This study investigated the differences and relationships between environmental print reading ability, vocabulary, and print concepts of children at ages 3 and 4. The subjects comprised 90 children, who could not read letters. The Children's Reading Ability of Environmental Print Scale(Son, 2012), Receptive and Expressive Vocabulary Test(Kim et al., 2009) and Concepts About Print(Kim & Kim, 2004) were used in this study. The collected data were analyzed using t-test and Pearson's correlations. The results of this study were as follows; in terms of Illiterate Korean children, aged 3 to 4 years, their scores on the environmental print reading tasks were positively correlated with vocabulary and print concepts.

This study was conducted to better understand the effect of the classroom literacy environment on the young children's vocabulary abilities, and the concepts of print matter. The subjects consisted of 276 children aged 3 to 5 enrolled in 93 classrooms in child-care centers and kindergartens. The Early Language & Literacy Classroom Observation Pre-K (Smith, Brady, & Anastasopoulos, 2008), the Picture Vocabulary Test (Kim, Jang, Yim, & Bae, 1995) and the Concepts About Print (Kim & Kim, 2004) were used for the purposes of this study. The data collected were analyzed by means of ANOVA, and regression analysis. The results indicated that the vocabulary abilities and print-concepts of children aged 3-5 were more likely to increase when a rich classroom environment was provided for the children's literacy development. In particular, it was found to be important for children's language and Literacy development to provide them with an enriched 'language environment' within the classroom, the quality of 'books and book reading', and the active utilization of 'print and early writing' all being important elements of this.

Relationships between parents' home literacy attitudes in low-income families and children's emergent literacy were studied with 107 children 4- and 5-years of age and their parents. Instruments were Kim and Kwon's (2006) questionnaire about parents' literacy attitudes, the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test-Revised(Kim et al., 1995) and the Concepts About Print(CAP; Kim & Kim, 2004). Results showed that parents of younger children were positive about reading books; parents of older children were positive about reading instruction. More positive parental feelings about reading and higher frequencies of reading with the child were related to children's higher vocabulary scores. Children's CAP was positively related with amount of parents' reading instruction, home literacy resources, and number of child's books in the home.

In this study, 197 4- to 6- year-old Korean children wereindividually tested with Concepts about Print(CAP Clay, 2000), the Picture Vocabulary Test(Kim, Jang, Lim & Bak, 1996), Korean-Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence : Verbal Test (K-WPPSI), and the Basic Academy Skills Assessment : Reading(Kim, 2000). Data were analyzed by Pearson-correlation, analysis of variance, and factor analysis. There were significant differences of CAP mean scores by age. Within the subcategories of CAP, Book Orientation Concepts and Print-convention were acquired earlier than other subcategories, followed by Print-direction, Print-order and Advanced Print Concepts in that order. The scores of CAP were positively correlated with the Picture Vocabulary Test, the K-WPPSI verbal test and the reading test.

명세서, 청구서, DM을 포함한 우편 인쇄물을 기반으로 트랜잭션(Transaction) 인쇄시장의 진화가 계속되고 있다. 트랜잭션 인쇄시장은 디지털 인쇄시스템이 가변데이터를 응용할 수 있는 장점을 적절히 활용하며, 기존 오프셋 물량을 대체하는 1차 변화를 겪었다. 변화는 연기서 그치지 않았다. 가변데이터 적용이라는 1차원적인 변화를 넘어 마케팅 개념을 도입한 스마트한 트랜스프로모(Transpromo)로 질적 변환하고 있기 때문이다. 보유한 데이터베이스를 활용해 대상자에 필요저오를 1:1로 제공하는 타깃마케팅이 트랜스프로모의 이름으로 실현되고 있는 것이다.

"신개념 인쇄 비즈니스 창출전략"이라는 주제의 세미나가 대한인쇄문화협회와 한국이앤엑스 공동 주최로 지난 8월25일 오후 2시부터 4시까지 코엑스 컨퍼런스 센터 402호에서 개최됐다. '2005프린코'를 기념해 유창준 프린팅코리아 편집국장의 사회로 진행된 이날 세미나에서는 제1주제 '디지털인쇄 활용 현황과 전망'에 대해 김홍석 한국후지제록스 부장이, 제2주제 '디지털인쇄 마케팅 전략'에 대해 이경선 로지트코퍼레이션 부장이 각각 강의했다. 300여명이 참석한 이날 세미나에서 홍우동 대한인쇄문화협회 회장은 인사말을 통해 "요즘 우리인쇄업계는 아날로그에서 디지털로, 오프라인에서 온라인으로 급속히 전환되면서 큰 변화를 맞이하고 있다"면서 "오늘 세미나를 통해 디지털을 기반으로 하는 새로운 인쇄물의 창출과 틈새시장 개척이라는 두 마리 토끼를 잡는 계가 되기를 기대한다"고 말했다. 다음은 각 주제별 강의 내용이다.

