러나 민사소송에 있어 제공된 원인제공비율이 과실비율로 인정되는 등의 이유로 원인제공비율 산정제도가 사법권의 침해하고 있다는 문제점도 지적되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 원인제공비율 산정제도의 시행 이후 이 제도의 시행자 및 사용자 등 전문가 집단을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 제도의 효과 및 문제점 등을 분석하였다. 전문가 집단 응답자의 대부분이 제도의 필요성 (94.3%), 유용성 (88.6%) 및 신뢰성 (73%)을 피력하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 이 제도가 필요한 이유로는 "손해배상분쟁의 신속한 해결", "충돌사고 재발방지", 그리고 "이해당사자의 편의제공" 때문임을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 제도의 개선을 위해서는 원인제공 비율의 표시에 있어 보다 객관적인 기준과 정량성 및 전문성의 확보가 필요하다는 지적도 확인하였다. 따라서 원인제공비율 산정제도의 개선방안으로 원인제공비율산정에 대한 신뢰성 및 공정성의 확보, 심판관에 대한 법률적 지식과 법적 소양강화 및 전문법조인의 심판관으로의 영입 등이 필요하다고 판단된다.

Recently, while global concern over offshore resources exploration and development is being increased rapidly, offshore plant industry is highlighted as an industry of high added value. Along with this global trend, domestic concern over offshore plant development is being increased as well. In the overseas case, a marine geotechnical survey guideline for confirming characteristics of seabed sediments is available at the time of installation of offshore plant but such guideline is not available in our country. In this study, survey techniques fit for domestic marine environment was applied according to overseas guideline at southern coastal area, Korea. Among the marine geophysical survey techniques being proposed abroad, magnetic survey and seabed photograph were excluded. However, highly reliable data analysis was enabled for marine geophysical survey, which includes in-situ coring investigation and laboratory soil test. In addition, continuous ocean current survey was included to find scour potential due to the current around the offshore plant. Although coring depth is not so deep, we predicted geological structure through the analysis of amplitude features of seismic data. Characteristics of seabed sediments cold be obtained regionally and directly through combined analysis of marine geophysical survey data and coring data.
