An analysis of perceptions of elementary teachers and secondary mathematics teachers on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in mathematics education (수학교육에서 인공지능 활용에 대한 초등 교사와 중등 수학 교사의 인식 분석)

  • One of the important factors for the effective implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in mathematics education is the perceptions of the teachers who adopt it. This study surveyed 161 elementary school teachers and 157 secondary mathematics teachers on their perceptions of using AI in mathematics education, grouped into four categories: attitude toward using AI, AI for teaching mathematics, AI for learning mathematics, and AI for assessing mathematics. The findings showed that teachers were most positive about using AI for teaching and learning mathematics, whereas their attitudes towards using AI were less favorable. In addition, elementary school teachers demonstrated a higher positive response rate across all categories compared to secondary mathematics teachers, who exhibited more neutral perceptions. Based on the results, we discussed the pedagogical implications for teachers to effectively use AI in mathematics education.

  • With the upcoming 4th industrial revolution era, the applications of artificial intelligence(AI) and big data in engineering are increasing. In the field of blasting, there have been various reported cases of the application of AI. In this paper, AI techniques, such as artificial neural network, fuzzy logic, generic algorithm, swarm intelligence, and support vector machine, which are widely applied in blasting area, are introduced, The studies about the application of AI for the prediction of ground vibration, rock fragmentation, fly rock, air overpressure, and back break are surveyed and summarized. It is for providing starting points for the discussion of active application of AI on effective and safe blasting design, enhancing blasting performance, and minimizing the environmental impact due to blasting.

  • In the Google Deepmind Challenge match, Alphago defeated Korea's Sedol Lee (human) with 4 wins and 1 loss in the Go match. Finally, artificial intelligence is going beyond the use of human intelligence. The Korean government's budget for the Digital New Deal is 9 trillion won in 2022, and an additional 301 types of data construction projects for artificial intelligence learning will be secured. From 2023, the industrial paradigm will change with the use and application of learning of artificial intelligence in all fields of industry. This paper conducts research to utilize artificial intelligence algorithms. Focusing on the analysis and judgment of data in artificial intelligence learning, research on the appropriate target and scope of application of algorithms in artificial intelligence machine learning and deep learning learning is conducted. This study will provide basic data for artificial intelligence in the 4th industrial revolution technology and artificial intelligence robot use in the 5th industrial revolution technology.

  • 인공지능(Artificial Intelligence : AI)이란 인간이 가지고 있는 지각, 인식, 이해, 기억, 판단, 학습, 사고, 발견, 창조 등과 같은 지적인 능력을 기계에 실현하고자 하는 분야이다. 즉 기계에 인간이 가진 지능을 복제하여 우리 인간이 소유하고 있는 추론과 학습 메커니즘 등을 이용하여 신속한 계산을 수행할 수 있도록 컴퓨터의 실제 능력을 향상시키는 것이다. 인공지능 분야는 다양한 분야에 응용되어 왔으며 수많은 기술들이 개발되었다. 석유 분야도 예외는 아니며 석유 지질, 탐사, 매장량 평가, 시추, 생산, 수송, 정제 등 다양한 분야에 걸쳐서 인공지능 분야가 활용되어 많은 문제 해결에 적용되고 있다. 이와 같은 취지에서 본 논문에서는 우선 석유 분야별로 활용되고 있는 인공 지능 분야들을 정리하고 그 후 인공지능 분야별로 실제 해결하고 있는 석유 분야의 문제들을 다시 한번 정리하였다. 그 후 특히 석유 분야가 있어서 실제 개발되어 사용중인 전문가 시스템들을 정리하였다. 마지막으로 향후 석유 분야의 전문가 시스템 발전 방향을 간략히 분석하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 예비교사의 인공지능 융합교육 역량 강화를 위한 캡스톤 디자인 기법 활용 인공지능 융합교육 프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 검증하였다. 개발된 교육 프로그램은 예비교사들이 스크래치 프로그래밍과 머신러닝포키즈, 캡스톤 디자인의 이해를 바탕으로, 인공지능 활용 융합 수업을 위한 주제 선정, 수업 설계 및 개발 후, 마이크로티칭을 하고 동료 평가 및 피드백을 하도록 조직되었다. 이는 2022년 1학기 K대학의 교양 강좌를 수강하는 예비교사들에게 처치되었다. 그 결과, 실험 대상자들의 인공지능 교수효능감의 사전-사후 t-검정에서 통계적으로 유의한 효과가 있음을 확인되었다.

