A Structure of Spiking Neural Networks(SNN) Compiler and a performance analysis of mapping algorithm (Spiking Neural Networks(SNN)를 위한 컴파일러 구조와 매핑 알고리즘 성능 분석)

  • Research on artificial intelligence based on SNN (Spiking Neural Networks) is drawing attention as a next-generation artificial intelligence that can overcome the limitations of artificial intelligence based on DNN (Deep Neural Networks) that is currently popular. In this paper, we describe the structure of the SNN compiler, a system SW that generate code from SNN description for neuromorphic computing systems. We also introduce the algorithms used for compiler implementation and present experimental results on how the execution time varies in neuromorphic computing systems depending on the the mapping algorithm. The mapping algorithm proposed in the text showed a performance improvement of up to 3.96 times over a random mapping. The results of this study will allow SNNs to be applied in various neuromorphic hardware.

A Pilot Study of English Learners' Perception on Writing Activities using AI-Based DALL-E2 (인공지능 기반 DALL-E2 활용 쓰기 활동에 대한 영어학습자들의 인식 조사)

  • The purpose of this pilot study is to examine the responses of middle school students to English learning after conducting English writing activities using DALL-E2, an image-generating artificial intelligence tool. To this end, an experimental class was conducted for 3 weeks for 15 middle school English learners, and the results are summarized as follows. First, as a result of a survey on English writing activities using DALL-E2, it was found that confidence, interest, and awareness of writing using artificial intelligence-based tools changed positively. In addition, it was confirmed that there was a statistically significant difference, which meant that learning using artificial intelligence had a positive effect on English writing and overall English learning. Second, as a result of analyzing the English writing activities using DALL-E2, core themes could be extracted into three (cognitive, affective, and psychodynamic characteristics), and the use and implementation of artificial intelligence-based DALL-E2 in English learning showed potential to increase learning interest, challenge, will, and desire in learning and ultimately contribute to enhancing productive skill.

  • Artificial intelligence researches are being applied and developed in various fields. In this paper, we build a neural network by using the method of implementing artificial intelligence in the form of spiking natural networks (SNN), the next-generation of artificial intelligence research, and analyze how the number of neurons in that neural networks affect the performance of the neural networks. We also analyze how the performance of neural networks changes while increasing the amount of neural network learning. The findings will help optimize SNN-based neural networks used in each field.

  • In recent years, with the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology and an explosion of interest in it, education on artificial intelligence is spreading to various fields. As a result, many universities are establishing artificial intelligence-related departments or expanding their quota. In line with this trend, University C has newly established the AI operation department in line with the industrial base in the region. In this paper, a curriculum was developed for the newly established AI operation department, and this curriculum was designed and developed focusing on subjects reflecting the demands of industries based on AIOps (Artificial intelligence for IT Operations). To this end, a consultative body was formed with industry experts, and opinions were collected through a survey.

  • 인공지능 기술의 발전으로 딥러닝, 자연어처리 기술이 챗봇(채팅+로봇)에 적용되어 금융, 헬스케어, 여행, 방송 등의 분야를 중심으로 챗봇 시장이 확대되고 있다. 이러한 디지털 환경의 변화에 따라 전통문화 관련 개방 데이터를 활용한 전통문화 콘텐츠의 활성화 방안에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 전통문화 소재는 영화, 드라마, 애니메이션 등의 소재로 활용 폭이 꾸준히 확대되고 있으나 현대적인 재창조의 폭넓은 대상이 되지는 못하고 있다. 팩트를 다루는 역사적 사실은 물론, 그 당시 살았던 사람들의 이야기 발굴에 대한 창작자들의 수요에 부응할 수 있는 체계적인 정보서비스로서의 전통문화 분야 인공지능(AI) 챗봇 서비스는 예비창작자와 일반인에게 창작의 유용한 가이드가 될 것으로 기대한다.

Artificial Intelligence In Wheelchair: From Technology for Autonomy to Technology for Interdependence and Care (휠체어 탄 인공지능: 자율적 기술에서 상호의존과 돌봄의 기술로)

  • This article seeks to explore new relationships and ethics of human and technology by analyzing a cultural imaginary produced by artificial intelligence. Drawing on theoretical reflections of the Feminist Scientific and Technological Studies which understand science and technology as the matter of care(Puig de la Bellacas, 2011), this paper focuses on the fact that artificial intelligence and robots materialize cultural imaginary such as autonomy. This autonomy, defined as the capacity to adapt to a new environment through self-learning, is accepted as a way to conceptualize an authentic human or an ideal subject. However, this article argues that artificial intelligence is mediated by and dependent on invisible human labor and complex material devices, suggesting that such autonomy is close to fiction. The recent growth of the so-called 'assistant technology' shows that it is differentially visualizing the care work of both machines and humans. Technology and its cultural imaginary hide the care work of human workers and actively visualize the one of the machine. And they make autonomy and agency ideal humanness, leaving disabled bodies and dependency as unworthy. Artificial intelligence and its cultural imaginary negate the value of disabled bodies while idealizing abled-bodies, and result in eliminating the real relationship between man and technology as mutually dependent beings. In conclusion, the author argues that the technology we need is not the one to exclude the non-typical bodies and care work of others, but the one to include them as they are. This technology responsibly empathizes marginalized beings and encourages solidarity between fragile beings. Inspired by an art performance of artist Sue Austin, the author finally comes up with and suggests 'artificial intelligence in wheelchair' as an alternative figuration for the currently dominant 'autonomous artificial intelligence'.

  • 역사적으로 전염병은 기존의 경제 질서를 완전히 바꾸는 촉매제였다. 전문가들은 코로나19가 디지털 플랫폼 경제를 획기적으로 확대하고 보호주의 중심의 글로벌 경제 질서를 획기적으로 재편할 것으로 내다봤다. 특히, 비대면 문화가 보편화됨에 따라 기존 산업에서 인공지능으로 이어지는 혁신 기술을 접목한 디지털 기반 산업으로 전환해야 할 필요성에 따라 ICT 기반 기업 간의 경쟁이 심화될 것으로 예상된다. 코로나19는 신기술로 막 뛰어든 스타트업 ICT 기업에게 새로운 기회가 될 수도 있고, 기존 ICT 기업이 입지를 강화해 글로벌기업으로 거듭날 수 있는 기회가 될 수도 있다. 그 기회의 중심에는 4차 산업 혁명을 이끌 인공지능 기술이 있다. 본 고에서는 포스트 코로나 시대를 위한 인공지능 기술의 동향과 발전 방향을 살펴보고, AR 및 VR과 같은 영상 미디어 기술의 역할에 대해서 살펴본다.

  • 4차산업 혁명의 대표 영역인 인공지능은 과학기술뿐 아니라 사회, 경제, 문화 등 우리 사회의 전 분야에 적용되어가고 있다. 이것은 교육기관에서 인공지능 관련 컴퓨터 전공자만이 아닌 여러 전공 각 분야의 전공자 또한 인공지능 교육을 받아야 함을 의미하는 것이다. 이에 따라 전 분야에 걸친 A·I융합 인재의 양성이 관심사항이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 항공정비사 양성을 위한 국토교통부 전문교육기관 지정기준에 제시된 교육과목 및 내용에 소프트웨어 교육을 위해 시스템 제어에 관한 이론/실습교육의 추가를 제안하였다. 제안한 교육내용은 항공정비 분야에서의 A·I융합 인재양성에 한 방안이 될 것이라 기대한다.
