Content Analysis of Smartphone Addiction Management Applications: Self-Determination Theory Perspective (스마트폰 중독방지 앱의 자기결정적 동기화 속성에 관한 내용분석: 자기결정성 이론을 중심으로)

  • The present study aims to evaluate the self-determined motivational features of smartphone addiction management apps. This study analyzed whether smartphone addiction management apps have features to support adolescent users' basic needs, that is, autonomy, competence, and relatedness. 26 apps were analyzed. Among them, 8 apps were parental management apps installed on a parent's phone and a child's phone, and 18 apps were self-management apps installed on a child's phone. According to a content analysis, only 3 of 26 apps addressed all three basic needs. Overall, the functions to support users' competence and relatedness were rarely found. Particularly, parental management apps had a high level of controlingness. The results suggest that the addiction management apps have limitations in stimulating adolescent users' self-determined motivation to manage their phone use.

Importance-Performance Analysis for Korea Mobile Banking Applications: Using Google Playstore Review Data (국내 모바일 뱅킹 애플리케이션에 대한 이용자 중요도-만족도 분석(IPA): 구글 플레이스토어 리뷰 데이터를 활용하여)

  • The purpose of this study is to try to IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) by applying text mining approaches to user review data for korea mobile banking applications, and to derive priorities for improvement. User review data on mobile banking applications of korea commercial banks (Kookmin Bank, Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank, Hana Bank), local banks (Gyeongnam Bank, Busan Bank), and Internet banks (Kakao Bank, K-Bank, Toss) that gained from Google playstore were used. And LDA topic modeling, frequency analysis, and sentiment analysis were used to derive key attributes and measure the importance and satisfaction of each attribute. Result, although 'Authorizing service', 'Improvement of Function', 'Login', 'Speed/Connectivity', 'System/Update' and 'Banking Service' are relatively important attributes when users use mobile banking applications, their satisfaction is not at the average level, indicating that improvement is urgent.

  • 현재 인터넷의 사용 증가로 인한 개인 정보의 유출이 급증하고 있다. 특히, 인중과 권한의 허가가 동일한 시스템 내에서 이루어지므로 처리에 불필요한 개인 정보가 과다하게 공개되고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 인중과 권한, 처리를 개별적으로 분리한 프라이버시 속성 인증 제어 시스템 모델이 제시되어 있다. 그러나 프라이버시 보호를 위한 처리모델은 서버로 하여금 서비스 이용자의 각종 지원 서비스와 서버 운영 통계 처리 분석을 불가능하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 공개 가능한 개인 속성 정보만을 선별적으로 참조 가능하게 하는 프라이버시 속성 인중 네트워크 프레임으로 확장하기 위한 모델을 제안한다.

A Study on Information-Seeking Behavior of User (이용자의 정보추구행동에 관한 연구)

  • This study was to analyze the media-contacting motivation and the optional seeking behavior for the informations, namely, what kinds of media the information users contact and what types of informations they select for the purpose of meeting their needs of the informations. For this purpose, the questionaires answered by 277 of the employees including the professors, reseatchers, teachers, officials and collegians were analyzed by properties. The Result of this analysis is that the new hints or ideas by the professors and the researchers appeared in the highest at the academic meetings or the reseatching activities and those at the other employees appeared at the internet sites. It was shown that there is a very close correlation between the information-seeking behaviors and the user properties as the types of their seeking informations and their information-seeking morivations are considerably different from each other.

  • This study had been carried out based on the users' behavioral pattern in order to survey characteristics of bus station, a public facility. As a detailed analysis, quantification theory type 3 was performed based on 50 number of samples installed at each local governments as targets in order to evaluate bus station attributes and to survey its characteristics. As a result of this experiment, it was revealed that installation pattern of bus station would differ depending on characteristics of four axis of migrating population density, functionality and simplicity, metropolitan city of densely populated companies, local city with strong locality, the front of school with dense migrating population, secluded rural village, specific place like museum, rural area with dense migrating population. Therefore, in this study, detailed items were suggested comprehensively so that the design considering local environment and users' characteristics, in addition to modeling features of bus stations suitable for local characteristics, could be progressed. If any design and model complying with local environmental features based on above contents should be applied, bus station would be assessed by the users more positively in the future.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of VR news focused on recall, understanding, enjoyment, visual fatigue and reuse intention through experimental study. Using Window SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 program, the data was analyzed by exploratory/confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and path analysis. The Results are as follows. First, presence and immersion among VR news characteristics influenced positively on users' recall of VR news. Second, presence, interactivity and immersion among VR news characteristics influenced positively on users' understanding of VR news. Third, presence, interactivity and immersion among VR news characteristics influenced positively on users' enjoyment of VR news. Fourth, presence among VR news characteristics influenced negatively on users' visual fatigue of VR news. Fifth, presence and immersion among VR news characteristics influenced positively on users' reuse intention of VR news. This study will provide on an important implication understanding VR news characteristics and VR news users.

  • In this study, in order to expand the access points of reading materials, a reading material classification (RMC) system based on the facets of book use was devised. The facets of books that can be considered by book users in the reading situation were content-analyzed. Also, through network analysis, subject headings adjacent to one subject heading were grouped into related subject headings. The RMC developed in this study can be used as a tool that provides various access points to help book users search in the library OPAC and other reading information systems.

  • Since the game is industrialized in the 1970s, efforts to study attributions throughout the definition of the game has been continued. This study analyzed the importance of 7 attributions including rule, goal, conflict, activity, decision-making, voluntary, art that were collectively organized by Katie Salen & Eric Zimmerman using AHP. For this, we analyzed the data after subjected to pair-wise comparison survey through the gaming industry experts, and the result was confirmed that match the analysis model comparing with the survey of game players. In this analysis of the importance, Goal(24%) is the greatest important in the seven factors mentioned above. Art(16%),Voluntary(15%), Rule(13%) followed after it. So, We can find out which attributes are considered important in the game development process through this Research.

  • 본 연구는 상호작용성의 속성과 이용자에게 주어진 통제력에 따라 상호작용성을 4 가지 차원으로 나누고, 이것이 어떤 경로를 거쳐 이용자 만족에 이르는지를 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 상호작용성을 최적화하는 킬러 콘텐츠로 e 러닝을 선정하고, 상호작용성에 영향을 미치는 선행요인으로 서비스, 콘텐츠, 미디어 품질을 도출 하였으며, 상호작용성과 이용자 만족을 매개하는 변인으로 사회적 현존감과 인지적 몰입을 포함하는 연구모델을 제시하고자 한다.

Twitter and Retweet Context: User Characteristics and Message Attributes of Twitter for PR and Marketing (기업의 홍보 마케팅용 트위터의 리트윗 현황 분석: 이용자 특성과 콘텐츠 속성을 중심으로)

  • The rapid growth and popularity of Twitter have been one of the most influential phenomena in the era of social network system and the mobile internet, which also opens up opportunities for new business strategies; in particular, PR and marketing area. This study analyzed use of Twitter in terms of user characteristics and message attributes. Actual field data from the Twitter for PR and Marketing of a representative Korean IT company (Company "K") was used for this analysis. Research findings show that overall corporate twitter users show passive attitude in retweet behavior. Also, users who have relatively small network size (less than 1,000) are more active in retweet than power twitterians that have big network size(over than 10,000). It is showed that the rate of retweet is higher in the order of recruiting, promotional event, IT information, and general PR message. In the conclusion section, practical implications based on the research finding are thoroughly discussed.
