향후 도래할 유비쿼터스 환경에서 USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network)은 홈네트워크, 텔레매틱스, RFID 서비스 등의 기본 인프라를 형성할 것이다. 무선망 기반의 USN은 다양한 정보보호 취약성을 내재하고 있어, USN 기반으로 제공되는 지능화 서비스에서 이용자들이 경험하는 위협은 현재의 정보화 역기능보다 훨씬 심각하게 대두될 것으로 우려된다. 미래에는 실생활에 관련된 위협이 증가하면서 이용자들이 보안 및 프라이버시이슈에 대해 더욱 민감해 질 것이다. 그러므로 이러한 이용자들에 보안 및 프라이버시에 대한 만족할 만한 수준의 제도적, 기술적 대안을 제시하지 못하면 USN의 활용화가 지연되고 관련 서비스의 확산 자체가 무산될 가능성도 배제할 수 없다. 따라서 USN이 사회기반 인프라로 뿌리내리기 위해서는 이용자 보호를 위한 적절한 정보보호 대응마련이 필수적인 요건이라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 USN의 적용확산으로 발생할 수 있는 정보보호 위협요소를 분석해보고, 이에 대한 핵심적인 정보보호 요구사항을 도출하고자 한다.

본 연구는 공공도서관 이용자들을 대상으로 실제 도서관 이용과 관련한 구전행위가 어떤 내용으로 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 공공도서관 한 곳을 주 1회 이상 정기적으로 이용하는 20-40대 이용자들을 대상으로 심층 면접을 통해 자료를 수집하고, 근거 이론 방법을 적용해 데이터를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 총 130개 개념과 58개의 하위범주, 그리고 17개의 범주가 도출되었고, 도서관 서비스 이용에서 구전으로 이어지는 일련의 과정은 '도서관 인지-도서관 서비스 이용 및 경험-도서관에 대한 구전 행위-구전 행위에 따른 결과'의 네 단계로 정리해 볼 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 도출된 핵심범주는 '나에게는 가깝지만 같이 소통하기에는 어려운 도서관'으로써, 평소 도서관과 관련된 것들에 관심이 많은 이용자들에게는 도서관이 가깝고 친근한 시설이지만 대다수의 일반인들에게는 구전을 통한 소통과 이해가 어려운 장소로 인식되는 것으로 나타났다.

기록 관리는 기록을 선별하고 수집하여 보존하는 것에서 이를 이용하는 방향으로 발전하고 있지만 여전히 기록관의 존재를 인지하지 못하는 잠재적 이용자가 많다. 따라서 본 연구는 기록관과 이용자의 상호작용을 지원하는 기록정보서비스 챗봇을 개발하였으며, 구체적인 개발 절차와 방법을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 적용 대상으로 명지대학교 대학사료실을 선정하고 이용자 요구 및 질의 분석을 진행하였고 챗봇 개발을 위한 논리적 구조 설계를 제안하였다. 이어 IBM Watson Conversation과 카카오톡 메신저를 통해 챗봇을 구축한 뒤, 시험 실행(Pilot run) 과정을 통해 기록정보서비스 챗봇이 이용자와 상호작용하는 모습을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 기록정보서비스 챗봇 개발 과정의 경험을 바탕으로 시사점을 제시했다.

The primary purpose of this study is to compare printed index and abstract user's behaviours with digital index and abstract user's behaviours, and to verify of structured characteristics of a printed index and abstract. The major findings are as follows: (1) When the research topic is not specified enough, users tend to rely on printed indexes and abstracts search, whereas they utilize digital form in order to do retrospective search in the stage of research when the topic is determined. (2) Printed index and abstract users are expecting small number of literatures in search, whereas digital index and abstract users are expecting large number of literatures to be found The former are more satisfied with the result of search than the latter. (3) Digital index and abstract users experience more search failure than printed Index and abstract users. When they fail to find wanted materials, both users turn to the other form of indexes and abstracts. (4) Printed index and abstract users shows significantly less knowledge on online searching than digital index and abstract users.