  • This study explored the factors that influence elementary school teachers' intention to use an artificial intelligence (AI) math learning system and analyzed the interactions and relationships among these factors. Based on the technology acceptance model, perceived usefulness for math learning, perceived ease of use of AI, and attitude toward using AI were analyzed as the main variables. Data collected from a survey of 215 elementary school teachers was used to analyze the relationships between the variables using structural equation modeling. The results of the study showed that perceived usefulness for math learning and perceived ease of use of AI significantly influenced teachers' positive attitudes toward AI math learning systems, and positive attitudes significantly influenced their intention to use AI. These results suggest that it is important to positively change teachers' perceptions of the effectiveness of using AI technology in mathematics instruction and their attitudes toward AI technology in order to effectively adopt and utilize AI-based mathematics education tools in the future.

  • This study aims to analyze the characteristics of students' understanding of artificial intelligence and mathematical concepts by developing and applying an artificial intelligence education program for mathematics convergence using robots. To this end, we analyzed the content standards of elementary artificial intelligence education to extract conceptual elements of artificial intelligence and identified mathematics achievement standards that can effectively integrate them. In particular, a five-session (15 classes in total) program was developed by selecting the units 'angle' and 'quadrilateral' suitable for utilizing the robot's movement and reorganizing the lesson to integrate the mathematics achievement standard with the artificial intelligence content elements. As a result of applying this to 22 fourth grade elementary school students over five months and analyzing the students' understanding revealed by topic of artificial intelligence content, the artificial intelligence education program for mathematics convergence using robots was helpful in students' understanding artificial intelligence principles and mathematical concepts. In addition, the use of robots was confirmed to improve students' understanding of artificial intelligence and mathematics as well as their participation in class by making them visually check a series of performing procedures.

  • 경제 위기 대비를 위해 인공지능을 활용한 주식시장 변동성 이상을 탐지하는 목적을 가지고 있다. 글로벌 이슈와 경제 위기 대비를 위해 주식시장 변동성 예측의 중요성이 부각되고 있으며, 기존의 주식시장 변동성 지수인 VIX 의 한계로 인해 더 복잡한 모델 및 인공지능을 활용한 연구에 관심이 집중되고 있다. 기존의 주식시장 변동성 예측에 관한 연구들은 통계적인 방법을 사용했으며 인공지능을 이용한 연구 또한 대부분 이상치 구간을 표시하여 예측을 목표로 하고 있으나 이러한 접근법은 라벨이 있는 데이터 수집 어려움, 클래스 불균형 문제가 있다. 본 연구는 인공지능을 활용한 주식시장 변동성 탐지에 기여하고 지도 학습 방식 대신 비지도 학습 기반의 이상탐지모델을 사용하여 주식시장 변동성을 예측하는 새로운 방법론을 제안한다. 본 연구에서 개발한 인공지능 모델은 IsolationForest 모델을 활용하며, 시계열 데이터를 전처리한 후 정상성을 확보하는 등의 과정을 거친다. 실험 결과로 인공지능 모델이 주요 경제이슈를 이상치로 검출하는 성능을 확인하였으며 재현율 약 93.6%, 정밀도 100%로 높은 성능을 달성했다.

  • The purpose of study is to find ways to improve online research work in the near future environment. Study methods and results are as follows. First, the basis of research was secured through theoretical consideration. Second, three types were derived by collecting examples. There are reward, execution and visualization. Third, comprehensive matrix and directions were derived through case analysis. According to the study, the most frequently used phase of AI technology were analysis, visualization, execution, casting, design, and matching, The direction of use of AI can be largely divided into work efficiency, human thought assistance, and changes in research methods. But the plan phase is generally scarce. Overall, the lack of in function is provided, including AI technology. At a time when research plans are becoming more important as users and products diversify.
