Recently, there have been a number of news reports on natural disasters, like earthquakes. typhoons, floods and tsunami, all over the world. Korea does not seem to be safe from such disasters or terror threats. As places with high numbers of visitors. libraries need to take preventive measures to be prepared for such disasters and threats. This paper analyzes the current status of emergency measures adopted by 75 public libraries in Seoul. Daejeon and Jeonbuk in Korea. For each library surveyed. the causes of and ways to recover from disasters were reviewed and detailed analyses were carried out in low areas: Implementation of preventive measures disaster management and equipment, status of human resources and assignment of people to disaster recovery, safety courses offered to library users and training methods. In addition, each area was analyzed in regard to possible solutions and ideas for improvement, as well as suggestions to upgrade disaster recovery systems in the future.

This study aims to find an optimal method for the mobile map application to provide directions by analyzing users' behavior in wayfinding and the information referenced in the direction-finding tasks. The mobile application provided information such as 'the name of the store on the first floor,' 'current location and directions to proceed if there are multi-branching roads,' and 'alleyways.' In the visual representation of information, the application should pay attention to 'landmark elements such as subway station exits and bus stops,' 'the color of crosswalks and overpasses,' 'division between sidewalks and driveways,' and 'entry to the subway stations.' For the mobile map application to provide intuitive interaction, it is necessary to specify 'the direction toward the destination,' 'the possible rotation of the map screen,' and 'the big roads' preference guidance.'

The main difference between web searching and traditional searching is that the web provides and supports multimedia searching. This study aims to investigate the multimedia searching behavior of users of NAVER, a major Korean search portal. In conducting this study, the query logs and click logs of a unified search service were analyzed. The results of this study show that among the multimedia queries submitted by users, audio searches are the dominant media type, followed similarly by video and image searches. On the other hand, among the multimedia documents clicked on, video is the most popular collection type followed by image and audio collections. Entertainment is the most popular topic in both multimedia queries and clicks. The results of this study can be implemented for the portal's development of multimedia content and searching algorithms.

Many university libraries, facing financial difficulties, have been forced to operate on a tighter budget. Such trend has created the need for an objective standard that will prioritize current library services. This study derives service quality factor via open coding from internet postings posted in the last five years on the Korean National Open University's library website, and also calculates the customer satisfaction quotient and dissatisfaction quotient using the Kano Model and Timko's Customer Satisfaction Coefficient. The result draws 25 service quality factors across 3 categories consisting of: (i) 8 attractive qualities, (ii) 15 one-dimensional qualities and (iii) 2 reverse qualities. The study, through the calculation of Timko's Customer Satisfaction Coefficient per service quality, proposes an intensive service that can prioritize the efficient use of library budget.

The purpose of this research is the estimation of a transfer ratio according to transfer time reflecting passenger attributes such as sex, age, income, job, the car ownership, and other variables with the assumption that a transfer ratio would be different depending on each passenger attribute. This research tested transfer time through a question-survey, estimated transfer time according to the passenger attributes using a data sample, and presented some applicable models about marginal transfer time for the case of the determination of transfer ratios according to transfer time. In this research the sample which had been surveyed for passengers walking to access a transfer station was used to test and estimate and the question was present walking time to the transfer time and the marginal transfer walking time.

This study was performed in order to derive components that users with disabilities demand first when using library services by analyzing the actual usages and demands of handicapped users according to different types of disabilities. The results of the study are as follows: First, the actual situation of library disabled users was analyzed according to types of disabilities. Second, the importance and satisfaction level of disability types were investigated for the main components of the library disability service. Third, major components of library services were analyzed using Borich's Needs Assessment Model for the disabled and ways of activating library services by types were suggested. Fourth, we analyzed the differences according to different purposes of use by the disabled within Borich's Model for the main items of library services. We also proposed a plan to meet the purpose of library use by each type. Fifth, we analyzed the differences by type of users in Borich's Model for the major items of library services and thus suggested solutions to improve library services by types of disabilities.

최근 온라인 게임 산업이 급속도로 확장됨과 더불어 Gamebot과 같은 비정상적인 프로그램으로 인한 게임 서비스 피해사례가 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 특히, 대표적인 게임 장르 중 하나인 FPS(First-Person Shooter)에서 Aimbot의 사용은 정상적인 이용자들에게 재미 요소를 잃어버리게 하고 상대적 박탈감을 일으켜 게임의 수명을 줄이는 원인이 된다. 비정상 게임 이용자의 근절을 위해서 메모리 변조 및 불법 변조 프로그램 접근 차단 기법과 불법 프로그램 사용의 패턴 모니터링과 같은 기법들이 제안되었지만, 우회 프로그램 및 새로운 패턴을 이용한 비정상적인 프로그램의 개발에는 취약하다는 단점이 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 정상적인 게임 이용자의 패턴만 학습함으로써 비정상 이용자 검출을 가능하게 하는 딥러닝 기반 단일 클래스 분류 기법을 제안하며, 가장 빈번하게 발생하는 치트(Cheat) 유형인 FPS 게임 내 Aimbot 사용 감지에 초점을 두었다. 제안된 비정상 게임 이용자 감지 시스템은 정상적인 사용자의 마우스 좌표를 데카르트 좌표계(Cartesian coordinates)와 극좌표계(Polar coordinates)의 형태로 패턴을 추출하는 과정과 정상적인 마우스 동작 기록으로 부터 학습된 LSTM 기반 Autoencoder의 복원 에러에 따른 검출 과정으로 구성된다. 실험에서 제안된 모델은 FPS 게임 내 마우스 동작을 기록한 공개 데이터셋인 CSGO 게임 데이터셋으로 부터 학습되었으며, 학습된 모델의 테스트 결과는 데카르트 좌표계로부터 훈련된 제안 모델이 비정상 게임 이용자를 분류하는데 적합함을 입증하였다.

The purpose of this study is to measure the library online service quality based on the expectation and the service performance from the users' point of view. The online questionnaire was developed based on SERVQUAL, however information quality dimension was added on it, and the survey was conducted within a research library. The factor analysis for effecting library online services showed that 5 service dimensions were loaded discretely, and information quality was put in the other dimension. The IPA (Important Performance Analysis) result confirmed that information quality, service reliability, and service assurance were considered as important factors : multiple regression analysis revealed that tangibility and information quality were the most significant dimension for the library online service.

This study reports on the development of a metadata schema and an information retrieval system for the Food Education Digital Library project initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and Korea Food Education Network. The metadata schema developed using MODS describes various types of food & nutrition education materials and helps users discover and identify appropriate materials. The implemented information retrieval system supports various search options such as keyword and directory search as well as search for holdings of the library and linked materials.

Recent planning for bicycle use is relatively low compared to other studies. Although studies for the bicycle roads accessibility are actively underway, those considering topographical elements and characteristics of the user behaviors are very limited. Choosing paths of cyclists is typically influenced by slopes and intersections as well as optimal distance. This study presents a method to find optimal paths considering topographical elements in case of choosing paths for school commuting using bicycles. Conversion formulae suggested here are tested on a Songpa area using round-trip directions and compared with traditional optimal path computation.