Diverse disciplines such as information science, computer science, cognitive science, and industrial design, are activity engaged in the website evaluation research efforts. Information scientists emphasize the importance of user-centered and user-friendly website design, which is also easy to use, This idea is based on the understanding that the users and the designers are different set of people. In addition, information scientists consider the practice of maximally incorporating user inputs during the website design to be very important guideline. However, this study is based on a newly emerging population of website users who are also designers. 218 study participants evaluated the websites that they designed in comparison to the websites designed by others. According to the survey data analysis, the study participants considered the content delivery, design simplicity, design consistency, and link access of the websites to be equally important from both users' and designers' perspectives. However, the content organization, rich content, and screen composition were underestimated from the designers' point of view whereas these factors were considered to be important from users' point of view.

While numerous studies have empirically investigated user behavior in LIS research community, less research has attempted to examine such studies in methodological perspective. Reflecting this, relevant studies have suggested the need to develop methodological framework for such studies. This study conducted content analyses of user behavior studies recently published in JASIST and analyzed factors which affect the external validity of result of such researches. The findings revealed various types and cases related to the generalization of the study results. Based on these, a methodological framework for user behavior studies were suggested.

본 연구는 정보원으로서 실제로 이용되고 있는 규격자료의 이용 현황을 조사한 것이다. 이용자들의 업무(연구) 분야별 이용 규격의 Section과 이용된 규격의 제(개)정년도, 이용경험과 업무(연구)단계에 따른 이용 패턴을 조사 분석하였다. 또한 국내에서 이용자들이 실제로 많이 이용한 규격자료의 이용 기관과 이용 가능한 기관에 대한 인식도를 조사하였다. 한국표준협회와 한국표준과학연구원이 실제로 많이 이용된 기관으로 조사되었으며 이들 기관들에 대한 인식도 또한 높은 것으로 나타났다.

도서관은 공공서비스 중에서도 강제적인 서비스가 아니고 임의적인 또는 생활의 질과 관련되는 서비스이기 때문에 서비스 수요는 접근용이성이나 주변환경 등의 영향을 받게 된다. 그러나 지금까지 우리나라의 공공도서관의 입지결정은 정책결정자의 의지나 경험이 크게 작용하여 이용자의 이용측면을 고려하지 않고 설립되었다. 본 연구는 공공도서관의 입지와 이용과의 관련성을 밝히기 위하여 이용자가 인지하는 접근용이성과 주변환경의 주관적 인지도를 측정하고 이용이 높은 도서관과 이용이 낮은 도서관간의 차이를 밝힘으로써 앞으로의 공공도서관의 입지선장에 유용한 자료를 제시하는 데 그 목적을 두었다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the phenomenon of users' experience of O2O transportation service - focus on the Kakao taxi. As a research method, first case study investigated characteristics of taxi app service in Korea and overseas O2O transportation service. Secondly, we conducted an in - depth interview with eight Kakao taxi users to understand the experience of using the taxi. As a result, we were able to derive two points that needed improvement. Firstly, the imbalance between supply and demand should be improved. Secondly, users should not be disadvantaged by the location disclosure. It is significant that this study suggests ways to improve domestic O2O transportation service through a taxi. It is expected that the follow up study will help improve the domestic O2O transportation service and improve the user experience.

The purpose of this study was to identify the perception of alternative medicine and factors affecting the intention to use for nurses and caregiver. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, this study was conducted to examine the awareness of alternative medicine, use experience, and intention to use for 400 workers in hospitals and nursing homes. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows. Recognition of alternative medicine effected on reliability of alternative medicine, awareness and use experience. In addition, experience with alternative medicine has a negative impact on the intention to use alternative medicine. In conclusion, this study suggested that the development of alternative medicine requires efforts to improve the therapeutic effect of alternative medicine.
