A Study on Domestic and Foreign Children's Secondary Materials (국내외 어린이 관련 이차자료에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigated secondary materials of children and young adults materials produced by domestic and foreign countries. In order to do that, characteristics and present states of bibliographies, indexes, union catalogs, major journals were examined while bibliography, index and catalog were defined. This study results showed that there were no bibliography and index for children and young adults materials but only recommended book catalogs and award book catalogs were produced in Korea. There were however many various second materials in foreign countries.

Applications of Diamond Graph (다이아몬드 그래프의 활용 방법)

  • There are lots of two and three dimensional graph representing two dimensional categorical data. Among them, Li, et al. (2003) proposed Diamond Graph that projects three dimensional graph into two dimension whereby the third dimension is replaced with a diamond shape whose area and middle and vertical and horizontal lengths represent the outcome. In this paper, we use the Diamond graph to test the independence of two predictor variables for two dimensional data. And this graph could be applied for finding the best fitted log-linear model to three dimensional data.

Analysis of Generating Mechanism of Secondary Flows in Turbulent Open-Channel Flows using DNS Data (DNS 자료를 이용한 개수로에서 이차흐름의 생성메커니즘 분석)

  • Using DNS data for turbulent flows in an open-channel with sidewalls, the mechanisms by which secondary flows are generated and by which Reynolds shear stresses are created, are demonstrated. Near the sidewall, secondary flows invading towards the sidewall are observed in the regions of both lower and upper corners, while secondary flows ejecting from the sidewall towards the center of the channel are created elsewhere. The distributions of Reynolds shear stresses near the sidewall are analyzed, connecting their productions with coherent structures. A quadrant analysis shows that sweeps are dominant in two corner regions where secondary flows invading towards the sidewall are generated, but that ejections are dominant in the region where secondary flows ejecting towards the center of the channel are created. Also, conditional quadrant analyses reveal that the productions of Reynolds shear stresses and the patterns of secondary flows are determined by the directional tendencies of coherent structures.

An Estimation of Shear Velocity in Turbulent Open-Channel Flows using DNS data (DNS 자료를 이용한 개수로 난류흐름에서 전단속도 산정)

  • 본 연구에서는 개수로 흐름에서 전단속도의 분포를 조사하였다. 이를 위해 직사각형 개수로 흐름과 복단면 개수로 흐름에 대한 DNS 자료를 이용하였으며, 계산된 전단속도는 기존의 실험자료 및 수치해석결과와 비교$\cdot$분석되었다. 평균흐름장에서는 직사각형 개수로 흐름의 경우, 자유수면 부근에서 내측이차흐름이 발생하는 것을 볼 수 있었으며, 복단면 개수로 흐름에서는 주수로와 홍수터의 접합부 부근에서 쌍와가 생성되는 것으로 나타났다. 이차흐름의 최대크기는 체적평균된 주흐름방향 유속의 약 $5\%$로서, 직사각형 개수로 흐름에서 발생되는 것보다 더 강하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 이차흐름의 영향으로 주흐름방향 평균유속의 등속선이 편향된 것으로 나타났다. 본 DNS에서 전단속도가 최대값을 갖는 지점은 직사각형 개수로 흐름의 경우 자유수면이며, 복단면 개수로 흐름의 경우 접합부인 것으로 나타났다. 이는 기존 LES 결과와 동일하지만, 실험연구와는 다른 결과이다. 접합부에서 이러한 차이를 보이는 이유는 실험에서 마찰속도를 산정하기 위해 사용하는 방법의 부적합성에 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Factors Affecting Mental Health of School Violence Experience in Korean Multicultural Youth (우리나라 다문화청소년들의 폭력경험이 정신건강에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between violence damage experience and mental health of multicultural youths in Korea, and to use it as a basic data in developing mental health promotion interventions for multicultural youths. This study is a secondary data analysis based on the 2018 Youth Health Behavior Survey. Data analysis is based on IBM 25 ver. SPSS was used and logistic regression analysis was performed using complex samples. As a result of this study, factors affecting the mental health characteristics of multicultural youths in general are violent damage experience, gender, and subjective health. Suicide plans and suicide attempts were high. Although this study is a secondary data analysis study, it is difficult to grasp the school violence damage and mental health causality.

