정부 R&D투자가 중소기업에 미치는 영향 - 대전 지역특화(전략)산업을 중심으로

  • 대전은 전국에서 R&D투자가 많은 지역으로 이는 출연연 및 출연연 출신 연구원의 기술창업의 증가로 나타나는 현상으로 볼 수 있다. R&D가 많이 투자됨에 따라 이에 따른 효율성에 대한 분석들이 많이 이루어지고 있으며, 주로 R&D 투자가 대한 지역내총생산, 기업의 생산성 등에 미치는 영향 즉 R&D투자의 효율성 분석을 많이 하고 있다. 본고에서는 지역 R&D투자가 기업의 생산성에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는 지를 분석하였다. 특히 지역특화(전략)산업 분야별로 분석하여 지역 R&D 투자의 효율적 배분을 위한 전략방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 분석을 위해서 생산성에 대한 대리변수로 종업원 1인당 매출액 종업원 1인당 부가가치를 종속변수로 설정하였고, 독립변수로 연구개발비, 종업원 1인당 영업이익, 종업원 1인당 자본집약도 등의 변수를 다중회귀모형으로 실증분석 하였다. 분석결과 R&D투자가 매출액과 부가가치에 유의한 영향을 미치지만, 연구개발비가 매출액이나 부가가치 등 생산성 증가에 결정적인 요인으로 나타나지 않았다. 산업별 분석결과 정보통신, 바이오산업보다 부품소재 산업에서 결정계수가 높게 나왔다. 또한 조절회귀모형을 설정하여 조절효과를 분석한 결과 R&D투자는 매출액에 영향을 미치지만, 부가가치는 조절효과가 발생하지 않았다. 이는 지역 R&D투자의 효율적 배분 측면에서 투자의 활성화를 이루고 연구개발 투자가 실질적으로 기업의 생산성 증가에 기여할 수 있도록 견인해야 할 것이다.

The Effects of Cooperative Labor-Management Relations Climate on Organizational Performance: Moderating Effects of Strategic Human Resource Management (협력적 노사관계분위기가 조직성과에 미치는 영향 - 전략적 인적자원관리의 조절효과 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide academic and practical implications through empirical analysis on the moderating role of SHRM that is relatively lacking in the relationship between CLMRC and performance. In order to achieve the research purpose, data were collected from 123 CEOs of Korean companies. The reliability and validity of the collected data were examined and the hypothesis was verified by hierarchical regression analysis. The results of this study show that CLMRC has a meaningful positive(+) effect on both net profit and sales per person, and SHRM has shown to have a moderating effects between CLMRC and sales per person, CLMRC and net profit. Through this analyzes, CLMRC can enhance the management performance, and in this process, the more strategic the human resource management(HRM) is, the more the impact on the management performance is strengthened. Implications for CLMRC and SHRM, limitations of the study and suggestions for future researches are discussed.

소상공서비스업체의 입지요인과 경영성과에 관한 실증연구 - 미용서비스업체를 대상으로 -

  • 본 연구는 본점 주소지 거주 주민에 의해 그 매출액을 현저히 영향을 받는다고 생각되는 소상공 서비스업체들 중 미용서비스업체의 점포 선택 결정요인을 관심 변수로 다루었다. 입지요인에 의해 영향을 받는 경영성과 측정 변수를 경영자의 만족도나 소비자의 충성도 측면에서만 진행하지 않고 미용서비스업체의 성과인 실제 매출액과 방문자수를 활용하여 연구하였다는 점에서 선행연구와 큰 차이가 있다. 본 연구 결과는 미용서비스업체의 점포입지요인중 가시성 접근성이 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다 또한 미용시술의자수가 매출액과는 (+)의 관계를 디자이너 1인당 매출액에는 (-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 미용서비스업체에 대한 분석을 하여 다른 소상공서비스업체에 확산 적용하는데는 한계가 있다. 또한 입지특성에 있어서도 유의적 영향을 미치는 추가적인 입지 변수들을 발견할 필요가 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between high involvement Human Resource Management and organizational effectiveness in small company. High involvement Human Resource Management practices include training, incentive, performance appraisal, participation, proposal, communication, job description. This research approached organizational effectiveness using internal process and goal. Internal process approach measured internal organizational health using aggregate organizational commitment, turnover intention, job search. Goal approach measured organizational growth using sales growth rate per employee and net income growth rate per employee. Using the collected data from 267 employees at 27 small-sized firms located in South region in Korea, this research tested and confirmed the construct validity regression analysis at the organizational level. This research came to the conclusions to as follows: First, high-involvement HRM had the positive effect on the organizational commitment. Second, high-involvement HRM had the negative effect on the turnover intention. The findings suggest that high-involvement HRM is a valuable construct to understand internal process approach of organizational effectiveness in small firms.

The Relationship between Training Activity and Organization Performance (교육훈련활동과 기업성과의 관계)

  • An training activity within organization is main factor for creating a competitive advantage in knowledge-based economic system. Therefore the purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between training activity in organization and business performance and corporate value. Also it was analysed whether the effect of training was different between large company and small company. The major results of analysing the effect of training on organization performance are as follows. First, training activity was positively related to Tobin's Q each year. As for net income per person the effect on training was significant in 2009 and 2010 except 2008. The sales per person was significantly related in 2008 and 2009. Second, as the result of analysis of training investment on organization performance, as for large company the effect of training on business performance and corporate value was mostly significant excluding 2008' net income per person and 2010' sales per person. While as for small company all effects were not related.