This study investigated the effectiveness of reading intervention on at-risk readers from first through third grade. The 34 children below the 20th percentile on an oral reading fluency test participated in the reading intervention program for 15 weeks. They received small group instruction in one 40-minute session per week. Data were analyzed with one-way ANOVA, paired t-test and effect size for individual cases. Upon completion of the intervention, at-risk first graders showed significantly higher performance in print concept, word recognition, oral reading fluency and reading comprehension. The at-risk second and third graders improved only in oral reading fluency. Most of children who received the intervention demonstrated a large effect in oral reading fluency.

영재를 위한 수학교육은 우리의 당면과제 중 하나이다. 능력 있는 학생들의 학습이 속진에 한정되는 것 보다는 심화자료 및 수학적 소프트웨어와 함께 하는 것이 더 의미 있을 것으로 기대된다. 본 연구는 스프레트쉬트를 사용한 수학적 아이디어의 탐구에 관한 것이다. 다음에 대해 논의하기로 하겠다. i) 스프레드쉬트는 비전통적이면서도 이용이 용이하며, 수학적 통찰을 위한 매개물이다. ii) 풍부하고, 흥미릅고, 가치있는 수학적 주제에 대해 스프레드쉬트를 이용할 수 있다. iii) 스프레드쉬트를 사용하여 학생들이 수학적 아이디어에 대한 흥미를 고취시킬 수 있다. iv) 스프레드쉬트는 학생들에게 그들의 창의적인 시각화 기술을 공개할 기회를 줌으로써 수학에 대한 폭넓은 도식적 이해를 제공한다. v) animation을 포함한 스프레드쉬트 도식들의 적절한 사용은 유익하면서도 흥미롭다. vi) 학생들은 일상생활에 나타나는 수학의 흥미로움을 발견할 것이다. vii) 교사는 지금의 지도방식에 스프레드쉬트를 통합할 수 있다. 특히 스프레드쉬트는 다음과 같은 면모도 가지고 있다. i) 창의적인 수학적 스프레드쉬트 모델들의 실제 과정들이 그 자체로써 수학적 개념발달에 이용될수 있다. ii) 스프레드쉬트 모델은 심화된 주제의 탐색을 위한 의미 있는 탐구과제를 제공한다. iii) 스프레드쉬트는 현장에서 사용되는 실제적 수학 도구이다. - 과학자나 공학도들의 사용도 증가되고 있다. 이것의 사용은 학생들이 현장에서 사용할 기술을 취득하게 할 수 있고, 같은 컴퓨터의 소프트웨어를 사용하는 가족의 대화 수단이 되기도 한다. 본 연구에서 우리는 스프레드쉬트의 4가지 실증적 예를 들어 보겠다. 또한 다른 영역에서 발전된 스프레드쉬트 모델의 몇 가지 도식적 산출물도 포함 할 것이다. 우리는 가장 대중적인 스프레드 쉬트인 Microsoft Excel 프로그램을 사용하였다. Excel의 수행과 Excel 연산의 설명을 담은 CD와 함께 다양한 사례들에 대한 논의는 (8)을 참고하기 바란다. 본고에서는 graphic animation 기술, 스크롤바의 사용을 간단하게 개괄하겠다. '동적형상들(movies)'를 만들 수 있는 간단한 매크로의 사용 등의 내용들은 각 자료를 사용할 수 있는 Excel 파일의 예와 함께 [1]과 [8]에 설명하였었다. 많은 인쇄물과 on-line 참고문헌, 매체자료들도 함께 제공하였다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a teaching-learning process plan for sustainable residing creating with neighbors and to apply it to the housing section of Technology-Home Economics according to the 2007 Revised Curriculum. Teachinglearning method solving practical problems was used for the teaching-learning process plans of 6-session lessons according to the ADDIE model. In the development stage, 17 activity materials and 15 teaching learning materials (6 reading texts, 6 moving pictures, 2 internet and 1 image materials) were developed. for the 6-session lessons, based on the stages of solving practical problems. The plans applied to the 3 classes of 8, 9, and 10th grade of the H. junior and senior high school in Myun district in Kyungbook during Sept. 1st to 14th, 2009. The results showed that students actively participated when the contents and materials were related to their own experience. The 6-session lessons about sustainable residing creating with neighbors was significantly increased the sense of community between before and after. Each of the 4 stages of the teachinglearning method solving practical problems were highly participated by the students. The satisfaction with the contents and methods of the 6-session lessons were evaluated over medium to somewhat higher levels. The practical activities to solve the community space and programs were got positive comments. Problem solving process and presentation and discussion were needed to learn more. Those results might support that the teachinglearning process plan this research developed. would be appropriate to the lessons for sustainable residing creating with neighbors.
