  • 안구는 외막, 중막, 내막, 등으로 이루어져 있고, 그 중에서 가장 중요한 부분의 망막이다. 망막은 외부 물체에서 오는 빛을 받아 그 양을 정량적으로 분척하여 뇌로 보내는 역할을 한다. 이로 인해서 망막이 손상되면 눈에 치명적인 영향을 주어 자칫 시력을 잃을 수 있다. 안과에서 의사들은 정확한 병명을 진단하거나 안전한 수술을 하기 위해서 명확한 망막의 상을 얻어야 한다. 본 연구는 공초점 방식으로 망막 영상을 획득하기 위한 연구로써, 폴리곤 미터, 갈바노 미터 등의 복잡한 광학적 시스템이 제안되었다. (중략)

A Study on Lee Young-choon and the Institute for Rural Health Before and After Liberation Through Records (기록물을 통해 본 광복 전후 이영춘과 농촌위생연구소)

  • This study examined the operation and facility changes of the Institute for Rural Health, which was established to provide medical and health care in rural areas of Jeollabuk-do from 1935 to the 1960s, and its founder, Dr. Lee Young-chun, based on records. The research institute, established for the purpose of providing medical care and hygiene to farmers in Jeollabuk-do, began in 1935 when Lee Young-chun opened a clinic as a farm doctor. The time when a separate corporation was established as a research institute to seriously promote medical care and hygiene was 1942, as can be seen from records from that time. However, the above plan was not realized at the time for various reasons, and after liberation, due to insufficient financial support, it was launched as the Institute for Rural Health in 1948. The Institute for Rural Health, established in 1948, continuously expanded its facilities to achieve its founding purpose. These facilities can be divided into the Ungbon Farm, the US military government (Shinhan Corporation), the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, depending on the entity that subsidized the operating expenses of the institute. However, the Institute for Rural Health was excluded from the operation of the Seagrave Hospital, which was established with the Korea-America Foundation in the 1970s, due to debt borrowed to supplement operating expenses after 1956, and thereafter lost its actual medical and sanitation activities.

  • The efficiency of internet lectures has been proved in many areas, and its significance and role theory has been consistently mentioned in the fields of furniture design education that demand a large amount of educational contents and practice in visual education. However, it reveals weaknesses without satisfying the demand owing to various realistic issues. In this study, the significance and developmental process of internet lecture as well as its effect after the development in terms of the education on furniture design were analyzed by counting some development cases of internet educational program in relation with AutoCAD educational course, a computer design program for furniture design. Also through such analysis, it intended to promote the development of design education by assessing the merits and problems, assignments to be supplemented, and utilization of the educational course development.

Improvement of Gelatinization, Saccharification and Panfrying Processes of Nochi, a Traditional Korean Rice Cake (노치 제조방법의 공정개선에 관한 연구)

  • Attempts were made to improve gelatinization, saccharification and panfrying processes for mass production of Nochi, a kind of traditional Korean rice cake. Gelatinization of waxy rice powder with 20-55% of moisture content were completed within a minute at 120$^{\circ}C$ or above by using the extrusion cooker. Among enzymes tested for liquefaction and saccharification of the gelatinized rice, in place of malt, BAN (0.53%)+${\beta}$-amlyase (4.27%) was the most suitable enzymes for the production of Nochi. Panfrying process of Nochi was drastically shortened by heating Nochi dough for 1 minute in a microwave oven and subsequently panfrying at 150$^{\circ}C$ for 7 minutes.

  • NSD(No Spin Differential) has been developed fer a military truck. A benchmarking study for USA and Russian NSD has been carried out. Axiomatic approach has been applied for improving the design. A test code for NSB has been developed and applied to the developed sample. In the test results of comparing the developed sample with the USA imported sample, three major characteristics-the noise, mobility and steerability - are in the range of the intended target. A practical process for the evolution design is proposed.

  • Three types of infant food were experimentally prepared based on the average caloric requirement for, Koreans : Formula A, with 1/3 RDA for 4-6 month, formula B, with 1/2 RDA for 7-9 month, and formula C, with 2/3 RDA for 10-12 month old infants. Into each formula was added approximately 50% of rice. Analysis of the nutritive values on these formula showed no deviance Com the expected values in case of general nutrients while the percent of essential amino acids in protein was muck higher except methionine. Since iron content was found to be below the half of except values, a sufficient amount of iron as required in RDA should be additionally supplied, for example, in iron drops. The infant preference test on each formula showed much favorable acceptability : 50% of them responded as moderate, 33.3% as favorable, 12.5% as disliking, and 4.2% as disgusting. The test also showed no noticeable change in both feces and appetite.

  • The storage stability of the developed Formula of infant foods was investigated. The results are summarized as follows : When formula A and B were stored at room temperature and refrigeration temperature, there was no remarkable changes in consistency. In frozen state, formula A showed more stability in consistency than formula B and formula A could be stored for 6 months without problems due to retrogradation of starch. The heat treatment of both A and B resulted in the increase of a-value, while L-and b-value showed no such change. But from the 4th month at room temperature, and 5th to 6th month at refrigeration appeared an increase in a -value, hence the browning reaction, while frozen samples did not show noticeable changes in surface color. The heat treatment also caused an increase in POV on both formula. The extent of changes in POV during storage varied with storage temperatures and samples.

Controller Design for Stable Engine Idle Mode (안정한 엔진 공회전 모드를 위한 제어기 설계)

  • The engine idle speed mode becomes worse as one drives a vehicle for several years. This is due to ageing of engine and power-train parts. In this case, unstable idle conditions such as engine stall and droop are frequently experienced when the engine gets heavy torque loads due to power steering pump and air conditioning compressor. The objective of this paper is to study on the idle speed control using PID controller under load disturbances. The input of the PID controller is an error of rpm. The output of the PID controller is an ISCV duty cycle. The dSPACE Controller Boards are used to interface with engine. The on-vehicle test is realized using by SIMULINK and BLOCKSETS tools. The real time interface control panel supplied by Control Desk S/W is designed to have good results in engine idle speed control.