  • This study aims to quantify the railway freight performance using various indicators, to compare it over many countries, and to evaluate efficiency of railway freight in Korea. The indicators developed in this study was classified into two categories; country-specific and company-specific indicator. The former includes freight train density, average gross train load and average haul while the latter contains revenue/ton-km, ratio of operating costs to revenue, revenue per employee, ton-km per employee, costs per ton-km and ratio of labor costs to total operating costs. The results of this study shows that Korail performance is in low efficiency due to multi-frequency small amounts transport. The productivity of railway freight in Korea represented as ton-km per employee appears to be lower than that of other oversea companies considered in this study.

The Impact of Corporate Product Innovation on the Firm's Revenue and Financial Stability (제품혁신이 기업의 수익 및 재무안정성에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper analyzes how corporate product innovation affects firms' revenue and financial stability, and thereby draws the implications for the corporate strategy for sustainable growth. Corporate product innovation is defined as the development of new products within the firm, including bought-in products. Corporate revenue is measured by per capita sales and its growth rate, while financial stability is measured by debt-to-equity ratio and liquidity ratio. In the empirical analysis, the two-stage estimation method was used to control for the endogeneity of new product development. The data are drawn from the first (2005) to the sixth (2015) wave of the Human Capital Corporate Panel (HCCP) Survey, which are matched to the data from the Korea Investors Service (KIS). The results of the first-stage estimation indicate that product innovation of the firm is promoted by the firm's knowledge capital stock, human resources investment, and market-leading strategy. The second-stage estimation results indicate a positive relationship between the firm's level of activity in product innovation and short-term revenue (per capita sales and its growth), and financial stability (lower debt-to-equity ratio and higher liquidity ratio). These findings confirm that the firm's investment in technology innovation and subsequent product innovation are important strategies to enhance both short-term corporate revenue and long-term financial stability.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 안전성과와 경영성과의 영향관계를 체계적으로 설명할 수 있는 모형을 개발하고, 근로자수 300인 이상인 기업 43개와 300인 미만인 30개 기업을 구분해서 개발한 모형을 실증적으로 분석함으로써 모델의 타당성을 분석하는데 있다. 안전성과에 대한 변수는 노동부산하의 한국산업안전공단에서 집계한 재해자 수와 근로손실일 수를 선정하였으며, 경영성과에 대한 자료는 (주)한국신용정보와 (주)매일경제에서 출간하는 상장기업분석자료를 근거로 하여 1인당매출액을 선정하고 조절변수로 사용된 노무비, 경비, 부채비율, 수출비중을 업계평균에 비해 상대적으로 높고 낮은 정도를 높은 기업은 1, 낮은 기업은 0의 값을 지정하여 실증분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통하여 기업의 특성요인들에 따라 안전성과가 경영성과에 미치는 영향이 다르다는 본 연구의 이론적 모델은 근로자 수가 300인 이상인 국내 대기업의 경우에는 그 타당성을 지닌다고 볼 수 있었다.

A Study on the Development of Performance Indicators in the Community Business (커뮤니티 비즈니스 성과지표 개발연구)

  • This study has begun with the perception that proper measuring system is required to grow community business in equilibrium and to grope for some developmental directions of it. First, for effective performance evaluation of community business, the study developed a performance evaluation model based on balanced score cards, and to apply validity analysis and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) by classifying. Second, the relative importance of the second indicator for each of the first aspects shows that participation of local residents and in the aspect of person interested, satisfaction of inner education in the aspect of learning and growth, shortening of work process in the aspect of inner process, and sales per head in the aspect of substantiality were high in relative importance. Third, in the result of calculation of overall weight for each aspect, participation of local residents, a business connection to the community, sales per head were ranked in the upper group. Thus, it's now necessary to have management support through fostering intermediate support organizations in community business which has been bureaucratic, and improvement of product and service through connection with outside consulting agencies and strategic alliance with the leading businesses is required.

Factors Relating to Quitting in the Small Industries in Incheon (인천지역 일부 소규모 사업장 근로자들의 이직요인(離職要因))

  • This study was carried out from 1993 to 1994 in the small industries in Incheon. The objectives of this study was in order to estimate the quitting rate, to identify its relating factors and to propose effective quitting management policy in the small industries. The results were as follows ; 1. The quitting rate of 266 study workers was 42.1%(112 workers). 2. Age, working duration, position, marrital status were significant difference between the quitting group and the non - quitting group. In the quitting group, mean age was young, working duration was short, general employees and unmarried workers were many compared with the non - quitting group. 3. In the industry characteristics, total assets, total assets, sales per person, establishment duration and occupational health and safely status were significant difference between the quitting group and the non - quitting group. In the quitting group, total assets, total sales and sales per person were little, establishment duration of company was short and occupational health and safety status were poor compared with the non - quitting group. 4. In the quitting group, worker's response to employer's disposal about health and safety was more passive and the relation to employer with employee was significantly poor compared with the non - quitting group. 5. Multiple logistic regression analysis of quitting against family income per person, working duration, relation to employer with employee, occupational health and safety status in industry, worker's response to employer's disposal about health and safety and sales per person was done. Working duration, occupational health and safety status, worker's response to employer'1 disposal about health and safety were significant explainatory variables for quitting. Above results showed that the quitting rate was high and it was significant difference between the quitting group and non : quitting group according to characteristics of workers and of industries. Especially, it suggested that working duration, occupational health and safety status and worker's response to employer's disposal about health and safety were significant quitting factor. Therefore, it should be reflected in the quitting management and the policy of steady employment.