Prediction of Protein Secondary Structure Using the Weighted Combination of Homology Information of Protein Sequences (단백질 서열의 상동 관계를 가중 조합한 단백질 이차 구조 예측)

  • Protein secondary structure is important for the study of protein evolution, structure and function of proteins which play crucial roles in most of biological processes. This paper try to effectively extract protein secondary structure information from the large protein structure database in order to predict the protein secondary structure of a query protein sequence. To find more remote homologous sequences of a query sequence in the protein database, we used PSI-BLAST which can perform gapped iterative searches and use profiles consisting of homologous protein sequences of a query protein. The secondary structures of the homologous sequences are weighed combined to the secondary structure prediction according to their relative degree of similarity to the query sequence. When homologous sequences with a neural network predictor were used, the accuracies were higher than those of current state-of-art techniques, achieving a Q3 accuracy of 92.28% and a Q8 accuracy of 88.79%.

Architectures of Convolutional Neural Networks for the Prediction of Protein Secondary Structures (단백질 이차 구조 예측을 위한 합성곱 신경망의 구조)

  • Deep learning has been actively studied for predicting protein secondary structure based only on the sequence information of the amino acids constituting the protein. In this paper, we compared the performances of the convolutional neural networks of various structures to predict the protein secondary structure. To investigate the optimal depth of the layer of neural network for the prediction of protein secondary structure, the performance according to the number of layers was investigated. We also applied the structure of GoogLeNet and ResNet which constitute building blocks of many image classification methods. These methods extract various features from input data, and smooth the gradient transmission in the learning process even using the deep layer. These architectures of convolutional neural networks were modified to suit the characteristics of protein data to improve performance.

  • This study shows how to use effectively construction and solution of the quadratic equation developed by mathematicians such as Gyung Sun-jing, Hong Jung-ha, Hong Dae-yong, Lee Sang-hyuk, and Nam Byung-gil through mathematics history of Chosun Dynasty. Mathematics history of Chosun Dynasty can be used in order to enhance comprehension and increase interest in an introduction to the quadratic equation. It also can be used to help motivate middle school students to solve the quadratic equation with much interest during the development phase, and develope conceptual thinking and reflective thinking in the practical phase.

Risk Factors of Severity of Pressure Injuries in Acute University Hospital Inpatients (급성기 대학병원 입원환자의 욕창중증도의 영향요인)

  • This study was conducted to identify the factors influencing the severity of pressure injuries of patients with pressure injuries admitted to acute university hospital. This study was a secondary analysis on the data of the study conducted to identify the factors influencing the deterioration of pressure injuries during hospitalization. The data were collected by retrospectively examining the medical records of patients with pressure injuries who were 18 years of age or older and who were admitted to acute university hospital from May 2017 to November 2018. We used data from 472 patients with pressure injuries at admission for this secondary analysis. In order to identify the factor influencing of severe pressure injuries compare to superficial pressure injuries, we analyzed the data using logistic regression analysis. As a result of the study, gender, body temperature, and patient's movement were identified as factors affecting severe pressure injuries. Therefore, special care is necessary to increased the number of position change for inpatients with pressure injuries, especially for patients with decreased mobility.

Ring Chart for Categorical Data (다차원 범주형 자료에 대한 링차트)

  • 범주형 자료에 대하여 탐색적 자료분석을 할 수 있는 기존의 여러 그림들을 변수의 수가 많아지면 시각적인 식별이 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 삼차원이상의 다차원 범주형 자료를 이차원 평면성에 표현할 수 있는 링차트(ring chart)를 제안한다. 각 칸의 확률값을 표현하는 링차트는 범주형 자료의 구조 전체를 시각적으로 파악할 수 있으며, 관측값을 표준화한 링차트는 변수들간의 연관성 여부를 시각적으로 판단하는데 유용한 정보를 제공한다. 삼차원이상의 자료에서는 이중 링차트(조건부 링차트)를 개발하여 일차 및 이차교호작용 검정까지도 가능하다. 또한, 관측값과 잔차를 동시에 표현한 잔차 링차트는 설정된 모형의 적합성 여부를 시각적으로 평가할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
