  • 본 논문은 계통전압 불평형시 풍력발전용 DFIG (Doubly-Fed Induction Generator)의 유효전력과 무효전력 맥동을 제어하는 새로운 기법을 제시한다. 발전기 토크식을 대칭좌표법을 이용하여 정상분과 역상분의 전류로 표현하고 토크 맥동을 제거하기 위한 회전자 역상분의 지령전류를 유도한다. PSCAD/EMDTC를 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 방법의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • This paper shows the comparison of operating characteristics between squirrel cage induction generator and DFIG(Double Fed Induction Generator). Because squirrel cage induction generator consume the reactive power due to magnetizing reactance, the capacitor is need to compensate the reactive power. Otherwise, two back-to-back PWM voltage-fed inverters connected between the stator and the rotor allow sub/super synchronous operation with low distortion currents. In this paper, the response characteristics of squirrel cage induction generator and DFIG, were analyzed and investigated using PSCAD/EMTDC.

  • 전력계통에서의 풍력 발전의 설치가 증가하면서 사고 발생시 전체 계통에 대한 신뢰도 및 안정도에 영향을 미친다. 이를 고려한 Fault Ride Through 제어 기법은 보다 안정적인 계통운영을 위한 방안이다. 최근 대부분의 풍력발전시스템은 이중여자 유도형 발전시스템(DFIG)이 설치되는데, 이는 전력변환장치를 이용한 유효 및 무효 전력 제어가 가능한 가변속 풍력발전시스템이다. 본 논문은 PSCAD/EMTDC를 통해 DFIG를 모델링하고 Crow Bar와 Rotor Side Converter의 연계 제어를 이용한 Fault Ride Through 제어 기법을 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 확인 하였다.

  • 본 논문은 이중여자 유도형(DFIG) 풍력발전 시스템에서 유효전력과 무효전력을 직접적으로 제어하기 위해 가변구조제어의 일종인 스위칭 이득기반의 선형궤환(LFSG)제어기법을 제시한다. 개조된 직접전력제어기법 (DPC)과 공간벡터변조방식(SVM)은 제안하는 제어기법을 실현하기 위해 이용된다. 개조된 직접전력제어원리를 이용해서 설계된 LFSG제어기법은 널리 사용되고 있는 자속기준제어기법(FOC)에 비해서 간단한 제어구조로 강인성과 빠른 응답특성을 보인다. 시뮬레이션결과는 제안하는 제어전략의 타당성과 강인성을 확인해준다.

  • Wide operating range and speed control is needed for wind power generating and a Doubly Fed Induction Generator(DFIG) has good adaptivity for that purpose. This paper deals with the speed, power, and power factor control using the Grid connected DFIG in the super-synchronous speed regions, by controlling frequency and voltage fed to the rotor. Power flow of the DFIG and steady-state algebraic equations of the equivalent circuit are analyzed. The wind turbine speed and constant stator power were controlled by the rotor exciting frequency. For a normal operating region, in which the generator ratings were not exceeded, rotor exciting frequency. For a normal operating region, in which the generator ratings were not exceeded, the rotor current was either less than or equal to the rated value. Accordingly, the optimal power factor can be selected relative to the permissible rated current at the rotor coil which controls the magnitude of the injected rotor voltage to the rotor according to a given rotor frequency. Consequently, it is possible to determine the optimal drive of a DFIG for wind power generation application.

  • To ensure the frequency stability of wind power generation, we analyzedd the existing technology and proposedd a method for changing the gain value with respect to to the rotor speed by adding the MPPT reference value and output reference value that reflect the system frequency. The MPPT control and output were compared and calculated for performance verification. Subsequently, the application of the proposed algorithm led to an increased output when compared with that of the existing control method.

  • 본 논문에서는 2.2kW급 이중여자유도발전기(DFIG)를 이용하여 계통에 발전전력을 연계하는 풍력 발전 시뮬레이터를 제작하고 무효전력 출력성능을 실증한다. DFIG는 회전자 정격이 고정자에 비해 20~40% 수준으로 회전자 여자 및 계통 연계를 위해 사용되는 전력용 소자의 정격이 낮아지는 장점이 있다. 가상의 계통연계기준을 설정하고 풍속에 따라 결정된 최대 유효출력을 고려하여 무효전력을 생산함으로서 진상/지상 역률 제어를 전 운전영역에서 실시할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • In this paper, doubly-fed induction-type wind power generation system simulation model for grid connection is developed. The simulation model is based on PSCAD/EMTDC and consists of rotor-blade, blade controller, generator power converter and generator controller Blade controller controls the blade pitch angle for starting, peak power limiting and emergency condition. Generator controller controls the generator output power to maximize the system efficiency. Simulation results are shown for the variable wind speed conditions. The simulation model can be utilized for study of actual interaction between wind turbine and grid for reliable operation and protection of power system.

  • In this paper, we develop PCS for doubly-fed induction-type wind generator(DFIG). PCS consists of a converter set and a controller. PCS controls the active power of wind generator and the reactive power of wind turbine system according to rotating speed, instantaneous power, grid quality, and order by transmission system operator.
